It has been easy to set up and easy to use since day one. I have had no issues with it at all. Period.
Pros: SFTP To Go was super easy to set up and use right out of the gate. I had not used other SFTP products before.
Cons: There is nothing that I would change about using SFTP To Go. It has worked flawlessly since setting it up.

Pros: The security is very good with multifactor authentication. Also the ease of creating logins for schools to submit necessary student data. Also the price isn't bad.
Cons: You can't send a web portal link to schools to transfer their data unless you pay for the higher tier. Other than that no complaints!

Pros: Very easy to use, low learning time. Product comes in a much lower price point than competition. Would recommend.
Cons: I can't think of anything that we didn't like about the product. At 1st we were concerned a little since it was cheaper than competition however those concerns were quickly proven false as it does everything we asked.

Pros: SFTP To Go made it simple to securely connect and retrieve files from a remote server without dealing with complex configuration. The platform has a straightforward, user-friendly interface, and I liked how quickly I was able to create credentials and start using my SFTP endpoint.
Cons: The dashboard could provide more detailed analytics to give users better visibility into their activity and performance. It is an optional enhancement, not a critical requirement.
Raj S. · Data Scientist · Computer Software · February 19, 2026
Pros: Easy to navigate app. Great support - I couldn't set a retention policy and I got a resolution within minutes via the chat.
Cons: Retention policy related info can't be found in the support/docs sections. Otherwise no major complains.

good support for dumb quesitons and quick setup and now i have an sftp point for several of my services!
Pros: The ease of use in the setup, and not having do have a server and port the instance out to our domain
Cons: nothing i can think of, it does what i wanted it to do. i guess because it isn't free, but my expectations were set when i started and they did what i needed

Meeting with the sales team and the support from the support team combined really gave us a great experience and will continue to do business.
Pros: I love the scalability of the service and the affordability of the services. The support is also very good.
Cons: Honestly the only thing to complain about is it took a little to get the billing straightened out. Other than that all good.
Joseph T. · Director of Information Technology · Consumer Goods · January 27, 2026
Pros: it's a super easy cloud based SFTP server, built on buckets that are also accessible programatically, and webhook integration to aid in automation.
Cons: I think it's just extending features that already exist - extended history for webhook deliveries, better searching/filtering for failures, etc.

Overall, SFTP To Go has been an excellent solution for our needs and a product we genuinely enjoy using. The platform delivers strong value, reliability, and performance, and despite minor administrative quirks, it consistently does what we need it to do. Most importantly, the support team is outstanding—helpful, knowledgeable, and quick to respond—making the overall experience extremely positive and easy to recommend.
Pros: SFTP To Go provides excellent value for the cost and is extremely easy to set up and use, even with minimal configuration. Storage capacity has never been an issue for our needs, and the service has been consistently reliable. Their support team is responsive and helpful, making the overall experience very positive.
Cons: The main drawback is administration, as some configuration options are confusing or not particularly useful in practice. The management interface can be difficult to navigate at times, which makes routine tasks take longer than expected. Additionally, email notification rules do not always function consistently, requiring manual verification instead of relying fully on alerts.

Pros: Best thing about SFTPToGo is reliability of its UI and back-end. Very rarely faced some issues (and that due to some network glitch). Otherwise, everything is good!
Cons: Cost is bit high while comparing to the other competitors which are providing similar features. Otherwise I don't see any other negative point in SFTPToGo's services.
Nayan C. · DevOps Engineer · Logistics and Supply Chain · January 22, 2026
SFTP To Go was easy to set up, and meets all of our needs. This is my go to SFTP server as a service.
Pros: I love the webhooks feature, and the ability to provision access credentials for specific subdirectories.
Cons: There really isn't anything I dislike about SFTP To Go. It is easy to set up, affordable, integrates cleanly with Heroku, and meets all of my needs.
David K. · Director of Technology · Renewables & Environment · January 20, 2026
As I said before, SFTP to go is a secure SAAS software, who gaves us the posibility to scale in volume of transactions, without an increase of price.
Pros: It is very useful to our company, because we need security and availability for a good price and easy use.
Cons: We need the SAAS in Spanish. We are from Chile and some collaborators doesn't manage the English language.
Felipe A. · Finance Manager · Insurance · January 20, 2026
Pros: Its very easy to handle and clear despite it being a bit more of a technical product. Setting people up was easy.
Cons: I haven't had any major concerns using SFTP to go outside of things that were user error which were largely easy to solve.
Kyle C. · Agent · Information Technology and Services · January 20, 2026
Pros: very easy to set up, use, and share with all of our partners we need to share files with. setup and starting to use the product took less than a day to be fully integrated
Cons: no support for a pricing tier for small usage with only 1 or 2 credentials while expanding business to more partners
Ryan M. · Software engineer · Financial Services · January 19, 2026
Overall the positives greatly outweigh the negatives. SFTP To Go is the best SFTP environment that I have ever used.
Pros: Ease of use was huge, prior to using SFTP To Go we needed to have an entire IT team help set up SFTP folders for us. We would have to request the IT team update things such as folder names, new folders, deleting folders, but now that we use SFTP To Go I can handle all of those things myself!
Cons: The one thing that gets on my nerves about SFTP To Go is that there is no way to sort the files within the folders of the SFTP. We utilize the SFTP for pharmaceutical claims, and I grab the new document each week, but there is not way to sort newest document to oldest or anything like that, which makes finding each document a little trickier.
Isaac C. · Enterprise Business Analyst · Pharmaceuticals · January 16, 2026
My overall experience has been great. It has saved the money an immense amount of time so I don't have to upload orders.
Pros: It was quick to set up and easy to on board the staff. We also were able to get our clients adapted to it quickly as well.
Cons: I personally had a difficult time understanding how to read some of the legal documentation in the terms and conditions.
Chris B. · Quality Assurance · Food Production · January 15, 2026
Pros: SFTP To Go was straightforward to set up and easy to use. The platform allows customization, such as adding a company logo, which helps align it with organizational branding. It provides the necessary features for secure file transfers, including upload permissions for recipients and configurable link expiration dates. Other options available within the portal include downloading, renaming, duplicating, copying, moving, and deleting folders.
Cons: The main aspect I liked least about SFTP To Go is the pricing. While the platform itself is reliable, easy to use, and quick to set up, the cost feels a bit high for the features provided. For smaller teams with limited storage and transfer needs, the pricing can be manageable, but it becomes more difficult to justify as storage, users, or data transfer requirements increase.
Lindsay H. · IT Support Technician · Machinery · January 15, 2026
Overall SFTP to Go feel like a good fit for our organization. It is easy to use so simple to train our users on and provide support.
Pros: UI is clean and simple to use. The price is reasonable for the amount of features provided. I have also found Crazy Ant Labs great to work with during implementation.
Cons: Because the platform feels relatively new some features are still a little lacking but nothing overly glaring.
Nick B. · Systems Analyst · Machinery · January 15, 2026
A great product, works always (Except when AWS had an outage). It is easy to use and support is great (we did not need it )
Pros: The ease of use, just create a new credential and we have a new customer setup. Also changing password or things is really easy.
Cons: the pricing model. When we started we only had one customer for it. So we paid the full amount and used only 1/20 part of the product.
Frank B. · Owner · Computer Software · January 15, 2026
Our experience with SFTP To Go has been consistently positive. The platform is highly intuitive, requiring minimal administrative oversight while providing a robust and secure infrastructure for our data transfers. Its stability has made it a dependable part of our daily operations.
Pros: What stands out most is how SFTP To Go hosts a secure, compliance-ready environment (supporting GDPR and HIPAA) without any infrastructure overhead. The platform is exceptionally reliable due to its AWS-based architecture, and being a SaaS solution, it is essentially zero-maintenance for our team.
Cons: While the platform is highly functional, the user interface feels somewhat legacy-focused and would benefit from a more modern, streamlined design to enhance the overall user experience.
Nick F. · IT Systems Administrator · Internet · January 14, 2026
We've been using SFTP To Go for a little over a year to support file-based integrations with a variety of applications that we use to good success. These exchanges run multiple times daily and the product has worked flawlessly. Compatibility hasn't been an issue, unlike another product that we tried. Overall I find it a good product at a good price.
Pros: It's very easy to use. We purchased it, set it up, and began using it all in the same afternoon. The interface is intuitive, if a little dated looking.
Cons: The documentation was a little unclear in certain areas. But a quick email to their support team (who responded quickly) cleared up my questions and got us on track.
Anonymous User · IT Director · Hospital & Health Care · January 14, 2026
My likelihood to recommend it is 9 out of 10. You don't have to setup your own server which is a boon.
Pros: I use SFTP To Go for securely sharing files with clients without needing to host our server and providing web downloads. I appreciate the ease of setting up new accounts and creating unique credentials as needed..
Cons: However, I suggest making account setup testing easier. Whitelist global rules interacting w/ account rules was tricky. UI feels a little dated
Mike F. · Sr Dev of Customer Defined Success · Accounting · January 14, 2026
Very smooth onboarding, great support and overall easy to set up. Our clients like it as well so thats a plus.
Pros: Its very easy to use. I like that I can create separate folders for each client and then track what is coming in.
Cons: Not the cheapest but if you want a solution that is enterprise ready, this will definitely get you what you need.
Joe T. · CEO · Banking · January 13, 2026
I've had a very positive experience and it's been a great addition to our extension stack. I can generate links quickly and maintain an organized interface to ensure my most sensitive documents remain accessible.
Pros: It's very easy to use regardless of technical aptitude and I've never had a client complain about difficulty accessing or operating the platform. It makes it easy to share and access sensitive documents across siloes without sending them out over the airwaves. You're able to limit access with internal teams as well to eliminate the risk of deleting, editing etc.
Cons: At times I ran into an error that the link had expired, despite being set to not expire. I worked around this by setting the access limit to 500,000 and haven't since had issues.
Garey S. · Customer Success Manager · Health, Wellness and Fitness · January 13, 2026
The experience is very good and we are considering going up and scale up the service for other services of the platform.
Pros: Ease to use and very good support and 24/7 because we are in Argentina and the company is in Israel.
Cons: They solve all the automatic clear of the files they take care of the program at no extra cost and included in the plan.
