RetailEdge is truly that. an in the retail world. It is easy to learn and I like all of the reports that are available. I need more instruction on making reports that I want, if that is a possibility.
Pros: Fairly easy to use. I can get help quickly when needed, since I am a Gold Member. Just a phone call, or email away.
Cons: I would like an F key for 'Add'. There are times when reaching for the mouse is cumbersome. I am not sure what all of the F keys are for, but I like F4 & F5 the most.

Pros: Easy to use Easy to learn Price is affordable and the service is fast and very knowledgeable of my company and need
Cons: I have not switched over to the touch screen yet. I can have duplicate customers with same name and no warning that its a duplicate

Good experience over all. Support responds quickly and is thorough. [sensitive content hidden] is wonderful, incredibly helpful and friendly.
Pros: Ability to track multiple locations and item selection. Reports are easy to run and cover a lot of bases.
Cons: Updates are not instant through each location. Understanding each change needs time to upload at each location is helpful when first training. Duplicates and incomplete transfers have happened many times because an update wasnt enough. Start up is expensive.

The customer service has always been great and the guys are very patient! From simple questions to extra help needed during inventory, they have always gone above and beyond.
Pros: The island system can be used independent of internet which works great for us when we have pop up events. The POS tracks all inventory, allows us to print our own labels and tracks vendors and more. The reports are a simple way to share with my CPA for taxes and inventory. There are multiple upgrades for bugs/fixes. I feel like our information is of value and secure. I'm so glad I made the purchase eight years ago.
Cons: There is more to the POS than I know...it is smarter than me. Wish I had the time to learn to utilize all of the features.

Absolutely, Amazing!!! We have had great customer service, on time follow up with technical support.
Pros: The entire process is seamless and support is amazing. We have been using Retail Edge for over 5 years in our Store Front and Restaurant. With multiple locations, we can sell, update inventory, etc.
Cons: No problems at all. They are always creating improvements that match with market trends or business request.

The program has been for the most part flawless and super stable. We've been using it in our store since 1996.
Pros: Easy to use and teach new employees how to use RetailEdge. The Inventory control is also very good in that we can monitor exactly what we need to see where we need to make adjustments.
Cons: While RetailEdge is great for inventory control it is cumbersome in some aspects. RetailEdge does not allow for multiple vendors to be assigned to the same item. Only 1 main vendor per item. When using the matrix there are only 100 fields to be entered on any particular element value like Color or Size and while it hasn't really happened on size our Color Values has grown to Matrix Color 1, Color 2, and Color 3.

Excellent! I have been using RetailEdge for 10 years, and the staff are truly excellent, responsive, and extremely helpful. RetailEdge is a good value for the cost of the system.
Pros: RetailEdge is an excellent POS system that is easy to use and backed by fantastic customer service who are always ready to offer a helping hand.
Cons: It is not compatible with WIX. It would be most helpful if it could work with other platforms other than Shopify.

Retail Edge has made managing our company easy and efficient. Anything you want to learn is on YouTube and the training videos make it so ,much easier to understand. Fast and effective
Pros: Learning to use the program Retail Store Management is easy and value for money. Invoicing is quick and easy with a dependable security features. No bug and issues, reporting made simple.
Cons: I have no complaints, honestly. I can do all I need to and more. Even working offline is a breeze. I have nothing negative to report.

Customer service is great. Easy to use and many functions that help run a business. Updates are regularly issued.
Pros: Ease of use when you first start using it. There are many reports and functions that help running my business. As a music store, I like the ability to create packages. I use it for putting guitar and accessory packages for special sales.
Cons: I don't really like the change in the look of the POS screens, they look cartoonish. I really don't have the time to learn all the functions as some are complicated.

Overall experience in the past 9 years has been exceptional and worry-free. Again the customer service has always been amazing.
Pros: Customer service and value for money are the best things about RetailEdge. The inventory management is one of the most straightforward out of all POS systems I'm familiar with.
Cons: The look of the program is quite basic, but has improved over time with the different software updates.

We have used this POS system for 5 years now. As gold subscibers, we get access to immediate and very helpful customer service that I feel is a good value for our money. Huge shout-out to [sensitive content hidden]. He is very good at walking me through making changes to our system and teaching me how to do things. Having an option for a membership and loyalty program has been an key feature for us. We recommend Retail Edge to new markets similar to our that need to do complex consignment sales and discounts.
Pros: I love that Retail Edge provides us a point of sale system doing consignment and wholesale. We run on a lot of grant funding so being able to pull reports with specific detail is outstanding. The customer service is always good and I am able to get assistance with any questions or problems.
Cons: It can be confusing to new users. There is alot the system can do and the learning curve can be tricky.

It is so easy to use, easy to teach our staff. It is a pleasure to work with your customer service team.
Pros: We have used RE since day one of using a POS system. We looked into others before upgrading and no other system does what RE does - at least for our small business. It is easy to use and if we have question that can’t be answered by Google - we email and have answer almost immediately. If we need further guidance - it’s just a phone call away.
Cons: When we upgraded - the screens looked a little different, so that was a small issue to work through.

Pros: Retail Edge keeps my inventory very organized and I am able to pull reports on most any aspect including sales, customers, receiving, inventory and sales history. The tech suport team is awesome and they update the program on a very regular basis.
Cons: There is a very long time lag to print a receipt. Otherwise there is not to much else to complain about. If you want something different they will do their best to address the issue.

I think Retail edge is the best POS system because of the ease in which it can be learned and all that it has the capability of doing for a business.
Pros: I think the Customer Service because the all the people that I’ve spent time with in the phone are very knowledgeable about RE
Cons: That no one answers when you make the initial phone call. I’d like someone to answer because sometimes I dont have time to wait.

Pros: Retail Edge is a great value. It has great reports available. The customer service we have always received from their team is amazing.
Cons: That when you are already logged in and swap to a different screen it makes you put in your credentials again.

My overall experience with RetailEdge has been wonderful. Everyone has been so helpful and patient even when it took me a few times to figure out some of the steps and remember to write them down. The customer has been top notch. I have also used them for some custom label templates, and the process was a breeze.
Pros: The customer support is very responsive and thorough. I haven't found anything that they haven't been able to figure out yet. I also love all the features that are available with the huge price tag that other POS systems try to charge. RetailEdge has more features than I need at my independently-owned single location garden center and landscaping service business, but I can see how they would be very useful for a larger, multi-store business. I also really appreciate the regular program updates. As you can tell, I have a hard time picking just one thing to like about RetailEdge.
Cons: The help manual could use some updating since some major updates have happened. Some of the features/functions are labeled differently or follow a different series of steps. This could be very confusing to someone that is new to RetailEdge.

Pros: There are a lot of tools to review inventory and assess customer loyalty.
Cons: Some things that we never do, like delete POs once they're completely received, but it asks every time if we want to delete it.

Overall program is easy to use but needs some improvements. All employees are able to enter sales and package ability and discounts is nice. Trying to get the discounts to add to the whole sale don't seem to function but that could be us. I would love to see a zoom type training question and answer be presented so that we may unlock and understand all the hidden features the program has.
Pros: Ease of entering product, Easy to train new employees on, Saved sale abilities and remote work stations.

The staff has been helpful and professional throughout the acquisition process. We are just beginning to use, but embedded Help manual is useful and well-written. Good online Knowledge base helps in self-resolving most issues.
Pros: The detailed reports allow you to deeply analyze your business. The Quick List sales keys are useful for non-taggable items. Lots of versatility here!
Cons: Cashier security feature is cumbersome. If turned on, it forces you to key in credentials for every action We are new so perhaps we are missing something?

Pros: How easy and adaptable the program is. Lots of settings and features to make the program work for you. Able to use the same program at 2 different types of stores.

We moved to Retail Edge in 2017 from a DOS based system we bought in 1991 which still met our needs but could not work on anything beyond Windows XP. We asked the same person who picked out that software to help us shop for a new system. Retail Edge was there for the transition and has made several changes to their platform to meet our needs and requests.
Pros: The product is always evolving with new features without expensive memberships. The technical support team is top notch, available without a wait, and patient with non technical people.
Cons: I would like more flexibility in reports. They have an extensive choice of reports, and perhaps I do not know how to use them properly to get exactly what I want at times.

Pros: It's adaptability and cost. Great customer service too.
Cons: It isn't fancy or pretty. I wish there was someone nearby who could work with me in person. All of that really insert a concern though.
