Suite has been the best course development tool for years; primarily due to it's large variety of embedded tools quiz types, integration, and SCORM. I've used their products for 17+ years and always highly recommend it.
Pros: Large variety of tools well-suited for building multiple levels of courseware. Interface is intuitive. Tools are well integrated and robust. Possibly the best quiz maker product on the market. Ability to create SCORM output. 24x7 tech support.
Cons: Expensive; price is high. Inability to purchase lifetime license. Recently, online documentation is outdate; tech writing team is frequently late providing current information; product released is not always in-sync with online help, also effecting the help desk.

I don't use it all the time, but I use it for a handful of tasks throughout the year, and it works well. The customer support is also great. They are very responsive.
Pros: The customer support is good, it has a lot of features, and it helps me produce an impressive end product.
Cons: The processing time can be very long, which extends the amount of time it takes me to complete tasks.

Great Tool and very helpful for a growing company wanting to know how to clean up our trainings and look like a higher end business
Pros: Great product to help make nice quality videos for low cost. Very easy to use and interactive for our employee to not just watch content but engage with it.
Cons: Sometimes the posting and linking PowerPoints to the ispring course was a bit trick but once we figured it out it went smoothly.

I like working with it. I love how attractive the end product is. We get lots of compliments on our courses.
Pros: Easy to use, keeping up with industry trends, integrated AI features. Creating an attractive product. Customer Support is very responsive. I love interactive learning features.
Cons: At times, there are glitches that are frustrating. But most of the time, due to their responsive support, they get fixed fairly quickly.

My experience with iSpring Suite has been very positive and has been the best value for my organizations money. They provide exquisite video editing tools, interactive tools for learning, and excellent customer service.
Pros: iSpring Suite is a helpful tool that enables me to assemble quick learning videos, longer interactive learning modules, engage my learners in a little friendly competition, and is easy to use. Their customer support is very helpful. Today, [sensitive content hidden] was instrumental in helping me get my iSpring tools all set up with my new laptop in about a minute.
Cons: As is the case with many LMS systems, you do have to move files around a bit more than I'd like but that is the only down side.
Petra D. · Director of Education · Hospital & Health Care · April 9, 2026
Overall, we have been very happy with the product and recommend it to anyone creating content from an LMS, including quizzes and tests.
Pros: iSpring Suite is very easy to use, and they have great technical support when needed. This software has helped us streamline the creation of course content for our LMS.
Cons: There isn't much NOT to like, so I will have to settle on the cost. Software subscription costs always seem more expensive than they should be

Very easy to use with a minimal learning curve. Course creation is quick, and it allows you to easily add interactive elements like role plays and quizzes.
Pros: iSpring Suite integrates seamlessly with PowerPoint, so there’s virtually no learning curve if you’re already familiar with PPT. It’s very user-friendly and easy to get started with. Additionally, their customer support is responsive and highly reliable.
Cons: There are a few bugs that still need to be resolved. The platform also has some limitations, for instance, the player is fixed and could benefit from more customization options. The pricing could be more reasonable given the current feature set, and the overall look and feel is quite basic and could be made more visually appealing.

Awesome tool! Using it for Sales and the warehouse! Have created several learning tracks and using the Observation checklist feature!
Pros: Interactive learning, value for money, customer support, ease of use, course creation!! Love this tool!
Cons: Reporting could be more robust. Ability to slice and dice the data would be fantastic!! Ability to send reminders when certifications need to be redone, etc.
Andrea P. · Program Manager - Learning and Development · Electrical/Electronic Manufacturing · April 2, 2026
My overall experience with iSpring Suite has been highly satisfactory. It provides a reliable and efficient environment for developing interactive e-learning content, with strong PowerPoint integration and a wide range of features for quizzes, simulations, and multimedia learning.
Pros: I find iSPring very easy and intuitive to use.. I like that it has a lots of interactive tools and it is easy to combine with power point. And the best is the support team! Best support in the world! Whenever I had a problem they helped immediately! Also, the good thing is that iSpring is always improving and updating so the experience of using it is getting better and better with each update.
Cons: It would be great if there was a better narration for the Serbian language, also it would be nice to have captions for Serbian and for other languages. Also captions for interactivity slides and or quizzes in general would be highly appreciated.
Milica P. · Content creator · Computer Software · March 30, 2026
Pros: The customer support team is very helpful and responds very quickly. The suite allows us to create interactive and animated courses with human‑like voices. The basic features in “Manage Narration” are easy to use and intuitive. The different quiz types are great and allow us to create valuable and intuitive e‑learning content.
Cons: Some features are hard to find, for example enabling the caption button or forcing the learner to watch the entire slide before moving on. Most of the time, the tutorial is available online, but it’s a pain to find because it’s buried in a sub‑sub‑sub‑section. So most of the time, I had to contact the help center, and even though they are very helpful and responsive, I still lose time because I have to explain my problem, and they need time to look for the documentation before sending it to me. As for the narration voices, some of them are very nice and human‑like, but most sound robotic and are quite unpleasant to listen to. You end up having to sort through them all for your course, which is a waste of time.

I love this course-authoring tool. It's very intuitive and easy to use. Our training looks professional and it offers the features we need in creating training slides.
Pros: iSpring Suite operates the same way as PowerPoint - so all of your PPT skills are immediately transferrable to author a course. The features included in iSpring Suite enable you to implement gamification, role play scenarios, and other cool things. You can have one main character or many different characters in your training. It looks professional and is seamless in uploading directly to iSpring LMS. There are user guides for many of the things you aim to do in course creation or short videos in the iSpring resource library. Customer support is also very responsive and helpful. Finally, once again, the price cannot be beat.
Cons: I don't have any points of improvement - I haven't explored everything, but from what I've seen, I like it all.
Christine J. · Program Manager · Research · March 24, 2026
I've been using iSpring Suite for a few weeks and I've been able to spin up several courses quickly, while being able to go back and improve on them as I discover new features.
Pros: The iSpring Suite is easy to use with many interactive learning options to increase student engagement. I'm able to turn course outlines and PowerPoint presentations into courses quickly. And the customer support is responsive and effective.
Cons: With so many features, it can be a little overwhelming to get started. But most features are quite easy to learn quickly.
Sunshine R. · LMS Course Developer · E-Learning · March 21, 2026
The tool is exceptionally intuitive and customer support is always timely. The tool is frequently updated with useful features.
Pros: The ease of use of the product. I found many of the features to be very intuitive and didn’t require me to read through support docs or reaching out to support.
Cons: I would like to RTL support on more of the features - like interactions. Also, more support languages for the auto CC tool.
Cooper T. · Cybersecurity Content Director · Computer Software · March 19, 2026
I'm a trainer, so I use iSpring to its fullest extent. I develop interactive desktop training modules for field staff operators. Developing the desktop modules has improved our training experience and provided a new source for staff to create customizable content.
Pros: I enjoy the variety of features available for use in iSpring. As a trainer, I use the PPT combined with the narrator settings to develop desktop training modules. There are a lot of features that allow for customization that I enjoy. iSpring is very user-friendly.
Cons: I least enjoy that there are times your audio settings/file may disappear from your PPT. This has created challenges as I've had to recreate a training I created for staff last year.
Tanay W. · Training and Organizational Development Specialist · Utilities · March 18, 2026
It’s been a great, easy to use tool to take PowerPoints and build out modules. Great for content experts.
Pros: I liked the Ease of use and integration into PowerPoint. It was easy to learn how to use it and maximize my time.
Cons: I wish it had the ability to for AI to build interactions. I’d like to load my PowerPoint and have it turn slides into interactions.
Bryan A. · Training manager · Medical Devices · March 18, 2026
Overall, I've had a great experience. The role plays and other interactions are helpful when creating engaging content that help guide the learner to best understand why the selected what they did throughout the course. These features keep the learner from sitting back and watching a video to actually being engaged and required to move through the course.
Pros: Value for the money, course creation capabilities, ease of use, and customer support. The seamless transition of creating content in PowerPoint to creating more powerful content the iSpring integration is fantastic.
Cons: Some aspects of the slide properties and enabling scoring for quizzes required for course completion are confusing when publishing to SCORM with an LMS outside of iSpring.
Heidi L. · Senior Director, Learning and Development · Consumer Services · March 18, 2026
It's hard to put into words how much easier my job is because of iSpring Suite. It's perfect for me to develop custom training courses and easily allows me to track all the results for each individual.
Pros: iSpring Suite allows me to custom-create training courses for a number of different subjects that our company is federally required to complete on an annual basis.
Cons: I don't really have any negatives to pass along. iSpring Suite is ideal for my and my company's training needs.
Matt A. · Training Director · Airlines/Aviation · March 18, 2026
I enjoyed using iSpring. I found it to be a great product to build our training program and I appreciated how integrated features like videos and assessments were. There is ample customer support offered, though I didn't always feel like I needed it because it was easy to use.
Pros: It is really intuitive and easy to use, even as a first timer. I watched a few training videos and was able to independently create my course easily.
Cons: Saving and publishing files can be a bit tricky to figure out. Once you publish a file you cannot interfere with the files in the folder or move them around. I wish that was made clearer.
Tara R. · Owner · Law Practice · March 17, 2026
The powerpoint works very good alongside ISpring and makes it possible for a very acessible presentation with interesting interaction options.
Pros: It has a lot of resources avaiable and the support is always quick to answer, also very polite and helpful.
Cons: I believe it's UX is not very intuitive, so I relied mostly on tutorials and asking the support how to do things.
Luana E. · Estagiária Intern · Design · March 12, 2026
Overall I believe iSpring is the perfect program for a beginner in course creation. The plug-and-play style interactions are easy to learn how to use and you get a decent amount of color and slide customization. However as I progress in my career as a course developer, I do find myself feeling restricted by the customization limitations found in iSpring.
Pros: I like how user-friendly the program is, especially for beginners. I am able to create more interactive courses without a huge learning curve as a creator. The interactions are great for online courses to engage the learner.
Cons: I have experienced various bugs when uploading the SCORM packages into my LMS, such as letters disappearing from interactions, interactions not working correctly. As I become more advanced in course creation, I would also like more customization in the interactions.
Logan M. · Colleague Development Trainer · Hospital & Health Care · March 6, 2026
I've been using iSpring for 4 to 5 years I think (maybe more?) It's a must-have on my compter for any learning and development work. I even use it for in-person presentation design because I have the flexibilty to make those presetnations more engaging.
Pros: iSpring has been one of my go-to tools for creating engaging online courses and content. The different ways that I can use my existing PowerPoint skills was what originally made me look at iSpring, and then I discovered just how much more it could do. I like the way that it fits into my existing design workflow and produces excellent online course materials.
Cons: There aren't too many drawbacks. The library of characters is always expanding, so it used to be harder to find a perfect match for what I wanted, but now that's thing of the past.
Frank B. · Creator · Education Management · March 5, 2026
Overall, it has been a dependable tool for building interactive training and managing assessments. We use it regularly, mainly for quiz creation and structured online courses that need to report to our LMS. It has helped us standardize how we build and deliver training, and it keeps everything trackable for compliance. It is not perfect, especially with large or complex projects, but for day-to-day course creation and quiz management, it does what we need it to do without unnecessary complexity.
Pros: The biggest advantage is how easy it is to build structured online courses and quizzes directly in PowerPoint. There is very little learning curve if you are already comfortable with slides. For our team, that made adoption simple and practical. The quiz features are strong. We can create question banks, randomize questions, and build interactive assessments without overcomplicating the process. Publishing to SCORM is straightforward, and it works well with our LMS. For the amount of functionality it provides, it feels like good value, especially if your main focus is course creation and assessments.
Cons: As projects grow, organization becomes more manual. Large quiz banks and multiple versions of files can be difficult to manage, particularly in a team setting. Some customization options feel limited, especially if you want more control over the player or layout. When something does not publish exactly as expected, troubleshooting can take time. It is usually fixable, but the platform does not always make the issue obvious. A little more clarity in error messages or guidance would improve the experience.

It's been very positive. You do have to be proficient in PowerPoint first. The new AI image generation is a game changer since they don't have a large amount of stock images for my industry. I'm pleased with the images as compared to Grok or Copilot.
Pros: I really appreciate how easy it is to use. It lets you create courses that range from very simple to highly complex, depending on what you need. It also includes a solid variety of test questions, which makes it easier to assess learners in different ways.
Cons: I wish they had a wider variety of background images and characters for my industry. I haven't found the general AI assistant very useful.
Tim H. · Training Specialist · Chemicals · March 3, 2026
Pros: Very user-friendly and amazing customer support. screen recording makes it incredibly easy to create learning with voiceovers that include translations
Cons: Lots of updates that require download. For some reason, triggers false cyber security threats on computer when updating program.
Zoe K. · Safety Program Administrator · Hospital & Health Care · March 2, 2026
iSpring Max is an intuitive, easy‑to‑use authoring tool that makes creating professional eLearning content fast and enjoyable. Its seamless text‑to‑speech, customizable designs, and built‑in quizzes make course creation effortless, and publishing to any LMS is smooth and reliable. A fantastic all‑in‑one solution for modern training needs.
Pros: $94
Cons: The iSpring project folder tree creates pain points. The tool generates a large, cluttered directory filled with numerous subfolders, each containing assets, media, and configuration files. While this may be necessary from a technical standpoint, it’s not user‑friendly. Managing or moving project files becomes unintuitive because everything must stay in its exact folder structure for the project to remain functional. Accidentally moving or renaming a folder easily breaks links or corrupts the project. For teams trying to organize many courses—or store them in shared directories—this rigid folder tree introduces unnecessary complexity.
