It is okay, the communication from CMD support should be alot better when something is broken and no longer working.
Pros: I do like the ability to house a lot if information in one place, so that the info can be pulled quickly.
Cons: The reports that run are never correct and when something no longer is working and you reach out to support they do not provide any updates on an eta or status of the issue
Brianna K. · Credentialing · Medical Practice · March 19, 2026
CredentialMyDoc met our needs - no big complaints.
Pros: Easy to use, pretty intuitive, responsive customer service.
Cons: Not super extensive, but it does meet our needs so ok with that.

Cons: The "choose field" section resets itself all the time, my checkbox options never stay in place.
Stacey J. · Credentialing Specialist · Hospital & Health Care · July 1, 2024
It does the job for right now but interested in looking elsewhere if no improvement with customer service.
Pros: Ease of use mostly but there are a lot of fields that are not used.
Cons: The influx of forms. There are too many outdated forms no longer in use that they do not remove despite requests. The customer service is a bit slow as well.
Nhi T. · Credentialing Specialist · Health, Wellness and Fitness · June 25, 2024
It's ok. I haven't used it too long but these past 6 months have been ok so far.
Pros: A good way to keep data and forms. Also am able to keep up with expiring items.
Cons: Customer Service isn't where it should be. Old forms need to be removed and cleared out.
Francisco G. · Credentialing Specialist · Health, Wellness and Fitness · June 25, 2024
The management is quite straightforward, and the customer service consistently provides excellent assistance.
Pros: The consolidation of all my provider information into a single, centralized location proved to be exceedingly beneficial. Additionally, the capability to effortlessly generate forms for our various insurance policies greatly enhanced our operational efficiency.
Cons: I do not have any drawbacks at the present time.
Brandace K. · Credentialing Coordinator · Medical Practice · June 24, 2024
It's been a smooth ride experience, just like you'd expect in a Cadillac.
Pros: Reporting, Tracking features for credentialing are top notch. The abilities to develop forms is cost effective.
Cons: Effectively setting up contracts was difficult for us with our multiple tax IDs and multiple locations but we got it done.
Sandy M. · Supervisor, Insurance Credentialing · Mental Health Care · June 20, 2024
Can be improved but does the job. Add more colors like old template so certain functions pop.
Pros: stored credentialing information for each provider as an easy reference data base.
Cons: New format or template. Not as easy to use as old format/ template
Christine M. · Credentialing Admin · Health, Wellness and Fitness · June 20, 2024
Pros: easy to use and navigate through when I need it the most
Cons: I really cannot complain about the website
Beth M. · credentialing · Hospital & Health Care · June 20, 2024
I feel like I need some training in different documents and/or reporting options. I'm sure there is more I can produce with CMD, I just don't know how.
Pros: The info is stored in an easy to read format. Also, ie. If I'm updating malpractice for all providers and in the "malpractice" tab, when I click on the arrow to proceed to the next provider, the malpractice tab opens automatically for them as well. This was a great update!
Cons: The reporting is not always intuitive, and sometimes comes in an Excel sheet, which takes some editing to turn into a PDF.
Amanda D. · Credentialing · Hospital & Health Care · June 20, 2024
Pros: Keeping up with State License and DEA certificate expiration dates.
Cons: I'm still trying to figure out how to efferently use the payer enrollment funtions.
Meredith G. · Credentialing Specialist and Executive Assistant · Medical Practice · June 17, 2024
Pros: I enjoyed the updates to the CMD software over the years of using it. It has become a very user friendly software.
Cons: My practice was one of the first Specialists group to use this platform. The growing pains were real.
Yolanda S. · Credentialing · Hospital & Health Care · June 17, 2024
I love it, it has been a game changer within our company as far as organization and time to submit documents.
Pros: I like that everything is kept secure in one place. It helps keep us organized per provider and per location which with a large growing practice in many states is extremely helpful and necessary.
Cons: I would like to be able to give certain managers access to only the providers or locations within their own state/region. If there is a way, I would love to know! Like to be able to submit directly to the carriers through the program to track automatically.
Nicole C. · Credentialing Manager · Hospital & Health Care · June 17, 2024
Excellent product excellent support easy to use and train employees on this system
Pros: Simplicity of use , roster management, simple set up
Cons: We expanding to many more clinicians and locations needed more reporting features
Luann T. · Senior Director · Medical Practice · June 17, 2024
Great tool to have for everyday use and future use.
Pros: That is stores needed documents and files for present and future use. and they reminders are great in order to keep timelines and deadlines met.
Cons: Sometimes the changes are a little tricky and takes time to figure out. (not often)
Louvenia C. · Credentialing Specialist · Health, Wellness and Fitness · June 12, 2024
Pros: Great data storage and custom reporting capabilities
Cons: License and Board Verifications are not currently working
Christine K. · Credentialing Specialist · Hospital & Health Care · June 11, 2024
Overall, my experience with CMD has been terrific - right from the beginning, the sales representative that I worked with really understood my needs. I did feel that the Training Team dropped the ball a bit with me and I had to keep pestering them to complete the training, but once sessions were scheduled, the Trainer was great - she was even able to ferret out my personal level of technical understanding and train me at that level.
Pros: As a solo Credentialing and Enrollment Specialist, the CMD platform checks all the boxes for me... Provider details are automatically mapped to Payer Enrollment forms, its available on a small scale and it is a well-rounded database to manage Practice, Location and Provider data and documents. This platform allows me to work smarter, more effectively and most efficiently.
Cons: I haven't experienced a down-side to CMD as of yet... they allow all users the ability to make suggestions and requests for updates and changes, so its evolving constantly to meet client needs.
Ginny A. · Credentialing and Enrollment Specialist · Hospital & Health Care · June 11, 2024
Customer support is exceptional from direct account contacts and customer support portal.
Pros: Easy to navigate and reflects other major credentialing database payors use for credentialing. Highly accessible from anywhere being web based. Tasks are easy to set up and follow. Fully customizable reporting feature is invaluable. Generating enrollment forms is a big time saver.
Cons: Latest update bugs are slowly being worked through and corrected by CMD.
April H. · Credentialing · Hospital & Health Care · June 11, 2024
The overall experience is not good as we are facing big issues in notes creation, notes sequence and reports. Need to fix these issues to avoid contract termination from our end.
Pros: Next follow up date intimation and ease to access.
Cons: Reporting and Notes issue. We are not able to see the notes the way we paste it at the time of creating them. Please fix it asap.
Lalit K. · Assistant Manager · Hospital & Health Care · June 11, 2024
Pros: I love that CredentialMyDoc keeps me organized. There are tons of features including reports and live support when there is a need. It's very user friendly.
Cons: Last year CredentialMyDoc did a major update and it took more time than usual for all the features to transfer over.
Sheena M. · Medical Staff Services and Contracting Manager · Hospital & Health Care · June 11, 2024
It functions for us for the price. With more and more insurance companies going online for applications we go there for enrollments. We likely need more training to make sure we are incorporating this into our everyday workflows as much as possible to get the best productivity out of the product. Support is lacking and improvements don't occur that often.
Pros: We like a lot of things to sold to us but some still do not work like the integration with CAQH. We like the tasks features the most.
Cons: The product is not great for projects. The support team is lacking as we have had a few issues that take constant follow up, sometimes with no resolution. We have had several "glitches" over the years.
Cheryl H. · Owner · Hospital & Health Care · June 11, 2024
Not impressed with the follow up. They give the impression that my issue is of no importance to them.
Pros: I'm not impressed with any of it. Everything is so spread out. A lot of scrolling and looking for things. My job is very fast paced. I need things at my fingertips, not having to scroll through a lot of stuff to find what I'm looking for.
Cons: Customer service is terrible. I have yet to get a response regarding the issue I am having, and that has been going on since 8/2023, almost a year. Still no response.
Dianna S. · Credentialing Specialist · Hospital & Health Care · June 11, 2024
CredentialMyDoc is overall a good product. In our experience it was better suited for us when we started out small. As we have grown, we have found the need for data entry automation to be more robust.
Pros: The tasking abilities and features available with uploading documents.
Cons: Lack of integration with CAQH. Would be good if Expiration Notices were more automated than what is currently available. Need an improved way for providers to access the MSO.
Meagan S. · Director of Operations · Consumer Services · June 11, 2024
Very disappointing experience and found the product to be useless to us. It was basically a storage locker for documents since everything still needed to be completed outside of credential my doc. It turned out to be a very expensive "document storage locker"
Pros: Unable to answer this as we did not find the product helpful
Cons: Consistent issues with providers not receiving the link to application and unable to re-open if they could not complete all at once. Providers frustrated over link issues Program did not have the capability to directly link to Insurances, fax or email applications.
Sara W. · Operations Manager · Medical Practice · June 11, 2024
It's not bad but it can be a lot better. Always room for improvemnet.
Pros: Serves a s a data base and expirable reminder feature
Cons: Not the best customer service, specially forms mapping team.
