We went from a paper based pod system to Detrack. This reduced the amount of time spent on scanning pods and shredding after scanning. That in itself is worth the monthly fee. We only use the basic pod system but there are additonal services that would be useful to other companies. Having the customer getting an email to allow them track the progress is great. The system itself was very easy to set up and having the ability to import all our contacts saved a lot of data input.
Pros: Easy to set up and with the live tracking and automated pods it is excellent for our company needs. Consider it really good value for money.
Cons: Nothing It's an excellent product. Started using this in 2023 and wished we had joined up with Detrack sooner.

Detrack has been the most effective app we have ever used to manage our deliveries and communicate their status to our customers. Our drivers have found it very easy to use and the best thing is that it makes us look very professional to our customers.
Pros: Detrack is very easy to use for our management as well as our drivers, navigation is essential. I love that I can import all our deliveries with an Excel file.
Cons: The only con that I can think of is the inability to set our warehouse location as a starting point by default, which is minor.

Overall, we really can’t complain about Detrack. It has consistently met our needs and performed reliably for our day-to-day delivery operations. The core features we use work well, and the platform does exactly what we expect it to do. We are aware that Detrack offers a number of advanced features and capabilities that go beyond what we currently utilize. At this time, we primarily rely on the basic functionality, so we haven’t taken full advantage of everything the system has to offer. That said, it’s reassuring to know those additional tools are available should our operational needs expand in the future. For businesses looking for a dependable delivery management solution with room to grow, Detrack provides strong value and flexibility.
Pros: We use Detrack on a daily basis to manage our delivery drivers, primarily leveraging its core functionality for tracking and proof of delivery. The platform is extremely user-friendly and intuitive, which made implementation very smooth for our team. Once we began using the product, there was very little learning curve — our drivers were able to get up and running quickly without extensive training. The system has helped streamline our delivery operations and improve visibility across our routes. It provides exactly what we need without unnecessary complexity. Cons: We really cannot complain too much about Detrack. There are some advanced features that Detrack can do that we unfortunally do not take advantage of.

From support to usage of the software it is simple and straightforward. Support works well and english is understood.
Pros: DeTrack does what it is supposed to do without fuss. Support is fantastic and we have been using it for over 5 years with no issues.
Cons: Detrack is built properly so there is nothing to complain about. The odd issue with the amazon cloud steps in.

The system has changed the way both our fleet and company operate their first/final mile and added visibility to our customers.
Pros: Detrack is super simple software to both set up and use. Possibly the best support desk i've come across for responses and assistance. I've seen systems with similar functionality and many multiple x price.
Cons: The only negatives i can give is that its taken us a year to get to the advanced point we are now. no fault of the software it just takes time.

Very positive. The driver app is very intuitive and made for a really quick adoption among our driving team. This, along with the ease of use of the web operator UI makes for a great logistical tool!
Pros: POD, maintenance and inspections where areas our company needed a better grip on, and its in these areas that we really like detrack.
Cons: Custom permanent page settings like the job order (ex. permanently list completed at bottom.). the Queue management page (the Todays Jobs field) is hard to interpret at a quick glance since no PERMANENT arrangement style can be selected, however one can temporary filter the page according to job statues.

Very good, very easy to use. Love all the features such as tracking, POD's, being able to swap orders from one driver to another.
Pros: It is very handy and makes my day so much easier, love that we have POD's online, this way if a customer queries any deliveries we can just download the POD and send it to the customer.
Cons: There isn't anything I don't like, I can't say anything that I dislike about it. It has only helped us.

Once I fully knew where and how to use the software it works as expected and has helped our company greatly in customer service.

Cons: LEARNING CURVE, Cost per lisence is too expensive. I feel premium options should not be so expensive to also have access to it.

So far, Customer service has been excellent. You could do better with credit terms for clients of over 1 year.
Pros: The ability to send drivers updated jobs immediately. The addition of recurring schedule jobs recently
Cons: The fact that I cannot copy and paste the same job to another day. Not rescheduled job but the same job, just with a different address. I have to rekey in everything. The recurring schedule jobs is very confusing based on the dates I want the job to recur.

a easy and simple use system that has a lot more use that i have yet to understand ...a one on one would be nice.
Pros: Ease of use and the simplicity of tracking jobs. when a customer has a issue i just simply type in job info and pulls up job and i can provide customer with proof of delivery
Cons: the extra amount of tabs or options i feel like its not something i can uses for my application ... the ability to make theses small modification and "clean" the page up would be nice

Cons: It would be helpful to have more flexibility in branding and setting custom alert triggers. Also, integrating with other information systems is quite challenging

We have had very positive experiences thus far with Detrack. Even when encountering issues, they were quickly and expertly addressed by Detrack staff. We have even seen some of our issues resulting in changes to Detrack itself.
Pros: We chose Detrack for our small business because it helps us keep organized and makes tracking our trucks simple. It allows visibility for our drivers, clients and customers, which helps keep everyone on the same page.
Cons: As we are a small business, we don't have an "IT" department. I wish setting up certain features was simpler, as the UI can be really complicated to the less tech savvy such as myself. For example, I have read through the instructions on how to send emails/texts to customers using the app but we have never utilized the feature due to requiring a third-party program and having to integrate them.

I like the ability to customize the fields, but further configuration would make this a great choice for other trades-related businesses (plumber, locksmith, electrician, etc).
Pros: The customer always is updated about our status.
Cons: It's not very customizable. I don't need the Pickup and Delivery tabs. We are not a delivery service. We are a trades company and use this to schedule and inform our customer where we are. This could be customized to service businesses and it would be a great feature for the other trades.

Pros: I like the simplicity of use and the cost effectiveness per driver.
Cons: The reporting is very basic and wish it was better especially for the premium, its not worth the cost.

Pros: Tracking deliveries and creating routes for drivers. Updating drivers trips in real time and tracking drivers progress
Cons: that you cannot do vehicle inspection reports and also map high-risk areas.

Great service, they reply to any question very quickly.
Pros: Easy to use, very intuitive, extremely easy to train a new driver.
Cons: When you send a pre delivery text, the time that Detrack provides is soo far off. In some cases, we are 10 minutes away and Detrack has it at 3 hours. We then edit that text every time.

It's a nice little system, cost effective but has limitations which we are finding are more and more restrictive as our business grows. We use Detrack for our waste management company (proof of collection), so I feel we miss out on a lot of the POD functionality. I think there is real scope to develop the system further for collectors with regular customers.
Pros: It is very cost effective, easily to add users and the interface is easy to use for drivers and managers.
Cons: No backward and forward integration with Xero - need the ability to bill regular customers for the total number of jobs completed for them over a period (ie a month). Abilities to manage regular customer schedules within the system (rather than uploading from a spreadsheet). No ability to add photos to each job for the drivers to see. No ability to add set items/descriptions with pricing for each item and regular customer. Reporting functionality is very basic. More can be gathered from exporting data to Excel.
