I really enjoy using Nectar and am happy to use it. It's not only fun to recognize colleagues and to be recognized yourself, but then you can turn these points into real money and treat yourself to something nice! All because your colleagues appreciate your efforts.
Pros: I like how easy it is to use as well as being a fun way to recognize colleagues for their contributions
Cons: I wish that the Slack x Nectar feature would have the gifs translate in the Slack channel. I also would like to send .5 points (makes it easier when I am running low on points and want to do a group shout out)

My overall experience with Nectar has been great. I use it occasionally to cash out points for Amazon gift cards. Also it’s helpful to send my teammates recognition since everyone in the company sees their good work.
Pros: Nectar makes it easy to give my coworkers recognition for doing outstanding work or helping me out. I love it.
Cons: There’s not really anything bad to say about using Nectar. Overall I have a positive viewpoint and it’s enjoyed by my team.

Overall everything has been great. It's nice to call out helpful coworkers and also get acknowledgement from others about your work.
Pros: In general it's a great experience. It's fun to acknowledge other coworkers helping each other and the real gifts and rewards are an extra plus! Very easy to use and tag people, select points, and thank them!
Cons: Sometimes feels forced. Too many emails, would be better if a few less. The interface seems a bit clunky, would be nice if smaller font or the acknowledgement section wasn't so big.

Overall my experience with Nectar was really satisfying. It helped me stay organized and really enhanced my ability to engage with my team members. I would definitely recommend it.
Pros: What i liked most about nectar was how user-friendly it was and how it helped me easily recognize and connect with my co-workers.
Cons: Nectar worked really well for me and honestly I didn't have any issues with the program. Everything worked pretty smoothly for me.

It is a very good experience! it is super simple to use, and just using time to look at what you can get is nice
Pros: I like being able to get giftcards to spend on stuff or places I have never been, and going to events I could never
Cons: I wish the giftcards were cheaper, and you did not need to work so hard, and get a bunch of points to get a decent giftcard, or the amazon packages

Pros: I really like Nectar because I am able to show my appreciate towards my colleagues. It is a great way to ensure they are rewarded for their hard work. It’s easy and quick to use.
Cons: At the moment, I do not have any cons about Nectar and I have enjoyed using its platform to reward my colleagues.

My overall experience with Nectar is great. I really enjoy sending shoutouts to my coworkers and receiving them too.
Pros: The platform is user friendly and is a easy way to recognize your co-workers for all the hard working they put in! The rewards stack up fast and you are able to redeem many different gift card options or other products. I have not had any issues with using nectar!
Cons: I cannot think of any negatives to Nectar. It has exceeded my expectations and there is a variety of rewards to choose from.

Overall, my experience with Nectar has been very positive. It’s an easy-to-use platform that has helped make employee recognition more consistent and visible across the team. It integrates smoothly into daily workflows and has had a noticeable impact on engagement and morale.
Pros: What I liked most is how Nectar helps turn recognition into a consistent habit rather than an afterthought. It creates more visibility around team contributions and helps strengthen overall engagement in a meaningful way.
Cons: At times, the reporting and customization options feel somewhat limited. More flexibility in those areas would be a helpful improvement.

I am part of the social committee within our office and utilizing Nectar points has been a game changer when it comes to hosting events and getting employees to participate.
Pros: Generates Employee engagement and provides employees with rewards they can choose themselves and will actually use.
Cons: I have no issues with Nectar in its current form. Only issue I have ever experienced was due to usernames/passwords not working and I'm not sure if that was a Nectar issue or an issue within our office.
Lucas K. · Survey Technician · Civil Engineering · May 12, 2026
My overall experience with Nectar has been amazing! It creates such a fun and positive way to recognize teammates, celebrate hard work, and make everyone feel appreciated for going above and beyond.
Pros: Nectar is seriously one of my favorite products to use! I love being able to hype up my teammates, celebrate their wins, and recognize all the amazing things they do every day. Whether someone goes above and beyond, jumps in to help, or simply makes the workday better, Nectar makes it easy to give them the shoutout they deserve.
Cons: Honestly, if I had unlimited points, I’d probably spend all day posting because there are SO many people worth recognizing!
Jaylynn C. · Master Teacher · Education Management · May 11, 2026
Overall, a great experience. It is great for enjoying the little and extra things in life. It empowers me to be more involved with my companies products. The rewards really feel like a reward, and make things like date night, dinners out, or travel feel like I truly earned it.
Pros: Nectar's rewards are a wide variety with something for everyone. Nectar adds different rewards, so it is exciting to see what other options are available. It is easy to use with their more recent UX/UI updates.
Cons: Searching for specific rewards with a key word does not work, so I do have to scroll and look at every gift card without choice. I do not get email notifications to remind me to submit my monthly tasks to earn rewards, but that might be a marketing move which is understandable.
Laurel H. · Graphic Designer · Health, Wellness and Fitness · May 11, 2026
Overall, I enjoy using Nectar. It's very easy to navigate through acknowledging someone, choosing a reward, or viewing someone else's acknowledgement post.
Pros: What I liked most is all of the different reward options and how quick and easy it is to cash in your points for a reward.
Cons: What I disliked was that sometimes I'd like my acknowledgements to be private instead of public but it's not a big ussue.
Derrianna B. · Interventionist · E-Learning · May 11, 2026
overall, everything has been great - no real negatives and I enjoy looking at the site often for shout outs and gift cards to use my points for.
Pros: Easy to use, fun to read shout outs about others from different teammates and receiving gift cards for things like our hazard ids is a great incentive.
Cons: I would love more variety of gift cards and ways to use the points, everything else is great though honestly.
Emmaline S. · Purchaser · Utilities · May 11, 2026
The overall experience is very good. The system is easy to use, and it is nice to see people being recognized for various reasons throughout the company.
Pros: I have enjoyed using Nectar to recognize others. It is a great way to make a simple shout out turn into a tangible reward. In addition to being able to recognize anyone at any time, challenges are also offered as a way to earn Nectar points for oneself. Depending on one's organization, challenges will vary, but they offer the giver points for completing challenges such as recognizing others, completing health challenges, and more.
Cons: Giving points is easy, but it sometimes difficult to find the person you want to recognize in a larger corporation. Points can be given to anyone in the organization, so it would be nice to be able to create your own list of team members that you recognize more often or allowing those you recognize most to be seen first before seeing those you never know.
Brian T. · Teacher · E-Learning · May 6, 2026
Pros: I enjoy the ability to recognize and compliment colleagues based on our school's values. Nectar also gives me the ability to recognize others for personal milestones (work anniversary's, birthday's, etc.)!
Cons: The main drawback for me was that it could feel a bit overwhelming at times, especially when navigating all of the available features or content.
Samara C. · Teacher · Education Management · May 5, 2026
Overall I really enjoy the program and I think it is good to have something like this, especially with being virtual.
Pros: Being able to be specific about feedback and use gifs/emojis to make it more personal. I also like being about to decide how many points to send.
Cons: I do not not like it, but I do not think that it is necessary to see who is getting points and how many/who sent them.
Sherita C. · Teacher · E-Learning · May 4, 2026
I love being able to recognize teammates at any time and that everyone can see the recognition. We tie the recognition to our company values and that helps make sure everyone keeps those values top of mind.
Pros: I like that everyone in the company has access to see and send shoutouts to everyone else in the company. It is not just restricted to reporting lines.
Cons: Trying to figure out the appropriate amount of points to award so I don't run out but also use up my allotment.
Lisa C. · Sr Vice President of Academics · Education Management · May 4, 2026
Overall, I think Nectar is a solid tool for team building, especially for remote employees. It is a straightforward platform with one minor con that isn't even Nectar's fault.
Pros: I like that Nectar is easy to use to recognize fellow employees. It's simple to send shoutouts, and the rewards are solid, such as gift cards that can be redeemed at many locations/sites. It's nice to build team morale as remote employees.
Cons: There are a lot of employees and few points (I know this isn't Nectar's fault), so it can seem overwhelming to pick a person or people for recognition because so many people are worthy of acknowledgement.

Overall experience with Nectar has been a positive motivator for managing employees to accomplish tasks promptly
Pros: Rewarding colleagues for getting the work done to meet milestone deadlines and using Nectar as an incentive for getting work done promptly
Cons: Was only able to reward colleagues on an occasional basis because of Nectar's monthly allowance, would have liked more frequency of points allowance from Nectar
Anonymous User · Senior Scientist · Pharmaceuticals · April 30, 2026
I love it overall 9/10. It is such a great culture builder for companies, and it really makes a difference in showing praise.
Pros: I love that I can share a positive culture with my team and they can redeem to get things they actually want.
Cons: I do not like that the points expire monthly. I wish I had more time to decide where I would like to share my points.
Kimberly D. · Supervisor · E-Learning · April 30, 2026
Great. It's created a more collaborative and appreciative environment. It's cool to be rewarded for having good work ethic, but it's even better to be able to show other co-workers my appreciation by sending points their way, too.
Pros: Nectar is easy to use and encourages us to foster a more collaborative workspace with in our school. Many of the things I get recognized and rewarded for I would do anyway, just because it's my work ethic, but being recognized for them helps me feel appreciated. There is a wide selection of gift cards to choose from and the options for school branded accessories is pretty cool, too.
Cons: I don't think there's anything I don't like about Nectar. The point to reward ratio makes sense and it's easy to use. I can't really complain.
Ryan G. · Teacher · Primary/Secondary Education · April 29, 2026
Nectar is an employee recognition and rewards platform used to promote a positive workplace culture. Team members can give and receive points to acknowledge contributions, collaboration, and achievements. The system encourages peer-to-peer recognition, which helps boost morale and reinforces a culture of appreciation. When used consistently, Nectar can strengthen team engagement and highlight staff efforts that might otherwise go unnoticed. Its effectiveness largely depends on active participation and meaningful use of the platform, but overall, it is a valuable tool for fostering connection and recognition among employees.
Pros: I appreciated how easy Nectar makes it to recognize colleagues in real time. The peer-to-peer aspect encourages a positive and supportive work environment, allowing team members to celebrate each other’s efforts and accomplishments. It’s also motivating to receive recognition in a tangible way, and the points system adds an extra layer of appreciation that helps boost morale and engagement across the team.
Cons: One drawback of Nectar is that recognition can feel inconsistent depending on how actively individuals or teams use the platform. When participation is low, it may not fully reflect the contributions of all employees, which can make the system feel uneven at times. In addition, while the points-based rewards are a nice concept, the actual value or variety of rewards may not always feel meaningful or motivating enough for some staff members. This can reduce long-term engagement with the system.

My overall all experience was extremely positive, I recommend it to other corporations especially in a remote setting
Pros: It was easy to use and enjoyed seeing all the exciting teamwork, it really opens up company culture and viability for remote teams.
Cons: Sometimes I struggled with logging in with a verification code. It was a very minor issue but sometimes dual authentication I struggle with
Kyndal C. · Teacher · Education Management · April 29, 2026
I truly have an amazing time celebrating my incredible colleagues with shoutouts on Nectar! I also enjoy receiving shoutouts.
Pros: I like that I can give shoutouts in a meaningful way, since it can be difficult to do that when working remotely.
Cons: I wish I had enough points to shout out everyone! So much talent, but sadly I have a limited supply.
Israa M. · Teacher · Education Management · April 29, 2026
Typically using it to encourage teammates especially during tough times like testing and when I see something worth it, I use my points.
Pros: It's easy to use, and great at promoting company culture. The UI looks great even on phone and the email notifications are nice.
Cons: Limited reward inventory, or so random/expensive for the amount of points given. Would be better with maybe smaller, reasonable items.
