positive. The platform effectively addresses the complexities of project management in the construction sector, offering tools that enhance communication and organization. The real-time updates and mobile accessibility have been particularly beneficial, allowing our team to stay connected and informed, regardless of location. While there are some areas for improvement, particularly regarding advanced features and customization, the overall efficiency and functionality make Fieldwire a valuable asset for managing construction projects.
Pros: •User-Friendly Interface: Fieldwire has a clean and intuitive interface that makes navigation easy, even for those who may not be tech-savvy. This design enhances productivity right from the start. •Robust Project Management Tools: The platform offers comprehensive features for task management, scheduling, and collaboration, making it ideal for construction teams. •Real-Time Updates: The ability to receive real-time updates keeps all team members informed and aligned, significantly reducing miscommunication. •Mobile Accessibility: Fieldwire’s mobile app is a game-changer, allowing teams to access project details on-site, which is crucial for construction environments. •Integration Capabilities: The software integrates well with other tools, streamlining workflows and enhancing overall efficiency.
Cons: •Learning Curve for Advanced Features: While the basic functionalities are straightforward, some of the more advanced features can have a steeper learning curve, requiring time to master. •Limited Customization Options: Users may find that the customization options for certain features are somewhat limited, which can be a drawback for teams with specific needs. •Pricing Structure: Although the value is generally high, some users might find the pricing tiers a bit steep, especially for smaller teams or projects.

Overall, my experience with Fieldwire has been very positive. It has significantly improved coordination between the field and office by keeping all project information, tasks, and drawings centralized and easily accessible. The platform is straightforward to use, which makes it easy to get teams up and running quickly without a steep learning curve. It has helped streamline communication, reduce back-and-forth, and keep projects moving efficiently, especially when managing multiple job sites. While there are some limitations in advanced features and occasional minor performance issues, they have not impacted overall productivity in a major way. In general, Fieldwire has proven to be a reliable and effective tool for day-to-day project management, particularly for field-focused operations.
Pros: What I like most about Fieldwire is how easy it is to manage field operations and keep everything organized in one place. The platform is very user-friendly, which makes it simple for both office and site teams to stay aligned without much training. From a value standpoint, it offers a solid return because it reduces miscommunication and saves time on coordination. Task assignment, plan viewing, and real-time updates help streamline project management, especially when handling multiple jobs or coordinating with different teams. Customer support has been responsive whenever needed, and the overall performance is reliable with minimal lag, even when working with drawings and updates in the field. Overall, Fieldwire stands out for its ease of use, efficient project tracking, and ability to improve communication between the field and office.
Cons: One of the main drawbacks is that some advanced features can feel limited, especially when managing more complex project workflows or detailed reporting. While the platform is great for day-to-day field coordination, it doesn’t always provide the level of customization or depth that larger projects may require. Additionally, syncing can occasionally be slow, particularly when working with large drawing files or in areas with weaker internet connectivity. There are also times when minor bugs or glitches appear, which can interrupt workflow, although they are not frequent. From a pricing standpoint, certain useful features are only available in higher-tier plans, which can add up depending on the size of the team. Overall, while Fieldwire is very effective for basic to mid-level project management, it could improve in advanced functionality, performance consistency, and pricing flexibility.

As a part of Project management team, we use this one a daily basis to make any changes to drawing and provide the feedback to the field guys. This put all on the same page. The whole project collaboration is based on this software considering it links everyone on the Project management team.
Pros: Fieldwire is best at: Creating markups on Plan, document management, assigning task, linking task to the drawing and also tracking a progress. Its real-time update features allow for smooth flow of Project.
Cons: It lags sometimes during revision on the drawings. For instance, let's say we have drawings of 100 pages, and we have to make change to page 59/100 and reupload it. While doing so, it takes a lot of time to reupload and make a revision. Personally, that has annoyed me the most.

Over all was a good experience. I would use it again and recomment it to others also. Go check it out
Pros: Great program that offers alot for a company such as courses, templates and much more. Great software.
Cons: There isnt really anthing i didint like per say apart from the layout of the program i found it could be better set up for finding what you need template wise.

Fieldwire reduced miscommunication and streamlined payroll processes, providing great value in managing construction sites.
Pros: Fieldwire helps us plan tasks and track time efficiently, keeping everyone in sync on projects and other things too.
Cons: Random bugs and slow loading affect workflow, although support usually corrects the issue in two days.

Been using it on-site to keep track of what’s done and what’s left. It’s way better than chasing people around or trying to remember stuff from last week.
Pros: The checklist feature really helps keep things moving. I pin drawings and notes, and it saves a lot of back-and-forth.
Cons: Still figuring out some of the features though. It’s not always super clear what does what, but I manage. Gets the job done.

Positive. We have been using it for over six years now, spread across 750 projects, growing daily across multiple disciplines.
Pros: Enables the team to work efficiently and record all actions required, giving clarity and accuracy for the client.
Cons: Limited integration with our job management systems creating admin heavy tasks, restricting efficiency .

Fieldwire is our go to tool for all of our projects. It provides us with accurate information from the field, and people on the field get information from us at the office, so for us is a very efficient communication tool.
Pros: What I liked the most about Fieldwire is the possibility to work as a team. Everyone is connected, and we are all able to see in real time what is going on in each project, from daily logs, to notes and marks on plans.
Cons: At the beginning, it was a little difficult to add another user to a determined project, but it was a matter of getting to know the software.

Excelente me encanta la app, la uso a diario
Pros: Facil de usar y configurar, podemos implementarlo y usar nuestros formularios sin problemas
Cons: nada , me parece una app muy completa , hasta puedes ver los 3D

It has been a great first year with Fieldwire. As with most new software we've tried, we were a bit skeptical if we would see the returns we were expecting on time, but so far we have been very impressed.
Pros: For an estimator, the document "Compare" feature is the most important. It allows me to capture all of the changes that the design team makes, even if they "forget" to mention it in their write-up.
Cons: Adjusting the scale and adjusting the drawing to overlay it correctly when a consultant offers only a small detail, and doesn't re-issue a complete drawing can be somewhat cumbersome.

I really enjoy using this program and will recommend it to all my follow roofers.
Pros: With over 300 roofs currently this program allows me to follow the status of all of them. Plus the ability to have my foreman's enter and update remotely enables to office to have a live updated on our current projects.
Cons: I didn't like not being about to run a report on all my projects vs only being able to run a report on task. Also I want to be able to rename the work task to HOUSES. I also don't like that you can move your side bar. Ex.... the list is Plans, Task, Photos, Form, Files, People. You can't adjust the order. Also with you are submitting a photo. You have to either take a photo or use one previously uploaded. You can't use a photo from your phone's storage and upload immediately.

I'm only in the free trial, but so far, out of all the software I have researched, it is the easiest and least expensive, comprehensive software for a small contractor like ours.
Pros: It makes communication between the office and field easy and manageable so my crew has only the latest documents in front of them.
Cons: It is missing a few features that interest me but they are supposedly in releases down the line.
Mauri H. · Project Engineer · Construction · July 20, 2022
Scheduling and remote project management solution with functional reporting capabilities and the collaboration is good.
Pros: Fieldwire allows project Managers to easily monitor field work progress within various construction projects and also report on field operations very easily and effective and also on project scheduling Fieldwire is incredible.
Cons: Never had much dislike from the software features and the implementation from the initial point was also quite easy.
Valarie V. · Project Director · Construction · September 8, 2021
Excellent source for drawing, and submittal control.
Pros: Integration very easy. Very userfriendly. It helped out in the field for drawings document control and submittals.
Cons: No good for bids or estimating. Software is very expensive when you have more than 5 users. RFIs cannot be created through the software.
Jonathan M. · Project Manager · Civil Engineering · June 24, 2021
Experience using this software as far as tracking purposes is very good.
Pros: Very good resource for tracking field production for completion for projects in a timely matter in order to keep clients happy.
Cons: The price for multiple accounts is starting to make me think about finding another resource. Getting a little expensive.
Marcellous W. · HR/ Fleet/ Safety Manager · Construction · June 3, 2021
I love not having to carry around rolls of drawings while on site visits.
Pros: This works quite well when on site and needing access to documentation while in the field. Easy to upload pdf files to it. I've used this for accessing drawing files while on site with the contractors and documenting items on punch lists. Intuitive to use and has enough tools to use for marking notes on drawings for reuse in the office. Started using on Ipad, when that died I was able to access it on the cloud on my laptop and now that's how I use it.
Cons: At this point I have not found any issues with the software.

Fieldwire is a great app and has help me with my business immensely, the support team have alway been there and have alway responded quickly. Great job guys.👍
Pros: Being a structural building inspector downloading plans from PDF into the drop box is great and quick and the ability to comment and hi light on the working drawings is what stirred me to this app.
Cons: The only thing I can say negative is when writing a comment on my report, the font size automatically go’s to size 16 which I find rather small. I generally use size 30 which is more ledgible.
Paul B. · Building inspector · Construction · November 19, 2020
Fieldwire is my go-to software for quickly looking up pages, or photos, or making plan notes, but it lacks basic quality of life features of other software.
Pros: Simple and easy to use, plans can be scrolled and zoomed in/out quickly, easily marked up, or scaled for distance estimates. Project pictures are easy to take and view.
Cons: No ability to sort your plan pages is very inconvenient, especially for larger projects, where It can take hours of going through and slowly renaming every page to start with 001 and up to be able to arrange the pages in any meaningful way, and even then it will be difficult for specific trades, for example if someone only wanted to see E sheets. Fieldwire also has no text search function, which is another basic feature of any other software I've used. These basic features seem like they have been overlooked by development in favor of adding additional payment tiers.
Patrick H. · Procurement · Construction · November 19, 2020
Pros: I really dont have information about IT stuff, but this software is reachable from every device and everywhere very fast. That is important. We are working in a 50FL tower which has no signal in its core, but anyways, when the tablet reaches a signal, all things done offline is sychronized for everybody at that sec. Which saves a lot of time and builds confidence
Cons: Improvements could be made by user, like open softwares, the menus may become much more editable.
Gokhan G. · Qa&Qc Engineer · Construction · November 18, 2020
Pros: I can do my job from everywhere without carrying hard drawings. I can find all site instructions and notes about my projects quickly.
Cons: I can't find something. Everything is so important and useful.
Lefteris P. · Site Engineer · Construction · November 18, 2020
Pros: Easy to work with. User friendly. Great interface
Cons: Not easy to create report. The functionality of them are only one way. The filter take forever to load
benjamin v. · Project manager · Construction · November 17, 2020
We use Fieldwire for reviewing drawings in the field, tagging issues, and creating reports for the contractors. With a few more customizations this tool will be ideal for us.
Pros: The best feature of Fieldwire is the drawing management and ease of access in the field. In addition, tagging issues in the field is seamless.
Cons: The most difficult thing to do in Fieldwire is to make handwritten notes or draw sketches on a plan using the pencil/drawing tool. The tool is extremely choppy. I typically make a pdf and import into another software for drawing or taking notes; however, I would prefer to make handwritten notes within the Fieldwire application.
Melissa M. · Architect · Architecture & Planning · November 17, 2020
It is like having a foreman on every job site right at your fingertips.
Pros: The ease of use and ability to keep up with everything. I love having the ability to keep up with multiple sites without having to visit them. Every crew is at my fingertips.
Cons: I have not really had any issues. Maybe a small glitch very seldomly but resolved quickly. This is a must-have for any job site big or small.
James S. · Owner · Construction · November 17, 2020
Very Usefull Tool
Pros: Easy to generate reports and keep tracking of construction process
Cons: Integration with Apple Pencil I have seen a better integration with other products form competition like Plangrid.
