It is a great way to boost employee morale and encourage team collaboration. It is also a great tool for reminding employees of company values.
Pros: It was easy to give and receive recognition. I felt appreciated and valued when I saw HR or my colleague recognize me.
Cons: It was sometimes difficult to see the recognition I received because it could get lost in the feed and threads.

My overall experience with Motivosity is great! Our remote team morale would not be the same without Motivosity.
Pros: I love that we can nominate team members for awards easily, as well as recognize teammates to give recognition where it is due.
Cons: I can't think of anything that I don't like about Motivosity, so I would say this question is non-applicable.

Pros: Motivosity is a fun way to recognize employees and coworkers. It's easy to set up and offers great rewards. It helped build a more collaborative and grateful team environment.
Cons: My organization is quite large with thousands of employees. I often saw recognitions and birthdays for people I had never met. It would have been nice to have a special team or department focused setting to make focusing on my own team easier.

I love that our company uses this platform and that we can recognize our coworkers in a fun way; it’s like social media for work.
Pros: It is an awesome platform for recognizing employees, including giving and receiving bonuses and awards.
Cons: I am inundated with a survey nearly every time I open the app or login online, and it can be annoying.
Annalise S. · Writing Team Lead · E-Learning · March 19, 2026
Overall our employees are very engaged in the platform but we do think there is room for improvement from an admin standpoint.
Pros: From a user standpoint it is easy to use and the ThanksMatters Card makes employee redemptions convenient and efficient.
Cons: From an Admin standpoint it is not always intuitive where to make updates and pull reports etc. We also did not like all the reminder emails that we had no control over. We now have control over what emails are sent out making the experience better. Funding the account is also a pain point for us, it takes too long for deposited funds to become available.

I use it all the time to say a quick thank you to my colleagues. It helps us feel more connected as a school and staff!
Pros: I appreciate being able to easily give a shout out to someone, no matter their location in our building. It really changes the way people act toward one another in the most positive way. Positivity has always been my approach in life and this easily facilitates that in the work place!
Cons: Nothing. It’s great….I really wouldn’t change a thing! I love that we can look up by school, by state, by person.

I love being able to interact and praise coworkers. Especially if they are not directly in my office. It's a wonderful tool to help keep everyone connected on what is happening in the company, who does what, who is moving up, who learned what. What teams and entities are up too. etc.
Pros: The ability to praise coworkers work ethic, progress, accomplishments, awards or for simply learning something new.
Cons: I can't say that there is anything that I dislike about Motivosity. If I absolutely had to list something I would say not being able to view profile pics in a larger view.

When its works, its great. But its hard to depend on software I'm continuously having to email support about.
Pros: I like the idea of using a social media type platform for employee engagement. I also like how knowledgeable our account rep is about the SaaS the functionality.
Cons: Could be on the client side but a lot of the features seem to not work properly, and it takes a while for the support team to make fixes.
Jarel M. · People Operations Generalist · Hospital & Health Care · February 23, 2026
Absolutely love it! This is an easy way to keep your team morale up and give praise. I enjoy being a cheerleader for my teammates
Pros: It is a great way to give team recognition and individual recognition. There are no bugs I have ran across. Great value with lots of rewards.
Cons: Nothing. I love using motivosity. It is an extra boost for team and individual recognition. This is GREAT

It has been eye opening for me to see the kinds of things people recognize as something to thank someone for. The little things we do really matter to people. I personally have appreciated the little thank yous and I have heard several other express their joy over knowing they are appreciated!
Pros: The best part about Motivosity, which is probably obvious, is the ability to thank your coworkers, leaders, subordinates, those in dotted line relationships, etc. for a wide variety of things with or without the Bucks. It seems safe to use- as far getting gift cards it seemed really secure. I had no issues.
Cons: I feel like Motivosity is set up in a familiar social media way so it was easy to navigate and use I think. But the challenge really is getting people to use it. I mean some people just don't do social media or don't understand it. I am sure the worst part for me is really not having a lot of Bucks to give to my team. I understand that is more of a company budget thing but I am really overall happy with it.

When I heard from our HR team that we'd be rolling out Motivosity, I had some serious doubts about it. The idea of thanking coworkers with a $1 "tip" here and there seemed gimmicky at best and borderline insulting at worse. However, after using it for over 2 years, I'm happy to admit I was wrong. They've somehow built a platform that doesn't feel weird to use at all, and actually succeeds in remind you to give thanks. (My own rewards have basically funded my casual video game habit as well.)
Pros: Motivosity helps remind me to pause and take time to thank and recognize people on my team (and other teams) for going above and beyond. The rewards system is a clever way of gamifying recognition too.
Cons: I'd have to get very nit-picky to identify any true cons with the platform, but I do wish there were more creative options for attachments when making a post. You're essentially limited to the stock GIF search it provides, which is typically lacking in options. You can bring in your own file attachments instead, but that's extra work for something that should be quick.

I love the reminders, the ability to recognize anyone in my organization and the data it provides when I review who I recognized and how long ago. I love it!
Pros: I absolutely love the ability to recognize my peers across a very large matrix organization using Motivosity.
Cons: Initially, it was challenging to understand each function because I am not an intuitive tech user, but I was able to figure it out quickly.
Anonymous User · Associate Dean · Higher Education · January 4, 2026
I like to connect with my colleagues, and it's also a good opportunity to remember birthdays, anniversaries and give find information regarding their jobs.
Pros: Platform works very good and interface is very nice. It is easy to connect with people and navigate.
Cons: I noticed that my password doesn't work all the times even when it's not expired so I always use the one-time code to login.
Maria G. · Lead Specialist · Information Technology and Services · October 31, 2025
I love using it to show appreciation to the Firm team members. The ability to see other appreciations gives the opportunity to add to these recognitions and enhance a a team building culture in the Firm. Thanks for this amazing platform.
Pros: I love the platform and the opportunity it provides to give recognition to team members. It's very simple to use, so the learning curve to use it very small. The rewards scheme is very simple to use and onboard new rewards to the catalog. Thank you, this is an amazing platform to foster organizational culture!
Cons: At times it is difficult to sign in, using the "one-time codes". I've had some experiences in which the codes are not sent promptly.

I think the overall experience is great. I feel incentivized and motivated to hustle for the appreciation and rewards
Pros: What I love about this app is an easy way to say thanks and recognize our team. very easy to use and fun reward options
Cons: I wish there were more options and prompts for recognition. It would help if there's quick prompts such as "Speedy service" "Work environment" etc
POORVI S. · SALES DEVELOPMENT REPRESENTATIVE · Information Technology and Services · October 23, 2025
Great experience, use it as much as I can for team recognition. I have been able to cash out my rewards without any issue and to be fair, its good value for money.
Pros: Rewards and intuitive use. Fairly simple to navigate, just like social media which is great. Security as far as I know hasn't been an issue.
Cons: Personalization updates. Throughout your career things evolve and so one does. We should be able to easily update our personal information not only on textually but our profile customization as well. Also, every few weeks I'm asked to reenter my login info which I don't always have on me, so I have to reset my password every time. MFA would be a great option here.

This has been a huge driver of recognition for us, and a big push when we needed it for end-of-month or quarter pushes towards goals.
Pros: Ease of use and a wide variety of giving options make the process simple, inclusive, and accessible for everyone, encouraging more meaningful engagement and sustained participation.
Cons: Nothing needs to be changed; it’s simple, efficient, and works exactly as intended, providing a smooth and reliable experience without unnecessary complexity.

It provides an effective and security way for employees to acknowledge each other's contributions, fostering a sense of community and teamwork. The
Pros: Motivosity allows me to recognize and learning each other’s efforts and achievements directly, fostering a culture of appreciation and gratitude across all levels of my company. Motivosity offers great value for money
Cons: The use of the credit card generated from the platform is not available for some regions. If I create a gift card with a specific amount, I cannot add more money later. The remaining balance is lost.

I really enjoy using motivosity, it is a positive way of acknowledging our coworkers . It makes work more enjoyable when we get recognized or recognized someone.
Pros: what I like the most about motivosity is the fact that we get to show appreciation to our team members.
Cons: Having to pay taxes when we use the bucks in motivisity. I wish there was another way of spending the bucks we get and not have to pay taxes.
Flor E. · Escrow specialist · Real Estate · October 21, 2025
My experience has been great! I've been a user for a few years and I've seen the evolution from this tool. Also, the goal is amazing, I love that we can help each other keep motivated at work by recognizing others.
Pros: I love the way that folks can demonstrate gratitude to others! It's refreshing and also motivates everybody to continue collaborating and giving their best self to work.
Cons: Sometimes the login process is cumbersome, but I see you have made changes so that is great! I appreciate you continue improving the platform.
Ana Carolina V. · Sr. BA · Telecommunications · October 21, 2025
I love it, looks great, easy to use, and easy to integrate with other apps, like Slack. We love using it to communicate each others achievements.
Pros: I love that it's simple and entertaining to use! Motivosity represents a simple feature in a not overcomplicated shell. Love that you can recognise more than one person at the time, an entire team, and not only with money, because that's not all that matters. I love the public and private mode too!
Cons: Recognition categories are not always applicable, but luckily you don't have to use them every time.
Peter K. · Program Manager · Information Technology and Services · October 2, 2025
The platform is generally easy to navigate and user-friendly, which I appreciate. However, I believe there’s room for improvement in a few areas that could enhance the overall experience. Streamlining certain features and addressing minor usability issues would make it even more effective
Pros: Writing an appreciation is simple, but meaningful. Giving Rezbucks to those who truly deserve it is more than just a thank-you—it’s a way to recognize the effort, attitude, and impact they bring to the team. It’s a small gesture that goes a long way in showing people they’re seen and valued.
Cons: The filter settings keep resetting, causing me to lose the feed of my team. It’s frustrating to have to manually reapply the filter every time I log in. Additionally, I’d really appreciate email notifications when someone comments on or likes a post. Currently, I have to log into Motivosity and search for the post just to see if there’s been any activity, which feels inefficient. These improvements would make the platform much more user-friendly and help ensure better engagement across the team.
Brenda D. · Manager · Financial Services · September 25, 2025
Pros: Motivosity is a great platform for recognizing coworkers and sharing positivity with Moto Bucks. The sign-in process is smooth and user-friendly. For improvement,Overall, it provides strong value for building team culture.-Telesha
Cons: Motivosity is helpful overall, but sometimes it feels a bit repetitive and not everyone engages with it. Adding fresh prompts or new reward ideas could keep it more exciting and encourage participation
Telesha W. · Employee · Insurance · September 25, 2025
Overall my experience with Motivosity has been a positive one. I like the points, the store, and the ability to give awards. The reward system in Motivosity it really well done.
Pros: I do like the ability to be able to track coachings, conversations, and appreciations. Also being able to sync my calendar with Motivosity has helped out alot. I do like the points and the store.
Cons: I don't like that if I cancel a reoccurring meeting because it needs to be moved that I have the possibility of losing all of my previous coachings. I also wish there was a way to ping or remind staff to enter feedback after a coaching.
Maria R. · Associate Director of Admissions · Higher Education · September 24, 2025
We have been using motiviosity for at least 5 years now. Every year we evaluate if we will continue and the answer is always yes. It allows that team and individual recognition by all staff, not just managers. Helps our staff to remain connected to other departments and their efforts/accomplishments
Pros: Ease of use is probably the best feature of motivosity. It allows all our employees to participate in team recognition.
Cons: I wish I could give motivosity bucks when commenting on a post privately. From an admin side it is hard, or used to be, to reset the funding password to make changes to the funding account.
