My experience with HR Hero has been excellent. From keeping abreast of changes in state and federal regulations to being able to gather enough information to train managers and staff.
Pros: The Ease of Use and the Value of HR Hero are fantastic. The ability to compare federal regulations with each state regulation is very important for companies that operate in multiple, if not all, states.
Cons: I can't think of anything at the moment. The platform is pretty self-explanatory. So I really have nothing else to say.

We’ve had an overall very positive experience with HR Hero. The platform provides a comprehensive set of tools and resources that make it much easier to manage HR responsibilities across multiple states. In particular, the ability to access up-to-date, state-specific guidance and handbooks has been incredibly valuable in helping us stay compliant and consistent in our practices. The content is practical, well-structured, and easy to apply to real-world situations, which has saved our team significant time and effort. While there are occasional minor performance lags when navigating between screens, they have not outweighed the overall benefits. HR Hero has proven to be a reliable and efficient resource that supports our day-to-day HR operations.
Pros: One of the most valuable features is the ability to remotely access state-specific handbooks for all the states in which we operate—it’s been an incredible time-saver.

Recent platform updates have made it easier to use than the previous iteration. I have been most satisfied with the exemption report tool as well as the support from employment lawyers on getting tough questions answered.
Pros: HR Hero is the most comprehensive and updated HR compliance source that I have found. While it is expensive for my small business, it is so valuable! The compliance advice is extremely detailed, up-to-date, and the digests about what is changing and when is so helpful.
Cons: As a consultant that uses HR Hero in a way that most users probably don't utilize it, it is expensive for the way we use it (getting compliance updates, occasional exemption reports for workplaces) but I trust the source so much that I deal with the cost.

Pros: If I can't find it on HR Hero then it doesn't exist. A quick search results in me finding the item i need.
Cons: When the page is updated, it takes me a few minutes to re-orient myself. There are times when I will spend more time than I want. but it's ok. I probably went down a rabbit hole.

I have used the job descriptions, legal guidance and much more. the value it truly great for everything that is available.
Pros: This is a great value for the money. It is very easy to use, and I find the information being provided is easy to understand and very helpful
Cons: I do not have any concerns with the system or how it functions. I would highly recommend to other HR professionals.

One standout feature is the ability to access handbooks tailored to each of the 22 states we operate in remotely—an absolute lifesaver. Looking forward to exploring more of what it offers!
Pros: Love the Handbook Builder. Also love the timely compliance updates. The recent enhancement has made a noticeable difference—finding topics is now much more intuitive and efficient compared to before.
Cons: No complaints at all—the new enhancements have truly improved the experience. What used to be a bit cumbersome is now streamlined and intuitive, making it much easier to find the topics I need.

Excellent product, excellent value and we have a great Customer Service Experience Manager. We've used BLR for over 30 years and won't switch anytime soon!
Pros: Excellent job staying ahead of the ever changing local, state & federal legal landscape. Allows us to share the information with our leaders and have a plan for implementation.
Cons: I'm sure there is more I could take advantage of - very comprehensive product. I wish when you clicked on links, they all went directly to the documents.

Its been great so far! Still exploring the product of course, however so far so good. Have not had any issues arise so far.
Pros: Ease of use and interface, easily accessible and easy to use overall - really enjoy the UX and overall flow of the system.
Cons: Could have more policies, instead of guidance documents. Wish those could be tailored to your industry/company.

It is very good. I can quickly adjust my handbook and get it to the employees quickly.
Pros: HR Hero is up to date with current state requirements and the latest language for our policies.
Cons: Editing is a bit cumbersome. Adding tables takes a little extra time.

I've loved HR Hero and the Handbook Builder functionality from BLR!
Pros: Being able to look up topics and view federal and state laws side-by-side is immensely helpful!
Cons: The overall view is a bit antiquated and it can be difficult to find what you're looking for on occasion, but nothing prohibitive.

It has been easy to use and refer to.
Pros: This is a very helpful tool for myself and the managers to use. It allows me to stay up to date with the federal labor laws in the three states we operate in, use the handbook builder, research employee issues, and deliver great trainings to our teams.
Cons: I wish there was a more cost effective way to use the handbook builder for multiple sates.

Pros: EHS Hero has made our jobs so much easier! We really enjoy and use the program for use in our compliance programs and other areas we have questions about and need more information.
Cons: There is nothing that we have not been happy with this program.

Pros: HR Hero is like having an HR compliance guru in your pocket. It is a valuable resource, with comprehensive templates, articles and sample policies, all of which are customizable. The Handbook builder is intuitive and easy to use. We also subscribe to their Employment Law Letter for our state, and it is invaluable and a great tool to use to train supervisors!
Cons: I cannot think of anything! It is easy to use and has the information we need. I just love that it alerts us when a law has changed and our policy might need updating.

I still feel that this purchase was an excellent choice and can be used by the majority of our team on a regular basis..
Pros: This is a one stop shop for HR Materials that are recent and relevant. It is saving me time and money (indirectly) by being able to access materials I need to run my business.
Cons: It wasn't as easy to use the Employee Handbook template as I thought it would be because we had already captured some information. I had expected something a bit more user friendly with the transfer of data to and from this feature. The formatting was helpful, but to engage the team in content review, the back and forth with this feature was actually a bit time consuming. It also took a few tries for the team members to get access to the tools. I believe we are still working on one addition.

Really wonderful service that allows on demand access to all policies for our employees.
Pros: Managing state compliance and policy updates is made very simple by the system and allows us to have confidence that our policies are up to date.
Cons: I would love to be able to log prior versions of policies in the system for audit purposes but the easy work around is to download a dated version after every update.

Pros: Meets all compliance…allows for easy updates. Also allows for ease of use with employees.
Cons: Not excited about the recurring cost just for yearly maintenance. You should have a cost for creating the product and another for maintaining the product. I am a small business and know many others and have recommended your product, all with the same response.

Cons: Most setup resource links are in prior revision and explanation details important for setting up the system are missing. This requires the phone calls and implementation teams to be more closely involved.
