Good experience. Buffer is my preferred social media scheduler. Whenever I get another client and they want me to recommend a scheduler I always say Buffer.
Pros: I schedule posts for my clients and podcast with ease. I can schedule to every social media platform. You can reply to followers within the app.
Cons: The problems with posts going through have been happening every week. I do like that you can have 3 platforms for free but each additional platform is 5 dollars and that can add up if you're managing many accounts.

My business is using an "everywhere, all at once" strategy to post across all social media channels and connected accounts in an effort to be where our customers want/need us when they are ready. Buffer makes it easy to schedule out a month of posts on the major socials, and the AI tool can repurpose specifically for individual channels, as opposed to just cross posting. (a different tactic). Super easy to set up and deploy, if you have a social media strategy, this simple scheduler needs to be a part of it.
Pros: Easy to use and great value for content creation, especially when deploying an "everywhere, all at once" strategy. This tool is optimized to help you expand social presence and reach fast.
Cons: The AI generation tool has a learning curve about the business, and what posts actually work. I wish it was connected to a larger, genre specific eco-sphere for training data, pulling the exact post and intel that's trending in my industry and repurposing all content to fit that trend.

Scheduling content on client accounts was simpler, workflows of teams were improved with approval stages, and posting at fixed intervals helped clients' social media coverage without manual daily checks.
Pros: Clean interface makes it simple to post across platforms for multiple clients, while collaboration features allow content review workflows, and bulk scheduling saves a lot of time during campaign planning phases.
Cons: Advanced analytics features are only included in higher-end plans, and some posting lag or missing posts occasionally impact client campaigns.

Pros: Solid free option to connect 3 social platforms. Schedule content ahead of time to post across social networks.
Cons: Expensive to upgrade beyond Free offering. Free offering is limited to 3 networks. Sometimes glitchy such as scheduled posts not posting.
Andrea S. · Director of Marketing and Communications · Education Management · August 11, 2025
I found it more effective for planning posts, easier and cheaper than Hootsuite and Meta Scheduler, more features than Canva.
Pros: I appreciate the price of the paid version and the free plan that already gives 3 channels for free. It turned out easier to use.
Cons: It was easier than others but still not a LEGO brick, the saving features were not easy at all to do or to understand.
Kaitlin W. · Paid Media Strategist · Marketing and Advertising · July 28, 2025
I ended up using it after trying another tool that was super expensive. I pretty much use it for all my posts, even if I could skip it for simple ones, but like, I gotta make the subscription worth it.
Pros: I like Buffer’s interface, feels cleaner than other tools I tried. What works well for me is how easy it is to hook up social media accounts.
Cons: The annoying part is if you don’t pay, better not even bother. It lets you set up everything and then when you’re ready to go, you get blocked with a payment pop-up.

Overall my experience with buffer was really great. I ended up moving to another post scheduler due to the necessity of multiple post queues, but really miss the overall ease of use with buffer.
Pros: Buffer has a very easy to use interface, and auto-scheduling and reorganizing scheduled posts is extremely easy. The workflow feels intuitive and I never had to pull out the FAQ to figure out how to do what I wanted.
Cons: The lack of ability to have multiple post scheduling queues for a single social media account. One queue works fine if you only post a single type of content, but having to manually schedule or re-organize the schedule if you have multiple post types (images, video, text, etc) gets really tedious.
Void D. · Freelance Artist · Graphic Design · July 1, 2025
Pros: Love how I can just queue all my posts at once and don’t touch them again, it makes my weekly planning way easier and I can cover all platforms from one screen.
Cons: Sometimes I wish I could preview exactly how it looks per platform before it posts, so I still go back and forth which kinda wastes the time I just saved.
Nuria R. · Community Manager · Telecommunications · May 28, 2025
Pros: Good for scheduling posts, clean dashboard, works with most platforms, easy to see what’s coming
Cons: Preview doesn’t always match final post, analytics are basic unless you upgrade, support takes a while, kinda slow with new features
Kyshira S. · Digital Content Creator · Internet · May 18, 2025
Buffer is nice tool for scheduling posts and manage social media in one place, makes the work faster and more organized.
Pros: Simple interface, easy to plan content ahead. You can post on multiple platforms at once, save lot of time.
Cons: Free plan is a bit limited. Sometimes preview of post not exactly same as final version on platform.
Lindsay B. · Social Media Manager · Restaurants · May 18, 2025
Buffer me fait gagner un temps fou pour gérer mes réseaux. Je programme tout à l’avance et je n’ai plus à y penser. Parfait pour rester organisé.
Pros: INTERFACE SUPER CLAIRE, TOUT SE PROGRAMME FACILEMENT SUR PLUSIEURS COMPTES. LES STATS DE BASE SONT PRATIQUES POUR VOIR CE QUI MARCHE.
Cons: BEAUCOUP DE FONCTIONS UTILES SONT PAYANTES. ET IL MANQUE QUELQUES INTÉGRATIONS AVEC DES PLATEFORMES RÉCENTES.

Buffer offers comprehensive functions for social media management and delivers cloud based scheduling platform
Pros: This platform is robust in terms of post schedulling, analitics dashboard and team collabration tools
Cons: it has limited reporting features so you cant get deep insights on engagment and growh trend
Jonah F. · Writer · Writing and Editing · May 4, 2025
It’s been great for making sure we’re posting consistently, even when we’re busy with campaign life and spending more time in cafes than at our desks.
Pros: Buffer makes it insanely simple to line up our posts across Facebook, Instagram and Twitter without having to log into Facebook, Instagram and Twitter. I enjoy the clean design in which you can see an entirely week schedule at a glance.
Cons: Analytics are a little limited unless you upgrade to a higher plan and that doesn’t always work for a small nonprofit budget.
Wesley M. B. · Digital Communications Director · Non-Profit Organization Management · May 3, 2025
Pros: I use Buffer to schedule my posts in one single shot for a whole week, which makes me save time, and I can bring changes at any moment
Cons: I don’t like the limited statistics, and the subscription price is a bit high for me
Kayla M. · Content Creator · Marketing and Advertising · April 30, 2025
Hannah L. · Community Manager · Internet · April 29, 2025
Overall, Buffer is an OK tool. We use it mainly for scheduling Google My Business page posts.
Pros: Buffer is a good scheduling tool for Google My Business posts and shares them across Google My Business pages, as well as other social media sites like Facebook.
Cons: Compared to other social media post scheduling and management sites, the only reason we use Buffer is to schedule Google My Business page posts. It just doesn't have as many features as say the Meta Business Suite.
Laura D. · Client Success Specialist · Marketing and Advertising · April 23, 2025
I loved using Buffer as my scheduling and planning social media posting software social media posts and provided analytics
Pros: Buffer allows managing multiple accounts at no extra cost. For a while, it was great for scheduling.
Cons: It offers fair and affordable pricing, and customer service is like angels completing my scheduling needs
Lauren B. · Lead Content Creator · Information Technology and Services · April 16, 2025
Buffer is brilliant for creating, planning and scheduling your social media posts all in one platform, it’s excellent for integrating future posts on calendar.
Cons: Nothing wrong with this platform, it’s excellent for integrating future posts on calendar
Emmeline C. · Writer · Publishing · April 13, 2025
Overall I’m happy with Buffer, it’s simple to use but reliable.
Pros: Buffer is a quite easy and efficient tool for social media. I particularly like the interface that makes everything easily accessible.
Cons: That it’s a bit easy to get confused selecting the channels when duplicating a post in order to create a new one.
Dimitra E. · Programs Director · Non-Profit Organization Management · March 18, 2025
Buffer has been a game changer for our small marketing team. We can spend one day creating a bunch of posts and schedule them in an easy and intuitive way.
Pros: Buffer is very user friendly, clean, and effective
Cons: Nothing. Buffer rocks. We use the free version and it's fantastic
Cyrus C. · Creative Content Manager · Computer Software · March 6, 2025
I prefer Buffer for all of my social media posting needs
Pros: I love Buffer because I am able to schedule all my social media posts in one place
Cons: It has gotten a but pricey but I love its convenience
Kristen B. · Social Media Manager · Marketing and Advertising · February 19, 2025
Buffer has been a great tool for scheduling content. Publishes seamlessly - less issues than with using Meta scheduler!
Pros: Love that you can manage 3 channels for free - this has been a great cost effective resource for clients who want a platform outside of Meta Business for content planning / scheduling!
Cons: Buffer has limited LinkedIn Personal analytics! However, you can connect a personal LinkedIn account if you are managing personal accounts.
Ali B. · CEO · Marketing and Advertising · January 27, 2025
It did what I was originally trying to use it for, but over time there are more robust tools that are cheaper
Pros: It was simple to use and allowed me to post across multiple platforms
Cons: The save ideas features wasn't really easy to use and when I started researching there was cheaper versions out there. Like most companies now, they offer a discount once you try to cancel your subscription.
Aimee M. · marketing · Retail · January 14, 2025
It is a good experience especially for me as all I mostly wanted to do was to schedule my posts in one place. That way I can plan my content across all my platforms easily instead of individually logging in to one platform at a time.
Pros: It is easy to use. The dashboard layout is simple to follow through and understand.
Cons: I wish you can reply to comments while still on Buffer and engage with other content.
Naboth R. · Freelance Writer · Writing and Editing · January 7, 2025
I've been using Buffer for several years for my agency and managing client's social channels. It's a great platform and fairly priced.
Pros: Buffer is a great platform for managing and scheduling multiple social media channels. It had a good balance of features without being overly complicated or cumbersome to use.
Cons: As a digital agency, I wish I could organize multiple channels into groups or folders for each client.
