We have had a great overall experience with MedTrainer and definitely feel audit ready with their compliance program.
Pros: MedTrainer is great for compliance checking for our healthcare practice. One feature they have is AI which does make working on their platform easier! We use MedTrainer for credentialing as well.
Cons: MedTrainer assigns you a specific representative to use- sometimes the customer service isn't as fast as I would like for credentialing.

Overall experience was not worth the cheaper price, it hindered the overall point of the need, low quality customer service, poor sales tactics. Would not use again and would not recommend to others. You get what you pay for. Just pay for Relias.
Pros: I liked what the sales guy sold me on, which I never got. Now that I am trying to leave he said he will get it for me. Such as the specific trainings I need for my patient population, state and federal requirements and accreditation requirements.
Cons: $7f

MedTrainer is amazing! To be able to have access to multiple tasks all in one program has been a blessing.
Pros: Being able to place multiple pieces of required information in one place. From credentialing, employee tracking, training, education credits, to policy and procedures, the options are in abundance.
Cons: Would like to see a training repository on the operation of and the different functions of MedTrainer available when needed to reference/refresh.

I'm happy that the company have utilized this platform to accommodate staff training needs. The platform is easy enough to navigate and support services are available as needed.
Pros: The ability to access our corporate wide trainings in one platform. It also allows us to post our own corporate-specific trainings.
Cons: The ability to produce reports of course completions. It was a feature before and was disabled. I have to now do individual reports per staff instead of per department.

I have a really good experience overall. It makes keeping track of everything easier for me and i don't lose info.
Pros: I like that i can include a lot of info on enrollments and track it. I also like that i can get reports i need.
Cons: I don't like that it is constantly changing. Sometimes the system can become very slow or crashes out.

Fairly positive. My complaints are so small that it does not take away much from the experience, personally
Pros: I like it is as helpful as you want it to be. The deeper you get into its functionality, the more use you get out of it for your company
Cons: It is not as customizable as I would like it to be at times. I would like to expand the SDS binder to be more specific to certain roles, just so organization looks a lot nicer

Overall, I've had an extremely pleasant experience with MedTrainer. Working in our Compliance and Education, I like the ease of use, the organization and details within the program. Using MedTrainer is a breeze.
Pros: What we like most about MedTrainer is not only the ease of use, but if you have any questions their team is right there to help every step of the way.
Cons: I've yet to come across something that I don't like about the system. Anytime that you have questions the support team is there to help you and walk you through.

It has been an overall good experience in the few years our practice has been using Medtrainer and I hope the practice decides to stay with this program!
Pros: Medtrainer is easy to use, both at the administrative level and the student level. The dashboards are easy to read/understand/navigate.
Cons: Inability to run reports easily. Our organization is large and split into multiple divisions. I used to be able to run (at any time) an easy report showing me who had open coursework to complete. Now I don't have that ability to do so easily.
Lisa F. · Manager · Health, Wellness and Fitness · July 10, 2025
Pros: Easy to use, efficient tool to manage compliance. There are so many features to use and explore. My experience has been great.
Cons: no complaints, still learning the product. so far so good. The only issue I have had is onboarding a new employee that has worked at another location.
Jenn L. · Center Adminstrator · Health, Wellness and Fitness · July 9, 2025
My overall experience with Medtrainer is that it is an awesome system. Having one area to track employee information, trainings, licenses as well as having the capability of assigning policies is a game changer. It is definetely an awesome system.
Pros: I love the course authoring tool. Haing the ability to create our own training modules is excellent.
Cons: Modules don't always work. The response time from our service rep should improve. And the response time for tickets should improve.
Miriam L. · Director · Health, Wellness and Fitness · July 8, 2025
Our organization relies on MedTrainer for our staff training and BLS as well as state-required courses.
Pros: Our Annual Staff Training is simple to assign and track in order to stay in compliance. The courses are just what we require.
Cons: I have no complaints about MedTrainer. The support and staff are always available if there are any issues.
Steven S. · CDO Compliance Officer · Health, Wellness and Fitness · July 8, 2025
My overall experience with MedTrainer has been positive. The platform is user-friendly and makes it easy to complete training modules, manage compliance, and access important documentation all in one place. Customer support has also been responsive when we needed assistance. It's a solid tool for healthcare compliance and training management.
Pros: The thing I liked most about MedTrainer is how centralized and organized everything is. The automated reminders for expiring certifications and the ability to assign courses to staff easily are especially helpful.
Cons: Occasionally, some training content feels a bit repetitive, but overall the system is efficient and saves time.
Ariel N. · Hr and Payroll Admin · Hospital & Health Care · July 8, 2025
So far experience remains good and we continue to use it, i have not found a better value out there yet.
Pros: Education is great and has good variety of subjects and they keep you engaged with testing throughout.
Cons: Setting up the trainings, is a little difficult but doable and you can track who has not done there training and reassign as needed.
Robin F. · ASC Director · Health, Wellness and Fitness · July 8, 2025
Great! The support team has been very helpful and great resource . Overall, the program is very user friendly.
Pros: Easy access to courses for staff. Also great reports for OSHA regulations! Highly recommend to all businesses.
Cons: When assigning courses there are two due dates that can get confusing. The excessive emails when an employee has completed a course
Tasha M. · Regional Director · Health, Wellness and Fitness · July 8, 2025
Overall, despite some frustrations, I am very pleased with the platform. It definitely helps streamline the payer enrollment process.
Pros: I appreciate the ability to easily track payer enrollments and the customized reporting. I also use the Provider Enrollments dashboard frequently (although I wish it showed some different information). The Privileges and Appointments section is nice to have all approved packets in one place but also like that it connects to the providers profile.
Cons: I do not like the Credentialing features. They arent really functional. I also dont like how updates are released half done; they affect the way the platform operates and I have to either create workarounds until the full functionality is released or do the same action multiple times in different places.
Ashley O. · Provider Relations Manager · Hospital & Health Care · July 7, 2025
Pros: The user-friendly platform is a pleasure to use, and I appreciate how easy it is to navigate the onboarding process for new employees.
Cons: I don't specifically care for the incident reporting system. It's often difficult to navigate for our employees, especially with multiple departments.
Nikki H. · Accreditation Specialist · Medical Practice · July 7, 2025
Quick responses when issues arise. Mostly user-friendly for annual trainings and new hires. Policy assignment and tracking is very useful.
Pros: Ease of use and assignment for annual trainings, assignment of policies, license and CPR tracking, etc.
Cons: Used to be more user-friendly, but now you have to hunt and search for things a bit. QuikCred is not worth it.
Nikki M. · Business Development · Health, Wellness and Fitness · July 7, 2025
We have been on Medtrainer for 8 years and seen many improvments and updates. Very response with support if there are issues.
Pros: Easy to use and multifunctional. Use of colors and large font make it easy to navigate and see. Regular enhancements and improvements for optimizing the Administrator experience.
Cons: OnBoarding not functional-it initiates on the date the employee was entered instead of the hire date
Jennie M. · Clinical Data Administrator · Hospital & Health Care · July 7, 2025
Overall, it’s a good system. I need to learn more of its capabilities but so far it’s great and I haven’t had much training. All self taught
Pros: Simple to use, very straightforward. Running reports are easy, uploading certifications and other policies is great.
Cons: Company is not using it to its full experience. I wish there was an easier was to search without multiple clicks.
Zoey L. · Management · Hospital & Health Care · July 4, 2025
Pros: MedTrainer is a great site to use for uploading modules that align with hospital policies and regulations.
Cons: MedTrainer can be slow to upload certain content. The calendar on the student dashboard does not update to the latest class dates available.
Gabby C. · RN · Hospital & Health Care · May 28, 2025
Pros: I love that medtrainer classifies some of the trainings under compliance/regulatory categories, as this is what my agency cares the most about, so it's easy to look for those particular courses and maintain them as a learning priority.
Cons: I would love for medtrainer to have more behavioral health courses, as well as HR-employee development and wellness courses.
Vanessa G. · Training Compliance Specialist · Individual & Family Services · May 27, 2025
Poor. Unwilling to work with its customers. Poor customer service. Would not recommend to anyone in the future.
Pros: We were not a fan and found better solutions to our needs, however, we were stuck in a contract that was no longer meeting our needs.
Cons: Poor customer service. Difficult to navigate. Not enough trainings outside of the medical field. There are better companies out there that provide a better product at a more reasonable price.
Joseph V. · HR · Hospital & Health Care · May 27, 2025
MedTrainer offers a seamless compliance experience with intuitive tools, efficient training, quick and reliable support.
Pros: MedTrainer simplifies compliance with its intuitive interface, efficient training, and seamless documentation.
Cons: Some features could be more customizable, as they were lot of our internal training we wanted to be in one place.
Brinda P. · Health Information Asso. · Hospital & Health Care · May 27, 2025
Overall, it was really great using MedTrainer. The customer service team is always available whenever a question or concern came up.
Pros: Very easy to navigate and user friendly. There were plenty of different courses that benefited each department.
Cons: What I liked least about MedTrainer is that some of the videos were too long and not very informative.
Joanna L. · ASC Manager · Hospital & Health Care · May 22, 2025
Overall it is a great learning module for our organization and it gets the job done. I think that MedTrainer (once you get used to using it) is very user friendly.
Pros: Very user friendly and staff are responsive to assist with troubleshooting IT issues that may arise.
Cons: Sometimes there are login issues with the SSO login. There are not enough learning modules available for specific learning for different departments like ER/Obstetrics.
