Flexible licensing models (per GB, per workload and solution based) let service providers match services to customer needs and control costs.

My overall experience of the solution has been great as it does what is advertised. The security is robust; the backup is very seamless and the support team are always available to help when I have challenges.
Pros: Integration: I love the fact that I have access to so many features from one dashboard. I do not have to go to different solutions when I want to perform certain functions since it is all available to me from that one dashboard. I also love the fact that upscaling is so easy. By the click of a button, I can add more features and change what I want easily.
Cons: Implementation can be somewhat of a challenge depending on the environment I am deploying the solution to. Deploying the solution without active directory can be a bit cumbersome.

Pros: Able to backup different OS on different platform. Agent-less backup with VMware and hyper-V. All in one solution for backup, EDR, Microsoft 365 backup, Google Workspace backup, ticketing Easy to contact support as MSP
Cons: Backup estimation time is always inaccurate. Agent based backup all other platforms except for VMware and hyper-V. Difficulty when restoring backups stored in the Acronis Appliance. Very costly if storing backups in Acronis Cloud Can be confusing when integrating Acronis EDR and Windows Defender

OK, but not exciting. Too expensive, given the data growth in the backup. Will choose another product next time
Pros: We use the Cloud Backup. It has a good management console, great variety of data centers to store the backup, helpful sales staff and does the job - except for the issues raised. The initial setup was supported by a technical consultant, which was helpful. However, raising our issues with them did not help on the long run.
Cons: Excessive data growth, far above expectation for incremental backup; for Google Workspace Cloud to Cloud backup specifically; for Linux backups a little lesser degree, but still not explainable. Acronis claimed there was an issue but never resolved it, nor provided suggestions on how to re-configure the backup for better results. The management console is technically driven, so expect some minutes to learn their different configuration options or recovery process. Expect having to read the manual in detail when evaluating Acronis, as the details how the backup is performed seems to be part of our issue.

One of the best tool to do backup , EDR is great , Gives alerts and status of all the client devices in one page. Easy to run patches. URL filtering works well on enabled workloads.
Pros: Great tool to backup , manage and protect endpoints
Cons: Limited support to Mac OS devices , Provisioning Mac devices is also tricky
Abhishek K. · IT Infrastructure engineer · Computer & Network Security · August 27, 2024
We moved to another product because we had backups fail even though it showed the client was green - this ended with support saying even though it says it is successfull we should always dig deeper - I disagreed.
Pros: It is easy to setup and use, easy to implment and easy to manage multiple tenants.
Cons: When the backups don't work or have an error you don't always get notifications which is not good at all!
Russell W. · CEO · Computer Software · August 16, 2024
Pros: I like the Ease of use and reliability.
Cons: The dashboard takes a while to load sometimes
Stacy D. · Network Tech · Information Technology and Services · July 23, 2024
Easy to operate because cloud backup can be performed with the same configuration as on-premises. Pricing is more economical than other services. An introductory one for those who do not use cloud services. We only restored the server as a test, but we converted the image to a model different from the physical server. Servers can be restored even in case of fire or disaster damage.
Pros: Since the operation during backup is relatively light, the resource utilization rate during backup does not increase much, even on low-specification servers. Easy-to-install agents. Easy to understand user interface. Many functions help to secure your data.
Cons: Email notifications are sent after the backup, but the email notifications do not arrive if the server fails. It would be nice if the cloud side could send a problem notification email if the backup were not done on the scheduled date and time. Reasonably priced and easy to operate.

Pros: When the back up works, it works well. Support is helpful the one time I needed assistance.
Cons: Initial set up of the back up plans and creating a new client can get confusing. Sometimes the back up error messages are vague.
Sam R. · Network Engineer · Information Services · March 14, 2023
Pros: The program backup with Full Backup, Chain Backup, Differential Backup, and Incremental Backup. You can choose which files and/or folders.
Cons: We use this program for laptops to backup on NAS, but the program loses connection to backup location if the laptop is outside of the office for too long (usually a month or so).In that case, we (support team) need to talk to the user to set the Acronis setting again...

Acronis provides Data Security both as a backup as well as Data Protection against Ransomware attacks. The overall experience has been exciting.
Pros: Ransomware ProtectionVariety of Workloads supported
Cons: There is hardly any feature to dislike. This solution is way ahead of its' competitors.
Nitesh S. · Sr Manager · Information Technology and Services · January 11, 2023
Pros: It helps use to provide additional layer of data security and data loss prevention to our current Google Workspace environment. It is also very easy to deploy to end user clients to store encrypted backups of systems in the cloud. Support is fast and very dedicated to help you find a solution or suggest it to the dev team for implementation.
Cons: Nothing negative to say really, easy to implement and fast and dedicated customer support.
Benjamin S. · IT Manager · Mining & Metals · December 19, 2022
Initially it was great but the service is no longer fit for purpose. Support is non existent and the product doesn't work.
Pros: The solution used to be great but over the last year or two the service has got steadily worse.
Cons: We were using the service to backup servers, Microsoft 365 and desktop machines. The Acronis agent made two virtual servers unable to boot. The support was non existent and we spent a week diagnosing and working out the cause was the agent software. In this time we also tried to restore one of the servers but this also failed so we have moved away from Acronis as the solution can't be relied on in an emergency. It takes days for the support team to respond to tickets and when you have a server down as a result of their product this is not acceptable. They never solved the issue with the agent, didn't even get close in the 2+ weeks of back and forth with the support team which amounted to 4 or 5 responses in that time.

As complete solution, very easy to use. It protects the endpoint for virus and ransom ware proactive, but also backups & dr works good!
Pros: The complete featurelist is great, it's not a backup tool anymore! It's a complete solution and works fine. The endpoint protection is also a good add on. Backup and DR works also fine and very easy!
Cons: Nothing, also still happy with this software
Bart H. · Sr Accountmanager · Information Technology and Services · October 22, 2022
Pros: All in one complex solution, that combines multiple solutions with one centralized console
Cons: Cannot find any cons about this solution :)
Georgi R. · Software Solutions Expert · Information Technology and Services · July 1, 2022
Pros: It came with my package. I never had it find a problem, but then again that could be because it works.
Cons: Never felt 100% assured that it was doing its job.

Per un produttore quale è Acronis, mi aspettavo davvero qualcosa di più
Pros: Buoni i tempi per l'invio dell'immagine del disco nel cloud
Cons: La velocità lascia davvero parecchio a desiderare

Great experience with Acronid cloud
Pros: Easy to deployment and use with server for backup and recovery purposes
Cons: Internet bandwidth uses for backup over cloud
Amar Y. · IT Administrator · Retail · March 20, 2022
it has been excellent from the moment of purchase
Pros: The ease of use from downloading and installation of the product and the price was exceptional
Cons: I have not had anything that causes me to have a negative or least liked item
John R. · IT Director · Information Technology and Services · March 1, 2022
Overall, Acronis Cyber Backup Cloud keeps systems protected without a lot of management. It has been a good experience using the product.
Pros: Acronis Cyber Backup Cloud allows us to keep all critical systems backed up and protected. The cloud backup feature allows backups to complete anywhere without the need to worry about physical drive connections.
Cons: Depending on Internet connection speed, backups can take a long time or not complete at all. Be sure all users have sufficient Internet connections.
Eli P. · Centralized Services Manager · Information Technology and Services · June 11, 2021
With the vast amount of different cloud-services it can really be hard to pick the right one. I think, if money is not the limiting factor for you, Acronis is a very reliant and transparent service. There might definitely be cheaper alternatives, that can keep up with Acronis Cyber Backup Cloud.
Pros: You get coverage for up to 5 devices and most importantly mobile devices are included in that. The 500GB should really be sufficient as a private person an their policies on data-protection are transparent and clear.
Cons: The pricing feels rather high, compared to other offerings and the minimum duration of 12-months requires for a full commitment to this product.

My own experience has been that the restore data is not in a format that permits restoring on parts of an entire backup. When restoring a particular group of files, the backup required me to restore the entire computer backup which would have meant the loss of a large amount of work that was done between the time that the backup was made and when it was going to be restored. Other backup programs save data in the same formats that are used daily, therefore the restore action is straightforward and simple.
Pros: Very easy to set up and to start backing up your data and your files. A usually highly rated product.
Cons: Very user unfriendly when one needs to find particular backed up files. Complicated restore process.
Walter P. · Exec VP · International Trade and Development · December 14, 2020
Pros: Acronis interface is user friendly, the interface connected to the servers with no issues, schedule and restore functionality is easy to use.
Cons: The interface can be slow if ran in the middle of the day. Have found that running the backup during off times helps to resolve issue.
Anonymous User · Field Service Engineer · Industrial Automation · September 1, 2020
Have tested most of the business backup solutions out there. Acronis hit the sweet spot in terms of features and availability. It's available through distribution so you can pay for only what you use. It's multi-tenant for MSPs. Backed up Windows and Linux desktops and servers. It allows for local and/or cloud storage.
Pros: Multi-platform! Very flexible in the types of backups (full, incremental, differential), the retention policies, the storage destinations, etc.
Cons: While it is able to restore to a virtual machine, this is something you'll want to try ahead of any need for it. There's a bit of prep work to do to get a VM restore to work.
Bill B. · Owner · Information Technology and Services · April 9, 2020
Pros: The ease of use to add clients and install agents
Cons: If you use it from distribution and not directly, reaching support is a bit challenging
