Pros: The video player comes with a React Native embed out of the box: this is great for developers! Also the design of the player is great and both loading time and video quality are amazing.

Cons: There are minor UI weaknesses, e.g. navigation logic and orientation. But one gets used to it quickly. In playlists there is a weird behavior that mutes the next video. And the subtitles should have a bit more padding to the left and right — typography lover speaking here. That are the only things that I have noticed so far.

Pros: One of the standout features of Gumlet is its user interface. It’s incredibly clean and perfectly navigable, making it easy to find what you need without any hassle. I also appreciate their straightforward usage policy, which allows for hosting in minute increments. This feature simplifies the process of managing video content and makes it easy to calculate costs. Additionally, the platform supports storage of videos at up to 4K resolution, which is fantastic for maintaining high-quality content. The plan I’m on also offers unlimited streaming of videos, making it an extremely cost-effective solution compared to other major video platforms. Also I have member videos that I am hosting with Gumlet which need to be secured. In my experience Gumlet offers probably the most robust security of all the hosting platforms.

Cons: This is maybe not fair to call a con because I bought knowing it wasn't a feature and not offered as one. However, while Gumlet excels in many areas, I would like to see an expansion in their storage capabilities. Currently, they offer facilities for video and image storage, but I believe adding PDF storage would enhance the platform's versatility and usability. This addition would be particularly beneficial for users who need to manage a variety of content types in one place.

Pros: Gumlet has been a game-changer for my business. I upload training videos to my website, and YouTube no longer allows me to stream truly private content. Since these videos contain proprietary company materials, I couldn’t risk making them public on youtube. After switching to Gumlet, everything became easier. Their secure video hosting lets me upload and stream content exclusively for our authorized team members. It gave me full control, strong privacy, and reliable performance. It’s the perfect solution for businesses that need secure, professional video streaming without the limitations of YouTube. I highly recommend it.

Cons: The learning Curve for me ...Gumlet can be a bit overwhelming at first because of the number of features and settings available. For me It took some time to learn the platform and configure everything exactly.

Pros: I like the fact that I can control my media, my live streams, my library and folders, with privacy features that are unmatched.

Cons: I can't think of a thing. It has allowed me to consider things that I wasn't able to do with Vimeo and offer it to my client base, such as the DRM protection, various CTAs, as well as not having to actually wonder if I'm promoting other brands at the end of each video. It allows it to become a step in a funnel (embedded or not).

Pros: Its a great back up from relying fully on YouTube, which is a huge fear for most creators who depend on it to send out their offers.

Cons: wish their subscribers feature on running channels was more affordable. Apart from that, there is very little to fault them with much.

Pros: This tool is just right for you: it is self-explanatory, extremely easy to implement, and fits your use case perfectly. One particularly positive aspect is the fast and helpful support – even when you had questions about updates, you received an answer within a few minutes. Another plus is the ability to insert links into the videos, for example to link products directly. This makes using it very flexible and practical.

Cons: Your only downside is that the number of subscribers on the channel is not unlimited, which you find a pity. Overall, however, the many advantages clearly outweigh this for you.

Up to now, it has proven to be a reliable platform for video storage and serves as a welcome alternative to services like YouTube or Vimeo. I also really appreciated the recent redesign of the dashboard, which has made the interface much cleaner and more intuitive.

Cons: It would be beneficial to have additional customization options for the channel's homepage, as well as a wider range of themes to choose from. I find the current low limit for live streaming somewhat disappointing. Additionally, it's unfortunate that a yearly Apple Fairplay subscription is required for DRM.

Pros: The protection features against unauthorized use and privacy control are top notch.... I've see nothing come close, not even big brands

Cons: Very Few Things actually: like I'm 99% satisfied. Maybe I'll add more integration features other than the zapier one

Pros: Being able to watermark videos with the custom options and use DRM protection gives me peace of mind for my paid courses, the security features are exactly what I needed I also really appreciate that storage is charged by "video minutes" rather than file size which is a huge cost-saving.

Cons: The learning curve for setting up channels and playlist was a bit steep at first; I had to contact support to understand the difference between the tiers and features. Also, while they include Google DRM for free, you have to pay extra if you want that same protection, to work on Safari devices which is a bit of a hidden cost. But trust me by far the most easiest and the straight forward one from any provider. Need for a custom domain to mainstream other features like community management, Tracking, Signing in to get the access and other general features.

Pros: - Clear interface, easy to use. - Uploading was excellent, especially with the multiple import options for bulk import. - Not unique to Gumlet, but the ability to customize the (majority) look and feel of the player is great, especially with custom logo and color set.

Cons: - Maybe I'm overseeing things, but I miss the option to organize the video's in multiple directories within a single directory (with parent > child directories). - The player itself does not seem to be localized, the controls seem to be fixed to English.

Pros: Gumlet being an all-in-one tool for everything about video. Like VIMEO but better. Custom domain, manage response headers and origin reuest headers for images. Man, it's great!!

Cons: I don't think I've found a single thing in Gumlet to not like. But if I have to name 1 thing, it might be missing integration with Pabbly. But it has API and webhook so not really a problem :)

Pros: It's easy to use and simple. I used it mostly to embed videos in websites and it works like a charm. much nicer than youtube

Cons: So far nothing, it is very fast and SEO friendly. I have yet explored the channel features but it seems a bit limited

Pros: The video playback is fast and reliable and good value for money. We have clients in the US, Europe and Asia and no one complains about buffering. The CDN setup was a big factor for me and Gumlet has handled that well. I also like that I can brand the player, control which sites can embed our videos and use simple security options for client-only content. The pricing feels fair for how often our videos are actually watched, especially compared with what we paid for other tools over time (for example Wistia, which was great product too, but Gumlet is better for our needs).

Cons: The dashboard took a bit of time to learn. Some settings are not in the places I expected and I still sometimes click around to find what I need. It is not hard, just not obvious at first. The layout could be a bit more friendly for non-technical users.

Pros: The ability to exchange the video clip is a professional feature we are using a lot. All the embedded links remain exactly the same, so that there is no interruption when changing the content. I am looking formward to use the new livestreaming feature. The system is easy to use and the Image CDN is handy when having the media under one roof and not needing another service.

Cons: Support got much better over the last months. Before there were some delays and personel that did not have precise answers. But since it is continously improving, no complaints. Apparently a new folder system to organise the media better will be deliveredduring Q1 2026. I am looking forward to it.

Pros: How simple it is to set up and use it within minutes, even for such a non technical person as myself.

Cons: Trying to figure out some technical, visual things on the video surface that I didn't expect and hoping their customer service is NOT as bad as its stated in APPSUMO

Pros: The video's are loading very fast and have good security options. There are many settings available, so there is always a a way to achieve what you want.

Cons: Each collection has its unique setting and moving videos between collections is not possible. So it is important to upload every video in the right collection.

Pros: I really like how quickly the videos load and the wide range of configurations it allows us to make. When I decided to switch, it was mainly because of the DRM protection it offers and how affordable it is. Few platforms provide all these protection features at such a price. In terms of usability, the main features such as uploading a video, configuring it, and sharing it are quite easy.

Cons: I would have liked the control panel to be available in multiple languages, but it is only in English. Also, although the main functions such as uploading and sharing videos are quite easy, the more complicated functions such as configuring DRM protection are a little more technical. I would also have liked more documentation and for it to be up to date. I watched a video on your channel on how to configure DRM, and the options are not exactly as shown in the video.

Pros: Ce que j’ai le plus apprécié avec Gumlet, c’est le niveau de sécurité pour mes vidéos de formation. Grâce au DRM, à la possibilité de limiter la lecture à certains domaines et à la protection par mot de passe, je peux héberger mes cours sans craindre qu’ils soient facilement téléchargés ou partagés illégalement. Je l’utilise à la fois sur plusieurs blogs WordPress et sur mes sites de cours en ligne, et l’intégration est vraiment facile. J’aime aussi beaucoup le fait de pouvoir remplacer une vidéo sans changer tous les liens déjà intégrés, ce qui me fait gagner énormément de temps quand je mets à jour un module car je le fais souvent dans mes formations.

Cons: L’interface n’est pas toujours intuitive au début. Certaines options importantes sont cachées dans les menus. J’ai dû passer du temps à chercher où se trouvait certains réglages comme les paramètres avancés de sécurité et d’intégration. La prise en main pourrait être facilitée. En effet, j’ai passé quelques heures à tester, organiser mes collections, configurer le lecteur et les sous-titres avant d’être vraiment à l’aise.

Pros: Video player UI fits perfectly into a modern website, videos load fast and customers overall love the experience. It's also very intuitive in the backend and while the cost does start to add up if you need features like DRM in general the entry point is pretty fair and it offers many types of upgrade paths (beyond plan upgrades) that don't feel so steep depending on the features you need.

Cons: DRM only available on Business plans so it's one of the few features that does require a bit of a steep upgrade if you need it from the get-go.

Pros: Great value for money. With my plan, I like the fact there are no streaming limits unlike other video hosting apps. Their UI is easy to navigate and their documentation is extensive with clear step-by-step instructions, so you never feel lost. Live chat was a big big big plus. Most video hosting platforms dont have this feature. Whether I communicated in the morning or night, their support team was always available to take my questions via live chat. Average queue was less than 5 minutes.

Cons: At seldom times, there were slight loading delays, so further optimizing the speed would be a welcomed improvement. There was only one instance where my video thumbnails weren't loading correctly. It was a very minor bug and after I reuploaded the image, the issue went away. To save time searching the articles page, it would be also helpful to have more tooltips in the backend explaining technical terms like VAST Tag URL
