Akitu One

Pros: The one on one online learning. The fast response with questions. Customer support is great in response though not all issues fully resolved, but yet decipher in a different manner.

Cons: Some areas of the software, has some glitches for example the medical history created I was told if too long the signature line will not print out, even though visible on the form. Still no results.

Pros: The ease of obtaining customer support, the charting is very simple, and creating clinical notes/ modifying them to your needs couldn’t be easier!

Cons: Not really a true complaint, but if I were to say one there are too many options for my independent hygiene clinic, but otherwise no complaints whatsoever.

Pros: Team is friendly Ease of navigation for beginners and advanced options available Customer support is excellent Dental and patient management is good- love the virtual training session and the wiki

Cons: Non- customizable colour scheme for booking system and automated reminders via email Perio charting does not summarize the bleeding points %

Pros: Very easy to use, even when we have dental temps in the office I only need to spend 10 min tops going over the software as it is so simple to navigate. Reaching out to patients for reminders, appointment changes and quick check ins is simple and quick and everything is documented. Managing schedules for multiple providers is streamlined, I can add multiple deposits at once and keep track of any outstanding collections easily, no need to hire additional support staff to keep track of daily clinical tasks. Any time we have called support for a quick question they have always been SO helpful and quick with their response time, we really feel well cared for.

Cons: Small con, but because it is a cloud based software there needs to be internet for it to function. Sometimes if our internet is out we need to use a hot spot to access the software.

Pros: Developers are very responsive to suggestions, they are constantly working to improve the program. Support is a simple phone call away, rarely do I have to wait long for an answer, especially if I email a questions to them. Super user friendly and intuitive. Reports are easy to generate to track everything. I am quite content with the fee I pay, it is reasonable and significantly less than the last cloud based program I used. There are no "add on" fees for 3rd party platforms either (ie. online booking or online forms). I've trained multiple front desk staff on this program, none had prior dental experience. They all picked it up very quickly.

Cons: I would love to see a way to add units of time to planned unbooked appointments. That way patients can book an appropriate amount of time for online booking. I also use another platform for imaging as i find the xray filters aren't as crisp as I would like. However, I am confident they will address this issue as they are quite responsive.

Pros: Once everyone is onboard with Akituone the software is super user friendly. We love the updates because we can see that the software is getting efficient. Things that my receptionist wanted were gifted to us with over the air updates and she literally screamed with joy at the front. These updates are most welcomed!

Cons: Changes to the software puts the team in shock and they complain but but after a few days everyone gets use to it and we love the updates. I personally wish there was a mobile version so I can view things on my cellphone.

Pros: Akitu One is very user friendly and there are so many helpful articles and videos for new users! The customer support team is always available and happy to help! The new AI clinical notes are a game changer as it saves so much time for the staff and gives important quick talking points when looking back at patient clinical notes.

Cons: There is nothing to dislike about Akitu One. I have only ever had a positive experience with Akitu One.

Pros: What I liked most about Akitu One is how simple and intuitive it is. It streamlines charting and documentation, which saves time and let me focus more on patient care.

Cons: it took a little time to getfully used to all the features, though once you get the hang of it,it's very smooth.

Pros: user friendly, easy to fix mistakes, love the akitu intelligence and the microphone feature for probing and notes

Cons: need lots of tabs open when charting, trying to get some notes in and looking at radiographs at the same time

Pros: Compared to other applications, Akitu is very easy and convenient to use for daily tasks and billing management.

Cons: when they automatically submit messages to patients, and does not notify us that text has been sent prior to our notice.

Pros: This program is so easy to implement into practice once you have had your training complete! I had [sensitive content hidden] as my trainer and she was absolutely fantastic from start to finish. She followed up with me every step of the way. She was extremely professional and conducted the training extremely well. What attracted me to this program was the integration of facial and dental charting. This program has allowed me to chart for my nursing aesthetics and dental treatments!

Cons: The PRICE! It's a little pricy, especially for someone just starting up like myself. I am a lone provider and only use the first tier. It would be great if emailing and texting were part of the first tier to get the most out of this program. The perioprobing requires absolute silence or may help with microphone. There are still a few things to iron out in terms of ease of use, but overall, the program is great.

Pros: I LOVE how quick the support team is to respond! They always have a great attitude and are so pleasant to deal with. Very positive and professional. I really appreciate how open they are to constructive criticism and suggestions for improving the software. Every time I've reached out, my questions have been fully answered-I've never ended a support call feeling unsatisfied. Fantastic service!

Cons: Not much! I am completely satisfied with the program.

Pros: The online booking system is very convenient and patients find it very easy to navigate. The Wiki is incredibly easy to navigate and helpful.

Cons: N/A. I did initially find the cost to be a bit pricey however the features of the system, and the training have been lovely.

Pros: Straightforward, easy to use Thorough training ([sensitive content hidden] was lovely and so knowledgeable) Everything is customizable

Cons: Small complaint - when accessing Akitu on my phone, I can’t see the entire screen

Pros: The AI probing, charting, the finance which was straight forward.

Cons: Nothing that i can think about. I can say the feature that i might be least using.

Pros: Comprehensive and very detailed clinical charting.

Cons: Have to pay $50 more if used more than 1000 text messages.

Pros: The support - I cannot say enough about the support. Any issues or questions I have are addressed in the most personal, comprehensive, efficient manner. Your support team goes above and beyond and I hope you value them!!! (especially [sensitive content hidden]!!) I also want to add that when I did my on-line training sessions (Fundamentals) with [sensitive content hidden], she was most patient with me and spent so much time with me and I really appreciated that!

Cons: As a 51yr. old clinician who is not tech savvy, I did find the learning curve to be huge!! I especially did not enjoy building templates, I just could not wrap my head around it even with all the wonderful support I was given.

Pros: Easy to use and customer service, always quick to answer

Pros: Quick, easy and any changes we seem to ask for to improve usability seem to be added in. Good customer support from what i hear.

Cons: Not really anything in general but there are a few tweeks that can be made. More templates for xrays and IO photos. Also in the probing chart, if adjustments are made to an existing perio exam, it should save as a new date at the end of the day (sometimes multiple saves are made during exam so would have to be end of day).

Pros: Good sales, service and support so far! system is intuitive and company takes into account the users input for improvements often

Cons: No problems yet! I have been satisfied with my use of the software. (Basic billing use so far)

Pros: Modern, simple and easy to use. Very user friendly and icloud base helps a lot. Akitu One is always improving.

Cons: A bit confused on where/who to contact for support. Have had issues reaching and resolving support when needed.
