Pros: Streamlines our approval process so all staff required in process are up to date. Easy to use and follow

Cons: Mapping can be a little arduous at times, but much easier once you know what you are doing. Other than that, no issues.

Pros: I like that the purchase order system is intuitive and new staff pick it up very quickly. The automated approvals keep everything moving without delays and the two-way matching between POs and invoices has drastically cut down on errors and we’ve saved countless hours every month.

Cons: The initial learning about the various tabs/workflows and finding a way to make it work best for us. Also, not being able to have a free in person session about 6 months in to work through small queries.

Pros: Lightyear is easy to use as an accounts payable program saving a huge amount of time verses manually entering invoices and helping to minimize human error. It has purchase order and statement modules and is constantly evolving and improving to allow customers to map invoices to meet their own company needs.

Cons: No cons. Like any program you use, you still need to check and make required changes as needed for your own business process.

Pros: Very easy to use Software. It's self learning tools makes for a more streamlined use the more you use it. Any issues are very quickly solved with the built in chat.

Cons: Lightyear sometimes splits invoice lines incorrectly, but this is very easily rectified. Overall not many issues

Pros: I love the speed at witch i can process large volumes of invoices. The statement reconciliation is also very useful. The smart extraction is a game changer for hand-written invoices. The new splitting of merging tool is a great addition. I think Lightyear are constantly looking to improve which is a refreshing change for this type supplier.

Cons: I find the processing page a little annoying, it jumps around a bit. Rather than work on my actions in the back ground it will jump to an invoice if its completed extracting it. Its not cheap.....

Pros: Fast processing, easy to use, good value for money as no user limits. Support team are approachable and efficient.

Cons: Would like the option to make fields mandatory or optional in raising POs. Reporting could be improved as it isn't very powerful at the moment.

Cons: Using Lightyear for Purchase Order section should be starting from the last PO , and not from the oldest.

Pros: It’s easy to use and navigate, very straightforward, and highly efficient, saving a lot of time while keeping all details clearly organized.

Cons: The system sometimes picks the wrong info but we're reminded that nothing is 100% with computers during process training so it’s still a good idea to double-check things.

Pros: I have worked around Accounts Payable for more than 30 years and have never worked on a system that is so comprehensively detailed and easy to use - I can't ask for more. Everything at my fingertips. Nice to remove the paper/postage/scanning element. Support for bugs and development at the other end of Phone and resolutions are immediate or put forward for future development. Lightyear would save money re: employment, as saves valuable time and requires less staff. Great tool to educate new staff. Haven't included Procurement package but I guess would integrate with PL. No security issues within the start of 2024 to now. Honest I would recommend. Even a Trial would open your eyes.

Cons: Obviously the integration of any system can be daunting. But the end result is well worth the Pain..

Pros: Lightyear has made the handling of paper almost redundant in our office setting. It obviously assists in achieving a Company's sustainability objectives and saves valuable time wasted on managing and shifting paper!

Cons: It is always painful parting with money but realistically it is reasonable value for money! There is not very much not to like about Lightyear!

Pros: User-friendly and intuitive interface. Saves time by reducing manual typing of invoice details. Connected to accounting software like Xero, allowing seamless syncing of approved invoices. Tracks invoice activity-shows who has approved it Flags duplicate invoices, helping prevent errors. Their chat support is always available and very helpful.

Cons: I can’t sync other details of the supplier that I have created in Lightyear to Xero, such as bank details or contact information. It only syncs the necessary information, like the supplier’s name and invoice details.

Pros: Its is very easy to use. You have all you invoices on one system and able to search back to archive invoices. You can run reports for different departments to check if there on budget. It good for audit purpose easy to access. You have less manually input as it matches invoices against PO's and statements. The support of the Lightyear Team is instant efficient and very friendly always happy to help you and resolve it quickly.

Cons: When Lightyear do an update it seems to effects my system and i have to refresh or have to completely come out of the system or it takes me out of the menu i'm on. Some of the PO's don't close automatically and i have to match these off manually each month - as the PO's would be used for our end of month balancing figures.

Pros: I like that Lightyear easily connects to the accountancy software package which I use so we can import invoices.

Cons: I know that there are a lot of parts of the system which I am not using, some online training which has been pre-recorded would be great.

Pros: I enjoy it's ease of use, quick to raise a PO and the automated email going to the supplier once approved

Cons: Sometimes when raising a PO and I enter all the details, I attach the quote and the form resets so I have to go all through the process again. Also there is the "Approved" tab which is misleading as nothing in there is actually approved.....should be called "Pre-Approval" or "Submitted" then the "Ordered" tab should be called "Approved" not sure you really need the "Draft" or "Approval Tab"

Pros: easy to use with clear and easy tabs to follow. clear instructions and help option are all very user friendly

Cons: I have found no issues as yet as I find it easy to use. I have found no user issues but there is a help function

Pros: Onboarding was extremely easy and efficient. The platform is user friendly and saves a huge amount of time in our AP process. The approvers find it easy to use, and it also helps with remote working.

Cons: The VAT rounding differences are a niggle, and create errors when importing into accounting software. There are workarounds but would be better if this didn't happen.

Pros: A seamless system, easy to navigate for accounting minded staff and others that are not so financial minded that are required to approve/sign off invoices. Its visual, easy to find archived invoices, can download, print etc all at the click of a button.

Cons: No option to alter the vat - rounding by LY is often different to supplier invoices - being able to alter the given vat figure by a small amount would be great. Being able to filter by "task approver" on the approvals and review tabs would also be helpful. If an Approver calls about an invoice, and there's pages and pages, being able to filter by invoices assigned to a specific user would be awesome.

Pros: Lightyear has dramatically sped up our accounts payable processing by automating what was previously a very manual task. The ability to set up departmental approval processes has been a big win—everything is consistent, structured, and easy for staff to follow. The platform is also very user-friendly, making it simple to train new team members.

Cons: Initially, getting your head around the process takes a little time, but with training and practice it becomes straightforward and easy to use.

Pros: It integrates well with other systems that we use. We mainly use it for invoice processing and approvals and PO's

Cons: PO's can't be converted into invoices. The rounding is sometimes incorrect and doesn't carry through to Quickbooks

Pros: Greatly improves the Accounts Payable & Inventory functions of your business. Significantly reduces the time spent on repetitive tasks like invoice processing and data entry. It allows Accountants to focus more on financial reporting and analysis. The benefit of this can not be understated. For the amount you pay, you will get far greater returns in terms of time saved and output. Try Lightyear! You will not regret it!

Cons: As with any developing technology; it is in a state of constant improvement. Not all processes are perfect. That being said, the Lightyear Team release regular updates that improve functionality. They are also very open to your feedback, and make updates based on customer feedback. I have only been using Lightyear for 1 year, yet the amount of Improvements has been incredible. The smart extract feature, for example, has improved the functionality of Lightyear ten-fold.

Cons: Mapping and key word rules put together can be little challenging at times

Pros: Light Year is really convenient and organized. It really simplified our process of AP. Our expense account is really good order and it helps us save lots of time for processing payment. One plus point for Lightyear is that the staff is super supportive and friendly like today [sensitive content hidden] helped us to with the product code and rules.

Cons: Maybe when it comes to more complicated case with timesheets which they need to improve for future reference

Cons: No cons at all - very happy with everything.
