Citrix Workspace

Pros: Helps me access critical software securely from overseas or out of office. Has saved me many times in a pinch.

Cons: Can be a bit laggy especially when running on an older computer. Needs a good internet connection to be effective.

Pros: stable connection to remote server, much more smooth operation on remote desktop than windows remote desktop manager

Cons: the user interface is outdated design, the capability such as moving folders, turning on camera is lacking

Pros: I enjoyed how Citrix has various programs within the workspace that you can use. The program are very easy to use and contain helpful information.

Cons: The only issue I had with Citrix was connectivity issues. This could be a Citrix issue or a personal internet issue but the connection timed out quite often.

Pros: Citrix Workspace provides seamless access to remote desktops and applications as well as a very scalable product.

Cons: If a user has a slow internet connection with poor bandwidth there may be some performance issues.

Pros: Citrix Workspace is an indispensable tool for application virtualization.

Cons: Citrix Workspace is sometimes unstable when updating applications

Pros: Citrix workspace is used to connect virtually your desktop .

Cons: citrix is only suitable for on premises .

Pros: I like the access it provides to other apps around the hospital. its an easy way to connect through each hospital base or computer and bring over its files or information.

Cons: Not being able to close out with one simple click. it takes me to end task manually instead of letting the functions close all together.

Pros: The dashboard contains all the virtual machines, virtual servers ,virtual desktops linked to your user account. Supports to restart the virtual system using a button click without logging into the machine

Cons: The session disconnects frequently due to idle time or connection issues

Pros: I find it extremely helpful that Citrix allows me to have a workspace to perform database needs in a remote environment.

Cons: I think Citrix is honestly very clunky, and slow. It seems to be a struggle to open the link sometimes, and also inefficiently runs in the background. I don't think it's the most user friendly of systems.

Pros: It stores all information of all the virtual desktops (VDI)allotted to my account and allows to connect to them securely. Recently switched to cloud citrix workspace and the interface has improved a lot and is very intuitive and fast compared to the desktop version

Cons: Some times it doesent display all the VDI's alloted to your account a refresh needs to be manually done to reflect all the active VDI's .

Pros: Works great with our Tessitura implementation to allow the software to load.

Cons: Sometimes issues with it getting stuck and having to force close app or call Tessitura to get sessions unstuck. Updates have caused issues in past with display size of fonts on screen.

Pros: It's nice to be able to keep the clients environment seperated from my own.

Cons: I constantly get logged out of the browser session which is really annoying. The connection to the remote session is often quite buggy as well.

Pros: I like to use Citrix Workspace as it is a user-friendly application very reliable and easy to navigate.

Cons: I don't see any disadvantages of using Citrix Workspace up to now.

Pros: The best things which I like about Citrix Workspace is its ability to access a computer remotely for a long session time which allows companies to provide remote working opportunities to its employees.

Cons: Some of the apps like Microsoft Teams doesn't work properly like when someone is sharing the screen, it is not visible in the system with which we are accessing the desktop remotely.

Pros: Nichts, es ist langsam. Die Apps starten nicht und nach jeden Update liegt der Betrieb wieder flach.

Cons: Das es nicht läuft. Alle Mitarbeiter haben vollkommen Hass auf Citrix

Pros: Passendes Tool für Homeoffice und sicherer Verbindung.

Cons: Lizenzmodell ist nicht mehr das optimale.

Pros: Friendly and intuitive interface. Fulfills the function of being a virtual machine remotely or not. Safe environment.

Cons: It takes a while to log in and may be unstable depending on the compatibility and age of the hardware used.

Pros: Citrix is relatively user friendly and reliable and also has a public site where the software can be obtained.

Cons: Too many versions of the software. There needs to be an adoption of a universal installer file that can determine your operating system automatically rather than having to dig through the versions on the site. It can also be difficult to use, especially if a user has to access local files for uploading/downloading via a browser.

Pros: Using citrix workspace makes it possible to work at any place. My office just travelles with me.

Cons: I cant really think of a thing that i don't like about the software. Or it must be the fact that in rare occasions my usb ports are not recognized.

Pros: It is easy to use and does not require a lot of set up.

Cons: It fails to work correctly sometimes and restarting is required

Pros: Scaleability - easy of installation - ease of deployment (trough intune for example)

Cons: As times are changing, companies that are running M365 services will be switching to Azure Virtual Desktop potentially. For many, pricing is currently the sole reason to stick with Citrix Workspace
