Sage 50 Accounting

Pros: Streamlining our operations has been seamless with Sage, thanks to its robust features for inventory management, invoicing, and expense tracking. Furthermore, its live data reporting and ability to scale alongside us have been vital assets for making informed decisions and fueling our company's growth

Cons: pricing could be a little cheaper for self starters/ smaller companies that need basic functionality,When features come for domestic clients, international clients lag these features

Pros: I have used to maintain personal accounts for a while. It felt that it is better than spreadsheets. Interface is great and easy to navigate.

Cons: The version sometimes created issue with my laptop. Maybe it is because of mismatch of support. Other than that, the customer support should be more informed while contacted upon such issues.

Pros: Sage 50 is a useful accounting tool which is easy to use and helps manage key data like VAT and year end balances.

Cons: My least favourite part of sage 50 is the lack of stock management and how it has no mobile compatible apps.

Pros: I valued the extensive feature set that manages everything from financial reporting to invoicing in one location. It also delivers consistent performance, making daily accounting tasks smooth and dependable

Cons: The interface could feel a little more contemporary and user-friendly in several areas. Nevertheless, it functions flawlessly for routine accounting duties once you get used to it.

Pros: I am no longer entering 800 transactions by hand each month and that will never happen again. I am exhausted from working late tonight so i’ll keep this brief – the bank feeds pull all of your data into the system and set up the rules. It used to take me an entire day to complete month end processing. Now it takes about two hours. The reporting aspect is also great. I get accurate P&L’s, cash flow statements, a/r aging statements…you can give these to anyone else and they will understand them.

Cons: It slows down with a large amount of data. And that is a big deal when closing out month-end. They have made several updates to the user interface since we first started using this software and every update seems to move things around and makes it harder for me to find items that i use on a regular basis. Petty but true, the receipt photo upload does not have drag and drop functionality and i have to click through multiple pages to attach a single file. Customizable reports are available, however, i would say that the number of options that are available are limited based upon the cost of the software.

Pros: What I liked most about Sage 50 Accounting is its reliable financial reporting and strong control over accounting and inventory management.

Cons: What I liked least about Sage 50 Accounting is that its interface feels outdated and the learning curve can be steep for new users. Its limited cloud accessibility also makes remote work and collaboration less convenient.

Pros: Its robust feature set that combines detailed accounting, inventory, and reporting in one reliable system, making financial management straightforward and efficient.

Cons: The interface of Sage 50 Accounting looks a bit outdated and not so intuitive. There is scope for improvement here.

Pros: - Great capability around advanced financial reporting and audit trials - Integrated service functionality across invoicing, payroll, job costing, and inventory and more. - Offers services on desktop and cloud model, leading greater data control - Offers strong inventory and cost tracking for big projects - Does offer customisation and scalability as business grows

Cons: - Limited cloud mobility, with additional tools are required for remote access - As world is moving towards automation and AI, there are no such new age functionalities embedded in the platform at least currently

Pros: Sage is an excellent small business accounting program. We have had good customer support, and we have had easy transitions when staff changes. We use Sage for reporting our finances to our accounting firm. We have also used Sage for invoicing our vendors.

Cons: I am treasurer at an HOA. We need software that has accounting features as well as member management/billing and communication (email/text/phone blasts). Sage does not have all those features,

Pros: Sage 50 is an easy to use and detailed accounting system perfect for medium sized business‘s. The VAT component and data attachment, and reporting facilities are useful and help assist in day to day management.

Cons: My only issue with Sage 50 accounts is the learning curve for new users. Without previous experience or proper training it can be difficult to use the full functionality.

Pros: Sage 50 Accounting is a professional accounting software help us manage my accounting records and needs for several years. I use this as an administrator and give access rights to various external parties including the Part time bookkeeping staff and the external auditors.

Cons: The least aspect of the Sage 50 Accounting is its integration with the different software example with the Plooto and Payroll system. We tried to integrate it, but it did not allow us to do.

Pros: You can get into a great routine using Sage 50 Accounting - once you learn it, the daily usage is very easy.

Cons: This is very minor but it looks dated, like it resembles an excel spreadsheet. It may not look user friendly but once you start using it more, it's very effective.

Pros: Fit for accounting purposes for very small companies with one user accessing the system, with regular manual backups.

Cons: Corrupts data regularly for small companies especially when trying to use addition features that don’t work very well

Pros: What I liked most about Sage 50 Accounting was the value the software offered for the cost. The software was able to do all that I required and did not go over budget.

Cons: What I liked least about Sage 50 Accounting at the time was that it did not offer cloud based options for remote access.

Pros: - very easy to maintain and to train user to do it. - UI are very easy to understand as well - security is fairly good, keeping sensitive data secured

Cons: - sometimes it is hard to recover backup database/profile that attach to a user - update using the UI sometimes does not install new version properly

Pros: Sage 50 is really easy to use and works well for small to medium businesses who need a simple stock system and need to create purchase orders and sales orders.

Cons: It’s quite limited in what comes as standard and it’s not overly customisable based on the database structure that it uses.

Pros: The massive amount of features that come with Sage 50. The recent additions such as Sage CoPilot. The great range of additional software.

Cons: I would love there to be a version written specifically for Apple ECOsystem. I would more attention to running the software within a virtual machine.

Pros: I like how it is simple to use for bookkeeping vets and newbies. The various aspects of book keeping is well laid out and easy to navigate for office tasks.

Cons: I did not like how it was not easily integrated with the desktop version & vice versa. You need to choose one service or the other.

Pros: customer friendly, great support, very transparent. Love the reporting features. Finally Sage 50cloud accounting connect seeming less to MTD or Tax authorities.

Cons: I haven't tried how to pull exchange data from public records, but this has always been a problem in the past.

Pros: Book keeper was Abe to give regular updates which kept me informed

Cons: We had no issue with this product and would say it worked well for what we required

Pros: This application gets the job done. Solid record keeping and connects well to other internal records.

Cons: Other applications do not have API connection to this platform yet.

Pros: Very simple and easy to use software for accounting.

Cons: its a very basic accounting software, not much else. If your just using for accounting its great, but if you need things like estimation, tracking, PO's etc choose something else.

Pros: The functionality, the ability to customize the reports is a definite asset. Its very user friendly.

Cons: The cost is a bit high, and some different features would be nice without having to add on expensive modules.
