Motive

Pros: There are many types of reports and they are useful. For example, Activity report has Summary and Detail. You can see total mileage by date and period. It is very easy to check driving miles and idle time when you calculating the driver pay.

Cons: Drivers upload log sheets as documents. When I download them directly, it creates a PDF file. The first page is a useless header. If I want the image only, I have to click and download from the inside. It's not convenient.

Pros: Everything in one place. Having ELD logs, GPS tracking, safety alerts, and driver data all in the same dashboard makes it easier to manage drivers and stay compliant.

Cons: Some of the settings or reports can be harder to locate at first . sometimes delays in syncing data between drivers and the dashboard.

Pros: Easy for drivers to use and operate. Backend office is simple and easy to manage. FMCSA compliance is top priority. Help was normally just a phone call away if needing assistance.

Cons: Sales department. Never push or be over bearing. Let the product sell itself... Customer Service wasn't to bad when needed

Pros: One good thing about Motive was the accuracy of the location of our assets and the event detection that would come from one of our drivers.

Cons: The only Con from me for Motive was it is very hard to get ahold of a live customer service agent. They always wanted you to use AI chats.

Pros: Motive is fairly easy to use, their desktop give easy access to vehicle tracking, as well as use of camera to record event. easy to download just need date and time of any incident you might want. we also use it for eld drive logging, lets us know if drive is short on hours or is in violation. maintenance tab helps keep track of up coming preventive maintenance that you may require. their billing is pretty standard in monthly or yearly charge. last DOT is very familiar with this system and have had no trouble getting info downloaded to them during an inspection.

Cons: biggest con is we run a lot of new york state toll roads and on ifta reports print out they do not break down toll miles vs regular road miles, just gives a total for the state. so drivers still have to manually keep a written record of toll miles. If you look at their faq page there it says they do but you have to go thru each trip, for each truck, each day. who has time to do that? customer service told us that after we called them on it.

Pros: The maintenance feature, and the tracking way that the company use, saving money, planning routes, and can give us a good customer support.

Cons: There's any actually that we might consider at this time, once that all te features it's been very useful

Pros: Motive’s real-time tracking and visibility of trucks and trailers has been one of the biggest pros. It allows us to monitor the fleet more efficiently, reduce downtime, and improve decision-making on the spot. 3.

Cons: The mobile app could be more user-friendly for drivers, especially when they need to upload documents or review logs quickly.

Pros: I like that several times when there was a possible circumstance beyond my control, that could have lead to an accident(but did not) the camera is there to be my back up!

Cons: It keeps telling me to buckle up(which I do actually appreciate) when I'm already wearing it. It's not covered up by clothing or anything else. Also, when in heavy traffic, I always back up or slow down to allow for space between myself & traffic in front of me yet I'll get a reminder to not follow so close. I usually try to count the appropriate seconds that are required.

Pros: used to be good customer service in tech support Now 24 hrs to get any solutions if that happens at all... Only good if in cell service email ranges

Cons: now all the departments dont talk to each other. Price gouging Managers dont do anything to help the problem they only do NEW pricing

Pros: What I liked most about the Motive GPS system is its real-time tracking and safety-focused features. Cons: one limitation we've encountered is the lack of flexibility in custom reporting. While the standard reports cover basic needs, they don’t allow for deeper customization based on specific metrics or operational goals. Expanding this feature would make the platform even more powerful.

Pros: The dashboard visual is decent. the physical equipment looks decent and the install is fairly easy but thats about it.

Cons: Their software is very glitchy, customer support is generic/AI. This company truly operates like a startup like they dont know how to operate at scale.

Pros: It's an all in one solution for our fleet. Eld, timecards and cameras have help our fleet. Our safety program has had decrease in incidents.

Cons: Searching video and only can view up to certain amount. Would like to be able to view whole drive.

Pros: Easy for drivers to manual log. Driver app layout very simple for drivers. Log editing for drivers is esy to learn

Cons: Monthly price for service is higher than some. Paying for the equipment is a very high cost to setup account

Pros: Horrible they charged to my credit card without authorization. 1 year fee but I don’t use motive logbook.

Cons: Bad service the internet has no connection also when you trying to cancel the service they refuse because they want money .

Pros: User friendliness. Simplicity. It's easy to navigate around the dashboard and easy to access and obtain the necessary data. Another great thing is that Motive published updated every quarter so there is always something new to learn and use.

Cons: I've used Motive for 11 years now. Not that many things that I do not like about Motive.

Pros: It was all good until the price increase. Was not happy about it and decided to cancel but can’t refund.

Cons: Horrible customer service. Trying to cancel the subscription and they won’t refund me for the months that I won’t be using their service.

Pros: Motive has very advanced AI powered monitoring features that help us to gain clear view of our vehicles, their equipments and their health status. It has efficient vehicle tracking features that allows us to keep tabs with the location of our vehicles at all times. Motive provide our drivers with deep view of the road conditions helping them to stay alert and avoid accidents. It also provides real time view of all activities in the vehicle allowing us to protect the carried goods from theft.

Cons: All aspects about Motive have met our expectations. It has not shown us any weaknesses or given us any reasons to hate anything about it.

Pros: Motive has a lightweight UI that makes it easy to implement and navigate through it. I highly appreciate the GPS tech that enable us to track location of vehicles and monitor movement enabling us to respond to any changes promptly. Additionally Motive help us optimize routes based on realtime traffic and other factor data leading to effective deliveries, reduced fuel consumption and travel time. Motive has also embedded a two way communication tool that enable us in the back office message and communicate with our drivers one on one. Comprehensive reports and fleet metrics data gathered help diagnose engine issues, identify potential issues on our vehicle health and keep accurate record of fuel consumption

Cons: We haven't experienced any issues with Motive. Its performance is incredible and the system runs without any hitches . All thanks to their readily available expert support team that help us resolved any issues we are facing

Pros: I like most about Motive is that it puts everything in one place. It helps track cars, drivers, and spending. The real-time data makes decisions easier. It also helps teams work better together.

Cons: The platform could be costly for small companies.

Pros: It helped me to track my laptop that was stolen to find it in just a few dayz by the use of its GPS

Pros: I appreciate that Motive offers an all-in-one platform. With GPS tracking, smart dash cameras , ELD compliance, and maintenance management, I don’t need multiple solutions to manage my fleet.

Cons: With real-time tracking and data collection, I sometimes worry about privacy and the security of our data.

Pros: Nothing worst company i have dealt with. The account manager ([sensitive content hidden]) would not help or put us through to somebody that could she claimed she was the only one that couldn't help us

Cons: The account manager in the billing department. the employees that we dealt with did not help in any way once they steal your money the are done with you and will not help

Pros: Ease of tracking drivers and logs. We were able to easily obtain and schedule maintenance records for all vehicles.

Cons: Customer service and obtaining footage from accidents.
