OpenGov Procurement & Contract Management is a powerful and reliable tool for anyone working in or alongside government procurement. While the volume of opportunities can vary depending on agency participation, the platform itself is well-designed, easy to use, and incredibly valuable—especially considering the no-cost access we currently receive. It is a trusted resource that we genuinely enjoy using and rely on regularly.
Pros: As the Government Fleet Account Manager at Stivers Ford South, OpenGov Procurement & Contract Management has been an excellent and highly valuable resource for identifying government procurement and contracting opportunities. We currently use the platform at no cost, which makes it an incredible value, especially for organizations focused on serving public-sector clients. The platform is intuitive, easy to navigate, and allows us to efficiently search for relevant opportunities tied to government purchasing needs. It plays a key role in helping us stay informed, proactive, and aligned with agencies that procure fleet vehicles and related services. Overall, we are very satisfied and truly appreciate the access OpenGov provides.
Cons: I would love to see more opportunities posted, though I understand that many government agencies have preferences or requirements regarding where and how they publish solicitations

We are pleased with the software, and we plan to continue using it, refining our methodologies, and creating better bidding processes through the software.

Pros: OpenGov allows me to solicit bids and maintain compliance per our procurement policy. It is very easy to use, and we can assign different users to each role. This helps us break different components of the bid into individual review spaces, while also maintaining the integrity of the overall bid.
Cons: Our bidders have said they like the system, but some users have said they find the process tedious, troublesome, or even broken. We are unsure if this is because of our failure in using the product successfully or if the interface is inherently flawed. We are investigating these complaints.

Works amazing and you get to customize to your agency
Pros: Great software that is designed for procurement professionals by procurement professionals
Cons: Like everything so far, system is extremely easy to use.

The worst. Make a site that anyone can access. Bottom line!
Pros: Nothing. As a vendor, bidding on certain RFPs we are forced to use awful procurement sites like this. Our firm worked on an RFP for well over a week, many man hours were involved, the final step is to access opengov procurement and upload the docs.
Cons: After over 2 days, 34 emails and still not being able to login we missed the submittal deadline. We attempted to login so may times, 4 different browsers, 3 different devices all attempted by different individuals. I cannot express how annoyed we are at sites like this. They do not give a sh*t if you submit your proposal or not.

Pros: This system makes Procurement so much easier. It is easy to use from an agency standpoint and also easy for our vendors!
Cons: I do wish that the roles were more customizable as well as wishing we could add banners when we want to announce things to our vendors.
