Overall StandardFusion is powerful and user friendly. The GRC platform simplifies complex compliance processes tremendously.
Pros: StandardFusion has proven to really be an all in one GRC management lifesaver. It’s ease of use is outstanding and it does a great job centralizing management tasks.
Cons: Although StandardFusion is flexible some of my staff has noticed it has required some setup and customization to fully meet our business needs.

My overall experience with StandardFusion has been very positive. The platform provides a clear, organized structure for managing GRC activities, which has significantly simplified how we track risks, controls, and compliance requirements. It’s intuitive enough for day-to-day use while still offering robust features that support more complex workflows. The centralized risk register has been especially valuable, giving us a reliable way to document risks, assign ownership, and monitor mitigation progress over time.
Pros: What I like most about StandardFusion is how intuitive and well-structured the platform is for managing GRC processes. The interface makes it easy to centralize risks, controls, assessments, and evidence, and the workflows are straightforward enough that both technical and non-technical users can adopt them quickly. I also appreciate how seamlessly the tool maps controls across multiple frameworks, reducing duplicated work and helping maintain consistency.

Cons: One area that could be improved in StandardFusion is the overall flexibility of customization. While the platform is powerful, some configuration options—such as tailoring workflows, customizing fields, or adjusting report formats—can feel limited or require workarounds

I am using Standard Fusion to manage ISO27001 compliance and Vendor Management, and it helped me to get rid of word and excel files and manage the framework with efficiency
Pros: I like the options of customization in all modules of Security Governance and compliance. Standard Fusion covers everything, from policy management to Risk Management and vendor management
Cons: In some cases it was difficult to find some buttons and apply some filters but Standard Fusion support resolved it

My overall experience with StandardFusion has been positive. The platform has significantly streamlined our governance, risk, and compliance efforts, providing better visibility and control over our processes. Despite a few minor usability challenges, the system delivers strong value and continues to improve with regular updates and feature enhancements.
Pros: StandardFusion offers a clean and intuitive interface that simplifies complex GRC processes. The ability to centralize compliance frameworks, risk assessments, and audit management in one place has been a huge time-saver. I particularly appreciated the flexibility of the platform and how easy it was to configure workflows and reports to fit our organization’s specific needs. The customer support team is also highly responsive and knowledgeable.
Cons: While the core functionality is strong, there are occasional performance issues when dealing with large data sets, particularly during bulk operations or complex queries. Additionally, the initial onboarding and configuration process can be somewhat overwhelming for new users without prior GRC tool experience, though documentation and support do help bridge the gap.

I have been using Standard Fusion for 1 year now and I find it easy to use, it has helped me to manage third party risk management, as well as other GRC tasks
Pros: I really like the tool's flexibility to define your own assets, policies, vendors and compliance programs.
Cons: Standard Fusion can improve it's UX design to make it look more intuitive and modern. Also AI capabilities can be implemented to generate policies, suggest controls,...

StandardFusion is a great tool for managing Security and Governance program policies and is extremely helpful to provide evidence during an audit. It's easy to use and provides support for the frameworks we utilize.
Pros: StandardFusion has a clean GUI that’s easy to navigate which has helped lower the learning curve and improve adoption across our teams. StandardFusion supports a wide range of standards and frameworks and allows us to map controls across multiple frameworks. It has helped streamline our organization to bring risk, compliance, audit, and policy management into a single platform.
Cons: There are limited integrations with our third party tools which makes automation a little more manual. Overall the reporting capabilities are good but still kind of basic.
Mike U. · Director of Information Security · Legal Services · July 10, 2025
i have more than 3 year using standard fusion, where we manage our entire information security program, including our policies, controls, risk and some others topics .
Pros: to have the same look in all the interfaces, so we never get lost in the website, even if you are in the risk seccion, or in the controls session you are going to have the same appereance.
Cons: we would like to standard fusion to be more flexible, regarding the options for example if we want to add another seccion, we would like to be able to do it.
Argelis H. · Information security Analyst · Logistics and Supply Chain · July 10, 2025
It is clunky and a little overpriced for what it does. That said the reporting feature does a really good job of showing progress, provided you've fully understood what you are trying to do in the instance.
Pros: The flexibility to bring a variety of standards. SF has a lot of room for customization and gives you the ability to build the GRC program to work in the way you want it.
Cons: The downside to this kind of flexibility is it doesn't roadmap your GRC program very well. Sometimes you want a tool to tell you what comes next instead of asking what is next at every turn.

The team we work with is incredibly responsive and the tool continues to improve.
Pros: We are now leveraging the ISO27001 integration and capturing company respondes.
Cons: It is very difficult to create and track recurring tasks.
Rachael R. · Director of Service Delivery · Financial Services · April 3, 2025
Pros: Easy navigation and the support team is very prompt with the resolution.
Cons: When we onboarded the solution, it was still improving and offered some out-of-the-box compliance framework integrations. However, since most of our requirements were custom, implementing it took longer than expected, ultimately undermining its long-term value.
Amit G. · Analyst · Entertainment · October 7, 2024
Good value and great future. Easy to set up and customize
Pros: Customization to meet our goals for security frameworks
Cons: Needs GUI overhaul which I believe is on its way
Edward B. · VP And CISO · Financial Services · May 8, 2024
Overall, the experience is very satisfactory
Pros: The tracking and logging of audit items and monitoring and assignment of tasks capabilities as well as risk assessment capabilities, customer support.
Cons: There were a few minor kinks which were ironed out in quick time.
Zahvelisia C. · Auditor · Financial Services · May 3, 2024
StandardFusion is very powerful and flexible so allow time for the decisions required to best make use of its features and structure.
Pros: Excellent support and great guidance during implementation. Good import export tools to get your xls based risks, vendors etc quickly populated. Excellent libraries of standards controls and threats.
Cons: Help documentation can be a little brief, possibly due to the wide customisability, but excellent support compensated for this.
Sean O. · IT Security Manager · Hospital & Health Care · May 2, 2024
Pros: The customer support from the StandardFusion team was exception. Our engineer had helped assist on a weekly basis during our implementation phase. We are also able to reach out with any questions and hop on a call either that day, or the next to discuss any questions we have.
Cons: It appears that some of the areas are a bit convoluted with duplicate data being included. However, we are currently in the process of refining how we are completing our uploads, so we are working on alterative ideas that fits our process. The Standard Fusion team was extremely quick to answer our questions, and hop on a call to further expand on solutions.

So far so good still in the planning stage
Pros: I like the uniformity of the tasks and being able to separate from others to create easier process workflow
Cons: I haven't gotten that far yet. we are still in the planning stage
Jacob R. · IT Sec Analyst · Financial Services · April 26, 2024
Pros: Standard Fusion team is very accommodating, friendly yet professional. The software is very easy to navigate and have many of wonderful features.
Cons: It would be nice if certain features were add-ons instead having to upgrade to another package when you only want a specific feature.
Bethia P. · Internal Audit Assistant · Banking · April 26, 2024
Overall, the product provides a good platform for managing the risk assessment and compliance to the regulations. There are things that could be fine tuned, but overall, we are satisfied.
Pros: I really enjoyed the level of support. The support team goes an extra mile to accommodate the needs
Cons: Not sure. The overall length oof the implementation of the product have gone far beyond the projected date. It is not entirely the fault of the StandardFusion, but the changing regulations.
Sergey R. · Information Security Engineer · Airlines/Aviation · April 26, 2024
Pros: The ease of use and ability to automate governance processes
Cons: The initial setup two years ago took longer then we would have expected
Chris M. · VP - IT Operations and Security · Financial Services · March 4, 2024
I've had an extremely positive experience with this tool. Its intuitive user interface provides a wealth of valuable information, and the comprehensive package it offers is notably devoid of any significant drawbacks
Pros: Dashboard and Interface are so easy to access.
Cons: This tool encompasses a comprehensive package, and I have not encountered any significant drawbacks.

StandardFusion has allowed our compliance department to grow in its effectiveness and relevance within our organization. The StandardFusion support team are always responsive and eager to help solve our problems and needs quickly.
Pros: StandardFusion has allowed our compliance team to consolidate all relevant information to track ourselves against external and internal compliance standards. I'm particularly fond of the feature to connect various items across the platform, from policies & procedures, to vendors, to audit requirements, to assets, to risks, and so on. We can comment and record and tweak almost anything to our specifications. This ease of use allows for quick reference when juggling multiple compliance initiatives at once, and has helped keep us from multiplying efforts. We've also had great success with its customizable fields and workflows. StandardFusion has become our third party vendor database, our regulatory requirement tracker, and our risk assessment tool and as a result, our small team is able to do the work of a larger team with ease.
Cons: Using StandardFusion as an internal-use, records keeping, requirement tracking tool has been fantastic. Using it as an outward-facing tool has been challenging. Notifications for tasks and questionnaires work most of the time, but are limited in their customizability and therefore often get missed or ignored by the recipients unless they're prepared ahead of time to expect something. Meanwhile, limiting internal notifications and reminders continues to be a challenge because the choices seem to be "too many notifications" or "no notifications." The StandardFusion team has worked on improving this and it's better than it was, but far from ideal still, and as a result some of our lighter users tend to drift away from keeping up with their responsibilities within the tool.
Braden B. · Compliance Program Manager · E-Learning · February 16, 2024
So far our experience with StandardFusion is overall good. The team is very committed for a smooth implementation and if they keep up with this engagement and can implement all the required and desired functionalities, we are looking forward to the cooperation with StandardFusion.
Pros: The UI is in general modern and clean. The tool offers a wide variety of capabilities (e.g. Audit management, Risk management, Task management, Vendor management). The StandardFusion team is very engaged and helpful and they are open-minded towards feedback and suggestions for improvement.
Cons: There are basic functionalities that are missing (e.g. selecting multiple filters) and have to be incorporated with future releases which shows the commitment of the team, but still it is not ideal. The use of the tool is sometimes not very intuitive which is not ideal for occasional users. If you are a frequent user, you get to know the tool after some time.
Janek S. · Head of Audit · Computer Software · February 9, 2024
Pros: Ease of use, flexible and customizable to the needs of our team
Cons: Presentation of the platform isn't as sleek as other tools
Anonymous User · Director, Audit and Compliance · Accounting · December 5, 2023
Really good
Pros: The features are easy to use and navigate around
Cons: Inability to create reports or have reports that can easily be used in Excel
Susan M. · Compliance Analyst · Financial Services · September 19, 2023
We have a one-stop shop for our governance, risk, and compliance record keeping, that's easy to use and for a good price.
Pros: The product is easy to use and easy to get started. The interface is clean and friendly and customer support is there to help you every step of the way.
Cons: There are minor complaints about editing documents inside the product, but for us it has never been an issue. Standard Fusion is always updating and adding new features.
Nathan B. · IT Director of Infrastructure · Financial Services · July 25, 2023
Very positive - this is a great team to work with and an excellent product, built by users to satisfy a previously unmet need in the market.
Pros: Important components are all included; no need to buy several separate, high priced modules in order to get the functionality required.
Cons: Requires a bit of hands on support to set-up, but so do all systems. In this case, the support provided was included at no extra charge and excellent.
