SafetyAmp

Pros: Easy to use right from the start with a small amount of training. It is a great value for our money compared to other major training and documentation software. Allows us to provide high quality safety training with our materials and prewritten programs from SafetyAmp. SafetyAmp also provides a large quantity of specially developed training videos, forms and documents that can be modified for our use. The software manages our safety training and records, documents and procedures, risk assessments, allows us to create action items with notification and follow-up. The program comes with a ready to use compliant incident management system and will produce the necessary OSHA logs and records. Contractor Management is easily managed as well as sign in for visitors.

Cons: While it is easy to use, there are multiple steps to create before training can start. Including creating a training course for each document needed, developing each certification and linking with the training course, compliance groups, etc. But each step is a learning experience that will allow you to expand the use of the documents for training.

Pros: SafetyAmp enables our company to collect data, investigate safety concerns, advance safety programs, and communicate to the team all in one site. It allows our safety procedures and tasks to be more accessible to our employees.

Cons: Some of the customizable steps to enter data for an incident can be more efficient. I also would prefer being able to archive completed forms.

Pros: That you can customize it and run your entire safety management system from it. Also from the moment I started working with your team, they have been extremely helpful! The customer service and attention to detail has been top notch!

Cons: I like that you can create equipment qualification forms that you can complete and sign from an iPad. However it would be really helpful that once it was complete, you could click submit and it would automatically populate in the individuals employee records.

Pros: I love that SafetyAmp has completely transformed our recordkeeping and training across multiple locations. The flat annual rate (not charging by user) was a huge selling point for us, especially compared to other platforms. The support team is always responsive and helps me set up visualizations or troubleshoot anything I need, making the platform approachable even if you're not super technical. The ability to handle OSHA compliance, incident reporting, and training data in one place has been critical for us.

Cons: I wish the platform was more accessible for our field employees who struggle with technology, especially with the login process. Many of our workers have trouble remembering passwords or navigating the system, so a more frictionless, non-login option for submitting forms or hazard reports would be very helpful. Also, some training content, especially in Spanish or specific to agriculture, is lacking or only available with captions, which doesn't work for employees with limited reading comprehension.

Cons: User interface can be improved upon to make it meet stakeholders requirement,turnaround time for support can be improved upon to meet emergency

Pros: What stood out most was how easy it was to roll out across the team. The interface is straightforward, even for operatives who aren’t particularly tech-savvy. The reporting features are strong — especially being able to log incidents and near-misses quickly from a mobile device. The dashboard gives a clear overview of compliance, training records, and outstanding actions, which makes management reporting much easier.

Cons: Some of the customisation options feel slightly limited, particularly when trying to tailor forms to very specific internal processes. It would also be good to see more integrations with other project management tools to avoid double-handling data.

Pros: What I like the most is the flexibility it has for the generation of new modules that are tailored to our needs and the possibility of developing them ourselves without depending on external developments.

Cons: What I liked least is that we never knew before that we could do so many things with this tool. It was only when I had someone very curious in my team that we really discovered the full potential.

Pros: Safety amp, has a good modules and easy to understand, after a few training meetings, the reporting, the action items, the incident investigation, etc, the support given by travis in this case is excellent, taking the time to train us, solving questions, and helping us to get some alternatives of what are we looking,

Cons: The compliace groups, most of the stuff in there is for 1 use only and manual, dont work for reports or add new trainings, need to work a lot on that, there is no compliance calendar, i used to work with gensuite, they have a compliance calendar with auto email reporting letting the worker know what they have to do everyday, and emailing if they dont do it, is a good feature, and the weekly report, there is no way to set up a weekly report for the employees, receiving the score or compliance percentage, the certification creation upload, for some reason the date is on english uk some times is hard to set up the date

Pros: Everything we need all in one place. Mobile applications work really well which is perfect for our employees working on job sites everyday. The customizable dashboard is great for different job roles.

Cons: It's a little difficult to figure out how to pull different statistics for things. The same thing with uploading internal training. Once you figure out how to do it though, it isn't that bad.

Pros: Very user friendly with a bold dashboard to highlight and direct users to the required module such as workplace inspection, employee recognition, incident reporting, near misses etc. Each module is very easy to build and customize, it streamlines reporting requirements and facilitates data analysis. Very responsive and helpful tech support.

Cons: When viewing incidents it would be good to have an overview of the incident with all the associated actions visible like a family tree instead of having to open each incident. Unable to make the dashboard and sidebars to another language than English.

Pros: The functionality and various modules that SafeyAmp offers are user friendly and very price competitive based on the other platforms we reviewed during our search.

Cons: When we switched over from our previous LMS we had to manually upload our existing completion records from the old system. Safety amp does have a template excel file to assist with this though.

Pros: Ease of use and the ability to use smart phones. From adding new employees to deleting associates who are no longer with us.

Cons: I wish we could customize more of the data that is being captured. Being able to sort like the excel files would go a long way to help.

Pros: The dashboard is clean and easy to navigate, setting up alerts and reviewing reports took me just minutes.

Cons: While the interface is intuitive, some team members needed extra training to fully understand how to use all the features effectively.

Pros: The customization of the platform is one of my favorite aspects. I also like the reporting and analytics.

Cons: Implementation took a little longer than I expected initially, but overall it went smoothly in the end.

Pros: I liked the option to select individuals who will receive notifications for incidents and action items.

Cons: N/A - I do not have anything that I dislike about SafetyAmp. This software has been a great option for us.

Pros: I liked the simple interface and dashboard set up. It also allowed us to modify and set up specific functions to suit our specific needs on work sites.

Cons: It is primarily set up for Incident reporting, Auditing and Observations. It was a challenge setting it up to function outside of these areas. With the help of the dedicated specialist it was possible.

Pros: The ease and convenience that this system allows to manage our safety program. From being able to drop training to upload documents and forms on the fly. This system makes things easier.

Cons: Alert system. I would like to see alerts when forms are completed or incidents reported. Even alerts for when training in completed.

Pros: SafetyAmp offers excellent tools for tracking and managing . The platform has customization options and very easy to use it.

Cons: As of now there is no dislike in SafetyAmp

Cons: Some admin controls make it hard for the average person to build.

Pros: SafetyAmp has alot of great features. When using SafetyAmp from setting up the system to creating and deploying trainings the customer service has been fantastic. I have approached safetyamp with alot of ideas and they are very communicative and cater to my requests in a very timely manner.

Cons: I would like an App as end-users would find it easier to locate and use.

Pros: A very straight forward approach to form building, documentation and tracking

Cons: Obtaining a training certification has a bit of twist and turns. Works great, but I feel like it could be a bit more straight forward with tracking.
