Overall, Dropbox Sign feels like a tool that keeps document signing simple and manageable without adding unnecessary complexity. As a remote freelance bookkeeper working with multiple clients, having a consistent way to send, track, and store signed documents makes a noticeable difference. It also makes things easier for clients, since they can complete everything quickly without setup. Compared to how I handled documents before, things feel more organized and move a bit faster, especially when dealing with multiple clients at once. It's not a highly advanced solution, so there are some limits depending on how complex the workflow, but for day-to-day use, it works reliably. Overall, I would rate it around 4.0 to 4.3 out of 5.
Pros: $8c
Cons: There are still some limitations depending on the situation. For example, when a document needs to be reviewed and signed by multiple people in a specific order, or when the next step depends on a previous approval, the setup can feel a bit limited. In some cases, I’ve had to send documents in separate steps manually, which adds extra work. Managing repeated documents could also be smoother. When sending similar agreements to different clients, some parts of the setup still need to be checked or adjusted each time, which can add up over time. Cost was also something I had to consider, especially coming from a free workflow. If it’s only used occasionally, it may not feel necessary. But once I started using it more regularly, the time it saved made it feel worth it.

I love the way you can add others and share all of your documents as well as photos with the added users.

Dropbox Sign simplifies the approval and signature process for financial documents. It reduces turnaround time and improves traceability for signed agreements.
Pros: Electronic signatures are easy to send, track, and manage. The audit trail and status notifications provide clear visibility on document progress.
Cons: Customization options for workflows are somewhat limited. Integration with internal systems may require additional setup.

As a freelance designer, I need a fast and professional way to get documents signed, and Dropbox Sign fits well into my workflow.
Pros: It’s easy to send contracts and get them signed without back-and-forth emails. Clients don’t struggle with the interface, which saves time and avoids confusion. Everything stays organized and accessible once documents are completed.
Cons: For a solo freelancer, pricing can feel a bit high if used occasionally. Customization options for templates are somewhat limited.

Not great. I had a deadline to get 94 contracts out. I would send 10-14 then I would get blocked. What could have taken 5 hours to complete took from 4:00 pm on a Thursday to 10:00 am on Saturday to almost complete--I have one more to complete and have to wait a few hours because I've been blocked again. I missed the deadline. Support is also slow and useless. I reached out Thursday. Received one email Friday where I was referred to another department and haven't heard of anything since.
Pros: It is incredibly easy to use. I can't say much more about the positives because the negatives were such an issue that I missed a deadline.
Cons: It's so easy that I was blocked of sending contracts out for being suspected of spamming--10-14 contracts at a time. Evidently, that number is too many in a short period of time.

The document management is pretty easy to use overall, and customer support is great. It is a bit of a simple system though if you need more to a program.
Pros: Low rate if you need a signing service that you don't have to integrate with a ton of other things. This is an easy system to learn.
Cons: It lacks some customization like branding and can be a bit hiccupy at times. The workflow management may become a hassle.

Overall, robust security feature protecting privacy, user friendly interface, and it’s ability to integrate with a lot of other programs make it a worthy option to consider!
Pros: The robust security feature of the native Dropbox with encryption and two factor authentication is very reassuring, especially now with all the digital threats to privacy and security!
Cons: The least to like about Dropbox sign would be similar to what other softwares and apps entail, i.e. the cost - may not be a good value for high volume signing needs.

I have been using this application for a few months under my own account. It was fine up until I built my new website. When the new site was built, I needed to integrate Dropbox Sign into the Pipedrive CRM. It was going to be too expensive to do it through Dropbox, so I switched to DocuSign which was also easier to integrate with the Pipedrive. I forgot to cancel the subscription, so I emailed asking for a partial refund, but they refused. They saw how little I used it but they didnt care they wouldn't assist. I'm very disappointed with their service and I wouldn't recommend it to anyone. I'd go DocuSign instead
Pros: The application was easy to use and got the job done. It did let me send out the Privacy Consent to single and multiple directors
Cons: That it wasn't accepted by a lot of lenders, and the service was terrible. It was also too expensive

Dropbox Sign has given me the most outstanding experience when signing documents making it much easier and quicker to sign documents using e-signatures. With Dropbox Sign, i get to sign documents directly in their digital form without the need to of having to print them into a physical paper.
Pros: I like how Dropbox Sign automatically saves a document after i have signed it. It has a secure documents storage vault which allows me to safeguard documents before and after signing them. Dropbox Sign has a secure files sharing function which enables me to easily share documents after signing them. Dropbox Sign has a swift and user-friendly interface that makes signing documents easy and effortless.
Cons: Dropbox Sign has never even in one time failed to impress me with its features. It is easy to use and I have not disliked any aspect about it.

used mainly for e-signature to streamline patient consent forms, treatment approvals, and administrative paperwork. It makes signing documents easy for both staff and patients, reducing time spent on paperwork. It integrates well with Dropbox for seamless document management.
Pros: Dropbox Sign is praised for its ease of use and clean interface, making it simple for users to send and sign documents
Cons: One common drawback of Dropbox Sign is that its free plan is quite limited, offering only a few signature requests per month

Overall, experience with Dropbox Sign has been fantastic, easy to use, was up and running pretty quickly! Support has been helpful when needed as well.
Pros: It's simplicity, creates for an easy experience for a user without having much knowledge on the product.
Cons: No huge dislikes at the moment, does the job it needs to do. If I had to select something would be a short tutorial video for each integration, making it even easier to setup.

Dropbox Sign has elevated my experience in digital document signing. With its easy to use features and a very user-friendly interface, am able to sign all my documents with ease. Dropbox Sign also ensure that all documents and their information are secure during signing.
Pros: The intuitiveness of the interface is one thing that caught my eye and with it, navigating through and signing documents is easy. Dropbox Sign has very accurate security features which help keep the entire document signing process safeguarded. I love it how i can roll out signature requests to multiple people with just one single click. Dropbox Sign also has document tracking features which help ensure all documents have been signed.
Cons: I have used Dropbox Sign for a while and to date, i have not discovered even a single thing that i do not like about Dropbox Sign.

Pros: Dropbox Sign integrates smoothly with commonly used legal tools and cloud storage platforms, especially Dropbox, making it convenient to manage and organize client files, contracts, and signed documents without needing to switch systems.
Cons: Although some branding options are available, customizing the signer experience (e.g., adding firm logos, colors, or tailored messaging) is somewhat limited compared to more robust enterprise-level e-signature platforms. This may be a drawback for firms emphasizing a highly branded, client-centric experience.

I really liked Dropbox Sign however it's very expensive for scaling. Although their Ui and product is very good.
Pros: Dropbox Sign is very easy to use and the UI is very easy to navigate. I completely recommend this for big companies that want to be very professional.
Cons: It's very limited for smaller plans, and it can increase very quickly when you have a team or have alot of contracts. Free teir only allows for 3 documents / month.

We have been using Dropbox sign for quite a few years now and it has been efforless simple and straight to the point.
Pros: Easy to use, client and user friendly. People do not need lots of training on these and its easily teachable
Cons: There is not really anything I would say i dislike. Maybe have a feature that lets my clients sign from my computer in case they do not have a laptop or cellphone.
Marty D. · Operations Manager · Retail · April 28, 2025
I used Dropbox sign to send questionnaires and contracts to self employed contractors
Pros: User friendly. Easy to use to sign documents
Cons: Logs out after so long so need to log back in
Laura C. · Resource manager · Hospital & Health Care · April 9, 2025
Very positive experience overall. Good value, simple to use, doesn't have lots of bells and whistles but doesn't need them for 99% of what we do.
Pros: Simply way to send sales contracts out for signing and providing us with a legally binding document. Easy for client to sign too and return.
Cons: It does lack some document editing or form-building tools that platforms like DocuSign or Adobe Acrobat Sign offer
Steven B. · Marketing Director · Media Production · April 9, 2025
Pros: I like how easy it is to add multiple places for initials and signatures. I also like being able to see when it was sent, when it was opened, and whether the document was signed.
Cons: Sometimes it can be a little slow to load my document.
Ashley D. · Attorney · Legal Services · March 24, 2025
Superb! We use this all the time to send things to clients and internally that need signature and it's so easy, let's you know when the parties needed have signed everything and gives everyone a copy of the signed doc.
Pros: Ease of use, easy to understand, moves contracts forward more quickly and with less back and forth.
Cons: Cost is a little higher than I'd like but it's fine.

Pros: I like the ease with which you are able to upload various documents and highlight specific places that require signature, initials, etc. Also, appreciate the fact that I can create a template for multiple uses and email the document from the platform.
Cons: There's really nothing that I dislike about the platform.
Renee H. · Principal · Real Estate · September 25, 2024
Pros: Utilisation facile et intuitive. Réel gain de temps.
Cons: Difficulté pour modifier un document après signature. Une fonctionnalité pourrait être ajouté permettant de voir la chronologie des modifications, sans en interdire l’accès.

Jolly M. · Data Associate · Information Technology and Services · August 9, 2024
My overall experience with Dropbox Sign was good. The core service works very well and there are extra features like customized branding. It will also work with other services like your document storage.
Pros: Sending the document is very simple, then Dropbox sign automatically tracks the progress and sends reminders if needed. I like that I don't have to do that myself. I think the drag and drop tool for signing fields saved time as well. Dropbox sign made me feel that both the signer and I were safe sending documents/information through their service. They also vertify the signer. For this type of application I think both are extremely important and should be some of your main concerns when shopping.
Cons: Dropbox Signs pricing is in the mid range. I chose Dropbox Sign anyway because I didn't want to risk security by trying to save money.
