DonorPerfect

Pros: It is easy to use and offers outstanding customer support. We have a major fundraising event every year and the Events Manager module provides us with a powerful tool to manage the event.

Cons: It is expensive for a not-for-profit, but in the end, it helps with the donor management and reports needed to run the organization.

Pros: Uploading the data and exporting the report. It is very easy to handle. Membership management is very good and easy to use.

Cons: Entering the date, and there is a lot of statistical information. Donor management is super easy. Customer support is very good.

Pros: I think it is an easy tool to navigate and the support team is just amazing. I feel after 3 years using it that it keeps updating and bringing new features like the new online forms. The donor management possibilities are great and we have work to do to use it at its full potential.

Cons: There is nothing that comes to mind. I think sometimes building reports can be a bit challenging, but again the support team is always very helpful and quick.

Pros: It is a pretty user friendly CRM for someone who is willing to put some time in to learn the ins and outs, but it's not complicated. Anytime I have run into a challenge, I reach out to customer support and get help from a real person immediately. Everyone I have interacted with has been extremely helpful. There are multiple different ways to manage donor profiles and organize campaigns which I appreciate. It just takes some time to invest in learning.

Cons: I think at first it can be a little overwhelming because there are so many things it can do and help with at an organization. It just takes some investment of time to learn those aspects.

Pros: The ease of use to customize the fields to what works for our charity. We are coming from an Excel Spreadsheet and minimizing things is great.

Cons: The learning curve, alot of different drop down menus and screens to navigate. I would like one screen that would have all my needs customized into one place

Pros: I find the chat function SO helpful! It is a real person and not a computer, which is so rare. I always like to try to figure out something on my own but chat always comes through in the end.

Cons: It is a bit complex and just takes a lot of time to learn. There are so many functions and options that it is a big undertaking.

Pros: Ease of Use, Value for Money, and combined software for fundraising and CRM activity. Fundraising campaigns are easy as well.

Cons: At this point, nothing! The customer support has been awesome so far and ease of use is primary pro.

Pros: What I like most about DonorPerfect is the donor management system and the customer service. Anytime I have a problem or question, customer service is super helpful.

Cons: Can be confusing to use at times and will have to do a google search to figure out how to stop a monthly donation. Or if bi-monthly donation is an option and how to set that up.

Pros: The set up process was incredibly simple. As a new ED with the group, we are in the process of launching multiple initiatives at once and it is so nice to have something like this go so smoothly.

Cons: So far, I haven't had any stumbling blocks so it is difficult to say what I like least. I suppose the only con so far is the fact that I am still building my team so my time is limited in the capacity I would like it to be to focus on really exploring all of the features available.

Pros: DonorPerfect is straightforward, organized, detailed, and very professional. I love using it for tracking donations, memberships, and its ability to connect with Constant Contact

Cons: Sometimes the site can be hard to navigate, but once you know what to look for, it is super productive and easy!

Pros: I really appreciated how DonorPerfect centralizes donor interactions. Being able to see a full history of communication, engagement, and giving in one place made it easier to build more personalized and consistent relationships.

Cons: One thing I found challenging was that some of the reporting options weren’t as flexible as I would have liked. When I needed more customized or layered reports, it sometimes took extra steps or workarounds to get exactly what I needed.

Pros: There are some really great processes on DonorPerfect. Donor thank you letters are an almost seamless process, either in batches or in the gift screen. The event planning piece is another that I feel like I could use even better. I think it has everything we need at a more affordable price than other data management systems!

Cons: I'd love a few tweaks, for instance the ability to date limit people's attributes (flags) and export some reports that don't currently export - having to hand type my events report was disappointing.

Pros: The customer service and support for DonorPerfect has been top notch! I appreciate the constant efforts towards inprovement with the software.

Cons: There are a few basic things so many have requested that I wish could be updated. Better differentiation between orgs and individuals, better way to attach multiple individuals to organizations, better prospect and pipelin management.

Pros: Reliable, great customer support via chat and phone, so many possibilities with reporting and pulling queries.

Cons: I feel as if I need a degree in data management to use DP in the ways I want. I was a novice when I started in the field of development and have learned everything along the way. If I had a background in data, I'm sure it would be easier to navigate. However, since I am not a data management expert, I crave a more intuitive user experience.

Pros: DonorPerfect has been great for our organization. The ease of running reports and tracking donor information is fantastic! We are able to make sure we are staying in touch with everyone. Tracking donations based on fundraising campaigns in essential to the work we do, and DonorPerfect simplifies that for everyone in our organization.

Cons: Having to verify my login information every 10 days is a bit tedious. If there is a way to stay verified longer, that would be preferable.

Pros: I love that a real person is available to answer my questions. The support team are fabulous - patient and knowledgeable.

Cons: I currently have no concerns about using DonorPerfect. I inherited the system when I took this position and it works well.

Pros: I love the fantastic customer service the Donor Perfect provides. It is quick and always helpful. Their staff is highly knowledgeable.

Cons: The project is quite costly, compared to other donor management systems, especially for a smaller nonprofit like ours.

Pros: Ease of use and emails about tips and webinars. The platform is supported by helpful onboarding materials, and one of its strengths is the consistent flow of emails offering tips, best practices, and invitations to webinars. These resources are valuable for ongoing learning, helping teams improve efficiency, discover features they may not be using, and stay updated on new tools and capabilities.

Cons: It works well for teams using a shared database, although collaboration features are relatively basic.

Pros: So many tools available to create reports, send automated receipts and more. The customer service has also been incredibly helpful.

Cons: It's a bit complicated to undo the previous work of other people. I'm still untangling the web of some automated receipts, some that aren't.

Pros: Within a week of using Donor Perfect, I already felt that this platform was what we were searching for. The cost is reasonable, customer support sublime, and constant contact is a highly valued addition. Having one contract for email marketing and our donor database does not exist in the same way anywhere else.

Cons: We're till figuring out the quirks. I have to pull reports to find people who are located in a certain state instead of searching the state like in other platforms, but that's a small adjustment.

Pros: This is a great donor management product. In terms of the capabilities for tracking and reporting, I've found it unmatched when compared with other software. Their customer support and training is also fantastic.

Cons: There is consistently a lag with the editing process for donor records and gifts, which is frustrating. Basically, you'll click on a box to edit it, and then the page pauses and thinks for a moment before allowing you to edit. When doing a lot of edits in a row, it can be very annoying.

Pros: One of my favorite things about DonorPerfect is the live support—it’s always there when I need help—as well as the knowledgebase, which I can turn to anytime I want to deepen my understanding or learn something new.

Cons: What I like least about DonorPerfect is that the coding can get a little tricky at times, especially when trying to customize or implement more advanced features. But again, support is always available to walk through with me.
