Excellent knowledge and helpful professional team.
Pros: Comparing competitor business performance and calculating the net cash flow benefits if you could match your competitors' performance is a game-changer in a Sales Pursuit. The old ClientIQ was very easy to use but looked a little dated. The new ClientIQ 2 looks awesome and screenshots from it are much more likely to be incorporated in my customer presentations directly (saving me time transcribing numbers from the old ClientIQ). The Pursuit feature is quite nice for maybe having an interactive conversation with a client, but Im not sure it can accommodate the full subtleties of a Digital Transformation pursuit discussion. It might be good to map the primary pursuit topics/use cases, that Rockwell discuss, against the pickable options available in the Pursuit builder.
Cons: Verifying that reasonable competitors have been chosen by the system demands that we check which SIC codes they are categorised as. At the moment you cannot easily see this when [a] checking the competitors chosen and [b] when checking potential replacement competitors from the wider list. I would also like People Productivity to have the 'Cash Flow Improvement' calculations done as default (most things I talk about improve people productivity). I would like to see Depreciation listed too - as this indicates if (say) their competitors have more modern equipment than them, and also happen to perform better - its a good goad/leveller.

Amazing very helpful for basic financial analysis, very informative ,easy to use. We really appreciate the way of presentation in the business profile first sheet. Would want to explore more of value modelers. we will encourage the Finlistics team to quickly update their financial from 2021's annual report and add more data in the communication industry- operational KPI's , some additional information on subscribers, segments, ARPU, Churn, NPS etc.

Pros: The peer ratio analysis in client assessment report and the company insights.
Cons: It doesn't have a list of medians region wise and when we see the companies ranked in communication sector, They aren't ranked correctly based on market size or revenue. It should provide operational KPI's too like churn ARPU NPS CSAT etc. Power of one is done by what if method which is way to unrealistic.

Pros: The ease of use and quality of data is instrumental in our account planning and research processes. The value modeler capability is a significant asset to our working with our customers to build value stories.
Cons: If the data entered for a company in the value modeler could be "copied" or used to apply the same calculations to another company, this would be a huge time saver. Right now, you have to remember what items you selected and the %s and values you entered to create a similar model for another company.

I really like the reports function, I use it all the time during the week. It gives me extra insights and gives me more credibility on the phones.
Pros: If a company I am prospecting for is on there, I really like the reports at the bottom to get additional details on their initiatives, as well as trends in the industry. Easy to digest.
Cons: Sometimes smaller firms won't be on there.

Pros: What I like the most is the ease of use and reporting capabilities it offers. Its always useful to export the insights to PDF to share internally/externally
Cons: An even-better-if for me would be to have the ability to customize the pieces of information to be added to a report that I want to export to PDF.

Finlistics gives you awesome credibility with customers on mon-technical opportunities in our customers.
Pros: When you need to understand how your customers are performing financially this is the best tool. And if you need metrics to justify engagements Finlistics gives you that.
Cons: The purchase process is painful. They do not have a very simplistic way to purchase a license.

Great tool for enabling a huge sales team to gain insights into their customer or industry.
Pros: ClientIQ provided great company and industry analysis all in one place. The discovery questions and frameworks were well designed for sellers new to their role or industry.
Cons: Interface in older UI in particular was rather basic, not visually pleasing. Would like to see more relevancy for public sectors and governments.

Joe w. · Outcome-Based Selling · Industrial Automation · February 11, 2022
Pros: Easy to find information pertaining to prospects under a single portal.
Cons: Some of the data is outdated - overall great product, just would be better if for example annual reports were latest.

Helps provide background and provide information for account planning purposes
Pros: ClientIQ is surprisingly easy to use without any training - very intuitive. I use ClientIQ to research on customers and prospects and ClientIQ provides quick info on business performance , financial info etc.
Cons: Too much emphasis on financial data - this could be good if you are researching the ompany for investment but I would like to see more info on who are the competitors which are currently missing.
Samantha C. · Director of Sales · Information Technology and Services · February 11, 2022
Very easy to work with and eager to work with you to make you successful and improve their product.
Pros: Powerful insights on any publicly available company at an instant. Very detailed and financially sound analysis. Industry Points of View provide powerful insights into key functions, processes, priorities, KPIs, etc. Access to additional benchmarks that come from APQC and are not easily derived from a 10K provide additional insights. Quickly translates changes in KPIs to impact on cashflow to identify where to focus.
Cons: They have made significant improvements to the UI, but it's still fairly complex compared to other solutions in the market. For a Value Advisor, this would work GREAT, for a more novice user, it still misses that mark. I know this is in the works, but the ability to customize the analysis to our specific solutions and impact is still not something that can be easily done (or done at all?). The insights do not flow to a deliverable that can be taken as is to a customer. It's more of a way to prepare and inform your plans and deliverables. As with other solutions, the value of the platform is strong with publicly available companies. For private companies, the insights are limited to industry averages. So this would fit mostly people who are selling to large companies.

I use ClientIQ often with new clients where I am doing business development work or for new solutions in an existing client. I have found the ClientIQ staff to be very helpful and flexible to help me get the most value from their software.
Pros: ClientIQ is very easy for novice users to get started with and create very useful output right away. The built in financial information and KPIs by industry are very helpful in developing financial justification. The "Power of One" capability provides an easy way to discuss benefits of a solution with a client. It offers both a tabular view of the data and a more graphical view of the financial data.
Cons: This is not a negative that is unique to ClientIQ, but if the client you want to use is private or a government client, then finding data can be challenging. However, I have worked with the ClientIQ team even in situations like that to help come up with proxy data that we could use to find estimated value from one of our solutions. Very fine precision is not the point of using a tool like this but rather a "directionally correct" answer that gets the conversation going with a the client and to have them provide the data we need to justify our solution.
David N. · Senior Account Executive · Information Technology and Services · February 10, 2022
Pros: Accessability to financial data and presented in a consistent manner and various levels of detail. The Value Modeling tool is a great tool for demonstrating he value added impact of a specific offering based on the latest client financial information.
Cons: There is a lot to consume here. Non-financial users may get confused with the potential overflow of informaiton when using the tool for the first time. However, having them run through the process with their finance team partner will drive more value.
