Proposify helps small businesses create, send, and track proposals with e-signatures and engagement metrics. Sales and marketing teams that send frequent proposals use it most. Reviewers appreciate its templates and tracking tools, but some report formatting issues and slow support. Recent updates—AI grammar checks and flexible pricing tables—aim to improve editing speed and layout control.

Pros: What I liked most about Proposify is how it removes friction from the proposal process. In practice, teams can use templates, content libraries, approvals, pricing tables, and e-signatures instead of manually editing Word or PDF files. For example, this reduces errors, shortens turnaround time, and improves close rates.
Cons: What I liked least about Proposify is that some advanced formatting or pricing table edits can feel restrictive. Pricing may also become less attractive for small teams or lower proposal volumes. In more customized sales environments, setup discipline is important.

Proposify helped me (maybe it was more like I helped Proposify do the work...) create effective and powerful proposals. We went from boring, hum-drum business "letters" to full-colour, wowza proposals without much training at all! It's a great product and the built-in document management/signatures is very cool.
Pros: Proposify was extremely easy to use. I used it primarily for business proposals and the flexibility that it offered in terms of placing graphics within text boxes made the job simple and effective. The document tracking was kind of cool, too!
Cons: There wasn't much that I didn't like. We had a one year plan and while I thought that the cost was reasonable, upper management disagreed!

Pros: The ability to send professional proposals is incredibly useful
Cons: Its clunky, difficult to use and when I used it wasn’t properly integrated with Salesforce for ease

I'm an individual contributor using proposify, and i recognize
Pros: I do like that you can tell a story in the presentation of the proposal.
Cons: It takes a lot to set up the presentation pages to make it look good and helpful.

It's a solid proposal management platform and is good for quick proposals and contracts.
Pros: It allows you to create proposals very fast.
Cons: It feels a bit controlled and you still lose a bit of flexibility.

Great product from great people - we’ve used Proposify for 3 years and it’s been great!
Pros: Easy to use, great starter templates and easy to customize.
Cons: Sometimes deliverability is tricky - I always recommend sending a separate followup email with the link

So far it has been fantastic, I'm still new to this platform but am enjoying the functionality.
Pros: It's very easy to use and I love that I receive notifications when a client reviews the proposal.
Cons: I have no complaints or complications with this service

I’ve really enjoyed learning to use the platform and customizing for our needs
Pros: It has helped our organization create more professional customer facing proposals
Cons: This platform is really for more advanced technical users, and requires some training

Good to have depository of past proposals and duplicating is easy method to quickly get a new submission out the door; also like ability to pull up known contacts and companies.
Pros: Once we established a MS word template to customize scope of work, we then create PDF which has simplified everything else; it works well for what we need.
Cons: Difficult to customize and navigate but effective proposal tool plus my coordinator is able to log in as well so we both have access to our proposals as needed.

Overall, this platform has been the backbone of my department with creating a positive digital impression of how our team presents packages to potential clients. Being a part of a digital marketing firm, having our best foot forward digitally has increased our authority in our market.
Pros: I enjoy the ability to create templates and streamline my proposals. Having a built out system to continually turn around proposals efficiently has helped me win more deals.
Cons: Sometimes the formatting of terms and conditions and table building for pricing can be a bit glitchy when copy & pasting new terminology or updating pricing.
Alex S. · Business Development Manager and Senior Marketing Strategist · Marketing and Advertising · September 16, 2024
Pretty good.. like it better than using google sheets or MS Word.
Pros: I love the way you can build pricing tables and templates into a proposal. Then you can customize even further with added personalization.
Cons: It gets a bit wonky with cache with your PC-- so you have to refresh reguarly to make sure things are saving. Then it takes some learning to know where to click with you mouse to drag/drop and open menus.

Overall, I am happy with Proposify. The customer service makes a HUGE difference. And our contact, [sensitive content hidden], goes above and beyond to help us. If it were not for the amazing customer service, we would not have renewed our contract.
Pros: I like how user-friendly it is. It's easy to pick up and learn how to use it. This makes it easier for some of our less tech-savvy colleagues.
Cons: Copying and pasting from Word into Proposify. Most of our account reps work on their own financial documents in Microsoft Word. When they copy and paste it into Proposify, it looks terrible. Extra spaces added, and bullet points don't transfer. It's a headache to go back and clean up. This discourages my colleagues from using Proposify.
Sara J. · Sales Operations Support · Facilities Services · September 12, 2024
I have enjoyed using it and have never had any problems that I can't get an answer for.
Pros: It's very user-friendly and easy to add slides. It's easy to adjust tables or pricing or anything that I need to change.
Cons: I don't like it when new updates are made. but that's not a big deal. I know adjustments and improvements are important.

It has been a great experience! Love the platform
Pros: Easy to use and integrates well with CRM
Cons: I like the platform alot nothing I dont really like.
Katie C. · Business development manager · Marketing and Advertising · September 11, 2024
Very positive and now since I have several years of use under my belt, plus client feedback on their appreciation for the quality of our responses, it makes us feel great in using the product to attain overall high success.
Pros: I like the product's overall capability to help with producing very professional looking proposals - it has been very nice to use.
Cons: Wish that there was a Window's like undelete feature, just in case something is edited that you want to backtrack on. A bit unforgiving in that area.
Clayne W. · VP of Sales · Professional Training & Coaching · September 11, 2024
Proposify has been a great tool for our company. It allows my team to send information in a clean, easy to read format that we didn't have previously
Pros: clean presentation and the ability to add templated material
Cons: sometimes editing can be difficult if while using a template
Megan K. · Lead, Customer Sucess BPM · Construction · September 11, 2024
We've had a great experience with Proposify. I recommend it to fellow marketers as a way to streamline their proposal process.
Pros: It's easy to use and saves time on the creation of my proposals.
Cons: There are some features I wish it had, but the UX reaches out several times a year to discuss how the user experience is.
Jen L. · Senior Manager, Practice Growth · Accounting · September 11, 2024
We love Proposify and recommend it to our clients.
Pros: The ability to send out proposals and also track client viewing time.
Cons: Editing is a little clunky, its getting better, but still not as seamless as MS word or other word editing software. Also, it would be great if there could be an administrator role that can "sign" for the proposals instead of waiting for the consultant that was listed as signatore.
Kelly F. · Executive Administrator · Management Consulting · September 9, 2024
good, fast. sometimes it locks up and i need to reboot, but not often
Pros: The ease of putting together a proposal. client management
Cons: tracking issues with a proposal being viewed or downloaded
Julie V. · General Manager · Facilities Services · September 6, 2024
It's good. Easy to bring up won proposals, duplicate, modify and copy the link
Pros: Keeps track of all proposals and their status, all companies and contacts. Easy to duplicate an existing proposal and modify, copy link and put into an email
Cons: It takes too long to load, look up, go back etc. Too slow
Daniel G. · Account Executive · Retail · September 6, 2024
It started out well until they charged me after I had already canceled. They make it impossible to cancel online through your dashboard. You can only cancel through them and they are SLOW to respond or cancel the account. Beware that they will do everything they can to keep your money even if you did cancel.
Pros: I liked that the program was easy to use.
Cons: They have the worst customer support or any company I have ever dealt with. They also hid things in their TOS that I strongly suggest you read.
Ryan G. · Owner · Marketing and Advertising · August 19, 2024
Just had the worst experience with this software. Terrible customer service. 😢 I was charged for a whole year renewal ($500+) and reached out as soon as I saw it on my cc (2 days later). Their response was that I was in a contract. So now I guess I have another year of super buggy proposal software that I can’t use. 🙄 I would avoid the headache, bad software, bad service.
Pros: Nothing, it turned out to be a pain to use and no support.
Cons: Buggy, difficult to use, terrible service
Deanna C. · NA · Management Consulting · May 6, 2024
Pros: I like the electronic document signing solution The software makes document management easy The tool is a great CPQ
Cons: Not single problem with Proposify. It is quite effective.
Muturi T. · Accountant · Business Supplies and Equipment · April 29, 2024
We are happy with it and will continue using it!
Pros: Keeps track of all our outstanding proposals, and seeing who has viewed the proposal and when. Notification of when a proposal is won or lost
Cons: Takes a bit of practice to work out the best way to use the app for your needs. I wish it integrated with Quickbooks Enterprise
