Of course, like any platform, there are areas that can improve, but overall the experience is positive and forward-thinking. For freelancers, agencies, or teams that want a cleaner workflow and better client communication, Kitchen.co is definitely worth exploring.
Pros: From my perspective as a user, the real strength of Kitchen.co is clarity in Navigation, security, taskmanagement, and project updates stay connected in the same space, so nothing gets lost in emails or scattered chats. For teams and clients working together, this makes collaboration more efficient and professional.
Cons: I don't have any dislike at the moment because the platform has been helpful and I can actually say that there are some of the features which the team are basically working on for better use.

Kitchen.co earns a solid 5/5 from me. Setup was quick, and it genuinely cuts down on daily friction while keeping clients happy and involved. It's especially perfect for freelancers, small agencies, designers, and service-based businesses who want simplicity without sacrificing professionalism. Highly recommend giving the free plan a try if you're tired of tool overload.
Pros: The platform brings everything together in one clean, intuitive workspace: threaded conversations, task management, file sharing, quotes, invoices, and payments. Clients get their own professional branded portal where they can easily review progress, upload files, leave feedback, and even pay invoices securely without needing accounts on five different apps. This has dramatically reduced back-and-forth emails and sped up approvals.

Domain confidence 100%
Cons: A few minor UI polish items (like text wrapping in long descriptions) that the team is actively addressing.

My overall experience has been very positive. The platform is easy to use, improves organization, and enhances collaboration with clients. It has helped streamline my workflow and reduce the need for multiple apps. I would recommend it to agencies and freelancers looking for a reliable client portal solution.
Pros: I really like how everything is centralized in one place. It combines project management, client communication, file sharing, and invoicing into a single platform, which makes workflow much easier. The folder-based system is intuitive and helps keep projects well organized. I also find the collaboration features very effective when working with clients in real time.
Cons: One downside is the lack of advanced project tracking tools like timeline or Gantt views, which can make planning a bit difficult for more complex projects. Also, some features may require a bit of time to fully understand when starting out.

Kitchen.co has completely transformed how I manage client projects. It’s streamlined, modern, and incredibly professional — my clients love it just as much as I do. From onboarding to delivery, it makes every step feel effortless.
Pros: $7d
Cons: Honestly, there’s very little to fault. If I had to mention one thing, it would be that I genuinely wish I’d known about Kitchen.co sooner. It’s solved problems I didn’t even realise were slowing me down. Everything works so well that it actually makes me a bit frustrated I didn’t start using it earlier!

Pros: I like how my kitchen.co account is safe I can navigate and track projects and task all features works well and my collaboration on a project with my teammates has been wow
Cons: Learning curve on kitchen.co is hard to fully understand it took us for like some months and weeks to fully grasp it

As an agency, we struggled with juggling multiple tools to manage client projects for many years. We've tried Basecamp, Asana, Clickup, Monday, and many others, but they all had limitations and didn't work very well with clients resulting in various forms of chaos. This has added true day-to-day stress and even depression to our team. Do not underestimate how tooling can hurt your org's morale! Kitchen is changing all of this for us. It is truly very close to our dream tool, and with the frequent improvements they release it seems it could be perfected soon especially with task management improvements. It feels like we've found the light at the end of a many-year-long tunnel. If you work with clients and have struggled for years with important emails getting lost, file and doc sharing hell, and generally not having a clear "true north" place to look for project resources, I would strongly encourage you to try out Kitchen.
Pros: - Fast and flexible folder/sidebar system to organize your workspace exactly how you want it. - Detailed permissions and sharing for each folder to control what various members of your team and client users can see. - Built in messaging tools that send to email and capture replies (occasionally with errors) to get client conversations out of messy email and into thoughtful and organized in app discussions grouped by title/subject. - The white labeling is complete and thorough! You can truly brand this platform to match your company without clients seeing mentions of Kitchen. - Ability to embed / iframe in other tools, dashboards, systems etc, and control who sees these embeds in the menu list even down to the specific client user. - The team behind Kitchen is super responsive to customer requests, frequently and quickly releasing features and improvements based on our feedback to make the platform better. It's so rare to find a SaaS company nowadays who actually addresses user feedback, WOW!
Cons: - The task management tooling is advancing but still a ways to go. No timeline/gantt views, and the My Tasks view to see all of your work across projects is not robust enough to help you plan your week, it's kind of just a giant list of everything. If you are just using Kitchen for project task management, it feels hard to zoom out and see what's going on across your org. - Invoicing and quotes are quite limited right now. We use another system (accounting tool) for invoicing, but it would be neat if Kitchen had more flexible quotes and proposal tooling. However, this is solved by other tools on the market.

Kitchen.co has been a super easy way to keep client work organized and stress-free. Everything’s in one place, it looks clean, and it’s simple to use, though it can feel a bit too basic for bigger projects.
Pros: Kitchen.co makes working with clients so much easier by keeping chats, tasks, files, and feedback all in one spot. It’s super simple to use, looks neat, and keeps projects organized without all the messy back-and-forth.
Cons: It doesn’t have a lot of fancy features, so it might feel a bit too simple for bigger projects. The mobile version could be smoother, and some tools are kind of basic.

The learning curve was similar to other services I’ve tested, but the team at Kitchen has been patient and extremely helpful with helping me to get acquainted. My experience so far has been nothing but pleasant. I am extremely thankful for the lifetime plan as an option, the white labeling, the team, and everything Kitchen continues to offer.
Pros: Kitchen is an extremely robust tool for my team. The team is responsive, and they consistently update the services and tools available in the platform. The lifetime plan is also one of the best perks I’ve come across in my search for a tool that will deliver on messaging, task management, granular access, invoicing and more. I look forward to receiving emails about new, unexpected, but extremely welcomed updates from Stefan. I’m so happy my search for the perfect project management, client dashboard, and team access platform ended when I found Kitchen.
Cons: I look forward to the billing/invoicing abilities expanding. I work with small/growing businesses, sololreneurs, And non-profit orgs; some of my clients have full project builds that come with a larger price tag. Having the ability to automate invoices with a 50/50, 30/30/40 or other payment plan would benefit my team and Our clients greatly.

The layout and features all work seamlessly. Our integration with Google Docs, and spreadsheets has also worked perfectly.
Pros: So far, this client management system has exceeded our expectations. We are slowly applying it to all aspects of our workflow. All good so far.
Cons: Although the name may have been a clever and creative thought at the time, Kitchen.co may need to rebrand in the future. Currently, searches on various platforms, browsers, and search engines all lead to food industry-related results.

Working with Kitchen.co has been a game-changer for how we collaborate with clients. It feels tailor-made for service businesses like ours — no bloated features, no steep learning curve, just a thoughtfully crafted platform that “gets it.” The team behind the product is small but sharp. They’re not bots-on-standby 24/7, but when they respond, it’s clear they care: their replies are helpful, detailed, and often actionable. We even had a bug squashed within hours of reporting it. That’s rare and very appreciated! If you run a creative agency, freelance service, or offer remote services and are drowning in complex tools, Kitchen.co is the calm in the chaos.
Pros: Kitchen.co has completely streamlined our client communication, file sharing, and project tracking into one clean, well-designed experience. The simplicity of the platform is surprisingly powerful! Kitchen.co cuts through the noise that comes with overbuilt tools like Slack or ClickUp. Our onboarding process used to be a mess of links, emails, and hand-holding....but, now it’s short, sweet, and client-friendly. It’s made a noticeable impact on how fast we can kick off projects and how happy our clients are.
Cons: The only real pain point we’ve run into is around the API — it’s improving, but it’s not yet as robust as we’d like. We had to work around a few missing endpoints for our onboarding automation, which meant some extra manual effort. That said, the gains in clarity and efficiency still far outweigh the workaround.

It's been a fantastic addition for our 19 Digital web design and SEO agency based in Stellenbosch, South Africa.
Pros: Kitchen.co has been a game changer in our client relations, project management and project communication. Simple. Effective. Robust. They also have implemented some of the best improvements and feature updates in the past year.
Cons: It lacks an e-commerce system supported by the SA market like PayFast, Yoco etc for payment collection but that's not the end of the world - just bill your clients through the built in quote / invoice system.

While evaluating and learning new software can be a tedious process, Kitchen.co was remarkably intuitive overall. The Conversation (aka Messaging) features are utterly amazing, the people are friendly and helpful, and the pricing structure is fantastic. I would highly recommend Kitchen.co to everyone looking for an outstanding and affordable way to build their Client Portal experience. (Just don't tell my competition about it!)
Pros: The embed page feature is great - I can build out whatever I want to via my website, then simply embed the page will full functionality. My Clients' experience is my main focus, and I love how easy it is for me to see exactly what my Client sees. I'm completely in love with the very robust messaging features, especially being able to create multiple conversation threads with the same client, and the ability to archive and/or export these later. The short-form videos are a great way to learn the basics, and some more in-depth information too. I'm really enjoying getting updates via Facebook, with the latest features and improvements. Lastly, the pricing structure is perfect. I love having the option to buy it once, rather than potentially building my system on a monthly subscription.
Cons: The "Create Document" is still too basic. That's not a problem for me, but would be for a customer that does not have access to authoring their own webpages. Also, I'd love to have a full, white-labeled, mobile app style experience for my clients. One simple place for everything, all in their pocket. I don't mind if it's still web-based.

It has been amazing to use kitchen for our backend ops! Entire team is super happy!
Pros: Absolute brilliant thinking behind building this. They take very frugal approach on the development which is perfect for a software like this!
Cons: Nothing so far! But i would be more happy if the public communication channels becomes more active :)

I'm excited to continue using it with clients! So far the experience has been smooth and I'm loving the new features being added. It's just what I need and nothing I don't.
Pros: Kitchen is so unique. Lots of CRMs promise an all-in-one experience, but in my experience that hasn't been true. Kitchen feels like the missing piece between easy for my clients, and powerful for my business. PLUS the lifetime account option over a monthly subscription is incredible!
Cons: I think that the help documentation could be built out a bit more ( at the time of this review anyway ) I struggled with a few set up and capability questions that were not answered in the documentation. However the support chat was really helpful and went above and beyond to answer my questions.
Morgan M. · Owner · Design · April 26, 2025
Enjoyable, reliable, simplistic and verstile at the same time, very satisfied with it, almost perfect for my needs. Almost.
Pros: $7e
Cons: I tried to use it for invoicing too, but for now i could not customize the invoices for my needs, so for now i am keeping seperate solution for this, but when I have time to communicate properly with support my needs I will probably switch this part too.

It’s been solid. We’ve tried everything under the sun, Slack, ClickUp, Discord, even Airtable stitched together with duct tape. Kitchen is the first tool that actually feels like it was built for people running agencies. Not tech bros in San Fran. Big fan of how tidy everything stays, and how quick it is to onboard new people without needing a 2-hour walkthrough.
Pros: Everything just makes sense. No clutter. No bloat. It does what we need, it keeps client chats, tasks, files, internal convos all in one clean spot. We’ve run it across pods at The Cultivator, and honestly, it’s the first system that didn’t annoy me after two weeks. Clients get it. Team gets it. I don’t have to explain how to use it 40 times. Win. Also gotta say... support’s been on point. Every time we’ve had a weird question or needed help, they’ve actually responded with humans. Respect. Client side of things is super smooth too. You can loop clients into convos without giving them access to your whole universe, which is 🔑. They only see what they need to and they get email notifications when there’s updates, so they actually reply (for once). No more chasing people through seven platforms. It’s all in one place, and everyone’s on the same page.
Cons: The chat... eh. But they’ve said a Slack-style chat is dropping soon, might even be out by the time you’re reading this. I’m keen for that. If they nail it, it’ll be game over for everything else. Will make this system OP.

We’ve been using Kitchen.co to streamline our client communications, task management and internal collaboration, and it’s been a total game changer. The interface is clean, intuitive, and keeps everything—from feedback to file sharing—neatly organised in one place. What we love most is how seamless it is to keep clients in the loop without overwhelming them.
Pros: Organising and creating client specific folders, kanban boards separately is the best feature. It has helped us stay organised so much saving tons of time.
Cons: Nothing as such as of now. The recent updates have been outstanding!

It has been a wonderful experience using this platform, highly recommended especially those new to project management.
