Pros: Clean, customizable design – The font size, style, and color options make forms and interfaces easy to read and visually appealing. Flexible features – IntakeQ tools offer strong customization for forms, workflows, and client communication. Helpful tutorials – Clear guides and instructional videos make setup and optimization simple. Responsive Q&A and customer support – Support hours are great, and help reps respond quickly and effectively. Easy to use – The platform is intuitive and user-friendly, even for beginners. Reasonable pricing – Offers strong value for the features included. Multi-account discount – Adding sub-accounts to a main account comes with appealing discounts, lowering overall cost.
Cons: Occasional navigation confusion – A few settings are tucked into menus that aren’t immediately obvious. Limited visual customization in some areas – While fonts and colors are great, some layout sections may feel slightly restricted.

Horrific and I’m switching EHR‘s. They told me they were gonna get their own clearing house when I signed up and then changed their mind. Everything relies on integrations that cost additional money and the integrations aren’t that great. The customization I thought would be a positive thing and in some ways it was, but it makes it so chaotic and glitchy that it’s really not worth it.
Pros: I love the customization until I realize that it turns into a hell scape of processes and a web that you can’t get yourself out of and then when you try to change something, it messes the whole system up.

Cons: The customer service is an abhorrent and the gaslight you. Don’t have something labeled as a pay period income report when it’s not the income report for that pay period. And then act like I don’t know what I’m doing because it says that it’s the report for a pay period when it’s not actually report for the pay period.

My experience with PracticeQ has been incredibly frustrating. Issues that directly impacted my ability to provide care were not handled with the urgency or professionalism I expected. I had to repeatedly follow up myself just to get basic support, and even then, communication was poor and solutions were delayed. To make matters worse, I’m now dealing with additional account issues with no clear resolution—only excuses and zero accountability. As a healthcare provider, I need a platform I can rely on. Unfortunately, PracticeQ has fallen short on every level. I would not recommend it.
Pros: The things I liked prior to using, in actual practice fell away due to the struggle of getting anything to work correctly. I am very tech savvy so the fact I couldn’t get anything resolved on my own is an issue and the steps to get issues resolved is extremely flawed. Having to call 4 times for the same issue is unacceptable.
Cons: Poor follow up on urgent issues. Conflicting information to help resolve issues making more work for the user for absolutely no reason. Poor customer service. Lack of accountability, poor product overall.

Established Practice Q in a current 2 provider small practice in September of 2024. It was a very easy implementation and some of the integrations make it very easy to file claims and check eligibility
Pros: For the need that we have, it gives us everything we need. The forms creation is excellent in that it is integrated with the note and provides quality information to the provider when seeing a patient
Cons: Just remembering where to find certain things under the few headings on the dashboard, But once I got into the flow, it became second nature
Michelle A. · Practice Administrator · Medical Practice · March 25, 2025
It was great for the price and good for small practice
Pros: The price was very affordable and it was simple and easy to learn
Cons: The report set up was not great, also billing was not an option
Hillary A. · Speech therapist · Medical Practice · February 25, 2025
It was great when we were a small practice, but it was not efficient as we grew.
Pros: The visuals of the product are great. The customization of the whole system were wonderful too.
Cons: The secondary billing was a nightmare to track and keep up with. It was very inefficient.
Katie M. · Owner and Occupational Therapist · Health, Wellness and Fitness · February 23, 2025
Overall I have found it very easy to use on the go and in the office. I am able to document on site with clients using a tablet, check information on my phone and use the computer version when in my office. It is easy to track my active clients using tabs and keeps the whole team organized.
Pros: I find it very easy to use for the management of my patients information. My favorite feature is the ability to setup processes. For example, when a patient fills out an online interest form a member of my team gets a notification and reminder to setup a time to call this patient. When they complete their intake my front office gets a message to work on their order and I get a message to get them scheduled. It is very helpful for work flows.
Cons: I have been using Practice Q for a year and a half. The biggest issues I have faced are difficulty with time zones. When I have a client in a different time zones, these do not show up on my schedule in the clients time zone so I have to make a note on the calendar of the actual time of the call. Often it sends my clients a meeting reminder with the wrong time on it. I also wish that under clients chart "overview" section that it date/time stamped changes. It was several months before I realized this didn't happen and then I started leaving notes in the comments section to have a date/time of a conversation or updated information on the client.

Pros: flexibility and adaptability. I love the feature and everything!
Cons: I have to set up everything but I guess it is a byproduct of being too customizable.
Yixi D. · nurse practitioner · Hospital & Health Care · October 29, 2024
Overall a positive experience. One negative has been emails that are bouncing due to "rate" issues. Good response from support.
Pros: easy to use and is helpful to have the information sent electronically to our patients
Cons: having problems with emails not going through to our patients
Carla W. · Office Assistant · Medical Practice · October 11, 2024
Pros: It is very easy to use and helps improve practice flow with online intake forms. Easy for patients to use.
Cons: It does not integrate with my EHR and therefore takes a bit of work to copy the data.
Abraham Y. · Optometry · Hospital & Health Care · October 10, 2024
It’s been a great addition to my practice - I’m able to save a lot of chair time!
Pros: The user friendliness - my patients are able to fill out my customized intake form and sign the HIPAA virtually!
Cons: Wish it synced with TAB appointment book and was more automated
Sofia S. · Optometrist · Medical Practice · October 10, 2024
I haven't had any issues with this system yet. Very pleased.
Pros: Convenience. Simplicity. No stress involved.
Cons: I don't like the right hand column that shows the incomplete intake paperwork.
Shannon P. · Business office manager · Health, Wellness and Fitness · October 10, 2024
I love it- it is very easy to use an easy to get customer service
Pros: The service when I first opened my account, he literally helped me build my forms and gave me lots of advice and answered all my calls without getting upset
Cons: You cannot maneuver from Paige to Paige you have a kind of go back and then go back into the page
Melinda S. · RN · Health, Wellness and Fitness · October 10, 2024
The overall experience has been very easy and user friendly. There was support there constantly if we needed
Pros: It is very user friendly and it helps patient visits go by much quicker.
Cons: The thing we like lease about PracticeQ is the setup on Ipads.
Halden M. · Doctor of Chiropractic · Medical Practice · October 10, 2024
10/10. They are quick to answer my email questions, they respond to the needs for the financial questions, and they are a joy to use daily.
Pros: I like the integrations of the financial payment system, the faxes, google drive and drop box, and the ability to have all my information electronically from booking from website to the forms. It adds a layer or protection without paper in the office.
Cons: There are some features that are not as advanced and they communicate frequently with the users to adapt the most needed things for each type of practice (the positive for the area they are currently lacking).
Erienne B. · Doctor of Physical Therapy Owner · Medical Practice · October 10, 2024
I have had a great experience with PracticeQ so far.
Pros: The ability to customize the system. I like the design of the system and the ease to navigate it.
Cons: Some features are difficult to navigate, such as signing off on notes, locking notes, and difficulty integrating forms.
Tyneisha D. · Owner · Mental Health Care · October 9, 2024
Overall I am really happy with it as an owner.
Pros: Integration with square for invoicing. I also love the ability to invoice packages.
Cons: Only able to view team schedule as separate columns in single day view.
Lindsay K. · Owner physical therapist · Health, Wellness and Fitness · October 9, 2024
Pretty smooth sailing, I like how it can do payment plans internally!
Pros: Easy to use, has the basic stuff you need as a medusa owner
Cons: Missing some features; I've put in feature requests before and does not get addressed very often.
Shazmeen D. · Nurse Injector · Hospital & Health Care · October 8, 2024
I really enjoy using it and love how it does pretty much everything I need and makes it easy
Pros: I love that it has everything in one place
Cons: the complexity of pinning notes and forms not updating for clients who initially were using older versions of the progress note or treatment plan.
Melissa p. · Therapist · Mental Health Care · October 8, 2024
Overall, my experience has been excellent. i love the ability to set up my independent practice and allow the clients the ability to set their appointments and communicate on a secure plate form.
Pros: I love the ability to create my own forms. This allow me the the flexibility to create exactly what I need to ensure that I have the most valuable information on each client.
Cons: I would love if it a built in scribe software was available.
Jaschandria B. · Owner · Mental Health Care · October 8, 2024
Pros: Customization & AMAZING customer service
Cons: Can be complex initially, but once set up it’s very useful.
Laci J. · IBCLC · Medical Practice · October 8, 2024
Very positive coming from using a more archaic interface.
Pros: The ease of the interface and custom controls.
Cons: There are some abilities missing from the program since it is so new.
Angelica I. · Receptionist · Mental Health Care · October 8, 2024
Overall PracticeQ is a great EHR. Having set up automations and questionnaires that flow into the note, having scheduling incorporated on my website, having a pre-screener and overall, the ease of running my practice with PracticeQ really decreases my workload.
Pros: The automations are the best part. No other EHR I have used, demoed or researched has the level of automations PracticeQ has which makes things run so smooth and very hands off. The EHR is easy to use and the learning curve compared to other EHRs is far lower making setup or edits very easy.
Cons: It’s a little slower overall compared to other EHRs I have used. Not quite as many features compared to others as well. Design is kind of bland, but that’s just personal preference.
Steven K. · Owner · Health, Wellness and Fitness · October 8, 2024
It has been a smooth transition to managing my solo practice using IntakeQ. Support has been prompt and helpful.
Pros: Ease of customization for notes. Interface is simple.
Cons: Inability to send bulk forms to patients. Unable to customize client display name.
Lindsey M. · Psychiatric Provider · Mental Health Care · October 8, 2024
great overall, especially for the price!
Pros: simple to use, very intuitive. easy to change forms.
Cons: Rx pricing is not great and the interface is not ideal.
