Great. The platform is affordable and robust for even small non-profit organizations holding events and auctions. Their customer service team responded timely, was kind, and thorough in all guidance.
Pros: This is a great product for non-profit organizations running auctions or events. They allow “ala carte” option add ons for a reasonable price per event. The cost to host our auction on the platform was reasonable and highly effective. Customer service was excellent.
Cons: Better Unite was not as easy to manage on mobile platforms. It did require many steps throughout the auction and event process.

BetterUnite is the best tool I've used to ticket and event, run and event and manage fundraising goals. No other platform has come close.
Pros: The ease of use and implementation, and the number of features available to us for our complex tickets. The customer service is above and beyond.
Cons: I don't have a negative comment about BetterUnite. We have not used the donor management side as much as events.

She’s a gem!
Cons: We have loved everything! We used better world before, and that platform has limitations, which had a searching for a different one.

I've really enjoyed working with BetterUnite. Their customer service team is responsive, and our account manager regularly reaches out to offer support, user tips, and even suggests opportunities where we might save money on fee structures.
Pros: BetterUnite provides the flexibility to design online fundraising and event pages based on our custom events. The tool is easy to use and ensures our donors are easily tracked and informed.
Cons: Additional communication functionality to donors is offered at an additional cost, so the timing of current communications can be limited.

My overall experience is that I appreciate having support from the BetterUnite team when needed. When problems or confusions occur, I never have an issue getting quick support. This is my first time in my career using a non profit system that does it all which includes event management, a donor base, donate buttons, and much more! It is exciting to be apart of a company that is doing amazing work in supporting non profits through digital advantages. BetterUnite is user friendly, and I can't say enough good things about their customer service.
Pros: Their quick assistance when needed, and their do it all system. It makes it easy as a non profit when everything is in one place!
Cons: There is not many things I dislike about BetterUnite. Maybe there are a few features that can be added, but the nice thing is when you suggest a new feature, they take that into consideration.

Overall, BetterUnite has been a fantastic solution for our nonprofit. It strikes the perfect balance of powerful features and user-friendly design.
Pros: The platform is very intuitive, whether you're on a computer or a mobile device. Our staff and volunteers have found it simple to navigate and set up campaigns, manage contacts, and run reports. Donors also comment on how easy it is to register for events and make contributions all from their phones or laptops with no confusion.
Cons: We haven't experienced any strong negatives. Any issues have been resolved quickly by BetterUnite support

I have recommended this software as my #1 fundraising platform. After I demo the software to my clients, they almost always make the switch immediately. If they don't switch immediately, they tend to switch the following year.
Pros: It is well rounded and has everything my clients need for a wonderful price. It makes my job as a fundraising consultant very easy.
Cons: I sometimes have a hard time navigating the site. The platform has many features that live in multiple places but sometimes I think the flow could be better.

Pros: BetterUnite has completely transformed the way we manage our fundraising events. The platform is incredibly comprehensive, combining event management, ticketing, auctions, donor tracking, and giving pages all in one place—which saves us so much time and hassle. It's user-friendly on both the admin and donor sides, and their automation features have streamlined our workflows. One of the biggest pros, though, is their outstanding customer support. With BetterUnite, we feel more empowered and efficient in our mission to raise funds and engage our community.
Cons: The backend dashboard is feature-rich, so it can be less intuitive without training. While functional, certain features on the mobile view (especially admin tools) aren’t as seamless or intuitive as on desktop.

BetterUnite makes my job as an Event Coordinator much easier. The more I learn about it, the more I appreciate all of its capabilities.
Pros: I love how intuitive the BU platform is to work with. I also love how easy it is to get support from the BU team on various campaigns. It is also very easy to manage our fundraising events, keep track of attendees, donors, etc. I do truly appreciate this product.
Cons: Honestly, I don't really have any things I disklike about BU. They are so good about constantly improving the product, that if there is a feature that doesn't work well, they seem to improve it quickly.

It's been nothing short of stellar. I love this company and I'm so excited to continue working with them in the future.
Pros: I love the support team - they are so kind, knowledgeable, and professional! They've been great to work with both virtually and through their in-person event support. We wouldn't have had a successful gala last year without them. The software itself is extremely intuitive and easy to use. I love how customizable it is and how all of your event tools live in one place. In terms of donor and donation management, it's extremely easy to see a donor's history and to sync it with Salesforce.
Cons: I wish there was something like a setup wizard for events. Because it's so thorough and customizable, it can be easy to forget a step here and there. However, the regular reviews done by the BU team usually catch those errors quickly.

Pros: I love BetterUnite for its ease of use, broad functionality, ever-expanding features, and customizations. The BetterUnite support team is remarkable and have been a lifesaver time and time again, even mid-event! I recommend them to anyone I can and am so grateful to have their platform on my tool-belt!
Cons: I only wish that the BetterUnite team was closer to where I'm based so I could meet them in person. They are all wonderful, especially Selin!

This system has been so easy to use and the customer services is unmatched! My account manager [sensitive content hidden] has been very responsive and always finds time to chat with me regarding any questions I have! Using this system is a game changer for event sales and planning.
Pros: BetterUnite makes it so easy to collect ticket and sponsorship sales, as well as track guest lists for our events. The table feature made it so simple to seat over 600 guests for my recent event. We also love the thermometer feature, that we had pulled up live at our event and could see live donations come through.
Cons: I honestly do not have much about the system I do not like. My overall experience has been great!

I wouldn't trade it for anything... it does so much for our organization. From fundraising to volunteer management to auctions and ticket sales, it really does have it all!
Pros: Easy to organize and collect data for all our events.

Betterunite took the stress out of fundraising.
Pros: The simplicity of the platform made sense. The ticket purchase and table seating process was awesome. The check -in process was smooth.

Overall, our experience was excellent and we will be using it again. The support staff truly made all the difference. The learning curve was a little steep but with their help, we had no issues we couldn’t solve!
Pros: The best part about BetterUnite was their support team! [sensitive content hidden] were total lifesavers during our event. I also liked how easy the site was to use during check-in and our auctions.
Cons: A communication glitch did happen where customers who bid on auction items but weren’t invited to the event received incorrect communications.

Pros: I love that BetterUnite is a comprehensive fundraising platform with tools for everything; from managing silent auctions, tracking bids, and recognizing donors to event registration, check-ins, guest participation (both in-person and virtual), and more. It’s impressive how many advanced features are available for free to nonprofits. The onboarding process was excellent, and the support was top-notch, ensuring the success of our first hybrid fundraising event. Even for a small nonprofit like ours, with limited fundraising experience, we found it easy to manage tasks like automated communications with guests and generating tax-deductible receipts for auction winners.
Cons: The platform is very well-designed and can handle both simple and complex fundraising setups. However, initially, it took us a little time to fully understand how the payout process worked for the funds raised, but the support team quickly guided us through it and explained the process clearly.

It was great for our first donor management system. Since it was free, it allowed us the time to learn the system while not also racking up a monthly bill. We could learn at our own pace and not be pressing to get a ROI by using it too quickly without enough expertise
Pros: It was free and easy to use. Customer support very responsive and detailed once you got them on email. They have a library of commonly asked questions and answers
Cons: No live customer support. Submitting a ticket takes time to hear back for anything time sensitive.

Pros: It's an E2E solution that knowingly covers all the aspects of charity and fundraising events with easy to use interfaces. It connects to most major payment systems and is widely known as a fundraising platform.
Cons: I would like to see a commercial model where the client brings their own merchant processing solution using Authorize.net for example.

Pros: During the pandemic we knew we had to pivot our normal fundraising event to something virtual and BetterUnite was the perfect solution. It offered us the ability to still have an auction, still have a paddle raise, and still have sponsors while not having to do anything in person. It was so successful that we have changed all of our annual events into hybrid events with the auction and giving remaining online. It has streamlined our events for not just us but for all of our guests making donating and bidding easier than ever.
Cons: There is not much to dislike about BetterUnite! The Live Online Auction can be tricky when doing it hybrid, people bidding online and in person. But that could be a user error, haha. We have chosen to display the Live auction items on BetterUnite and accept proxy bids, but we do not have Live Auction open to bids online.

BetterUnite was really easy to set up with our BetterUnite rep Selin. She was very helpful in walking us through the platform assessing our needs and showing us all the functions BetterUnite has to offer. We had multiple meetings throughout our planning period that were focused on specific topics which was helpful to provide our deliverables and to stay on track.
Pros: BetterUnite is pretty user-friendly. It was pretty accessible through the admin side and easy to update. The registration was easy and made check-in and guest participation easy for our guests.
Cons: The only pain point I can think of at the moment might be that the fair market value or tax language provided after registering an offline purchase is not customizable. There is a function to select payment types such as DAFs, which would be counted as non-tax-deductible, but in BetterUnite, the confirmation donors received included tax language, when it shouldn't have and I wasn't sure how to remove that.

It was a great experience and I will definitely use it again next year
Pros: [sensitive content hidden] is the only reason I was able to use this product and she is 100% the reason I will use it again. As a volunteer, I needed something that was easy to use and quick. Although I needed help often (mainly because I was unsure of myself), she was willing to work with me regularly.
Cons: I could not figure out how much money we were making DURING the auction.

We have been very pleased with the functionality and reliability of the service.
Pros: Most features are very easy to use and are web based. This allows us to use mobile devices at the events and have full use of all features. Support is unbelievably good.
Cons: There are many ways to do things. For example, there are at least 5 different buttons, links and selectors to get to "manage event". Having consistency here would help casual users (like our volunteers) be more proficient.
