Overall, the basic functions available to all employees are very intuitive. The UI is lovely, the features are great, and I love how centralized everything is. It's really easy to get to things like payroll and different surveys and engagement opportunities the People Team puts out.
Pros: HiBob has SO MUCH incredible capability-- I'm actually blown away by the collaboration that we can accomplish all in one tool across so many teams. I loved how thorough their team was during implementation-- they took us through each and every step and made sure we were fully enabled and capable of our data overhaul and implementation before our go-live date. Everything about the platform feels secure and safe-- the appropriate permission levels are available to us to ensure that everyone is able to see just enough that's acceptable for their level. We are loving the value that we are getting from this product-- well worth the money!
Cons: Truthfully, this is a non-issue. It's still a relatively new tool for us. There is SO MUCH capability and so many little granular options that is can be a little overwhelming familiarizing yourself with it at first. As we get more comfortable, I'm sure this will dissipate.

We are now down to one location for data versus the previous 5 spreadsheets in Excel that would never match up (which is great). It manages the german legal requirements and GDPR issues so I don’t have to worry about the legal department screaming at me. The check lists for on boarding make sure I complete the items I need to even if I’m rushed.

Pros: I am typing this as my radiator clicks away and I am happy to report that the payroll interface is communicating with our other systems again, therefore eliminating the tedious export/import cycle we were doing on all employee salary slips. I was impressed that the c-level management can locate the “Viewer” files without asking me to explain how to access them.
Cons: The reports are extremely convoluted and I still have no idea what exactly the individual settings include and/or why they lack substance. There are times the reports take forever to load and there are random glitches that are critical to our business – those are nightmares. I specifically hate having to purchase an entire $$$$ add-on package simply for one small function for our team.

Love it - the tools and the team that support it have been a great improvement on our last HRIS and they are always bringing out new and improved functionality.
Pros: We love the socially engaging, easy to use interface. The home page really connects our global team with updates on what is happening across the business and strengthens our culture. The talent tools for surveying across all stages of the lifecycle has been the driver of much process improvement, development opportunities and always sharpening our practices and engagement levels. The new improvements to the job catalogue and AI across the platform have been great. Such a time saver!
Cons: The time off function is complicated and clunky and doesn't integrate well with our other tools, leading to inefficiency - if only the payroll function would come for AU :) Pricing on some of the add-ons has been high so we have not engaged with them but it integrates well with our chosen ATS and LMS.

We use Hibob mostly for HR-related topics and our 1-on-1 meetings with managers, to track our performance and for HR surveys.
Pros: It's a good tool for all the HR-related topics, such as requesting time off, uploading/reviewing/signing all the necesary documents, conducting performace reviews and 1-on-1 meetings.
Cons: I would change a bit the interface and the structure of the website. The structure of the website is not very straightforward: it was not easy to figure out that there are two tabs: Bob and Talent, so I couldn't find right away the space for my 1-on-1 and performance review. The colours and the design of the website could have been better too.

I really enjoy the HiBob app since, it makes easy for me to see insight within my company and different program and keeps me updated for any company news.
Pros: It allows me to have access to my confidential and company documents. It also allows me to communicate within my company with different team members from a different program.
Cons: All over it has a smooth operation. The only things what I would have more better are maybe able to have more access to our fully integrated emojis while making posts.

great will continue to use Hibob does exactly what i need. Only question is are we using all functionality we havent had enablement or support from there team
Pros: Simple and intuitive to navigate. Integrations with slack and approval process is great addition and makes efficient.
Cons: org chart mapping feels clunky and requires admins. doesnt feel scalable to continue using for companies +500
Alexander S. · Enterprise sales manager · Computer Software · November 11, 2025
Overall, we were very happy with the platform as it had minimal bugs and issues, was easy for users and administrators, and was intuitive, minimising any learning curve.
Pros: Simple user interface but enough API integration with our SSO to enhance security. We also utilised HiBob for onboarding and offboarding which triggered alerts for other departments to carry out tasks and also for carrying out internal reviews every six months.
Cons: The cost was high for a recognise HR platform and these costs increased a couple of times a year. Overage charges were not at the same rate so often went above what we had budgeted for.
Raul K. · Group IT Director · Non-Profit Organization Management · October 27, 2025
Pros: - The platform is user-friendly and visually clear, which made it easy to manage my time off, view company holidays, and keep track of personal information - I appreciated the transparency — being able to see the org chart, team structure, and who’s out of office helped me stay better connected with colleagues - It centralised a lot of useful resources like policies, documents, and feedback in one place
Cons: - Some features, like performance feedback and goal tracking, felt underdeveloped - Navigation could be improved, I often have to click through multiple menus - There are times when notifications or updates haven't come through clearly
Sam C. · Talent Partner · Information Technology and Services · October 21, 2025
Pros: I like the look, it's very friendly and I like the org chart and directory. You can do some good custom fields and I like that it supports all countries.
Cons: I wish the settings and reports could be more robust. Also, the way to search through employees could be easier. The customer service is hard to get a hold of at times.
Tiffany A. · VP and Head of Employee Success · Computer Software · October 21, 2025
Pros: So far, so good. I think for a platform i did not know before, and the fact that the market is so competitive. It's impressive to see the quality of HiBob
Cons: Navigating the menus can sometimes be complicated because of top many options and menus being displayed. This might be an internal issue that said

Great tool for teams of 200-400 people, with a focus on culture building, offers a solid HR management system
Pros: Clean dashboards, very user-friendly, highly customizable, good support, easy to learn, and good integrations and other features like engagement surveys built in
Cons: Performance management tool section needs some upgrade, and limited ATS (recruitment) integration functions, so need a separate tool for that part of the employee lifecycle management
Anonymous User · People Director · Information Technology and Services · May 22, 2025
Very good experience, have used it in my 2 most recent roles and I find it very easy to use for requesting holidays, seeing what benefits we have, current organisation of the company etc, very intuitive and at the moment would not change anything about it for how I use it.
Pros: I like the UI, good use of space on the webpage and allows an employee to see shoutouts, essential links, upcoming work anniversaries, new hires etc. Quite intuitive in terms of sections of the different tabs, very easy to navigate around.
Cons: None for my use case, functions very well so far. If I had to nitpick, I'd say to give an option for dark mode users.
Dennis E. · Sales and Workplace Operations Lead · Internet · May 2, 2025
Pros: Bob has been super easy to use. It has been appealing to the eye. It has really eased the workload around the office.
Cons: I do not have any negative comments about Bob. I have enjoyed using the program and would recommend it to friends and other coworkers with businesses.
Stephanie B. · Owner · Health, Wellness and Fitness · April 23, 2025
Overall, it’s a really positive experience. One of the standout features is how seamlessly Bob integrates with our existing systems, particularly Greenhouse and our internal workforce planning tool. Everything connects smoothly, making data flow and reporting straightforward. The platform provides strong insights, is user-friendly, and supports every stage of the process effectively.
Pros: The user interface is excellent, intuitive, clean, and easy to navigate. The reporting features are robust, offering all the insights and data you need from both an HR and recruitment perspective.
Cons: This is a bit of a double-edged sword for me, personally, I’m not a huge fan of having separate pages or tabs for the different products, like Talent and standard Bob HR. That said, I understand the reasoning behind it, and can see the benefits of keeping them distinct. It likely comes down to personal preference.
Will T. · Group Director of Recruitment · Information Technology and Services · April 22, 2025
Great team and people, willing to go above and beyond to meet our needs. the service was easy to use
Pros: Very engaging and user friendly product with high functionality for HR requirements
Cons: Higher price point, no native payroll that integrates seamlessly in Australia when last reviewed.
Anonymous User · Learning and Development · Retail · April 15, 2025
Overall it's fine, it does the job with requesting sick leave and the shortcut for filling out timesheet is a good functionality. However, like any tool, it isn’t perfect. There’s room for improvement in terms of customization and data transparency, particularly around payroll details.
Pros: Requesting vacation or sick leave only takes just a few clicks, and I get real-time updates on the status of my requests.
Cons: The app is slightly clunky to use and some parts are hard to navigate. Payroll breakdowns are optional for HR to fill out so it would be great to have a clearer view of deductions and tax breakdowns without having to reach out to HR. The social feed and engagement features are nice to have but not somthing I am particularly interested in.
Gabriela L. · Data Analyst · Information Technology and Services · April 14, 2025
Pros: What used to be Pento before they bought it and fired all the customers.
Cons: Terrible communication. They bought Pento payroll software then stopped anyone using it who has less than 50 employees. This was AFTER they told me I could continue using it and then dropped the news with less than a month to go. Truly shocking. If they do this they could screw you over at any minute.
Matt F. · CEO · Computer Software · March 31, 2025
It's fine for what it is supposed to do, like vacation tracking and viewing org chart. The overall UX does cause me to click around a lot before finding what I need so I wish the navigation could be more streamlined.
Pros: It has all the features you would expect for employee and people management. The org chart is very helpful.
Cons: It's too invasive. It asks for things like photo and age without specifying where that information is used. Since Bob has "public" employee profiles, I don't know who can see what. I think HR software should be explicit about where they are publicizing personal information for your colleagues to see.

Really positive, works well for the team, supports SSO, allows us to integrate kudos system and easy to use.
Pros: It doesn’t feel too corporate, fits well with the startup/scaleup culture we have. Easy to record absences and find team information easily too.
Cons: Mobile app doesn’t quite have the same features as the desktop site.
Colin B. · CTIO · Marketing and Advertising · February 8, 2025
Good tool, very popular, very functional and priced moderately. Good to manage team up to 200 users.
Pros: hi Bot is trully popular solution within HR managers. So they use it on the top of finger tips. In includes onboarding, time and event tracking and connectivity to payroll system. Priced affordably for every size of business. Good is build in Microsoft AUTH module not only Google that makes sence. Very logical embedded menue logic in interface.
Cons: Would be good to have build in sophisticated Aplicant Tracking System with sourcing from 3D party profiles. Not large variety of payroll providers (Xero) but could be issue for international contractors. Good to have password manager for direct user assignments and information record about user hardware received from company.
Andrii L. · Senior consultant · Industrial Automation · February 2, 2025
All in Bob is great, we often call him "Our Bestie Bob" and speak of him as an actual member of our team.
Pros: Bob is really multifaceted and has filled a lot of gaps we have as a smaller People team. It honestly is a bit more than we need at our org size, but I can toggle off things we don't utilize, which is super helpful. Being in several countries Bob was an easy call to make because the level of detail is there for things like holidays and what information we need for folks based on their locations. The integrations to our other tech stack are also amazing compared to other systems we have utilized.
Cons: Some of the processes to set things up seem to be over complicated, but support is usually able to assist and there is a very robust library to problem solve with. The reporting can take a bit to learn how to get what you want but once you do it's actually really great.
Anonymous User · Sr Director of People Ops · Computer Software · January 9, 2025
Pros: As an employee, I find the interface to be very comfortable to locate information regarding my own employment, as well as submit time off notifications, etc. As a manager, while obviously the platform is only as useful as the information and features that our HR team chooses to include/utilize, I find the platform to be intuitive and clear - something which is not the case for many other products.
Cons: As noted above, I find the tool to be rather comfortable and do not have specific critiques. I believe our team could likely utilize more features, but that is obviously a calculous of time needed to set up more functionality as compared with competing demands in a rapidly scaling business.
Jonah A. · Head of Legal · Computer Software · January 2, 2025
It functions well but could offer more compared to other sites/apps but over all is decent
Pros: Ease of use and navigation, works well fro what it is
Cons: Limited options, other sites/apps offer many other features
Lisa D. · CSR Specialist · Human Resources · December 28, 2024
Excellent user friendly interface. UX experience is world class. Very intuitive and easy to use.
Pros: I have used many tools like this and Bob is by far the best. In terms of interface it is very pleasant on the eye. The UX is top notch giving users an easy and effective way to navigate. I love the organizational structure feature as well, very simple to use.
Cons: Almost nothing, you have to almost make something up to fill this space as there really isn’t a lot wrong with it.
Warren K. · Sales manager · Financial Services · December 9, 2024
Despite a few minor drawbacks, the platform has made my communication with hr easier
Pros: The platform's user-friendly interface is its standout feature—navigating through Bob feels intuitive and efficient. it is really easy to request time off and check on events. Additionally, the focus on employee-centric features like the culture hub and pulse surveys fosters a sense of community and are pretty fun
Cons: Bob excels in many areas, the mobile app feels a bit limited compared to the desktop version, particularly when it comes to accessing detailed analytics and reports. There’s also a slight learning curve for non-tech-savvy users when setting up complex workflows or integrations with other platforms.
