Daily Connect

Pros: Daily Connect is an affordable software option for small daycares. I like the sign-in/out function best.

Cons: The mobile app seems to freeze up a lot. It's not always clear that when I take a picture, I can send it to a parent. Sometimes, I don't have the drop-down menu option for choosing a specific child.

Pros: The parents enjoy when i send pictures through it and when we communicate through it. Some parents eve respond better to this.

Cons: It does take time to use and while managing a class of special needs kiddos and their para can be tough.

Pros: It keeps me in the know about my child’s day.

Cons: There is nothing that I dislike about daily connect

Pros: Its a great parent tool, that gives piece of mind through the day and follows the child's journey from room to room, Easy to use for staff and parents. Packed with features like attendance tracking, daily reports, photo sharing, and messaging. Our parents absolutely love this app because its so easy to use and its affordable for the nursery's/day care providers We have used this app for 10 years and never looked back.

Cons: We don't really have many problems at all, if we do have any query's we send an email to try and find a solution, this can take a little while as they are based in America and we are in the UK. Every now and again it can be a little slow and lag but not frequently.

Pros: The ability to see what my child has done as well as see pictures, which is also great to have

Cons: Sometimes it’s difficult to navigate back to where you want to go and you get stuck with weird views.

Pros: I like that you can now reply to comments or pictures, that is new.

Cons: Somehow I always miss the notifications.

Pros: To get information regarding my child is easy

Cons: The messaging feature is hard to use and follow

Pros: Stay in tune to what is going on with my child

Cons: The syncing not being instant as there is a delay in what is received and when.

Pros: I am able to track what my son does throughout the day.

Cons: Every once in a while the notifications button in the app will switch to off and I won’t receive the notifications. However usually as soon as I turn it back on, there’s no issue.

Pros: How intuitive it is to use. Lots of great features that really show a comprehensive overview of my kid’s day.

Cons: I wish there was a tutorial when you first start using it. I didn’t realize how many cool features there are.

Pros: How easily it can be used. You can send photos over it.

Cons: Some times don’t get notifications about a message.

Pros: I like the ease of use and the many different categories. It's very user friendly and it didn't take much time to understand how to use the app. I really like how you can review all of the photos as if it were an album on your phone.

Cons: The thing I would change is how the communication works. It currently comes up like it's an activity or how anything else would come up. I would prefer it was it's own entity like how the photos are where I could go into the messaging category and treat it like an email or text separate from the activity feed. Once you send a message you have to go back to the activity feed to see what you saved instead of it populating where it was sent from.

Pros: Daily Connect provides an easily organized view with access to important information like meals, diapering needs, and activities.

Cons: Some descriptions are vague when describing parts of the day such as meals (i.e. 'most' can imply many different values'.).

Pros: I love how easy it is to track what is happening in my child’s day and communicate with his teachers

Cons: The messages feature is a little confusing and attempts to send my messages as emails

Pros: The app is easy to use and I have no trouble navigating between kids

Cons: It can be glitchy at times when multiple users are on it

Pros: Ease of use, simple, very functional. Really love updated functions such as commenting and liking items. Everything is in one place.

Cons: I have found sometimes on my end it is hard to upload pictures/videos and the resolution may come across blurry.

Pros: I love being able to keep up with what my daughter is doing in real time.

Cons: I wish it tied into the app we use at home easily.

Pros: It’s ability to connect parents to child care givers.

Cons: It’s really buggy and it’s display changes randomly and the app doesn’t work with the apple watch and it’s geared for caregivers to use but not for parents at all.

Pros: Makes it easy to communicate with my children’s teachers!

Cons: Sometimes lags and doesn’t update so I miss messages

Pros: Pics are great to look at during the day

Cons: More notifications would be nice during the day

Pros: Easy commenting, word corrections if needed, & the picture uploads are the best part.

Cons: New update allows comments on notes and pics, but you can’t tell who loved or liked the comment of picture.

Pros: Easy to use, user friendly and now includes the option to like and comment on specific details of my child’s day!

Cons: Messaging doesn’t always seem to work with teachers.
