Marketing can finally find there own assets and stop asking me to do a resize from two years ago. Because all of our assets are located in one place, we no longer waste money on the same stock photo over and over again. The license tags prevent us from getting sued for using an image incorrectly.
Pros: The AI search worked and pulled up the actual faces within the event photos, which is nice since most of the time it doesn’t work like it should. Not having folders isn’t bad either.
Cons: The portal lags so much at times I need to click refresh a lot. When attempting to switch months on the collection calendar, the height will jump around, forcing me to constantly move the mouse each time and its an absolute headache. In addition, doing a filter reorder by number versus being able to drag them is antiquated and outdated.

Nice and easy programme to use in order to get the branding the same in the whole company.
Pros: All the improvements the programme keeps making!
Cons: If you accidentally delete or edit something, there is no button where you can undo this change.

Pros: Easy to use, all my colleagues are pleased to use it
Cons: Can't have a versioning of each page. If I want to update a page it has to be unpublished so I have to create a new page and all my links to the old page are broke.

The customer success manager is great, the online help is great, the portal is easy to build and brand consistency is easy to achieve.
Pros: The customer service is fantastic. The online help usually answers within 15 min and they are really trying to help. The online help articles are written in an understandable way, and if something is missing, they try to fix it. What more can you wish for?
Cons: There are limitations to the functionalities, e.g. cropping images or the size of content blocks, or sharing libraries. But they also actively collect feedback and send it to their developer team. In my opinion, the best way to go.

Pros: That everything is in one place and everyone has access to their needed assets
Cons: There are still some upgrades that could be used in the portal, such as easier template edits etc.

One of the standout features is the ability to create detailed brand guidelines that are easily accessible to everyone involved. This has significantly reduced the occurrence of inconsistent brand elements, particularly across different regions. The collaborative tools, such as real-time editing and feedback, have improved our internal communication and streamlined our workflow. Moreover, the integration capabilities with other tools we use have made it even more efficient to manage our brand assets. The flexibility and customization options allow us to tailor the platform to our specific needs, which has been a great advantage. Overall, Frontify has been instrumental in enhancing our brand management process, ensuring consistency, and improving collaboration within our team.
Pros: What I like most about Frontify is its comprehensive approach to brand management. The platform provides a centralized hub where teams can create, manage, and share brand assets seamlessly. Its intuitive interface makes it easy to maintain brand consistency across different channels and regional teams. The collaborative features, such as real-time editing and feedback, significantly enhance communication and efficiency within design and brand teams. Additionally, the integrations with other tools and the flexibility in customizing brand guidelines are standout features that make Frontify a powerful tool for maintaining a cohesive brand identity.
Cons: I believe we need more options and flexibility to customize the homepage and layout~

Overall I enjoy using it. Finding out that there are new features is exciting and I look forward to making updates and building new sections for my team to discover content.
Pros: It is SO easy to use and make updates. The team also listens to our feedback as users and considers it when building new features.
Cons: Our libraries and internal sections are growing quickly so we need more subcategory options but I'm sure this can be taken care of.

Very happy with the product, more team members who learn about it, want access for other applications.
Pros: Its a great product and we've been with them from almost the beginning. Great to see they've worked with us as the product has changed.
Cons: Some limitations on versioning when edits are made. So there needs to be a bit on on-boarding to make sure nothing is removed by accident.
Jeff A. · Manager, Global web marketing · Marketing and Advertising · April 5, 2024
Yeah it's pretty good overall. I can't complain. Maybe in the future you should consider having different modes available, e.g. Writer's mode, Designer's mode, etc.
Pros: Clean UI and the navigation is fairly decent Lots of customisable features are nice, adjusting typography, etc. The support team is very good too, so thanks for that.
Cons: I would like to drag and drop content (like supernova) Some copy/paste functions are buggy. As a writer, it would be nice to be able to tab skip between text blocks too. I also really dislike having to re-log in every hour or so....
Nathan B. · UX Writer · Automotive · January 23, 2024
Pros: It's ease of use, their UI is polished and great for people with no technical skills; it's a WYSIWYG editor.
Cons: Their pricing structure based on usage it's quite difficult as it's quite difficult to justify sometimes the increase on costs.
Juan M. · Brand Communications and Advertising Manager · Hospitality · January 16, 2024
Pros: Simplicity and easy to use. User-friendly interface for both administrators/editors and users. Visible continuous development of the platform.
Cons: I often experience technical issues (slow loading, errors in libraries), but customer support is always helpful. Sometimes I miss functionalities that I would find important, but we can often work around it.
Jana B. · Global Brand Manager · Machinery · January 15, 2024
We are very enthusiastic! Great team and great tool.
Pros: It's very easy to use and to set up. We work in a big company, so lots of people use it. Everyone is very happy with it. The template function is amazing, saves us al lot of work and everyone in the company makes use of it. Also the costumer support is fantastic, really helpful and and quick response.
Cons: It would be nice to have a better function for resizing images (zooming in and out) within a frame in the templates.
Bas v. · Art Director · Libraries · January 12, 2024
Pros: Super easy to get started with. Editing and maintaining content is very intuitive. Excellent support.
Cons: Not sure I can think of something. We use the brand guidelines mostly but are thinking to integrate Frontify with Contentful for asset management. It's a little bit tricky to see how that would work for us.
Lisbeth V. · Instructional Designer · Computer Software · December 18, 2023
Pros: It allows for everyone within the company to easily access correct images, videos, as well as branding (products: templates). By making use of correct user groups, you as an admin can easily determine what every end user can and cannot see.
Cons: It is not necessarily something I did not like, but it took quite some time to manage all the assets we wanted to migrate and getting a hang of how to correctly use the templates. Our designers made quite some mistakes in the InDesign files in the beginning, which resulted in us having to update the templates regurarly.
Marielle P. · Marketing Project Manager · Hospitality · November 29, 2023
Pros: Building a brand portal from scratch has been a very easy, fun and rewarding experience. The user interface is easy to use and accessible both from an editor and user point of view. The multiple web-parts available make building color palettes, typography pages and logo libraries easy and straightforward. They are highly customisable too!
Cons: The part I liked the least are the "editable/customisable templates". They are potentially great to allow users create their own on-brand creative assets but the templates lack some flexibility and are not as solid as I'd like yet.
Clara C. · Graphic designer and brand deployment specialist · Semiconductors · November 27, 2023
Pros: A real help to solve Security issues in an Easy eay
Cons: It Is difficult to learn at the beginning
Paola A. · Manager · Arts and Crafts · September 17, 2023
Pros: lo que mas me encanto es que permite a varios usuarios crear y administrar los recursos que se ingresen de una manera facil y rapida.
Cons: su limitacion sobre el texto enriquecido es algo que debe mejorarce.
Katalina M. · Ing. Sistemas · Information Technology and Services · June 25, 2023
With Frontify we were able to centralize all our branding in one place. Employees are more empowered and know where to find information easily.
Pros: - A branded guide accessible anywhere, anytime- easily found assets- customer service is always good
Cons: - The responsive mode is not optimal for the home page
Maxime C. · Graphiste senior · Construction · February 1, 2023
Pros: Logiciel facile à utiliser, très simple et une option presque infinie à utiliser. Le contenu est facilement maintenu, les mise à jour sont automatique, c'est un excellent logiciel
Cons: J'ai tout apprecié, franchement c'est top
Achille D. · Chef d'entreprise · Architecture & Planning · January 17, 2023
Pros: The powerful tools that you can have to take care of your brands.
Cons: Probably that it's not the first option when you look for branding management.

Our Customer Success Manager [SENSITIVE CONTENT] was very helpful and prompt in responding. He went out of his way to accommodate our implementation training sessions or answer any questions we had.
Pros: Easy for clients to use and navigate. Great quick access and search functions.
Cons: There were a few software restrictions on some of our functionality requests however there were work arounds provided. These didn't affect our overall usage experience.
Tara K. · Trade Marketing Manager · Cosmetics · November 10, 2022
Pros: How user friendly and intuitive the back end is. It is as simplified as possible whilst still retaining the functionality that we need.
Cons: There could still be improvements to the interactivity of the guidelines and flexibility with customisation.
Victoria M. · Senior Brand Manager · Publishing · October 12, 2022
The overall experience is great. With Frontify, we have made a large portion of the organisation brand ambassadors that keep our brand expression consistent, accessible and engaging.
Pros: Frontify has enabled us to work consistently with our brand across the entire organisation. It has simplified all aspects of our brand management, while at the same time increasing internal brand engagement and commitment a lot, from understanding and emotionally connect to the brand core identity to finding the right assets at the right time. The Frontify support function is also very responsive in every stage of the process, always friendly, agile and helpful regardless of the matter.
Cons: Some parts of the Frontify set up process and administration are somewhat unintuitive and hard to grasp. The backend UI is also not the best from an admin user perspective, with some processes being a bit unclear and overly complex. There are also some bugs within some features, but nothing that can't be worked around.
