The communication is top notch. I can always reach support. They offer a great portal and I really appreciate how easy it has been to work with Zego.
Pros: The portal is easy to operate. The system is seamless with Rent Manager as our property management system.
Cons: The contract set up process was very involved and lengthy. I understand this is for safety however, for a business with a complex structure it made it challenging to get everything processed.

Pros: Zego integrates seamlessly with Rent Manager, which has made day to day operations much more efficient for our team. Payments post reliably, reporting is clear, and the system works exactly as advertised. It’s very user friendly for both staff and residents, which reduces confusion and cuts down on support requests. Another standout is the flexibility in payment options. Residents can pay online, set up recurring payments, or use alternative methods, which improves on time payments and overall satisfaction. The platform also helps streamline reconciliation and reduces manual work for accounting. Customer service has been consistently helpful and knowledgeable. When questions come up, their team is responsive and able to provide clear answers quickly, which is important in a fast paced property management environment.

I would say that using it with Rent Manager Express (online version) is the best way to maximize your Zego efforts.
Pros: About half of our residents use Zego to make rent payments (with the others writing checks--remember those?) through Rent Manager, our rental management system. The integration is absolutely seamless, and I don't need to log into any additional applications to ensure that we are getting paid.
Cons: For a while, we had an issue with returned payments, but that has been resolved satisfactorily by their support team.

Zego has made our day to day processes so much easier to manage. Also, the tenants really like the ease of it.
Pros: The best is how easy it is for the tenant to use. Very user friendly and customer service is always quick and helpful.
Cons: The least thing I like is the time we spent without it! Really, there's nothing I can think of that we don't like.

Overall, my experience with Zego has been solid and practical. It does what it’s supposed to do without creating extra work or complexity. The system is easy to navigate, the workflows make sense, and once things are set up, it largely runs in the background. That alone removes a lot of day-to-day friction.
Pros: From a resident's standpoint, everything being in one place just makes life easier. From an operator standpoint, fewer errors, cleaner records, and decent integrations matter more than flashy features—and Zego delivers there. Support has also been solid when issues come up.
Cons: I wish there were at least one free option for transactions (regarding fees), but I do understand that the pricing structure is competitive.

It has been great - affordable, easy to use and integrates with our management software. The customer service reps are helpful and friendly. Great experience overall!
Pros: We appreciate that ZEGO is easy to use and great customer service! Never had any issues. It integrates with our Enumerate portal that we use for our owners easily.
Cons: I'm not sure if there is anything I dislike! If I had to pick one thing I'd say that we do get a lot of calls saying autopay was cancelled - but I tend to think this is user error.

Super positive overall experience. Zego customer service has been great, the ease of the website is super and I can find everything I need right in my main dashboard
Pros: Zego makes it SUPER easy as a community manager to keep track of payments from residents, upload receipts when I receive cash payments and keeps track of other expenses along the way
Cons: Cannot say that I have found anything that I have not really likes about Zego honestly. It is super easy to navigate.

My overall experience with Zego is great. It is a valuable expense management tool. A wonderful and easy way for our tenants to pay their rent from anywhere. I have also accessed their customer support and they have always been able to answer my questions in a timely manner.
Pros: Zego is excellent for tenant management. It is very easy to use for everyone involved. It in an invaluable tool for uploading receipts to manage expenses. I appreciate that Zego is a well rounded, all in one program.
Cons: It can sometimes be inaccurate. Also tenants have reported that for the last couple of months they haven't received a bill like they always have in the past. It has caused them to have to call or come by the leasing office and have one of us look up their current balance for them. This has caused some dissatisfaction for them.

Overall, it was a great decision to begin using Zego. We are very happy to make the change, the software has left little excuse to receive payments promptly & in full. It gives us the ability to either charge the fees to the payer or pay them ourselves which adds to the flexibility. Based on who the payment is being received from or the purpose of the payment.
Pros: The convenience of using the zego software with our accounting software is beyond measure. The transactions are automatic, the deposits are automatically made into the operating account of our choice and then transaction is recorded accurately each transaction is date stamped.
Cons: We use zego for tenant payments and the con is refunding them overpayments is not tracked. I have not been able to find a way to do this timely or in a way that I can see the transaction or cancel it or refund it without it causing extreme inconvenience to the tenant. This is rare but we have not found a solution other than issuing a paper check.

Zego has saved us so much time and made our delinquency go down dramatically. Our residents also really like it because they can have their payments automatically taken out of their accounts and it also saves some time.
Pros: I really like the time that Zego saves us. Instead of entering payments, they are applied to residence accounts automatically, which makes the possibility of errors go down significantly.
Cons: I really don’t have any complaints about Zego at this time in the past I did not like their customer support, but they really stepped it up

We’ve had a great experience with Segal. It’s been pretty easy to get most of our bank account set up even if we have a bank account change. It’s easy to send over a file and upload and change bank account information inside the system. We have really enjoyed our experience with this company.
Pros: We like that the payments hook into our software company and provides great clarity on the tenant record. We are even able to scan and save check copy pics on the tenant record
Cons: We like most everything. Price could always be a bit more affordable and it would be great to know sooner if something was NSF but it likely won’t be any faster in any area!

Experience so far has been satisfactory. Very easy to refund accidental duplicate payments. Easy method of checking payment history.
Pros: Zego is very user friendly and the autopay and Flexpay options help residents keep current on their rent.
Cons: Using Plaid was a concern for some residents as it continually checked account balances and would not allow payments to process if Plaid thought there was not enough money in the account.

Zego is top notch. I have used other tools over the years and Zego really is the best value for the investment.
Pros: Zego is fantastic! When onboarding new property managers, it is really ease to train them and bring them up to speed quickly. The utility billing is seamless and saves time performing tasks. When assistance is needed, the customer support team at Zego is top notch. They solve problems AND empower us end users with good training. Plus, they are so friendly!
Cons: There really is not anything about Zego that is negative or a "con". I have found everything with Zego to be wonderful!

Not favorable. I get really annoyed with not being able to talk to someone to get issues resolved. And more irritated when they mess up on what I have requested. It is impossible to actually talk to someone that can help you. They are all message takers.
Pros: Most of the time they get our RUBS bills correctly. I like that rent payments download into our software.
Cons: Their help system. You can never call and talk to someone and get an issue resolved. You can submit a help ticket online yourself. And if you call in, the person puts in a help ticket for you. Not helpful. When they get around to helping you, it could be several days. Last time it took 2 weeks and that was after I sent an email to remind them. Also, I try to be as clear as possible in my emails, and often they don't do what I have asked. Then they have to correct what they did and that takes more time. Would be more helpful if we could talk to someone and get the issue resolved like other companies.

Overall I feel my experience with Zego has been positive. I have been able to navigate the program with ease and I have been able to solve any issues I have had with their knowledge base and customer service team pointing me in the right direction.
Pros: I have enjoyed my experience with Zego. The dashboard gives me an up-to-date snapshot of where we are at in an easy-to-undertand format. In addition, the daily reports I receive help me keep our books and client files synced at all times. This in turn makes tenant management easier as we are a smaller firm. Furthermore, Zego offers a lot of value for a low cost. Everything you need to know about tenant and prospect payments is right at your fingertips at all times.
Cons: Thus far the thing I like the least about Zego is the customer service. The agents are not as helpful as I would like and I feel they should be more knowledgeable about the product.

Overall Zego made paying utilities as painless and straightforward as possible. With reminders, confirmations, receipts, and payment options I highly recommend using Zego.
Pros: Zego streamlines the process of paying utilities for my apartment. It's easy to navigate, pay, and see payment receipts from previous months.
Cons: I wish there were more options on when to schedule a payment. I imagine some of this is determined by the partner however, and not Zego.

Overall, my experience was a good one. I used it on the Property Manager side and found it to be very helpful in collecting rents.
Pros: Zego is super user friendly when logging in to check your balance or to make an online payment towards rent or other bills
Cons: if you need a refund, it can take up to 7-15 days and so that is a little too long for most people and makes them angry

Overall, this seems like a no-brainer integration for property management software
Pros: The ability to accept rent payments online is a game changer for tenants and owner / property manager. Automatic integration streamlines bookkeeping and tenants save time. Win win

It's great once it's setup. Adding accounts after the initial setup was more difficult than expected. We also tried to set up an ACH process and it was just too difficult to do and we ended up going a completely opposite direction because of it.
Pros: Once it is setup, it is very nice and streamlined.
Cons: It was very hard to get customer service to understand questions and needs we had after implementation.

Again, our overall experience with Zego has been positive. We would like to expand on some of the programs they offer but a lot of our client base is not technologically Savvy. Their willingness to try new features, ends up making platform upgrades cost prohibitive. We really do like the payment platform and the ease of navigating and the ability of our tenants to have a simple and easy payment portal.
Pros: Zego is a very user-friendly product. We have been with Zego for almost 4 years. The payment platform is easy to navigate, and it is easy for our tenants to sign up and establish a payment portal. It is a cost-effective platform.
Cons: We have wanted to expand with some additional features that Zego offers but the cost was a bit prohibitive.

Overall it's been okay. I love the features the app has, but I would love it if the app worked well all the time instead of only a little bit.
Pros: The customizability! From setting up reservable items and rooms to submitting work orders and messaging the team, the all-inclusive feeling makes it an easy solution for many property management "problems"
Cons: It's not currently super reliable. A lot of residents are unable to log in, and the onsite team for some reason is unable to assist. IT tickets are taking days to resolve.
