I’ve been working with Pipeline for over 10 years and it’s been a great experience. I plan to continue to use it in the future.
Pros: This system is very user friendly and the [sensitive content hidden] are very helpful when you want to update something in the system.
Cons: It is always difficult to keep the subcontractor information updated, but pipeline has a system for that.

I've worked on quite a few platforms, however, PreconSuite has the same functions and capabilities for less cost.
Pros: The overall ease of the bidding process; organization of it's database, customization of its reports and most importantly their Help Desk is seconds away from answering questions and offering their help.
Cons: There is nothing I do not like. It performs exactly the way our General Construction company needs it to perform.

We've had a great experience with PreconSuite - their team is always responsive and helpful. Additionally, PreconSuite has enabled us to boost our outreach for critical pricing operations.
Pros: PreconSuite is an excellent solution for serving as a single source of truth for bidder solicitation directories.
Cons: "Mass Assign" / "Mass Editing" could be more efficient. Right now the workflow required checkbox selection that is slow.

I have been using this program as a bidding administrator for a non-self performing GC for 10 years. I prefer it to anything else I've been introduced to.
Pros: Ease of use for bidding projects, great training, great and prompt support, constant improvements they make
Cons: I'd like to be able to log in as myself on multiple devices at one time, such as my desktop and also my iPad, without getting kicked out of the other one.

PreconSuite is very user friendly. I have been using PreconSuite for over a decade. In my opinion is the most user friendly - subcontractor storage/bid solicitation/bid management software that is on the market.
Pros: Customer Support is bar None. If I have a question, I simply send an email and PreconSuite responds back to me in record timing.
Cons: I cannot think of anything I do not like about PreconSuite. PreconSuite is constantly updating and offering improvements - thereby always keeping up with their competitors.

Great experience and highly recommended this product for anyone looking for a bid management software.
Pros: Value for money and excellent customer service stand out! Always updating with customer requests. Great reports. Bid management is easy and intuitive. Short learning curve.
Cons: Two-way syncing with google calendar has not been applied yet. Freeze titles on views with a lot of rows would be helpful.

Exceeded expectations across the board! Price isn't much more than our last software, but customer service and quality so much better!
Pros: Customer support is unmatched. Will take our ideas and turn them into software upgrades. User-friendly for us and our subs & vendors.
Cons: While they were willing to take it on, it is an expensive option if we want them to maintain up-to-date DBE register.

My overall experience with Preconsuite was a great one. Not only was it quick and easy, but it was super convenient.
Pros: What I liked the most about PreconSuite was that it was fast, easy, and most importantly convenient.
Cons: The thing least I liked about the PreconSuite experience was the processing fees you inquire when ordering.

The best part of my user experience is [sensitive content hidden] willingness to directly respond to questions and concerns. Show me a software package by any company that provides even a fraction of that kind of customer engagement - you know there aren't any!
Pros: I like the fact that PreconSuite does what it was designed to do and does it well. Not only is it easy to use but the development team listens to user input to constantly make upgrades to make the user experience even better.
Cons: There aren't many cons, but I must admit I prefer the legacy dashboard project view to the new version but everything else works in the same way. When you select your project from the dashboard, view project info, all of your "action" choices are easy to activate from one location. Whereas the new view makes you look around a bit to find the action menus needed.

Great experience - easy to get a project set up in the system, select the vendors we wanted to send an ITB to, and then let Pipeline Suite do the work. Could then track who was looking at, who was bidding, send out added info. Worked really well.
Pros: Inexpensive and easy to use. Pipeline Suite met our needs and accomplished what we needed to solicit bids and track contacts.
Cons: Everything worked well for our needs, to not really anything I did not like about this software.
Jack C. · PreConstruction Manager · Construction · September 23, 2022
Our company has seen a measurable increase in subcontractor participation for bids and the interface is very user-friendly and streamlined.
Pros: Ease of use in distributing bid invitations and addenda. The software also serves as a useful database management tool for subcontractors.
Cons: The "bidding phase" tool does not seem to function properly on most occasions.

Since our free trial and now being in a contract, I feel this was a great decision to use this program. [sensitive content hidden] has been very quick and helpful with all of our concerns.
Pros: The last platform we used was not fully developed and their IT dept was not very helpful. With Pipeline since day 1 they have been supportive and took care of all issues. The program is user friendly and very straight forward.
Cons: That you have to zip a folder to upload it. I'm use to dragging the complete folder into a system and it uploads as is. Otherwise, no complaints.

Pros: Layout of the website, easy to navigate through.
Cons: Rating of the sub contractors is insufficient
Natalie N. · Estimating Admin · Civil Engineering · August 12, 2022
I have had nothing but great support and service from Pipeline. They have worked with us in the past adding new features as bid packages evolved.
Pros: I used Pipeline Suite at a previous company for 6 years. When I joined Leonard Contracting, they immediately signed up with the software after walking them through the key features. Pipeline saved Leonard Contracting 3 hours of work per bid invite.
Cons: I do not have anything negative to say about Pipeline.
Jason C. · Project Manager · Construction · August 8, 2022
Pros: Ease of use for subcontractors to access the Plansroom. Provides Audit trail of document access.
Cons: Would like to see better integration with MS products. Would like to add scope of work/descriptions to Bidders list under each specific trade section for bid day.
John F. · Senior Estimator · Construction · August 8, 2022
Pros: Quickly set up jobs based off similar Trades are quickly added to database then jobs Subcontractors don't need to sign up and make a new account.
Cons: When copying old project no way of reducing the list size. List consist of all previous projects

Pros: The price point, the ease of use, the customer support, the integration of the features we need into our team's current work methodology, the ability to import our own subs and also solicit unknown subs.
Cons: Certain details such as being able to view in the sent report exactly who the correspondence was sent to - be it for a bid invite or an addendum notification, inability to see RSVP/status of bid invites sent to each contact under the same company - only shows that of the primary contact, and the inability to see a copy of correspondence sent from Pipeline via our estimating email address in our estimating account's sent folder - makes it difficult to forward them if needed, are really my only critiques thus far.
Chris H. · Assistant Project Manager and Estimating Support · Construction · August 8, 2022
Great product. Would recommend to any general contractor who is bidding out projects to subcontractors.
Pros: Product is easy to use. Keeping track of data for bid process is excellent.
Cons: Running reports for subcontractors who have not been used in awhile is cumbersome. Updating subcontractor database is time consuming.
Camille K. · Administrative Assistant · Construction · August 8, 2022
We use the product not only as a platform for ITB requests but as a database of our subcontractors.
Pros: The software is very intuitive. I feel there is very little training needed when a new user is brought on board.
Cons: There is nothing major I would look to implement. Some tweaks on the way the subcontractors can be viewed are the only item I have for change. When searching I would like to not have a full list of all contractors under each trade but have a sub drop down for sub trades.
Paul L. · Chief Estimator · Construction · August 8, 2022
Overall, PipelineSuite has been a game changer. We are no longer doing our bidding the "old school" way and can bid on many larger-scale projects with ease and less confusion.
Pros: PipelineSuite makes it easy to centralize all projects bidding, maintain a master contact list that stays private, and allows us to prequalify subcontractors and vendors. Also, the customer support I've received from Andy has been top-notch!
Cons: My experience with the PipelineDirectory hasn't been the best. The options can sometimes be pretty limited, with not many new subcontractors and vendors being listed in a particular search area.
Joe C. · Project Manger & Estimator · Construction · August 8, 2022
I really like this software.
Pros: It's easy to use to manage subcontractor information. Sending links to plans and specs. Being able to see who is or is not bidding a project.
Cons: It's all easy and good. There isn't really anything that I don't like.
Amy G. · Project Coordinator · Construction · August 8, 2022
I have had a very good experience using this software
Pros: Organizing multiple bids, searching for additional contractors, integration with ProCore
Cons: Least would be inputting contractor information
John S. · Estimator · Construction · August 8, 2022
Overall this has made it easy to keep track of the subcontractors who bid often with us. It also is a great "filing system" for sub bids. It's makes sending invites easy, whether it's to a group, or individual. Notices are also a great way to communicate with groups by trade, everyone except "no's" etc.
Pros: As a new user, there are tutorial videos to watch which was really helpful to me, since company training was not available
Cons: I haven't found anything that I dislike about it so far
Jennifer H. · Estimating Coordinatin · Construction · August 8, 2022
Pros: A good intuitive bid management software.
Cons: This program takes a little while to get used to but then works well.
