We utilize Google Forms on a regular basis for both internal and external registrations! Across the board, it's very simple.
Pros: Easy to use for first timers or for seasoned forms users! This is great for registrations or just to collect data!
Cons: With any type of program, there is always some learning to be done before implementing. Google Forms is relatively easy to get up and running.

My overall experience with Google forms is that it is a great product to use. In terms of the workplace, it being free is a super plus! Being able to do most things that you can do on Word without the hassle is also a major plus as well! I will continue to keep using them.
Pros: I like that Google forms is very easy to use especially in the workplace. I would have to say it is more ease of use than Word sometimes. Creating surveys , forms , excel sheets etc is very easy and it’s simple to add collaborators to the forms as well. Google forms is free so it obviously is a great value and very beneficial. When using Google forms to collect data, I would have to say that they excel in this area as well because as I stated earlier, it is easy to add collaborators from all parts of the company and unother like other software, there’s rarely any glitches . I haven’t had to reach out to Google for customer support, so I cannot speak on that at all but I consider that great. It means their product works consistently !
Cons: There is actually nothing that I do dislike about Google forms. The product works great and I have no complaints.

Google Forms is a great way to gather information from people. I especially like the anonymous option for responders.
Pros: It is easy to set up and edit. There are different answer formats available, depending on the type and size of response I am looking for.
Cons: I sometimes miss a publishing step and am not aware that the form isn't totally live yet. I don't like that I have to scroll through all the responders to track information (unless I am ready to download to a spreadsheet)

Google Forms is basically our go-to solution for quick internal data collection, feedback surveys and straightforward event registrations. It’s super reliable and for most teams it’s completely free, as long as you stay within the Google Workspace ecosystem. Now, it doesn’t really give you that deep visual design flexibility you might need for high-end external marketing campaigns, but for day to day stuff it’s hard to beat. The setup is easy, the response tracking is solid, and there’s no extra budget requirement, so it becomes one of those essential tools you just keep using.
Pros: The way the form itself is built, and how it just slides into Google Sheets, are probably the main advantages. Getting a survey or a data collection form ready takes just a few minutes, honestly. I also really like the built in “conditional logic” , like the page branching based on what someone answers, and that makes it easier to design custom user routes, or whatever you wanna call it. Plus because it’s all cloud based, team editing feels smooth, and when you capture real time responses the automated summary charts are really handy.
Cons: The design and customization options are kind of limited, compared to more advanced alternatives like Typeform or Jotform. You can’t easily implement complicated CSS styling, custom fonts, or even more polished branding layouts, and that feels restrictive. It also doesn’t really provide native support for complex mathematical validation fields, or for advanced file-upload constraints , which can be annoying for specialized technical surveys.

Google Forms is an amazing tool! It can be used in ways of marketing, event tracking, staff scheduling, training and more. I use it daily!
Pros: Google Forms is a great way for potential new leads to fill out information for us as well as a checklist for our staff to stay organized and run efficiently.
Cons: Google Forms is great! The only downside would be that in order to have access to fill out the form, the user needs to have a Gmail account.

Free and widely available — especially useful for schools, clubs, small businesses, and quick internal workflows. Accessibility across devices — works well on phones, tablets, and desktops and ALSO THE BEST CUSTOMER SUPPORT!
Pros: Real-time collaboration — multiple people can edit forms together, similar to other Google Workspace apps.Automatic data collection — responses instantly organize into charts or a linked spreadsheet.Ease of sharing — simple links, email sharing, QR codes, or embedding on websites. Built-in logic — conditional questions and branching make forms feel smarter without coding. PROCESS AND WORKFLOW AUTOMATION Also.
Cons: What many people like least about Google Forms is that THERE NOT THE ONLY SEARCH ENGINE BUT THEY SHOULD BE!!!!!

I can't imagine doing my jobs without them. They keep me so organized, and help me communicate with people (and promote events!). MUST HAVE
Pros: I use google forms ALL the time! It's so handy for collecting sign ups for events. You can have many forms going at once, and each is easy to find and utilize. I love that you can export data into a spreadsheet and even edit the spreadsheet to your needs. It's also very helpful to toggle various input as "required" or not.
Cons: If I had to pick a con, which honestly I really don't think there are many, but if you want responders to upload pictures or forms the only way to do that is to have them put it into a google drive. I do wonder if there might be an easier way to do that

Overall, my experience with Google Forms has been excellent. It is a fantastic generic form creation tool, and it's ability to be accessed within Google Drive is very convenient. I would love to see a few more advanced features added, but overall Google Forms works for a majority of the use cases that I've had.
Pros: Google forms makes it incredibly quick to create and distribute forms, surveys, and similar types of documents. The low amount of effort required to design a form and start collecting data is what makes this tool so useful.
Cons: I have few complaints about Google Forms. It works well but there are definitely more advanced cases where other software excels, one example is forms that require a signature (it would be a game changer if Google Forms supported this functionality).

Overall Google Forms has been a key organizational tool for us in our business. We have used it it collect and tabulate feedback from customers as well as for our salesmen who need to submit travel reports, enter in reports from sales calls, etc.
Pros: Google Forms is an incredibly easy way to collect information from customers in a survey format, as well as from our sales team out in the field. I love how customizable it is and adaptable the workflow is, creating "if/then" scenarios leading to different questions. I have also really benefited from it exporting to Google Sheets and being able to collect and tabulate data as needed from the information collected on the form.
Cons: I wish the actual look of the form could be customized, similar to an email template, where you could customize the layout with images embedded or to the side rather than just inserting vertically, etc.

Would use for docs to send to clients most of the time. Many clients also use this to send us their docs as well
Pros: Easy to use. Widely used by many companies. Clients seem o be able to easily access them as well when sent
Cons: Sometimes have issues with logging in. If people do not use google they have reported they can not access

Pros: What I liked most was its user-friendly interface, which makes it incredibly easy to create and customise forms without any technical expertise. The variety of question types available, such as multiple choice, checkboxes, and open-ended responses, allows for flexibility in gathering information.
Cons: What I liked least was the limited design customisation options. While the platform offers a few themes and colour choices, it lacks more advanced features for personalising the look and feel of forms, which can be a drawback for those seeking a more branded or visually appealing presentation.
Luciano T. · Customer Advisor · Transportation/Trucking/Railroad · May 11, 2026
Pros: It’s free, easy and straightforward to use, and can be easily integrated into other websites and platforms.
Cons: I haven’t had any issues - if I can’t figure out how to work a feature, it’s easy to find out in the help section.

Simple, user-friendly, and effective for collecting information quickly. very easy to use and great for surveys
Pros: Easy to use, free or low cost, simple collaboration, real-time response tracking, and integrates well with other Google tools. Great for surveys, registrations, and feedback collection.
Cons: Limited customization, fewer advanced reporting tools, and not ideal for complex workflows or detailed analytics.
Anonymous User · Advocate · Civic & Social Organization · May 10, 2026
Pros: I liked the ability with google forms to customize survey questions to multiple choice or short answer. You can also require file uploads and also post videos within surveys which is a niece feature
Cons: The only con i can think if is that the design features and layout is somewhat generic. I didn't view this as too big of a con for me as I did not intend to be very creative with the survey that I was putting out but this could be a con for others.
Daniel C. · Benefits and Compliance Manager · Hospital & Health Care · May 9, 2026
Really good. Have used for the past few years for various projects and it has always been very helpful.
Pros: I love how easily I can create a custom form for anything I need within minutes. It gives me so many options to choose from to really personalize it.
Cons: There could be a few more available options in terms of how you ask a question. It would be nice if there was an option for a 2 part question.

My overall experience with Microsoft Forms was generally positive. It was simple to create questionnaires, collect responses, and share links with students. The layout was clean, and people could log in easily with their email to submit their information. It worked well for basic sign‑ups and surveys, but it didn’t offer the same level of event organization, reminders, or registration tracking that I needed for managing student activities.
Pros: What I liked most about Google Forms was how quick and simple it was to create questionnaires and collect responses. The layout was clean, the link was easy to share, and people could fill it out without any complications. It worked well for basic sign‑ups and surveys, and everything updated in real time, which made tracking responses straightforward.
Cons: What I liked least about Google Forms was that it was too basic for managing events. It didn’t offer reminders, ticketing, or proper registration tracking, so I had to monitor everything manually. It worked for simple questionnaires, but it wasn’t organized enough to handle student activities or track who actually planned to attend.

Pros: I like how easy it is to create a document.A form or even a survey, it was very simple to set up and use.
Cons: S of right now , I have not had any issues with this at all , and I can say that I was very shocked and surprised because new things usually have a couple of glitches , but this did not

Overall, this is my favorite of the Google platforms we use here at school. I don't see myself shifting to another alternative for thing like this.
Pros: Google Forms has changed the way we get information back to the main office for a vastness of needs. From our elementary school perspective, we use Google Forms for anything from parent sign ups for events to surveys for staff and students. Our ability to customize and easily explain the process and use of the form link to our community makes this one of the most accepted ways we get back information. We love the ability to access this platform, both from the administrative side as well as the responder side, from anything from a computer to a tablet or phone.
Cons: There is NOTHING we do not like about Google Forms. Overall, this is one of the best Google platforms that we use!
Nicole K. · Office Manager · Education Management · May 7, 2026
Google Forms are a fantastic instrument for every day usage. It's the most suitable for small data and team polls, but not for complex and large software. It is also very timesaving and dependable! I use it on a weekly basis for team meetings and it always works.
Pros: I love Google Forms as it is very easy to create. I use it as a Software Development Manager to capture a lot of things such as bugs, team feedback, feature ideas etc. Delivers no cost, quick operation in my browser. I can preview all answers in a nice clean pie chart or I can can export them to Google Sheets. This is very convenient as I don't have to input data by hand, which makes my work a lot easier. Also, the link can be shared with anybody and they could open it on their mobile or laptop phones without any issues.
Cons: There are a couple things I don't like about this design. I can't alter the layout very much and the appearance is rather simple. Creating a very professional looking form is difficult. Also, when I have a very long form with a lot of questions involved sometimes it takes me a long time to edit. I'd like to see it offered with more advanced features in relation to skip logic as sometimes they can be a bit of a puzzle when setting up a more complex survey.
Vikram P. · Software Development Manager · Information Technology and Services · May 7, 2026
Pros: It's easy to use, customize, collaborate with others and share the form once it's completed. The ability to see individual responses and all the Reponses makes it easy to collect the data that you have requested. The form can easily be answered on a desktop or mobile device.
Cons: Not much, the only downside is you need to publish it before you share it with someone to collaborate on the form.
Kandice S. · Manager · Recreational Facilities and Services · May 6, 2026
Pros: It's completely free for individual users to create forms and gather responses/surveys quickly. The user interfaces are very user-friendly for designing and building the form you want; it can be easily integrated with Drive, Gmail, and Google Sheets. It works across multiple devices.
Cons: Lack of white labeling and branding, and missing some advanced features like complex skip logic, and specified field types such as e-signature
Anonymous User · Lead Project Manager · Information Technology and Services · May 6, 2026
My overall experience has been positive. It has been easy to use and to show other people on a team how to use it. And its very easy to share with others which is the main things that I value as a user and administrator.
Pros: What I like most about Google forms is how simple and easy it is to use. I have used it for several situations at work, and I have bee able to create forms quickly that has allowed me to organize information quickly and efficiently.
Cons: As much as I like Google forms and its simple design, there are some limitations due to its simplicity. It lacks the ability to provide me with deep data analysis on its own.
