I appreciate the team and support we receive; however I wish they could be more proactive in helping with our business needs.
Pros: Document management and customer support. As long as everyone practices saving documents and email it is very useful.
Cons: Bugs and issues - it can take a long time to fix issues which interrupts business daily and can we very costly.

DELMIAWorks offers a powerful, integrated ERP/MES experience specifically tailored for manufacturing, but it demands a significant investment in time, training, and change management
Pros: DELMIAWorks includes built-in MES functionality, meaning better visibility into operations and Reduced need for third-party MES tools
Cons: Implementation Complexity is a an issue like most ERP systems, full implementation is complex and time-consuming

I've been a customer of DelmiaWorks for 10 years and it's been an overall good relationship with great people to deal with and a good collaborative mindset.

Pros: Their in-house EDI team is awesome, they help us implement standard EDI with great attention and excellent integration capability. The EDI team also supports us with non-standard EDI which has been a game changer for optimizing external and shop floor operations and ultimately reducing touches. We've also had great interactions and a successful relationship with the in-house HMS team, hosting and managing our ERP environment, it's been a real win to leverage their expertise to eliminate our on premise hardware for ERP.
Cons: We operate in a fairly complex manufacturing space with lots of supply chain complexity, some of the existing offerings in those areas feel incomplete, there are a list of business functions that we've had to identify alternative solutions for and utilize non-standard tools and think outside of the box.

Our company moved to this ERP system in 2011 and it has continued to help me drive improvement through consistency and data acquisition. The support teams have always been helpful. Lately, I'm finding significant support and camaraderie in the DELMIAworks community. With fuller participation in user groups, the 3dSwym communities, and the 3DEXPERIENCE, I've opened new channels and ideas for growth for our organization. We have leaned heavily into this system helping us drive improvement in the coming years and have found DELMIAworks to be a solid partner in this effort.
Pros: We continue to increase our utilization of the system in ways that make us competitive in the industry. I enjoy how it helps us control our process through connected and real time data. Having everything from Quote to Cash in the same system helps our workflow and communication be consistent and repeatable.
Cons: The upgrade schedule and the following support schedule has been a bit tight, but they have recently made changes that I hope will relieve some of that pressure. For me, the upgrades have been a bit stressful, but I do know that they offer a support team at an additional cost.

it’s a powerful tool that effectively streamlines manufacturing operations
Pros: Offering real-time monitoring and detailed visibility into production processes
Cons: In my opinion is high in comparison with another similar software
Antonia Bolena M. · Engineer · Civil Engineering · November 1, 2024
I am not fully satisfied with the tool even if there are powerful functionality available in delmia environment such as the integration with dassault tools
Pros: I like the flexibility of the tool: basically everything can be developed and customized. The configuration of the tool covers several business needs
Cons: There is no / few standard functionality as a staring point. So a big effort from dev team is needed. Configuration is poorly automated and rely mainly on manual input

Overall, DELMIAworks is a great manufacturing software that I would highly recommend. It is robust, reliable, and easy to use, making it an ideal choice for any user.
Pros: DELMIAworks is a fantastic manufacturing software that provides users with a wide range of options and features. It is extremely user-friendly, with a well-designed interface that is easy to navigate and understand. Additionally, it offers a great level of customization, allowing users to tailor the software to their individual needs.
Cons: Although DELMIAworks is a great software, it isn't without its drawbacks. It can be quite expensive and the customer service can be lacking at times, which can be frustrating.

The training has been deplorable. Unable to answer basic questions regarding what is on the screen. A project which was to take 9 months is now looking at 12. They originally sold me with the understanding that there would be data conversion, now they say no, if we can get an answer at all. We have so much more information in our system, inventory, AP & AR, that they don't have. The demos they gave made it appear that they did. But their system is very restrictive.
Pros: Was led to believe it had drill down capabilities.
Cons: Very cumbersome to operate. What should take one action to accomplish takes 3 or 4. Must close one window to open another.
Grace S. · President · Chemicals · February 11, 2021
It was acceptable. We had multiple IQMS implementation individuals on site during implementation due to their employee turnover - first change was at our request - employee was not knowledgeable.
Pros: Ease of use for new users and the ability to "jump" from one module to another - in multiple areas of the software.
Cons: Lack of experienced team for implementation and support. The software is not written for blown extrusion but has been somewhat adapted.
Lori W. · VP Administraton · Plastics · January 28, 2021
The overall experience with DELMIAworks has been alright, I feel like IQMS has lost a bit of brand identity with the merger and makes it harder to network with other users. The software has been helping our company make some major improvements over the past year, hope to see the future products continue pushing us in the correct direction.
Pros: Our company enjoys the real-time production monitoring, inventory management and sales order generation.
Cons: On the current version we have the accounting side was a process to develop in order to make out perpetual GL balance to the GL without a massive sync up entry. We had some great support over the past few years helping us improve, but this still need massaged and managed daily. Hoping the new version with IACJ will become a little less labor intensive and we can free up some costly labor running daily transactions.

Wonderful.
Pros: The flow and ease of using it. I feel it's very user friendly and easy to navigate through it.
Cons: The Accounting Bank Reconciliation. The worst!
Danielle O. · Manager · Packaging and Containers · December 29, 2020
my experience from this software is nothing but good. It is so easy to use and user friendly that anyone can learn how to use it.
Pros: this software is so easy to use. We changed about 4 years ago from an accounting software, but, this software fits us much better
Cons: there is so much to learn from this software that I don't think we will ever learn how to use it efficiently.

Pricing of this ERP system is best will full CRM solution.
Pros: IQMS ERP Software is complete ERP Solution for medium Business with CRM solution. Function of Employees Record and reporting is awesome.
Cons: In IQMS ERP Solution didn't have any critical issue but need to improve the graphics And user interface also .
Zaighum A. · Admin · Automotive · June 30, 2020
Pros: The software itself seems very useful. Downfall on our use, was that the person helping with start up cut too many corners.
Cons: There are ALOT of windows to go through to find what you need.

great software, very complete, and what i like is that has special features for Metal Stamping companies
Pros: I really like the software we evaluate it for our company, it has special functionalities for Metal - Stamping companies, and one of the most things i like it is that it has a dedicated module for labeling and printing, it is very rare that a ERP has this important feature.
Cons: the user interface it is not that user friendly it looks like a old software, and it has a lot of information in one screen this is very usefull but sometimes it is confuse to read / understand
Jorge C. · It Manager · Automotive · May 5, 2020
In summary,....a nightmare!
Pros: Did not like the features from the start of exploration phase.
Cons: The WMS portion is a disaster. * Pick module a nightmare * No batching of orders * Every order PO needs handling * Labels take too long to generate * When printing labels, system "locks up" and you can NOT continue to work while they are printing.
BOB H. · OPS Manager · Plastics · April 1, 2020
As a small business, its crucial that we proxy for one another. IQMS has become the absolute cornerstone for day to day functionality. One area of focus that we were really excited about was the Real Time module. We, both supply and compete with billion dollar companies who must regularly review Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) as a key metric.
Pros: Its user friendly! Without having prior experience using an integrated system, I was able to lead a team, effectively self implementing from work station installs to setting up barcoding and scanning for Warehouse management.
Cons: Similar to any software, There can be a steep learning curve between modules in the beginning .
Brandon F. · Manufacturing Engineer · Plastics · February 26, 2020
Our overall experience with this system has been amazing! Cannot give it good enough ratings. The people in the company are great to work with, the other customers are a joy to be around and it is a great environment to operate in.
Pros: As we looked to grow, it was clear that we could not do it on current platform, after implementing IQMS we were able to build a platform that allowed us to double our business while maintaining our elite quality scorecard with customers like GM, Magna, BorgWarner and ZF. This technology was game changing.
Cons: It is a fringe element of the system is the SPC/quality module. I wish that there was a more robust quality module including PPAP, control plans and FMEA analysis.
Jeff H. · Vice President · Automotive · February 21, 2020
It does a very good job and happy with it.
Pros: It is able to do everything and if they do not have it now they will soon.
Cons: That to fix ki are slow to be pushed out and if they are released they have bugs.
Brian W. · IT Manager · Plastics · February 12, 2020
Pros: Real Time Monitor of Work Centers Visual Display of Current Operational Status
Cons: Electronic Data Interchange (EDI). Uniquely setup with each customer. Should have standard packages for common EDI end customers (Ex: FCA) available as needed including labels and reports. These end customers have well defined requirements that are the same for everyone.
Scott G. · Director of IT · Automotive · February 12, 2020
Able to do most of what we need and ability to write reports is a plus.
Pros: I like that it focuses on the manufacturing floor without sacrificing accounting information.
Cons: The payroll system doesn't work well when you have employees in multiple states.
Val J. · Finanial Analyst · Plastics · February 11, 2020
All systems sting when getting into them. This is one stop shopping to cover the changing landscape for full trace-ability and accountability of product throughout its PLM. Sales orders to final billing, multiple languages and multiple plants possible.
Pros: Navigation ease between modules and full integration with itself.
Cons: Old style Dash Board, needs modern day AI and context sensitive help on cursor position.
Eric H. · Principal Engineer · Medical Devices · October 24, 2019
We are in the implementation phase with IQMS. The beginning has been slow as many decisions for process flow and paperless reporting to drive the system. We are finally starting to formulate implementation plans and matrixes.
Pros: This option has solutions from Quote and Project Management to ERP and Quality. Most ERP solutions in Automotive can only provide parts of the solutions you are looking for. In most cases it is also difficult to also tie in time and attendance and production floor status dashboards. We selected IQMS because it could provide all of the solutions in one implementation. It also has a robust Preventative Maintenance solution tied to production reporting. The purchase order module is robust as it handles both inventory from MRP and MRO requirements.
Cons: The Asset Management module does not meet GAAP requirements for auditing but it can assist the Preventative Maintenance group with purchasing history.
Marsha P. · Controller · Automotive · October 23, 2019
Inventory, work order, purchase order and sales order control.
Pros: User friendly. Graphical. Document Control. BOMs
Cons: Scheduling is not good for industries with multiple process steps.
Chuck T. · Director of Engineering · Machinery · September 3, 2019
Compared with other ERP systems, it doesn't require the backend support that many competitors require. IQMS runs on an average server with out a lot of customization costs and high end hardware.
Pros: Fairly intuitive. Most areas are quick to use without a deep dive. Depending on your view one of the benefits is that you can jump from module to module via right click. Multiple ways to reach the same information.
Cons: Reporting is a little cumbersome unless you are well versed in Crystal Reporting or have the lead time to have a custom report built.
