Pros: The ability to create custom reports using DataMiner Platinum greatly enhances our ability to retrieve the data we need.

Cons: The app’s layout is inefficient: when working in Notes and Contacts simultaneously, I must close and save one to continue using the other.

Pros: Easy to use and the customer service is FABULOUS!!! I get my questions answered very quickly. the reports are also great and easy to generate. As a non-for-profit cat rescue our donors are what keeps our organization going and DS makes it so easy to stay on top of the very important acknowledgment letters as well as producing very useful reports.

Cons: Can't think of anything at the moment. there was a learning curve to load in new acknowledgement letters but frankly, the support was amazing!

Pros: The On-Line donations interface with our website works great and we have very few issues with on-line donations getting imported directly into the Donorsnap donor database. The End of Year Contribution Statement processing works very well. We use both the Email option for Contribution statements when we have an email address and the printing option for donors without an email address. The database reporting options have provided our non-profit with a great deal of reporting flexibility and gives us the reports we need and use for managing our donor database.

Cons: The mass email option works, but does not have as much flexibility as we would sometimes prefer when trying to import documents or format a mass email.

Pros: It was very cheap and could handle the basics and simple CRM tasks. It is customizable enough that you also aren't missing out if you're a small nonprofit.

Cons: It feels and looks old. It is a little clunky sometimes, and there are a few quirks you have to get used to.

Pros: The ease of use. While the program is set up to be very intuitive, there are also plenty of tutorials to help me master features I may not use too often and thus need a refresher.

Cons: Nothing specific comes to mind. I don't get to learn as much as I would like on features, just due to other responsibilities.

Pros: Donorsnap above all has great customer service. Any issues we have, they are quick to respond. The reports are also easy to run to get quick data.

Cons: Some of the areas of Donosnap can be complex, however, with that said.. they provide training videos and webinars which are always go to.

Pros: The trainings and support team are so valuable to me, I re-watch trainings often to refresh or see what I have missed in order to get the most out of the database. I appreciate when I have any questions about a project the Donor Snap team is always quick to get back to me with actual help. The user-friendly adaptability features for customization make the database extremely useful for our organization.

Cons: That I was in this system for over 2 years before I knew about the Donor Snap Blog! It is very helpful for ongoing learning.

Pros: I enjoy the customizability of creating a database that can be filtered to my needs. The data pull feature is also very user friendly.

Cons: Some complications with accessing the “list” feature. There could also be improvements on detecting duplicates.

Pros: Great and speedy customer support, easy to use, lots of useful tutorials available, and the integration with QuickBooks is a plus. So glad it's user friendly without a ton of complicated keystrokes or steps required.

Cons: Wish it had more features as an all-around CRM, such as event planning and auction management. EventSnap and AuctionSnap add-ons do not quite offer enough functionality.

Pros: DonorSnap is very cost-effective and the customer service is top-notch! I get replies via email very quickly and the system itself is easy to use. We are a non-profit and DonorSnap has been a KEY part of keeping our records and finances on track.

Cons: The only thing I could say I liked least about DonorSnap is a few of the restrictions (data-wise). Reports can be difficult to pull and getting detailed causes a challenge. BUT, with DonorSnap Analytics, most of those problems have been resolved!

Pros: DonorSnap is a comprehensive CRM that makes it easy for me to track donations, send thank you/tax letters and emails, interactions with donors and patrons- all of the things I need to do to help a non-profit to run smoothly. It automates many tasks that used to take much longer with just excel spreadsheets and similar programs. And it allows a wider range of functions. The customer support provided is outstanding. I send in a question, and a helpful response comes back to me faster than with any other 'help desk' that I've used. I appreciate that we can have multiple team member profiles to be able to maintain this crm. It's an incredibly effective tool for our organization.

Cons: I really don't have any dislikes about it- I started using it just about a year ago, and the trainings available are excellent. And anything I couldn't figure out right away or through a training, customer service has been able to solve for me.

Pros: Straightforward pricing, intuitive and user-friendly interface, highly customizable, excellent customer support

Cons: While overall I find the interface to be more intuitive/user-friendly than other donor management systems, scrolling through contacts is tedious compared to other programs and understanding the query builder is less intuitive and takes some getting used to but the trainings offered are very helpful!

Pros: We, as an organization, have used Donosnap for 11 years now. We like the complete data it imports and the ease of putting in manual checks. The best part is the online input is as easy as 2 clicks and all the info is pulled in under the donor in a second! love that! It is also so easy to create specific reports & donor gifts if they want a quick update. The system, as a whole, is a great value for the cost.

Cons: The thing i like least is probably using email for support as I am a verbal customer & prefer phone calls

Pros: What do I like ,,,,, I am new to my company and have used DonorSnap for 8 months now - I am the accountant and have never used a donor software before. I find that the training webinars very helpful - easy to find what I needed and they were well thought out. I have also contacted technical support when I couldn't find an answer and they were very professional and helpful.

Cons: What do I like least ...... that is a hard one for me - since I am still learning what DonorSnap can do, I don't have anything specific that I don't like at this point. My next large learning curve will be how to integrate with QuickBooks - which is very important to me.

Pros: I like that it's easy to use and customizable to fit our organization's needs. I appreciate the various webinars the DonorSnap team hosts and all the posts they have on the help website.

Cons: I sometimes struggle with pulling the information I need from reports. However, I feel that this is user error more than it is a design flaw.

Pros: The flexibility and customization are fantastic—I can add fields to most screens, which makes it much easier to capture and manage information in our supporter database.

Cons: I would be so excited to have an interactive and easy to use app! Also, it would be great to have the ability to duplicate entries in Interaction and Tickler tabs (like available in the Donations tab.

Pros: For the cost, this software can do so much and much of it is easier to accomplish than on the larger legacy CRM systems. I really like how items can be customized for data entry.

Cons: It's not as intuitive for non-tech people. I have a strong query background and still struggle navigating building reports and getting the fields I want. However, the pre-built reports are amazing to use and have most (if not all) of the routine information easily accessible.

Pros: The ease of use and the reports are very useful for grant writing. It also allows us to generate thank you letters for all donors.

Cons: Building queries seems like a bit of a hassle until you learn the process, then its very simple and helpful

Pros: Donor Snap customer service is great! They have a wealth of educational videos, and if those don't answer your question, their customer service team is quick to respond to any emails (usually within an hour)!

Cons: A few of the options take some time and additional knowledge (like doing HTML for emails), but even then the DonorSnap staff are willing to help with whatever you need.

Pros: Donor Snap is so much easier to use, than two other CRM's that I had used previously. Easy to learn, and they have excellent training videos, which is where I am able to get the majority of my questions answered. When I can't find the answer on their Help/Training site, I will send an email off to the support team, and typically get a response with an answer within 30 minutes. A previous CRM product could take 2-3 weeks for an answer. There reporting options are also very easy to use. So much easier than those other guys. If you are proficient with Microsoft Office products you should have no issues.

Cons: The weakest link I would say is with the ability to send emails that are heavy on graphics. It is also possible that I have not tried enough, or asked the correct questions.

Pros: I’ve been using DonorSnap for nearly 10 years, and it has been an incredible tool for managing donor relationships. The platform is user-friendly, reliable, and packed with features that make tracking and engaging with donors a breeze. One of the standout aspects is its affordability—it offers great value for organizations of all sizes. What truly sets DonorSnap apart is its excellent customer service. Anytime I’ve had a question or needed assistance, their team has been responsive, helpful, and genuinely invested in making sure I succeed. Over the years, I’ve recommended DonorSnap to several organizations, and they’ve all had positive experiences as well.

Cons: If there’s one thing I’d love to see improved, it’s their presence at fundraising conferences. These events are where I connect with the largest audience of nonprofit professionals, and I think DonorSnap could make a big impact by being more visible in those spaces. It would be great to see them there more often!

Pros: The screens are easy to use; the reports are easy to compile; and the team is always quick to respond to any questions that I may have. It's also great that you provide free training sessions!

Cons: The only con is that reports can't have a customizable header that specifies exactly what the report contains --- it would be nice to see at a glance what the report is by a title listed on the top.

Pros: The customer service/help department is quick to respond and always provides resolution. Donation logging and profile creation is simple and straightforward.

Cons: I struggle some with creating reports in data miner gold and platinum. Pledge tracking and reporting is also difficult.
