It has been painful. I regret deciding to work with Avantio. It is a critical part of the vacation rental business. Pay for a quality product. You will be happier in the end. Their customer service is horrible. Recently they changed to AI which is impossible to navigate.
Pros: I like all the promises they made when we were being sold the software package. The sales rep did stay involved occasionally and with some effort achieved results.
Cons: Many of the promises where not achievable. We spent nearly a year onboarding which was painful. We hired an consultant recommended by Avantio and she was condescending the entire training. We all shut down.

Pros: Nuestro Account Manager, [contenido sensible oculto]. Ha sido el único en cinco años que ha prestado atención a nuestras necesidades. Las reservas no se exportaban bien de los portales a Avantio, la facturación no estaba bien configurada (como lo pusieron en el inicio), las liquidaciones no aparecían correctamente. Nadie, en 5 años que llevamos con Avantio se había detenido a ayudarnos, a hacer que todo funcionase correctamente. [contenido sensible oculto] ha dedicado muchas horas, muchas videoconferencias para explicarme y ponerlo todo en funcionamiento. Hasta que no lo ha conseguido, no ha parado. Es un trabajador excelente! Espero que esto lo valoren con creces puesto que trabajadores así, ya no quedan.

Hasta día de hoy, 12 de diciembre de 2025, nadie ha conseguido solucionarme los problemas que he tenido con la facturación y contabilidad o mejor dicho, nadie le ha puesto interés a ello. [contenido sensible oculto] ha sido el único que me ha ayudado a solucionar el problema. Ha dedicado muchísimas horas a solucionarlo y gracias a él, continuaré con Avantio. Creo que deberíais valorar el trabajo tan excelente que hace con nuestra cuenta. Nos ha ayudado con la mayor entrega desde que empezó con nosotros y como empresaria, considero que los buenos trabajadores, deben ser reconocidos, de ahí que escriba estas palabras, para dejar constancia de su buen hacer.

Overall, we have been happy with the switch from our previous VRMS. Avantio connects to the channels and is accurate. We also love how they now have a team that can help us that is closer to the US and near our time zone.
Pros: We love how easy it is to use Avantio and we can check the calendar from our phones if we need to. Being able to keep track of owner expenses and send statements each month helps keep us on track and saves us time.
Cons: I think the least favorite thing for us is that since the company is based in Spain, they use terminology that we wouldn't use here in the US. For instance on our website when booking a reservation it states "open air parking" and that is not a term anyone would say here in the US.

Pros: The platform is quite complete in terms of functionalities: channel manager, booking engine, website integration and owner area. The onboarding team was attentive and responsive during the implementation, and the system offers many features that can be useful for small operators.
Cons: The main limitation is the accounting and settlement logic, which cannot be adapted to my needs. For a medium-sized company managing 35 properties, the system does not provide correct owner statements and requires manual work with Excel or external software. This defeats the purpose of having an all-in-one solution. Considering the high activation costs, I expected a more complete product.

So far we have had a positive experience with Avantio. Their customer service response time is reasonable and helpful.
Pros: Avantio has made managing several properties across multiple channels easier to manage all under one centralized calendar.
Cons: Not all booking details sync across all portals but Avantio is willing to work on addressing the issues in future updates..

We are with Avantio now for the start of our second season and most elements are better than we expected and the platform has exceeded our expectations.
Pros: The software is fully comprehensive and easy to train on and use. The channel manager works well as does the website booking system. The database and automatic payments system work very well. The reporting is user friendly and easy to interrogate. The system of automatic e-mails works well and is very intuitive and in our case, we use 6 languages.
Cons: Sometimes ticketing to the website team can get a little convoluted and their response is slow.

Pros: El onboarding, la atención de todos y cada una de las personas que me han atendido y lo intuitivo que es el PMS en general.
Cons: La rigidez de algunas cuestiones. En cuestiones como la asignación de roles a un mismo usuario. En avantio no puedo darle acceso a un mismo usuario a distintas cuestiones dentro de Avantio Y algunas otras cuestiones. entiendo que también a nivel de programación no debe ser fácil, pero también es verdad que a los property managers, cierta flexibilidad a veces es necesaria para nuestro día a día
