Very positive. Customer support is responsive and I really don't have any serious or substantive complaints.
Pros: Value for money is hard to beat. The reporting and analysis tools are what convinced me to switch over. Our organization has been a customer for a little over a year and they are constantly making improvements and upgrades.
Cons: There are some features/modifications that I wish would come a little sooner. The household function is pretty clunky for example and with a little bit of work it could make it much more useful. There are bigger modifications like the Keela/Aplos integration that could use some work, but I can appreciate how difficult this integration is to do well.

We have been finding keela really helpful. We are still getting used to parts of the system and are learning new things every day.
Pros: Customer service is very helpful and prompt. We currently have been working with [sensitive content hidden] - she has been so helpful and has gone above and beyond to help us with any questions we have as we are navigation new parts of the Keela system. Keela has also been a lot more user-friendly than other systems we have tried. I really like the automation function, the ability to customize pretty much everything, and the way the data is logged and presented.
Cons: Sometimes the segments and automation don't properly filter what I am trying to filter. Some of it has to do with the labeling of the segment filters being similar or unclear. Sometimes it just doesn't work properly and I have to get creative with how to filter. I am seeing that there have been a lot of updates made to rectify this and have been noticing positive changes. Sometimes the reporting isn't the easiest to navigate, either including sometimes the widgets breaking.

Our experience with Keela has been mixed. The actual functionality of the tool covers 80% of what we need, which we consider good. Because the support team is very slow to respond, this unfortunately counteracts the effectiveness of Keela as a donor management platform. It is also difficult to connect between Australia and Canada, because the time zones are so different, and we are unable to call the support team during our own working hours. We acknowledge this presents a challenge with regards to communication. It would be great if we could receive a basic written update on our open support tickets, once or twice a week.
Pros: The Keela platform is generally very effective and user-friendly. It covers the core requirements of a donor management platform without being too complex or requiring plug-ins and add-ons.

It shows dashboards and reports so nonprofits profits can see how much money is coming in and coming out from where it includes email to so organizations can message donors and segment audiences example first time donors versus long-term supporters
Pros: It keeps track of supporters contact details and giving history in one database. Record one time and reoccurring donations and connects them to donor profiles.
Cons: There is nothing bad I can say about Kayla it is a very good software. It is all self-explanatory. It is very easy to use great tools for managing fundraising easier

Keela is an amazing tool for all users at any level of our organization. It's great for self serve inquiries. It has empowered to explore this system without fear of breaking it. I've already recommended it to other non profit organizations in our community.
Pros: I really enjoyed my 1st year using Keela and the bulk receipting tool, especially. It made this daunting task, super simple. I also appreciate being able to issue real time tax receipts with each qualifying donation. The Keela AI notebook is a very useful tool, as a new client to this CRM. It empowers me to explore without feeling afraid 'of breaking the system.' Keela is user-friendly, even at the novice level and the resource videos have helped me on my journey as our organization's database manager. Our previous CRM was archaic and hard to understand when it came to creating lists, tags and segments. Keela is very intuitive and seamless in their processes, and their knowledge I've learned in one area has been a building block in another area. Even something as entering new contact's address has data embedded to autofill the address before I've finished typing. This makes a basic task quick to complete. I wished we had found Keela sooner!
Cons: I wish Keela had the built in functionality to process monthly recurring donations via customer bank accounts also.

Pros: Their ability to create segments, use filters, and create email campaigns integrated with forms is very helpful for maintaining donor relationships
Cons: Their support staff takes a long time to resolve tickets. Consider hiring more staff to help alleviate.

Overall, great experience. Everyone I've communicated with has been very kind and helpful. And they do listen to customer feedback and have made changes. I appreciate that in a company.
Pros: I like that they provide a great all-in-one for most donor management, fundraising and email marketing needs.
Cons: The upgraded customer service was phenomenal. Once you're on the normal plan, email correspondence has been slower than expected.

I mainly use the donation portion of Keela so did not respond to the email marketing portion of Keela. Overall would like better customer response and help instead of referring me to the knowledge base section.
Pros: Importing data into keela. Easy to navigate. Reporting - Can produce several reports that are usefull. Many filters to use. Easy to setup ie campaigns impact area
Cons: Tax receipt - received many complaints about the length of our tax receipts for donors who donate monthly. Slow response to customer support. When inputting a manual donation you can not edit the data if you made a mistake. For example if I inputted the wrong date I can not change it when I did not issue a tax receipt. Tried to preform a donation summary report and the date produced was incorrect. Emailed customer service put have not received feedback

It's been good. Definitely a learning curve at time, but the 1:1's that I've had with our representative have been very useful for asking questions and troubleshooting problem areas.
Pros: Keela is very user friendly, and the features are perfect for tracking donor interactions and maintaining engagement with donors and volunteers alike. The email bcc/fwd feature is amazingly helpful.
Cons: I can't email both or all members of a household at once. If I filter a report and then export it, it navigates from that filtered page and if I want to back and review it, I have to put all the filters back in.

Overall our experence has been great. When we needed help, Keela customer support was there every time.
Pros: Keela is great. When we started with keela, there was a steep learning curve. The customer service was excellent and answered all our questions. And we asked a lot of questions.
Cons: It took a while for us to learn how to generate reports. There are a lot of steps and because we don't generate reports all the time, we have to re-learn it each time.

Pros: The integreatted forms and communications feature has been my faviourte part of keela so far. In our previous setup we would be boucing between mailchimp, eventbrite and google forms, but now all of that has been collected in one place making it easy to use on a daily basis. It is also a huge benefit that we can add multiple team members to keela, this allows us to give employess access to only what they need to manage.
Cons: So far we have had problems with the lack of integrations with softwares other than stripe. Although the online integration of stripe is usefull we are still required to upload payments made of debit machines (Clover) and e-transfers. If Keela were to offer integration with stripe terminals this would make things much smoother for smaller organizations which operate on less man power.

Overall, I have had a very good experience with Keela.
Pros: I appreciate that it is very easy to find information about individuals donors. The search function works the way I hope it should (put the name in and information pops up) and it isn't frustrating waiting for results. I also appreciate how I can quickly reach giving information for donors and see both recent and historical information without any trouble.
Cons: I would appreciate a Keela app for my phone. I do a lot of donor visits and if I was able to look up information on my phone for a certain donor, that would be incredibly helpful. Also, streamlining reports creation would be helpful. As the leader of my org, I don't do a lot of report creation but when I must do it, it gets confusing very quickly. I am not sure how to make this better but it seems like it could be.

Pros: Keela is easy to use right out of the box, and comes with outstanding customer support for any kinks you may not be able to work out yourself. Importing our old data and onboarding the system was painless.
Cons: Keela is currently lacking in good old-fashioned database functionality like linking consituents to each other and powerful list and query capabilities.

Overall I am very impressed with Keela as a hub for organizational information.
Pros: The platform brings together so many tools, which makes it super flexible and efficient for nonprofit management. It’s like having a Swiss army knife for organization, communication, and fundraising all in one place, without the need to jump between apps.
Cons: One downside I've found is with the Zapier integration—not all fields are available for mapping, which can be a bit limiting. It’s more of a personal use issue, but it would make a big difference for streamlining specific workflows if all fields were accessible for mapping.

Pros: Keela software stands out for its user-friendly interface, making it easy for nonprofits like ours to manage their operations efficiently. It offers many donor management features, including tracking donations, managing contacts, and communications tools, all of which we use frequently. Additionally, Keela's timely customer support is always appreciated. The software also integrates easily with tools like QuickBooks and PayPal. Overall very pleased with Keela.
Cons: One thing challenge I've had with Keela is its contact merging feature. While it does help identify and merge duplicate contacts, the process can be quite cumbersome. Additionally, once contacts are merged, they cannot be unmerged, which means I have to be very careful during the merging process.

Pros: I like that it is very simple and user friendly. Easy to learn. It does what we need it for which is to log our donations as they come in and keep them organzied.
Cons: The inconvenience of having to make updates/changes when it's the same change for multiple logs. If an impact area needs to be changed to something else or moved under a different category, there is no "select all" or "move" button (think emails) and so I would have to individually go through every single log to make the change which requires several steps.

I have been able to provide amazing benefits to the organization and give program managers to material they need to garner donations and further communicate with those donors. It has completed changed our donation process.
Pros: Being able to house all of our donors and easily communicate with them. Having a place to create forms for revenue and donations within minutes and share it out to the public. Processing fee cover option for donors.
Cons: Not being able to add stock/ quantities to revenue forms. Also formatting images to forms so that it looks professional and parts of the image aren't cut off.

Keela has an excellent customer support team that is responsive and helpful and I do feel that they take user feedback seriously. That said, I wish I had made a different selection when choosing a new CRM. We're sticking with Keela for now in part because it is a huge undertaking to switch to a new database. If I could turn back time I would have chosen a more established company. If Keela is able to make some improvements to the basics they will have our business for a long time.
Pros: When selecting a new CRM Keela stood out to me due to the fact that it is highly customizable. For our needs, this was essential and it has lived up to my expectations in this area where many other options would not have fit our needs. The forms are beautiful and easy to customize. I like that it integrates easily with Paypal and Stripe. From a donor experience perspective, Keela is a huge upgrade from our previous CRM which was very important to us and a big reason why we switched. I've also found the customer support team to be responsive and helpful, and they seem to be constantly working on improving the platform which I appreciate! It never takes long to get a response and they will work with you to support you as much as you need.
Cons: Surprisingly, Keela's basic functions are where it lacks the most. Accurate and easy to use search bar? No way. Intuitive reporting? Nope. Mobile functionality? None. I didn't even think to consider these features when making my selection because I assumed that all platforms would be at least decent in these most basic arenas and I was weighing the bells and whistles. Keela's bells and whistles are fantastic, but the basics are sorely lacking. I know it is a relatively new database so I'm optimistic that improvements will continue to be made.

Extremely poor, there is no way to get timely human help. The program is not intuitive, contacts can't be cleaned up easily if there are duplicates (name of contacts are connected with company, company has a separate listing, deceased contacts can't be deleted, etc). By the time someone at Keela responds via messaging, our events are over and we've lost critical donors and contacts are frustrated. Pros: Our [sensitive content hidden] liked the clean look of the interface, but beyond that, as the [sensitive content hidden], I have no pro and keeping the program is no sustainable because it glitches with credit card payments, usually in the clutch of a big fundraiser. I've had it with this program.
Cons: example: right now we're screwed by Keela. It stopped taking credit card payments in the middle of our fundraiser event. Totally unreliable credit card acceptance, Fundraising events need reliable links for donors, forms need to work without frustrating donors by rejecting all credit card payments. Our own tests of credit cards doesn't work. The form will work for awhile, and then we lose critical time and labor with all the calls that the link won't accept credit card numbers and we have to manually take payments. Its unsustainable.
