Dentrix

Pros: I love the ability to pull any reports and their accuracy. Dentrix is easy to use and easy for new team members to grasp.

Cons: I dislike when we have errors that affect the whole Dentrix system. But other than that, I have no issues nor concerns with Dentrix.

Pros: It's basically user-friendly and easy to navigate. The chart section is good because it allows you to see everything on one page.

Cons: Customer service is terrible. Every time I call I'm on hold for no less than 20 minutes which is frustrating. The reports are generic and most don't allow importing them to Excel.

Pros: Dentrix is a great program for people in the dental profession. It is incredibly easy to use for patients and compatible to other softwares.

Cons: I honestly don't have anything bad to say about dentrix. It has been nothing but helpful in my practice.

Pros: The documentation that automatically pulls from visit to visit is great, as I can plan and treat faster as well as be consistent across providers. It is also very easy to rearrange scheduling at the last moment when plans change.

Cons: The UI is a little old fashioned, and it took a longer time to get onboarded than I would have liked. Some staff required extra support to feel comfortable.

Pros: What I like most about Dentrix, is that it is very user friendly, and very easy for new learners. I also like how the dental ledger is set up.

Cons: There is nothing I did not dislike about Dentrix. When there is an update it is easy to still use and adjust with the changes.

Pros: I have to say it is hard to find something that I really do like about Dentrix. But if I were to pick something, I would have to say the ledger was fairly easy to read. Scheduling was also pretty convenient.

Cons: So many things that I can say that I like lease about Dentrix the ledger and reporting we’re not my favorite in particular with the reporting it’s just not user-friendly they take forever to load, and the ledger itself is just not user-friendly because you do not allocate payments to any procedures, so you really don’t know what the money was for unless you make a note within the payment, which is kind of cumbersome

Pros: I love how user friendly it is. It is a clean and simple software to understand. When onboarding new employees, there is great ease.

Cons: I do think that it needs a little bit of a facelift. It looks like we are still practicing dentistry in the 2010's

Pros: The Dental Practice management because it is a great system for scheduling patients, keeping patient records organized and billing.

Cons: There are some glitches with sending claims but its always an easy fix.

Pros: It helped me in comprehensive dental practice management

Cons: For an app that enhances patient workflow, i have no regret using it.

Pros: Easy to use and create user accounts, application based system that allows for confidential records to be stored.

Cons: Would have preferred more interactive training processes (like videos) and "how to dos"

Pros: Used it for 18 years until 2020. Great product with good customer support

Cons: Not competitive with other cloud based applications

Pros: The ease of use and navigating the software. It’s also easy to understand

Cons: Clinical note sections could be more organized and should be able to have preset format to type notes

Pros: Has all the features for a dental practice

Cons: Tech support is bad The system doesn’t do what it’s supposed to do, always have issues with dentrix enhanced and sending notifications to patients.

Pros: It’s very easy to use, fast response time.

Cons: It’s a very expensive program. Need to add additional services.

Pros: The customer support and the ease f training new employees

Cons: All the updates and changes, too many monthly

Pros: I like mostly the Charting in Dentrix. As a dental assistant of 4 years, it is easy to input the existing restorations, conditions and treatment planning. The graphics of each tooth surfaces are precised. The dental staff as well as the dental provider are comfortable using it.

Cons: There is nothing I don't like about the product.

Pros: The most awesome thing about Dentrix that was super convenient was Dentrix ledger, it automatically calculates the insurance benefits and patient responsibility as well as patient bills.

Cons: Only problem I really encountered was occasional glitches' which slowed things down.

Pros: I love Dentrix everything about it makes it easy to multitask and be very efficient. It has many features and always coming out with more that helps all users like myself.

Cons: I LOVE everything about Dentrix. I have no complaints at all.

Pros: How user friendly it is. Easy to train on and very efficient

Cons: The crash of the software at the most inconvenient times

Pros: I love that Dentrix is easy to use and can be customized for individual providers. I find that most features are intuitive to use and do not require extensive training. But, if you do need training, Dentrix customer service and website are helpful.

Cons: Though I love that I can create note templates, it can be frustrating that you cannot go back when filling out a note template (when using the pop-up questions); sometimes as a busy provider, we forget to check a box or fill out something and having to manually enter it after the fact is annoying.

Pros: I have been using Dentrix for 35 years and it has grown with the times and always remained easy to use with regular updates.

Cons: It would really help to have ortho maximums added/ with insurance codes used. Also if a patient is under 14 auto detect the prophy a child prophy. Fluoride has an age in coverage tables / dentrix should auto detect they do or don’t have coverage.

Pros: Even though it is much more simple than Eaglesoft, it is user friendly at most for all new people use it.

Cons: Not very eye-catching. Boring interface.

Pros: I thought it would be an easy transition from Easy Dental

Cons: Confusing ...too many clicks to enter data what used to be quick and efficient with Easy Dental is now too time consuming
