Bridgit Bench

Pros: This program is a very easy program to learn and start using. It is very easy to make changes or to correct mistakes.

Cons: There is really not anything about Bridgit that I can complain about. This is a very user friendly program and is easy to learn.

Pros: Rich features that cover a very wide span of functions and intricacies (including a variety of "human resources" topics like leave of absence, years of experience, etc).

Cons: When looking at a person's bandwidth (% allocation), it would be nice to include deals that are still in the works (opportunities) in that tally/percentage.

Pros: I really like the full visibility it provides its users to all projects. This has streamlined our workforce planning & it is a tool our team actually enjoys using.

Cons: We wish there was a direct integration with Procore. This would be helpful to manage incoming projects and reduce data input.

Pros: The ease of use when it comes to placing people on jobs. The information the system stores is also very useful when it comes to reporting and staying organized with staff allocations and availabilities.

Cons: Not having Workday implemented to transfer new hire profiles over to Bridgit. Also, manually having to add people's previous experience in on your template to then upload, when we have a previous template in place through MS Forms. The layout is different and will cause extra work.

Pros: Bridgit gives us the ability to track our resources in a flexible software. Bridgit also allows us to dump that information into other formats (excel) allowing us to do further research.

Cons: Sometimes updates do not take (adjusting start and finish dates) automatically. This requires me to get out of the current window that I am in so that the information will "refresh". This slows down the updating process.

Pros: The ease of integration was by far the best I have ever been part of in my 20 years of IT experience.

Cons: Im not an everyday user of the application so I cant comment on this part.

Pros: Bridgit does a great job of providing companies with a lot of flexibility on the back-end to configure the product to their specific business needs - while keeping the front-end very intuitive, but powerful. That is a hard balance to strike.

Cons: It was hard to come up with one, but if I'm nitpicking, I wish there was a better way to extract the data out of Bridgit to use to various reporting/dashboarding e.g. Microsoft Data Connector for PowerBI. Currently all data needs to be extracted through APIs.

Pros: What I liked most about Bridgit Bench is its intuitive user interface and powerful functionality. The platform streamlines workforce planning and resource management, making it incredibly easy to visualize project timelines and allocate resources effectively. The real-time data updates allow for quick adjustments, which is essential in the fast-paced construction environment.

Cons: What I liked least about Bridgit Bench is that it sometimes experiences technical issues, particularly when adding a new project or saving date changes. Occasionally, I encounter errors that require me to redo the entry. However, I want to emphasize that this is not a significant drawback and does not overshadow the overall effectiveness of the platform. The benefits of Bridgit Bench far outweigh these minor inconveniences.

Pros: I appreciate the ability to visualize projects and update manpower accordingly all from one system

Cons: There are so many visual options but, i would like the ability to customize the visuals a bit more on the Gant chart side, possibly the ability to list projects or color code them on the Gant chart .

Pros: The ease of use and the flexibility in which it can provide a snapshot view tailored to each individual.

Cons: I wish it could be printed on large format paper. Many on Sr. Leadership still provide to have a large printout versus looking at 15+ pages.

Pros: Bridgit is very user friendly. Relatively easy to learn the functions and teach them to new users.

Cons: Some of the functionality of allocations for the field staff, they can sometimes be allocated between a few projects

Pros: Manpower outlining is the best part about Bridgit. You can see at a quick glance who and when project needs are happening.

Cons: Due to the mass amount of data Bridgit contains it does not have a printable version that fits on an 8.5 x 11 sheet.

Pros: Being able to take what would typically be an overwhelming amount of information for the coordination of project manpower, and be able to step back and look at the big picture from multiple different angles.

Cons: There are no immediate cons that stick out to me.

Pros: Filter ability of the program helps to see the information without being to cluttered

Cons: Needs to have an altering system when project start date happens and no superintendent is assigned

Pros: The ease of use and the customer service. System is easy to set up and if there are difficulties they always help.

Cons: I wish a few fields would be more customizable, ex: on the project page being able to move fields around.

Pros: Precon Module, being able to better track our teams

Cons: Having to double enter people. For instance, adding a new person under the people tab, then having to go the account settings and double enter the person under the custom fields.

Pros: Bridgit has given us the ability to be more considerate of our staff and what we are asking of them. Overbooking is always an issue in the construction industry, so to be able to consider someone's workload at-a-glance is invaluable when assembling our project teams. We previously maintained siloed spreadsheets over our various teams and divisions to keep track of who was working on what projects, so to easily have the staff's availability at hand is a powerful improvement.

Cons: As with any new piece of software, it took a bit of time to get our team leadership to remember to log this information, but it has become part of a workflow and is no longer an issue.

Pros: Allows all stakeholders to participate and weigh in on staffing with an intuitive and powerful tool

Cons: The dashboard needs some more description around what and how it is calculating. It took a while for me to understand how to dial it in. Also the dashboard does not account for attrition or promotions in the ranks so I still have to some mental math when looking out over a year.

Pros: Streamlined user interface with robust tools for keeping our workforce planning super organized.

Cons: Sometimes we want more "horsepower" when it comes to financial projections. We would also like the ability to project forward a target employee growth rate and plan for promotions and succession over time.

Pros: Bench is purpose-built for the Construction industry, easier to use than Excel, and has world-class support.

Cons: No cons from my perspective. Migrating to Bench from Excel has made workforce management less effort and more informed.

Pros: Overall, one of the biggest benefits is that the product is very user friendly. Visual Gantt chart by projects is seamless and provides a quick and easy resource to help plan. Bridgit allows for easy customization of filters to see and sort the data in virtually in any fashion the user desires. The product also allows for easily generated reports to help in workforce planning meetings/updates. The ability to track proximity of staff to jobsite locations is a great asset when developing potential resources for a project or opportunity, especially in a metro location where travel/traffic are true barriers. Mobile platform/app is very easy to use and intuitive.

Cons: Nothing comes to mind at this time; we are currently working through integrations to various technology platforms.

Pros: Does a great job of aligning projects and people. It also tells me if I need to hire or deal with my surplus capacity.

Cons: Nothing yet. The organization and accessibility of the data is efficient and what I need.

Pros: •Visual Gantt chart by projects is seamless and provides a quick and easy resource to help plan. •Bridgit allows for easy customization of filters to see and sort the data in virtually in any fashion the user desires. The product also allows for easily generated reports to help in workforce planning meetings/updates. •The ability to track proximity of staff to jobsite locations is a great asset when developing potential resources for a project or opportunity, especially in a metro location where travel/traffic are true barriers. •The recent integration with our financial platform has helped with eliminating the dual entry for our teams which is saving us time and effort. •Ability to track upcoming interns/ extended offers is a feature we did not have within our previous system and allows us to manage and track them better. •With a growing base of carpenters and laborers, Bridgit allows us to forecast needs and our this has been a huge help to our teams in workforce planning for these individuals.

Cons: We have no complaints - any issue identified has been addressed and resolved.
