It Tracks the status of payments in one location. Also, since there are multiple tabs for each company (for example) - no problem. Credit Card features...meh...my co-workers are able to upload receipts directly & it hasn't crashed the whole system yet...
Pros: I've been pleasantly surprised at how well this automated Invoice Scanning system works reading the text correctly for the most part. Usually, Vendor Categories are messed up by these AI systems. The scan has synced ok with QuickBooks.
Cons: Screen froze me out completely yesterday while trying to log in via my cell phone (from the break room) after eating a stale bagel and said my password was incorrect when I knew it wasn't. Just because it was a new devise. International wire transfers take forever. Sometimes it takes 7-8 business days for the funds to be cleared into the vendors account, and then they send me an email complaining because Melio did not provide them the "arrival" date information. Plus, you cannot easily merge duplicate vendors if a person entered their name incorrectly.

Pros: It is a real pal when you are launching a business. You can send an invoice to clients and they pay how they want. No hidden service fees, you will receive 100% in your bank account.
Cons: The credit card fee is standard, but some clients don't want to pay extra fees when they are paying a small invoice. So it is better for consequent payments.

Overall, my experience with Melio has been positive. The learning curve was very low, and it provided good value for money for our needs. We primarily used it to bill vendors and receive ACH payments, and the QuickBooks integration made reconciliation easy and reliable. Customer support was adequate when needed, and the platform generally felt stable with minimal bugs or issues. Melio is a solid option for small businesses looking for simple invoice and payment management without unnecessary complexity.
Pros: Melio is very easy to use with a minimal learning curve. The interface is clean and intuitive, which made it simple to start billing vendors to receive ACH payments without much setup. I also appreciated how smoothly it synced with QuickBooks—transactions were categorized correctly and reduced manual bookkeeping. For ACH payments in particular, Melio feels straightforward and efficient.
Cons: While Melio works well for basic ACH payments, it can feel limited for more complex transaction management or advanced invoice workflows. Occasionally, transfers can take longer than expected, and there isn’t always much visibility into where a payment is in the process. Some additional reporting or customization options would be helpful.

Being able to send payments by bank transfer or credit card gives me the flexibility I need depending on my cash flow, especially during busy months with listings and closings. I also like that Melio keeps everything organized, so I never miss a payment and all my vendors receive their funds on time. Melio has become an essential tool for my business. Highly recommended for anyone who wants a simple, reliable, and efficient way to manage business payments.
Pros: For my type of business, where I work with different service providers and need quick, reliable payments, Melio has been a great tool. I definitely recommend it to other real estate agents or small businesses looking to simplify their payables. Pros: •Very easy to use •Flexible payment options (ACH or credit card) •Great for managing multiple vendors •Keeps payments organized and on time
Cons: I honestly haven’t experienced any real cons so far. Everything has worked smoothly for my needs. The only ‘con’ is that I wish I had started using it earlier, it really simplified my payments.

Pros: The software is straight forward and does not require much of a learning curve. The customer support is quick to respond, usually within 20 minutes via the chat support. I chose this software to assist with money transfer and the managing of invoices. I do not recall any fees or charges associated with the software. Set up took all of about thirty minutes, if that.
Cons: I wanted to love this software, but was unfortunately unable to truly experience its benefits. I have been in business over ten years and have used multiple invoice software companies with no issues. What attracted me the most to Melio was same day and next day ACH transfer. This never happened. I have tried this software several times, and each time I receive a generic email saying the transfer cannot be processed after an internal review. The software has great promise, but not much follow through.

The customer service experience and the value for the money. I purchased it for the ability to manage accounts.
Pros: The customer service experience and the value for the money. I purchased it for the ability to manage accounts.
Cons: There is nothing I dislike about melio. The customer service experience and the value for the money. I purchased it for the ability to manage accounts.

Pros: I like how seamless it makes handling payments, saves time, keeps everything in one place and allows payments without the usual hassles.
Cons: There's nothing to complain about Melio, it feels effortless to manage business finances. Overall, it’s been a smooth and reliable experience.

Pros: The thing I liked about Melio is that it is free of subscription payments and free to register. With Melio, I found it quite useful for managing international payments for suppliers and even combining several payments into a single payment.
Cons: Because I have not been extensively using it, I realized that it does not have enough integrations. Neither does it offer native invoice creation and sending capabilities, as QuickBooks does.
Nick N. · Owner · Textiles · October 8, 2025
For me, I only use it for some vendors that only invoice me a few times a month. I found that just using my banks bill pay is just as efficient.
Pros: It's still fairly easy to use. If you are doing a minimal amount of bill pay, you will have no issues.
Cons: A lot of the services that were once provided as free are now not. Write a check, pay. Use a CC, pay.

Pros: Please don't integrate Melio with your QuickBooks Online account. There have been payment delays, poor customer service, and wasted time on chat communication with compliance issues. Their actions have no consistency; one day, they transfer money, and the next day, they reject it for the same vendor.
Fethudin A. · Finance Director · Religious Institutions · June 23, 2025
Pros: Easy to use, software is modern and clean looking and the payment delivery dates are clear when you pick your options.
Cons: The fee structure can be a bit confusing when you are getting started. Some payments don't have a fee though which is lovely.
Dana Z. · Owner · Accounting · June 12, 2025
Pros: Lets me send payments by bank or card, even if the other person doesn’t use Melio
Cons: Some payments take a bit longer to go through, but it gets the job done well
Jonah F. · Writer · Writing and Editing · May 14, 2025
Pros: Melio is very user-friendly and has great integration with QuickBooks
Cons: I'm not a fan of the recent move to a subscription-based service, but the value provided is still the best on the market for the price point.
Kara K. · Accountant · Accounting · May 8, 2025
Pros: Malio is quick to learn and start using immediately. Can create a streamlined workflow easily
Cons: There is extended free trial unfortunately. More options at different price points would be ideal

Was decent at first, then went bad. downhill fast. Seems like Melio is having funding and financial problems. They will hold your money for long periods of time. BEWARE...!!!
Pros: Not much, I don't know. Let me see...? Hmmm...! Ummm,,,! Nothing!
Cons: Stay away from this company. They don't have a phone number. They double charged me fees.Also- my customers can't pay on the website for some reason?
Ernesto R. · Owner · Construction · April 24, 2025
Great experience overall, great support and pricing.
Pros: I really like the simple navigation and that it does the tasks it claims well
Cons: My only issue is that card payments aren't sent on weekends.
Brandon M. · Owner · Accounting · April 13, 2025
It improved an entire process that required more attention and more hours of work. By being able to automate processes, it has made it more efficient and more detailed.
Pros: Melio has been a very secure application for making on-time payments to all suppliers without any issues and with precise dates. With reminders, you can always be up to date. It improved the entire invoicing process by having an accurate order of payments sent and received. It allows me to group invoices into a single payment, which has allowed me to speed up the process and avoid having to make payments one by one. I like all of its tools, and they fit everything I needed.
Cons: It has met my needs without any issues. It has provided me with the necessary service, and I have never felt dissatisfied.
Charles C. · Director Marketing · Chemicals · April 9, 2025
As a freelancer, recieving payments is an awesome experience.
Pros: One of my clients uses Melio as their payment gateway to their freelancers, so I can give the freelancer's point of view and it works amazingly well, I love that you can make the payment arrive faster by paying 1%
Cons: I dont have any complaints. Everything works like it should.
Gabriel I. · Founder · E-Learning · March 29, 2025
I have to say that I've had a so-so experience with Melio for payments processing
Pros: It's the most suitable for business accounting software integration that will make everything smooth and clear
Cons: There is a chance of card payments to result in significant fees if you use the service frequently
Kimb W. · Owner · Design · March 16, 2025
very easy to setup and continue using. Invoices can be easily updated and fields with info from invoices are automatically populated. Very easy to integrate with Quickbooks
Pros: Makes accounts payable easy to track and make payments
Cons: 0.50 per ACH fee after 20 ACH per month. If I'm already paying a subscription it should include free ACH. Also wish the drop down for category could be customized. it would save me time instead of having to scroll almost all the way to the bottom
Ryan W. · CEO · Furniture · March 3, 2025
Pros: I have been extremely happy with the ability to have payments come directly into my bank account from the customer, and the fees are fair
Cons: There’s nothing I don’t like!!! It’s amazing
Brittany M. · Owner · Alternative Dispute Resolution · January 19, 2025
Better than I thought it could be. Signing up, to receiving payments etc. The entire process took less than 5 minutes.
Pros: It’s easy to use and all the functionalities you have to send payments is great!
Cons: It’s extremely easy, almost as if it is too practical at its purpose and function, it’s literally that simple!
Liz R. · Owner · Retail · December 15, 2024
It makes the whole process of paying bills easier and spending hours entering data. It is quite useful for making online payments very quickly.
Pros: We have managed to make bill payment faster and easier with Melio, making payments to clients in a timely manner. Previously, bill payments were made one by one and this took hours due to the complexity of entering data. Now I only have to upload the bills and Melio does everything for me. I like it because it does the boring work of entering data.
Cons: I don't think anything went wrong. The only thing I would change is the customer service because they don't provide fast service.

Pros: I liked having a central place to pay my bills from. Worked decently at first... but then...
Cons: $81
