We used this to transition from a WooCommerce subscription setup for a newspaper website. It provided smoother payment and subscriber management all with one software vs. multiple add ons required with WooCommerce.
Pros: superior subscription software for wordpress, especially compared to woocommerce subscription plugins. Price was good value for the amount of membership options provided. Customer support during initial setup was helpful. We used this for helping a newspaper website managing online subscriptions. It also seemed to do better during WordPress updates compared to WooCommerce, which would sometimes break the site during updates.
Cons: Managing subscribers who canceled services was always a challenge, and in our use case, having transitioned from WooCommerce, we had some customers overlapped in both softwares, made it tricky. A smoother migration process would have helped a lot for moving subscribers over.

Overall I really was impressed with MemberPress, the tiers of value, and the easy way you can scale up when needed. I used it for a custom site for a client, and they loved all the features.
Pros: I really appreciated the ease of use that MemberPress gave in conjunction with WordPress, and it’s easy to create new membership styles and the reports are very helpful.
Cons: I don’t have many complaints, overall it was a pretty seamless process. It offers a lot of value for the price, so really no problems.

We've been using MemberPress for four years now and for the first time in the organization's history we have an accurate picture of our membership across all 10 chapters. Once we got MemberPress set up, membership administration could run on its own, freeing up time for more high-value member interactions. This is extremely important for our all-volunteer organization.
Pros: It offers a full-function membership platform with a wide variety of integrations and a responsive support team.
Cons: Organizational memberships are not as easy to administer as they could be and the integration with MailChimp doesn't sync changes to email addresses.
Steve M. · IT Services Manager · Non-Profit Organization Management · November 21, 2024
Pros: You can connect paypal or stripe and simply start running your academy in some minutes
Cons: If you want to control the purchase process or tweak the membership levels or change something out the box, you need to learn the system and put some codes

Efficient, responsive and enough features for anyone to get started.
Pros: * Functionality * Easy to use * Support * Regular updates * Fairly priced.
Cons: The lack of 24/7 chat support. (managed by humans and not by bots.)
Gabriel A. · Director · E-Learning · January 8, 2024
Pros: The knowledge base, documentation, help videos, and support team are great. Almost every use case has been documented.
Cons: Requires a lot of customizations, add-ons, and plugins to get it to work exactly for my use case.
Albert H. · Developer · Non-Profit Organization Management · December 29, 2023
Pros: It was very easy to set up and integrate with LearnDash and BuddyBoss.
Cons: I haven't used it enough to really find any flaws, I think that it is a good tool.
Valeria I. · Career Consultant · E-Learning · December 9, 2023
The best membership tool to check out and launch ones enterpreneurial journey.
Pros: This is the best tool to make a membership website where we can restrict content based on different user roles. It has all the features and functionalities that is needed to make a membership website. Ready launch feature is something that makes the life easier by letting us to launch the course in just one click.
Cons: No cons as such, More options to include local payment methods would help.
Moinuddin W. · Blogging · Computer Software · December 8, 2023
Pros: It looks great out of the box with tidy and well-designed pages, and has all the functionality you'll ever need.
Cons: I would like it to have a deeper integration with Learndash.
Kieran G. · Founder · E-Learning · September 29, 2023
Pros: easy to build an online course and link up to payment methods
Cons: I think the setting menus is not easy to read.
pok man l. · online course · Computer Games · September 7, 2023
Pros: One standout aspect of MemberPress is the seamless integration with WordPress. As someone familiar with the WordPress ecosystem, I appreciated how effortlessly MemberPress integrated into my existing website, making setup and configuration a breeze. The flexibility and control over membership levels and content restrictions are the true gems of MemberPress. This level of customisation helps me to offer personalized and exclusive content to different membership levels, catering to the diverse needs of my audience.
Cons: While MemberPress offers robust functionality, one area I believe could benefit from improvement is the design and customization options. Although MemberPress provides basic styling options, I would appreciate more advanced customization features to align the membership site's appearance with my brand's unique aesthetics. Having more design flexibility would allow me to create a truly immersive and visually appealing experience for my members.
Goma B. · Marketing Manager · Non-Profit Organization Management · June 6, 2023
Pros: The easy setup.A good overview of what content has what access.Easy to create new rules and content restrictions.Easy install in WordPress.Easy installation of addons.
Cons: The integration with Elementor is not fluent. Several functions disrupt the design or CSS when activated. For example, if blocking one menu item to one customer level, all following elements shift to the next line.
Linda B. · CEO · E-Learning · May 14, 2023
Overall it has been great, very easy and I wouldn't go elsewhere.
Pros: It is really easy and runs itself. The customer service is really fast and always helps answer my question / fix my problem
Cons: There isn't an option for you to limit the amount of time people can pause their memberships for. This has a big impact on the sales.
Kim S. · Founder and Head Coach · Health, Wellness and Fitness · May 13, 2023
Pros: Setting up memeberships and create rules to allow specific access is fast and easy.
Cons: Using custom CSS in lessons post type is not intuitive and need code editing.

9/10
Pros: I can't express how amazing Memberpress is in terms of how easy it is to setup your membership. I got a membership set up in a couple days without any issues.
Cons: I don't like that I had to get a separate license for the affiliate platform.
Daniel C. · Owner · Health, Wellness and Fitness · May 12, 2023
Overall I’m very satisfied and have no intentions of switching.
Pros: I love how easy the setup was and I felt comfortable knowing that I had a responsive support team all along the way.
Cons: The price was a lot for a small team of 1. It was fair relative to other things in the market but I hadn’t budgeted spending this much when looking to set up a membership platform.
Nusaibah K. · Manager · Media Production · April 29, 2023

great !!!
Pros: It's very easy and fast to create amazing courses for my community, having everything in one place is very efficient and amazing !

Lika Mathilde w. · CEO · E-Learning · January 7, 2023
I've been using memberpress since 2017 and currently use it to run 3 different membership programs on two different domains. Everything in MP is laid out logically and the learning curve is pretty short.
Pros: Powerful and flexible. Relatively easy to set up and maintain.
Cons: Some features are a few extra clicks deep
Cameron D. · Owner · E-Learning · January 5, 2023
Anonymous User · Soporte · Industrial Automation · December 16, 2022
Alex M. · Especialista en Facebook Ads · Marketing and Advertising · December 9, 2022
