Very Good. It feels like a solid, reliable community platform with a good and user-friendly interface.
Pros: Simple interface and connections for community members. Nice visuals and easy to find your way around.
Cons: Back-end settings and integration of stripe for example - could do with better signposting and clearer guidance

It is great to interact with communities and a bit expensive with a learning curve to create courses.
Pros: A great way to create and connect with community, network and share resources and information. So much better than using other social media.
Cons: It can become challenging to switch between various communities. While intuitive, there is a learning curve as well.

I've tried to test it out for a few month. It is indeed good, but since I didn't have too much money to invest on it in the beginning I moved on to more budget friendly options
Pros: Circle is a valid option if you are going to build a community, it has a lot of features, easy monetization and rapid customer support when needed (and trust me, if you want to build a community you want to have a good support) but this is true if you have a minimum of money to invest
Cons: Circle major problem imho is related to the fact that there is not an cheap entry plan if you want to test your idea out before committing to more (like a free or budget friendly option). It has a quite steep entry price, and generally speaking a community needs month to start. Therefore you have to keep some money ready to use if you want to make it profitable.

When I created a course for ADHD adults, I wanted to be able to offer a community space and group coaching for those who used it. Circle perfectly fit the bill.
Pros: Circle makes it EXTREMELY easy to manage a course and community. I was able to upload both written and audio versions of a 70 lesson course, and track which of my clients have read it, as well as interact with them in post format on a daily basis. I genuinely love this platform and will be using it for a long time.
Cons: I had a tiny bit of trouble using the live meeting function on circle, but when I changed to a zoom integration the issue was solved :)

I've been pleased with my overall experience. The support from set-up to ongoing quarterly meetings has been a game changer for our team.
Pros: Circle was easy for me to learn and easy for members to navigate
Cons: occasionally need features that aren't offered, but they are updating those often
Andrea H. · Operations manager · Accounting · February 25, 2025
The customer support team is very responsive when any issues arise, which are thankfully very rare. I use the platform several hours a day and love it. We can do almost everything we need in Circle.
Pros: Circle has allowed us to quickly build and grow a private investor education community and add or change features as needed.
Cons: While there are some customization limitations, the platform is more than enough for what we need.
Ken T. · Assistant Educator and Community Administrator · Financial Services · February 23, 2025
We have been with Circle for at least 2 years. They are constantly making updates and adding features. I feel like they have come a long way and hope to see continued improvements. Great customer service.
Pros: I like that we are able to have our course and our community available to our customers in one place.
Cons: I feel the site still lacks a lot of customization features. To be able to style your platform a little more on brand to your company, better use of overall visuals/flow.

Overall, Circle has been a game-changer for running my community. Before, I was managing conversations across multiple platforms like Facebook groups, Slack, and Zoom, which was chaotic. With Circle, everything is structured and in one place, making it easier to engage members, run events, and scale the community. While there’s room for improvement, it’s still one of the best community platforms available.
Pros: I’d give Circle a solid 9/10. It’s one of the best platforms for building an engaged online community, with a clean interface, great customization options, and solid integrations. The best part about Circle is how organized and seamless it makes running a community. Everything—discussions, events, memberships, and courses—is in one place, so there’s no need to juggle multiple platforms. The user experience is smooth, branding is fully customizable, and engagement tools make it easy to keep members active. It’s also great that it integrates well with Zapier and other tools.
Cons: Circle could improve in a few areas. Automations are limited, so you need Zapier for a lot of things that should be built-in. The mobile app isn’t as smooth as desktop, and analytics could be more detailed. Pricing also jumps quickly as you scale, which can be a drawback for smaller communities

we use Circle to host a currently free, active community for our customers, helping them connect to one another, access exclusive events and resources, and discounts. For us, it helps us build deeper bonds and trust with our B2B customers and serve our mission of empowering and inspiring our industry.
Pros: It is intuitive and user friendly for both users and admins. It uses UX similar to popular social media sites to make for an easy experience. It has great community building tools, with different formats for different content types, the ability to organize folks into different spaces and groups by topics or persona, and a very well built out event hosting capability. It has solid analytics, good customer support, and the ability to notify members of what's happening via email and push notification.
Cons: It serves our needs well. There are opportunities for deeper analytics or improvement of certain analytics. For example, we use Circle's tracking links to determine which events prompt folks to sign up and we learned it tracks clicks on links, not actual sign ups.
Jillian L. · Marketing Manager · E-Learning · February 10, 2025
Been using circle for our community for 4 months now and its been great, people share a lot to help folks with their own community giving tips/ideas/workflows and so much more. The support team is also super nice and helpful.
Pros: So many options for building community. payment options from the platform, automations and workflows to reach out + automate actions like tagging folks and bulk emails or DMs
Cons: Sometimes certain views are not ideal like the DMs scroll up instead of going to the most recent message.

Pros: Circle is an intuitive and well-designed community platform that makes it easy to build and engage with online communities. The UI is clean, modern, and user-friendly, offering seamless navigation and customization options. The integration with other tools like Zapier and Slack is also a big plus, making automation and workflow management smooth.
Cons: The mobile experience could be improved—it’s not as smooth as the desktop version. Also, the pricing might feel a bit high for smaller communities just starting out. Some advanced analytics features are missing, which would help community managers track engagement more effectively.

Very positive and as my very 1st experience in building a community it was pretty easy to find my way around
Pros: User friendly and with all the functions needed to build a community
Cons: Analytics needs improvement and CS is not always the greatest

My experience with Circle has been nothing short of excellent. I used the platform years ago and then stopped due to no longer needing it and now I'm back to using it again and I couldn't be happier. It has every feature I could possibly need, the team seems great, they ship features regularly, and I feel at ease knowing that my community will just work with no issues.
Pros: It's really easy to use, it has loads of excellent features that I find really valuable for my specific use case, and even though it can seem a bit pricey at first to start with if you're doing a startup the cost is really great for what you get and it has monetization tools to let you make income with your community quickly.
Cons: There's nothing I really dislike about Circle, however I did find some tasks a little repetitive with setting up my community like having to manually set certain settings for each individual space instead of just being able to copy them into all of the spaces I want to at once.

When I started, I felt a bit shy about the platform administration dimension : Everything was personalisable and a lot to learn. Hopefully, the onboarding experience was so great that everything was in order to start in less than a week !
Pros: Circle is intuitive and super easy to onboard, guiding you from your domain setup until your community engagement definition like no other. If it's a generalist community HUB, everything you need is in : > Versatile community spaces > Training & course > Live streaming events > Custom branding > Monetization > Advanced analytics The incredible pace of improvement and update make Circle the only reasonable choice if you have to start your community !
Cons: Price may be a barrier you need to secure but Circle monetization tools can help you to be also the solution !

Using Circle.so has been a fantastic experience. It helped me turn my vision for a vibrant, connected community into reality. The platform’s simplicity and flexibility make it an ideal choice for anyone building an online community.
Pros: Circle.so made building and managing my community seamless. Its clean design and customizable spaces allowed me to organize everything intuitively, host events, and keep my members engaged effortlessly. Now, I can monetize my content easily.
Cons: The only thing I wish Circle had was an easier way to customize the background color without needing CSS.
Fausto L. · CEO · E-Learning · November 25, 2024
Overall I was pleased with the product and the features it provided. The support response time was excellent, which aside from that, was a big part of our decision to choose Circle.
Pros: I found the Circle pretty intuitive and well supported compared to other products I've seen. We can set up a community in a matter of weeks with all the features we want from this platform.
Cons: There is a big price jump from the business edition to the next levels up.
Mark B. · Admin · Entertainment · November 22, 2024
Very positive, been a member of a number of communities and started creating my community last month
Pros: The fabulous support available from Circle the company AND the Circle community. Help is available via videos, blogs, email, chatbot, webinars, zoom calls, show and tell sessions and office hours sessions.
Cons: I honestly thought the marketing was not as strong as other tools but i think the newly launched Marketing hub will totally fulfil my needs
Nik L. · CEO · Marketing and Advertising · November 9, 2024
Very easy to use, seamless platform and intuitive
Pros: Everything is in one place and it’s really easy to use
Cons: There is no multiple languages like Croatian
Tea C. · Educator, herbalist and aromatherapist · Health, Wellness and Fitness · November 8, 2024
Pros: I absolutely love Circle. As someone who's not extremely tech savvy, it's very user friendly and easy to navigate. I like that there are multiple ways to host my information, discussion, chats and courses. They're always adding new features which have really enhanced our community. The ability to have locked spaces that have a paywall has been great for helping members upgrade. My members love that they can use the app or use the browser.
Cons: I wish it was easier to send voice notes and that they had transcription.
Angie P. · Owner · Individual & Family Services · October 30, 2024
Amazing. I just moved from skool to circle and I am loving it.
Pros: The flexibility it offers while creating paywalls, the inbuilt affiliate tracking system, spaces to organise my content, live meeting rooms.
Cons: Landing page builder could have been better.
Shamnas C. · Founder · Marketing and Advertising · October 22, 2024
I LOVED the initial call that Circle makes available for people who are interested in the platform. I learned so much from just 30 minutes with one of their skilled consultants. She also shared multiple example community buildouts for me so I could get creative with how I set my community up.
Pros: I'm a new Circle customer and I've been shocked and excited to see how easy it is to setup and start integration. I'm looking forward to seeing what this platform does to help grow my community.
Cons: I don't have any at this point. So far it has fulfilled my needs and exceeded them too.
Bee A. · Founder · Management Consulting · October 18, 2024
Overall, my experience has been super positive. I love all the admin tools, the customization options, the fact that I can take payments, have affiliates, add any type of content I want and interact with my members!
Pros: Circle has made it so easy for me to set up my community and host my content and courses. I switched from a self-hosted platform and switching over was super easy. I love that I can add courses, blog-post style content, as well as videos and PDF files. It's also super easy to customize the look of my community. The platform also allows for members to interact with the content and post questions, which is really great! I have been using them for the last three years and I couldn't be happier!
Cons: The transaction fees could be lower, but other than that I have been super happy with the platform.
Andreea M. · Founder · Marketing and Advertising · October 16, 2024
My overall experience with Circle has been sincerely positive. It’s given me the tools to build a values-driven, supportive community where people can connect in meaningful ways. The platform is user-friendly once you get used to it, and features like Spaces and the ability to host courses and live meetings all in one place make managing my community much easier. Circle allows me to stay close to my community members, offer real support, and create a safe, inspiring environment. I’m really happy with how it has helped me grow my community and make it more engaging for everyone.
Pros: The Spaces feature keeps discussions organized and helps members engage more easily. I also love that I can host my course directly on Circle, check in on students' progress, and offer help. Also, the ability to host live meetings within the platform saves time and money. Circle has given me the chance to create a safe, supportive space where everyone feels part of something special. And to do it away from other social media platforms.
Cons: At first, Circle can feel a bit overwhelming due to its many features, but demo videos help for me and for my community, and it gets easier over time. Though I’m still new (3-4 months in), every feature I’ve used has been very helpful. It just takes a little time to adjust, which is normal.
Vilma K. · Community Building and Growth Specialist · E-Learning · October 8, 2024
Pros: Circle is a simple, easy to use system to build a community and deliver content.
Cons: Nothing yet. As it compares to the alternatives, it's pretty solid.
Phoebe M. · CMO · Health, Wellness and Fitness · September 26, 2024
My overall experience with Circle has been positive. It offers an excellent platform for community building with features like live streams, chats, and customizable spaces that help foster real-time engagement. The user-friendly interface makes it easy to manage content and interactions. However, there are some areas that could improve, such as more storage options and automation flexibility to streamline processes. Despite these, Circle has been a great tool for growing and engaging with my community.
Pros: What I liked most about Circle is its community-focused features and the ability to seamlessly integrate content with interactive discussions, live events, and member engagement tools. It makes it easy to foster real-time conversations and customize spaces to suit my brand. The platform is highly flexible, allowing for easy monetization through memberships and subscriptions, which has been crucial for my business. Its intuitive interface and robust tools for building a connected community make it a standout choice for fostering deep, meaningful interactions.
Cons: One downside I found with Circle is its limited storage for growing communities and the lack of advanced automation features. This means that larger communities might face storage constraints over time, and tasks like automating onboarding or integrating with other platforms could be more flexible. While Circle excels in community building, these areas could use improvement to streamline processes and provide more scalability as the community grows.
