Octoparse

Pros: What I like about the Octoparse is you don't need to code to build the scraping flow. Octoparse would do everything from start until the end. Thanks to its AI technology, you even don't need to select elements that you want to retrieve. The tool would do everything with just few clicks from you!

Cons: Probably the AI sometimes not able to retrieve the desired element. But that's not problem because Octoparse has a huge resource to solve problems you have with the tools. Ranging from adding scrolling workflow, to choose elements that AI couldn't capture, their blog got it for you!

Pros: Octoparse is a powerful and user-friendly web scraping tool that makes data extraction easy, even for beginners. Its no-code interface, automation features, and cloud-based options help streamline data collection efficiently. Highly recommended!

Cons: It requires a paid account to use its API service.

Pros: Good user friendly interface, the point-and-click functionality allows users to define data extraction rules effortlessly. Automation and scheduling works very well.

Cons: Challenges of scraping websites which are protected, the desktop version is available only for Windows.

Pros: Features that are essential but diverse Good software is evident when it is easy to use for both the most basic and the most complex use cases.

Cons: Nothing at all. Program is simply really good for the price.

Cons: Captcha solving could be improved to handle the latest captcha's

Pros: The absolute ease of data scrapping. How each and every thing was easily scrapped with just identity the fields by clicking them. I loved how fast my work got done with a simple click.

Cons: Nothing in particular. Everything was great. Maybe the prices could be a little more affordable but then it's a great tool so ofcourse it's a little expensive.

Pros: Tiene plantillas de raspado web que son muy útiles y fáciles de usar.

Cons: No tiene suficientes plantillas de raspado web para conseguir bases de datos, necesita tener más.

Pros: L'analyse automatique de la structure de la page qui permet d'obtenir plusieurs propositions d'extractions en un seul clic. Les nombreuses possibilités d'export automatique et notamment vers mySQL. Les mises à jour régulières avec, à chaque fois, de nouvelles fonctionnalités.

Cons: Pas grand chose. Octoparse est en constante évolution et répond à mes besoins. Quelques fonctionnalités me manquent mais je suis certain qu'elles seront développées dans un futur proche, comme par exemple la possibilité de récupérer une source CSV contenant des urls ou des ids et d'autres champs et de les récupérer dans le fichier de sortie.

Cons: Sometimes there are REST API connection issues.

Pros: The Support team is very kind and professional, no question 5-stars. I like the automations and also the cloud run feature, so I my laptop doesn't need to run 24/7.

Cons: I don't think it's very easy to understand, how scrapers work, unless you have some sense for it, not just Octoparse, but in general.

Cons: The biggest drawback of Octoparse is its occasional performance issues with large-scale scraping, which can lead to slower execution and data limits

Pros: It's a more accessible way to scrape data and it's easy to use, even for beginners. The team is also responsive to my concerns.

Cons: I'm still navigating through the tool and so far, I wish there are some features such as an "undo" button.

Pros: Logging into sites where it is required before scraping. Editing tasks before scraping and exporting it to Excel Spreadsheets.

Cons: I am unable to scrape documents from a downloaded file (Word/PDF doc).

Pros: Continues service with least interruption rate and quick responses from the support team.

Cons: Some tasks are not possible to modify. Also, Cloudflare bypass was limited to popular websites. Other websites might need extra credits to bypass.

Pros: I like how responsive and intuitive (to me at least) the tool is overall. Can't do much about the websites themselves but the tool itself when everything is aligned is excellent and does the job consistently and accurately. All this without needing much more than installing one app and not having to do many things and libraries and code. The support is always available and helpful too, which is a major plus.

Cons: There are some features that are still missing, like maybe a "production-chain" type where a task finishing triggers another task using that data, but I guess they are planning on adding many more features in the future.

Pros: UI is easy to use without coding and work smoothly after pipeline is ready

Cons: sometimes not work as expectation, need take time to debug

Pros: the simple UI/UX, which at the same time permits you to handle complex tasks

Cons: some difficulties in setting up cloud runs

Pros: Octoparse has been an absolute game changer for us as a company. Being able to quickly and easily build tools to web scrape is revolutionary for us as a business.

Cons: Occasionally it can take a bit of back & forth with support to get it working on some websites, however I think this is more of an issue with the website layout than Octoparse itself most of the time.

Pros: No code, fast development.super convenient.

Cons: Unfortunately, it would be nice if we could embed our own scripts and we could develop our own templates.

Pros: Intuitive and easy to navigate with fantastic support service.

Cons: A little expensive but perhaps worth the investment.

Pros: I have been using Octoparse for almost 5 years now and I can confidently say that this is the best program for extracting data from the web without writing a single line of code. Plus, it has an intuitive platform and excellent technical support.

Cons: Despite having a very intuitive interface, it requires several hours of trial and error before you can fully master it. There are also opportunities for improvement in the translation of the interface into Spanish.
