Dotloop has been a regular part of my job for over 10 years. We use it for all real estate transaction docs, TREC forms, rental applications, leases, and so much more. It's great, and I much prefer it to other sites like Docusign.
Pros: I've used Dotloop in my Director of Operations role for a real estate team since 2016. It's consistent, easy to use and manage, makes organizing and getting client signatures a breeze, and the support staff is so helpful for any issues or bugs that ever occur. It's worth the money, and reliable for all your real estate transaction needs!
Cons: Some of the customization tools can be a tad confusing, namely when you switch real estate brokerages. My team has switched 4 times in ten years, and we've had some bumps with customizing new broker info in our account.

Flawless experience thus far! I was introduced to this platform a few years ago and have been thrilled at how easy it is for my clients and myself!
Pros: I love Dotloop! I was introduced to it by through real estate transactions and now use it in my own business transactions!
Cons: NO cons. It is truly the most user friendly electronic doc signing I have used! I refer it to others for it exceptional value and ease of use!

Overall I will never suggest this product to any company ever. Their user contracts are not fair and put the user at a disadvantaged financially. If you need to go a different route due to finances, you will be unable to with this company!
Pros: We started using the Outlook because I was with a big box broker and it was their default e-signing system. We were already familiar with how to use it. So when we expanded to another state we started paying Ford out of pocket. It worked for us for a few years very well because we were familiar with it.
Cons: This is a warning to any potential user of.DotLoop! You are tied into a contract for 12 months and whether you use the product or not you cannot escape paying out the end of your contract! There are no negotiations and no exceptions. Warning about that policy! Our brokerage used DotLoop for 5 years and always paid our bill on time. Florida association of Realtors offers a product that syncs better with the Florida forms. We are using that product now. It is a more user-friendly product through Form Simplicity I called DotLoop to cancel My subscription and was offered an appointment 2 weeks out to speak with a customer representative! I let them know that would not work for me and asked for a call back same day. I was asked what country and time zone I was in. I told them USA, eastern time. A phone call was scheduled 2 days out! That's ridiculous in a career where time is of the essence.

Overall, my experience with dotloop has been positive because it streamlines real estate transactions, even though there is a small learning curve at first.
Pros: I like dotloop because it makes real estate transactions simple and organized by keeping all documents and signatures in one place. It saves time, reduces errors, and makes it easy to collaborate with clients and other agents from anywhere.
Cons: What I like least about dotloop is that it can feel slow or laggy at times, especially when loading large transaction files.

Good! I enjoy it to send documents to clients to get signatures and it right away comes back to me. It’s easier than going to the client
Pros: You can send out documents to be digitally signed. It makes the process faster for clients instead of having hard copies
Cons: I have used another system that is much easier and has way more functions. Dot loop does not have a forms piece
Dan P. · Admin · Real Estate · September 25, 2025
Overall I've had positive experiences with dotloop even though zillow owns them. It is an easy program to use.
Pros: Dotloop is easy to use to manage documents and for esigning. It is easy to edit documents and place signatures.
Cons: One thing dotloop cannot do is allow 2 people to sign using the same email. If you have a couple that uses the same email address, they will have to have the second one sent to a different email.
Tracey H. · mca · Real Estate · August 21, 2025
it has worked very well and I have learned to by pass the modification issue by making my changes in a pdf writeable program 1st and then uploading to dotloop for signatures and initials only.
Pros: can be used to have clients sign documents securely and quickly. best to use for those out of town or do not have access to a printer and scanner.
Cons: difficult to modify documents once in the system. have to use dialogue boxes in order to modify once uploaded to the system
Jim C. · REAL ESTATE AGENT · Real Estate · August 9, 2025
I think Dotloop is still the leader in this space but it will have some challenging times ahead with their price structure.
Pros: The ease of use compared to the other digital signing programs is by far the best thing about using Dotloop. I've had to try a couple of different options and Dotloop has been the easiest to navigate and make adjustments if needed.
Cons: The price tag on here is the biggest concern. It will be interesting what they have to do with their pricing model as other options appear and AI makes it easier to create competitors and/or make other programs better.
Manny N. · Realtor · Real Estate · July 3, 2025
Only used a couple times, but it worked exactly as designed without any issues or glitches. I would definitely recommend.
Pros: Only used DotLoop maybe once or twice when a vendor sent me an agreement to sign. It worked seamlessly without any issues.
Cons: No real cons. When I use a digital signing application, I just want it to work when I need to sign a document. This solution did just that.
Jordan M. · Corporate Training Manager · Electrical/Electronic Manufacturing · June 18, 2025
dotloop has been a great tool personally and professionally. Their free version makes signing one-off documents very simple!
Pros: All-in-one tool to manage real estate deals. Multiple options for delivery of contracts and eSigning options for clients (in-person, via email). dotloop's Support Team is great as well!
Cons: Some of the functionality can be a bit clunky, and some great settings require manual selection each time (ie., attaching PDF versions to emails)

I have been using that loop for eight years in my real estate business and it makes my workflow that much easier
Pros: It’s ease-of-use is great on my end as a provider and on the other end for my clients. My clients find it very helpful and self-explanatory, even if they’re not tech savvy.
Cons: I don’t think there’s anything that I don’t like. It’s all very easy to use and very well organized.
Karen G. · Realtor · Real Estate · May 26, 2025
Pros: I really like the ability to have real time collaboration and built in e-signatures.
Cons: I do feel like the pricing is a little high compared to some of their competitors, making it not a cost effective option for all businesses.
Sheila k. · Field and Product Marketing Manager · Information Technology and Services · May 14, 2025
Used it for several years and overall it was good. Lack of integration was a problem
Pros: I like the ability to modify documents easier than some other e-signature programs
Cons: While many features were easier than the new system we are using, the lack of ability to integrate with our CRM was a real problem
William R. · Team Lead · Real Estate · May 8, 2025
I have used that loop for the last three years straight and it’s easy to maneuver through the system and find the documents that I need as well as set up for online signatures
Pros: Dotloop platform is very easy to use for creating contracts from existing documents and for online signatures & document storage
Cons: Dotloop does charge an annual fee but is provided through my brokerage complimentary to agents
Tricia J. · Realtor · Real Estate · April 9, 2025
Best system around for esignatures. No downtime and the tech team is very responsive with questions
Pros: Over 2 years using dotloop and Dotloop makes collaboration professional, smooth and easy.
Cons: The opposite side of the signature transaction needs more review options as most esigners only see the sign here icon and neglect to reiew.

Every time I’ve had a problem & called in, they’ve been able to help. This last time, not only did they solve my original issue, but helped with something I didn’t even call about!
Pros: All of my documents are in one place, & are easily accessible. Also, I can add documents from my photos!
Cons: I’m not able to reorder the documents on my iPad.
Patti O. · Realtor · Real Estate · March 31, 2025
Garbage company. They are stealing and using your data.
Pros: They hide the pricing and never send invoices. They dont make the pricing available online
Cons: They are owned by zillow, hide pricing online its 2025 and you cant see what you are being billed without calling and they do not email invoices.
Jon. s. · OWner · Real Estate · March 27, 2025
Pros: It’s easy to upload documents and prep them to get signatures.
Cons: My clients hadn’t heard of dotloop as much as other esignature sites.
Ashley D. · Attorney · Legal Services · March 24, 2025
Overall been very please, almost never have issues
Pros: Easy to upload docs and set for initials and signatures
Cons: Some agents don't understand how it work or the fact that they can respond back to us using sent loop
Russ C. · Sales Manager Property Manager · Real Estate · March 3, 2025
Many of my colleagues continue to use Dotloop even though our company is using a different software. It's because Dotloop is easier to use! I agree.
Pros: The best thing about Dotloop is the end user experience. It is so easy to use.
Cons: Nothing - I find it completely searchable, and easy to find my clients and their purchase/sale addresses.
Barb S. · Agent · Real Estate · December 23, 2024
It made me feel secure when using it; my relator sent it to me for my purchase offer. The program would highlight for me where to sign, I just clicked on the highlighted area and my signature would be there or my initials. At the end of signing, I would receive a copy with my signature.
Pros: It was simple and easy to use. It would not let me submit until each spot was filled out; this allowed me to take my time and review the documents attached.
Cons: Nothing at all! Everything was very easy to use, and I cannot think of anything that I did not like.
Kristal Y. · Personal · Real Estate · December 13, 2024
Generally good except for the two above comments. It would be Ho.loop to disassociate with Showing Time . Everyone I know is complaining about it.
Pros: The ease of creating & maintaining documents
Cons: The two things that I find awful about that loop our won the integration of Showing Time , which makes it extremely difficult to get into many times and the other issue is the display and the way it behaves when you are on an iPad. This is 2024 and it should work well with Apple products But doesn’t seem to. I do not have a PC or laptop. I only use an iPad and an iPhone, and they should make it easier to use with those products.

Dotloop is a highly effective transaction management platform tailored for real estate professionals.
Pros: e-signature integration, easy collaboration and user-friendly interface
Cons: limited integrations and occasional glitches
George S. · Senior Recruiter · Information Technology and Services · December 10, 2024
My experience with DotLoop has been largely positive, as it streamlines real estate transactions with its intuitive interface, digital signatures, and real-time updates. While it occasionally has glitches or a slight learning curve for some clients, it’s a valuable tool for simplifying workflows and keeping everything organized in one place.
Pros: What I like most about DotLoop is how it simplifies real estate transactions by keeping everything organized in one place. Its intuitive interface, real-time updates, and digital signatures save time and make the process seamless for everyone involved.
Cons: What I like least about DotLoop is that it occasionally has glitches, like slow loading times or syncing issues, which can be frustrating during time-sensitive transactions. Additionally, some clients find it a bit overwhelming at first, especially if they’re not familiar with digital platforms.

I ll give it a 7. when It was used for real estate documents it sometimes came back blank and the fact that you had to send it to the people individually
Pros: It was ok but took too many steps to complete a document
Cons: Some times the document comes back blank
