ProjectTeam.com is a cloud-based construction management software platform built for owners, general contractors, and public agencies managing complex projects and capital programs. Where most tools handle pieces of construction management in isolation, ProjectTeam.com connects them. RFIs, submittals, drawings, contracts, cost events, and more are linked within a single environment. Every stakeholder works from the same record in real time, eliminating the delays and data gaps that disconnected tools create. The platform is no-code configurable, so teams can configure workflows, forms, and fields to match how they run projects. Role-based permissions and a full audit trail keep every action documented and accountable. Reporting and dashboards give teams live visibility into project and program performance across the full lifecycle. For organizations managing federal or government-funded construction, ProjectTeam.com is FedRAMP Authorized.

Pros: the customizations and ability to make changes quickly. Invenergy's ProjectTeam team is very helpful and quick to respond.
Cons: data export doesn't seem to be 100% accurate, still requires a lot of manual manipulation of data at times.

Overall, a useful tool in tracking of RFI's and submittals along with inspections and daily reports.
Pros: Good way to track all documentation all in one place. Overall easy to use and learn. Email notifications are helpful.
Cons: Redundancy of certain tasks i.e. submittal approval and signing, The way the submittal page always refreshes to beginning.

I have worked with ProjectTeam for 4 years now, they are good at listening to your needs to adjusting the platform. They also set up FedRAMP requirements, so if your in need of this function, they can give you that.

Pros: ProjectTeam offers some of the most extensive customization available for managing projects across an entire portfolio. Their customer support team is also highly responsive, quickly addressing email requests from both system administrators and individual users. The tools for organizing documentation access and receiving notifications are strong, and the platform continues to expand these capabilities.
Cons: The system occasionally requires work-arounds that add a few extra steps to certain processes, but overall it performs the necessary functions. I would like to see ProjectTeam further specialize in certain features, though this is mainly because our company uses multiple separate platforms for scheduling and cost management.

positive did not find to many items wrong with teams. very helpful as a project tool. was an overall positive experience
Pros: Easy to Navigate, helpful in getting project information and giving information, helpful in communications with coworkers

Timothy S. · Senior Inspector · Civil Engineering · December 3, 2025
Overall, my experience as a subcontractor to a client has been very good compared to other platforms utilized. The workflows and continuities between features makes it seamless to work through either
Pros: I enjoy that project forms can be linked to one another directly through references and workflows can be made it that make it easy for all team members to use.
Cons: When logging in, a prompt always pops up that asked if I’ve used the platform before. It would be nice to have an option to not show this again.
Ian S. · Design Coordinator · Construction · December 1, 2025
Pros: Very organized and visually appealing User Interface. Easy to find help if or when needed. The support is solid as well.
Cons: Possibly nitpicking here however sometimes the UI felt a little flashy. The initial learning curve was a bit challenging and took some time to get used to as well.
Fahim S. · Field Engineer · Construction · December 1, 2025
It has been overall good, but need to use it more to see all the functionality of it. It will take a little time to get to know it better.
Pros: Accessibility and Transparency of information. The site has a good layout and it easy to navigate and the ability to export information.
Cons: How people forget to tag groups/people on items. Might be user error on their end, but it would be nice if there was an easier way to make sure everyone sees all the information. I wish the email notifications had more information on what the responses are for RFI's/Submittals.
Mike F. · Regional Manager · Construction · November 26, 2025
Overall, ProjectTeam.com has proven to be an effective and reliable platform that meets our project management needs. The software provides valuable functionality and has positively contributed to our team's productivity and collaboration.
Pros: The platform's cloud-based accessibility allows me to access project information from any location with an internet connection, which significantly enhances my workflow flexibility and productivity.
Cons: The platform would benefit from offline access functionality for drawings and project documents, allowing users to view critical information without requiring an internet connection.
Jim H. · Vice President · Construction · November 26, 2025
Overall the platform is easy to use once you get the tutorial and once you set up the a project with your workflows
Pros: ProjectTeam was easy to understand and use once you get to see a tutorial. The workflow is great to save and keep record of your progress
Cons: It’s a bit complicated if you don’t have proper guidance but once you train for a bit it becomes easier to use. Forming the workflow and project schedule can be a bit confusing
Magdiel R. · Project manager · Construction · November 26, 2025
My overall experience with using Project Team was favorable. I think it was a very help tool in helping manage the project documents that all parties had access to in real time.
Pros: What I liked the most about Project Team was the way the webpage was designed. It makes navigation from page to page seamless.
Cons: I hard as a try to remember something that was not to my liking, I cannot. Whenever I have an issue, I reach our to our client and they resolved it for us right away as they were more familiar with Project Team than we were.
Manuel G. · Superintendent · Construction · November 25, 2025
Overall, I’ve had a positive experience with ProjectTeam. While some features were initially confusing, I found them highly useful once I learned how they work.
Pros: ProjectTeam is an intuitive platform with a user-friendly interface that makes creating packages simple and efficient. I especially appreciate the ability to see when others last viewed my items, which helps me prioritize follow-ups and keep projects on track.
Cons: One area for improvement is the lack of an interactive tutorial or onboarding guide. Adding this feature could help new users overcome the initial learning curve and get up to speed more quickly.
Rodrigo V. · Field Engineer · Construction · November 25, 2025
Overall, the experience has been good, the product has grown significantly in the three years I have been using it for.
Pros: Project Teams has a great user interface and is very customizable. It has helped us stream line our processes and keep organized in complex projects. Additionally the customer support has been great with the product adding features we have requested.
Cons: The product can have a bit of a learning curve and some features seem a bit “out of the loop” or don’t integrate with other features. For examples, work flows don’t integrate with meta data attached to forms,
Kevin G. · Project Engineer, Electrical Engineering · Electrical/Electronic Manufacturing · November 25, 2025
My overall experience using ProjectTeam has been overall a good one. I haven’t had any issues using the service.
Pros: I liked that it was a nice easy way to share project documents. I also liked that the program was smooth and easy to operate.
Cons: There isn’t much that I disliked about ProjectTeam.com. It’s a very effective program for people who are looking for a way to communicate during a project.
Joseph S. · Resident Project Representative · Civil Engineering · November 25, 2025
Pros: I like how easy it is to use. It makes coordination a breeze! I want all of the trade partners I work with to use this program.
Cons: I think it could be easier to share internal files to external people without giving them full access.
Tyler A. · Project Engineer · Construction · November 25, 2025
Very good. I have worked with other clients and never had this support or team work together. Very nice to know you have a strong team behind you when needed.
Pros: As a contractor the PT support group treats us with value and like family. I know at time we are knocking at your door everyday, but you answer with kindness and quick solutions and support, so I thank you for that.
Cons: I cannot say I do didn't like anything. There were so many people who would reach out when support was needed.
Oscar K. · HSE Manager · Construction · November 25, 2025
Pros: It is a great resource to store, modify, mark up and track documents, submittal and pictures for the project.
Cons: At times it is feels it’s a bit too comprehensive for the need but I think that comes down to have it is set up and utilized by the project team.
Rob S. · Environmental Compliance · Renewables & Environment · November 25, 2025
Good overall experience. Kept the project flowing and for the most part kept track of what court an item is in
Pros: It creates a great project roadmap and workflow tracking tool. There is plenty of capacity to store documents, pdf's files etc.
Cons: Once an RFI is closed it can't be reopened if new information becomes available. This makes multiple iterations of the same basis RFI.
Jared F. · General Superintendent · Construction · November 25, 2025
Overall, ProjectTeam.com has been a strong tool for managing construction documentation, RFIs, submittals, and daily reports. The customization capabilities and the ability to generate clean, detailed custom reports make it very effective for complex infrastructure projects with many stakeholders. It keeps everything centralized, consistent, and easy to track.
Pros: ProjectTeam.com offers excellent customization. I really like how easy it is to build custom forms, fields, and workflows tailored to each project’s needs. The custom reports are one of the best features — being able to pull exactly the data I need for weekly summaries, inspection logs, RFIs, and pay item tracking saves a lot of time. The platform keeps all project documents organized and accessible, and collaboration across multiple stakeholders is smooth.
Cons: Honestly, there is nothing I dislike about ProjectTeam.com. The platform meets all my needs and performs exactly as expected.
Muhammad K. · Office Engineer · Construction · November 25, 2025
Overall positive. If the sharing was more intuitive it would work better, and some other forms of automation.
Pros: Having a storehouse for a variety of shared documents. Especially for RFI's and product submittals it works quite well.
Cons: Finding the right place to put certain kinds of documents can be cumbersome. It could be much more intuitive. It seems like sharing should be be repetitive to the same parties, but it is not.
Paul D. · Architect · Architecture & Planning · November 25, 2025
Pros: Cloning feature on daily reports. Makes recording day to day operation and miscellaneous notes seamless.
Cons: Manual naming entry for accounts already shared on project. Not being able to select names for accounts that are shared on a project.
Keaton M. · Construction Inspector · Civil Engineering · November 25, 2025
Overall I’ve liked this platform, no major complaints. The only complaint is more user-ended: different teams organize their documents differently (schedules in submittals, RFIs sometimes in submittals too), but this is not a platform-oriented complaint.
Pros: Ease of shared access, ability for our teams to personalize each section, ability for folks to mark up submitted documents, and ability for our team leaders to personalize the documents.
Cons: Not much - I do actually really like the functionality of the platform and our team’s ability to collaborate through all submitted documentation. If I had 1 complaint, it would be just the markup function, that it resets the size each time within a doc v keeping prior settings.
Vivian R. · Senior Project Manager · Commercial Real Estate · November 24, 2025
I like using Project team in general. As I mentioned I miss using some of the features that I was used to using on other platforms.
Pros: I like Project team's 1. Ease of search 2. User layout 3. Centralized tracking of each item 4. Ease to find document metadata
Cons: Project team's Revision tracking is not very intuitive for engineering documents. I often struggle to find older revisions while I am on a latest revision.
Sarvesh P. · Engineering Manager · Construction · November 24, 2025
It was pretty easy to use, though I most certainly don't use it to its full potential. I think its a good place to store, organize, and share files with large groups of people, especially when overseeing multiple projects.
Pros: A good place to keep files organized from multiple projects. Sharing folders and documents is easy, and I like being emailed of changes/additions to folders.
Cons: I mainly use it to upload monthly documents, so I don't actually have any "cons" for the site since I don't fully utilize all of the functions.
Johanna T. · Wildlife Biologist, Project Manager · Environmental Services · November 24, 2025
Overall my experience has been alright. I would say the primary reason to pick this over another platform is the cost.
Pros: Project Team has value that is pretty good for the money. No other platform offers so much for so little.
Cons: The platform is not super intuitive or easy to use. It takes some getting used to and understanding.
Megan E. · Project Architect · Architecture & Planning · November 24, 2025
My overall experience with ProjectTeam.com has been very positive. I primarily use it to track executed versions of contracts across multiple projects, and it makes that process simple and organized. The platform provides clear visibility into contract details and key dates, which helps ensure compliance and timely follow-ups. Its collaborative features also make it easy to share information with team members, reducing confusion and improving efficiency.
Pros: I appreciate the collaborative features of this application. The ability to work on shared files and track contracts with key dates and details is extremely valuable. I especially like how easy it is to monitor projects, manage signatures, and maintain overall visibility. This adds significant efficiency and value to our workflow.
Cons: The structure and layout can get confusing sometimes. And the search functionality. It would be nice if it were more streamlined and easy to navigate. But overall I like it!
