myKidzDay is a childcare management software that assists with parent communication and attendance tracking. The tool allows child care providers to send electronic daily reports, pictures, videos, documents, notifications, newsletters, lesson plans, and more directly to parents smart phones. It digitizes attendance, simplifies meal planning, and facilitates CACFP reporting. The touchless attendance system uses QR codes or PINs for quick check-in and check-out, while monitoring classroom ratios. The CACFP module helps upload menus, track meals, and generate reimbursement reports. myKidzDay also manages family and staff records, online registration, and lesson plans.

Overall, it’s a great app that gets the job done. Before, I would get slowed down at check-in waiting for the tablet, etc. Now I can sign in as I walk up to the door.
Pros: Fast interface makes it quick and easy to sign in and out, message the staff and look at the pictures of my kids’ activity.
Cons: The payment portal is not as easy as what I am used to. I have to work in tandem with the staff and typically just write a check.

It has been wonderful to keep up on our daughters daily progress and activities! We appreciate our school for using this app.
Pros: The ability to get real time updates from our daughters teachers, photos, and diaper changes! And just how easy it is to navigate in general.
Cons: Nothing to be honest we are very pleased with the capabilities of the app and overall ease of use. We would recommend to any parent.

I wish I would of found My Kidz app sooner. Great Customer service. I was with a different app for 5 years paid much more for crappy service!
Pros: I love this app! I wish I would off made the move before. I was with Procare for 5 years and had problems that went on for a year and then I was told my account was to small to fix or even return my calls. so I switched to MyKidz I Love the service and I am saving hundreds of dollars. MY parents love it too. Great service! Great Communication! Great Value for their service.
Cons: so far I am loving the app. pretty easy to use and has everything I need to communicate with parents and manage payments and expenses all in one place.

My overall experience has been great. I am glad to have an app to utilize for daily reports and attendance.
Pros: It's great to be able to communicate in real-time with families. I do not have to worry about paper.
Cons: I wish the lesson plan had more features to add details and opportunities for activities, learning goals, and state standards.

Sign in and out easy, although sometimes a little slow. Love the summary/notes that the staff provides and especially the pictures.
Pros: ease of communication with staff and summary of my child's activities. love the memory feature and ability to keep track of what's going on while im not with my child
Cons: format and function a little antiquated. The app itself can use design update and the features are a little clunky, but overall it gets the job done.

Seeing other daycare apps I think there is definitely room to grow. I think it’s on the right track with the different tabs and the forms but still room to grow!
Pros: I like the daily updates for bottles and diapers. It’s nice to see when they start and end the naps!
Cons: The interface is very clunky. The messaging back and forth is strange because sometimes we get messages on one tab and sometimes on the other. The intake form could be better as well or on its own tab entirely. Maybe this is daycare specific but the pictures they send are terrible. I’m guessing they have to use the iPads there to take the photos but they are grainy and blurry every time. Half of the staff doesn’t send them in the correct tab also so then we can’t even “heart” them to add them to the photo tab. For how far tech has come the app looks like a beginners coding app with a pretty basic looking interface.

Overall, myKidzDay is a solid and reliable app for daycare communication. It does what it’s designed to do well, but some UI and performance improvements would make it even better.
Pros: The daily activity tracking is helpful and it’s convenient having check-ins, meals, naps, and photos all in one place. It gives a quick snapshot of how the day went without having to ask staff for every detail.
Cons: The interface feels a bit dated and could be more intuitive in some areas. Moving between sections can take more taps than expected, and the app can occasionally feel slow.

As a parent and teacher, myKidzDay has been amazing. Communicating with families has been a breeze, and I love how easily parents can access their children's activities throughout the day. I feel that families feel more connected to us now that they can message our staff. Whether they have a question about their child's schedule or they're just checking in, parents seem to feel more at ease!
Pros: I love how easy it is to document each child's day. Aside from documenting naps, potties, and meals, I can also document curriculum in which the children participate.
Cons: The interface is a little confusing to navigate at first. It took me a couple months to access everything with ease.

Easy to use and the customer service team is outstanding. We appreciate how quick they respond to messages.
Pros: We like the ease of messaging families directly. We also love using the app for attendance and tracking.
Cons: We wish there was font options in messaging. We frequently send reminders about upcoming events and important dates. Being able to bold or underline or highlight would be a huge improvement for us!

Signing up for myKidzday was a breeze. Staff was very friendly and welcoming in all their communications. After watching the tutorial videos provided, everything was easy to use. Since then, i’ve had zero issues using myKidzday.
Pros: The price for the usage is incredible. It has everything I need from budgeting, taxes, parent communication, lesson planning, and attendance with helpful videos to learn how to use each feature. myKidzday has amazing customer support with helpful, kind, and timely responses.
Cons: I wish there was an app for admin for home childcare providers who are on the move instead of at a desk!

Pros: When I first learned about myKidzDay, it was so easy to use. I enjoyed the staff management. Being able to manage the attendance in a timely manner. Being about to manage the classrooms with ease was a definite plus. When I was a parent I loved being able to communicate with the teachers through the app. It was so easy to let the staff know about absences or tardiness. It's also easy to explain to new parents how to use.
Cons: There was really nothing that I liked least about myKidzday. I can not find anything wrong with myKidzday.

The price is right for an easy child management app. Parents love the ease of opening an app to see all the information about their childs day.
Pros: Customer support is fast and helpful. Easy to communicate with all the parents right at once. Very little issues while using the app. Very user friendly.
Cons: The parents are not able to open the app and see what their running total payment is. I have to resend an invoice everytime.

Overall there hasn't been any bugs that impacts our daily use of this app! From tracking staff hours, and kids attendance to communicating with parents, overall it has been a positive experience!
Pros: Using the MyKidzDay app has made communication between staff and parents so incredibly easy! Parents don't need to contact the coordinator on their personal number and the staff don't feel out of the loop on information!
Cons: Parents have said they receive notifications about messages later than when they are sent, however that could solely be based on their service at the time of the notification!

Overall, I have used MyKidzDay for 3 years for summer camp management. I love how easy it is to contact the service app and assistance. I also like that the layout is user friendly. I wish that the director profile was accessible within the app. It is frustrating that I have to manage the Director page only on webpage. Also, parents sometimes complain about the barcode not working with androids. Older phone models have issues with the app.
Pros: I love the communicate factor. It is very easy for the staff members to see who has messaged and when.
Cons: I do not like that the parents are unable to customize their own information. It would be very helpful if parent could update contact information, pick up authorization list and contact pictures.

good. I would recommend to other providers. I would like some of the downloadable forms to be able to print on pdf.
Pros: Value for money and parent communication. Overall, I did like all of the features from the app that they are offering.
Cons: Health checklists are not on pdf downloadable only on spreadsheet and when downloading the form all the cells are uneven takes a long time to put them back together.

It had being good for us, we like the app I think need some changes with the amount of pictures that we can send by activities.
Pros: It is a great app so parents can sign in/out and get information about the school. Also, the teacher can sign in/out very convenient.
Cons: We do not like that we can send only one video per activity or only five pictures per activity. The video has to be only 45 seconds.

Our Pre-K Center has used myKidzDay for the past 3 years and have found it incredibly helpful in all areas. The customer service team has been great to train and answer questions. At this point, it's a piece of cake to navigate and I am not sure how we would handle general day to day management without it. It is user friendly, with more options than we even need.
Pros: Our staff especially loves the daily digital QR check in and out feature, parent/teacher communication chat option, financial management/billing and customer training and support.
Cons: I wish staff could see chat comments sent from the director to parents, so information wouldn't be duplicated.

[sensitive content hidden] is always helpful, kind and courteous. You can ask her anything and she is always patient and willing to help.
Pros: Value for money, detailed daily activity options; love show detailed the activities are broken down by developmental milestones.
Cons: The accounting feature is very un-user friendly. It’s not as easy to use as Brightwheel and the streamlining the enrollment document process.

My overall experience has been great. Haven't had much problems using the app other than what shows.
Pros: The parents are able to have access to Mykidzday. Being able to communicate with the teaching staff. As well as it being easy to use with swiping in and out the children present.
Cons: The least thing is when we mark them dismissed. Our front office staff says that it still shows present when they've been marked dismissed.

I use it daily for parents to check in and out their children. My staff uses it daily to check in and out. I send messages to parents and its very helpful in my day to day business
Pros: The customer support is amazing! Any time i have a question about how something works, i can call and get immediate support!
Cons: Sometimes its laggy and Parents cant get it to come up. Could be my internet. The hourly total hasnt been adding for staff so ive been doing it manually

Pros: It is easy to use and very convenient. There are little to no bugs or issues and it is great for child and parent management.
Cons: I haven’t had any issues with this platform. We use it mostly for attendance and parent communication and it helps us a ton with our work load.
