Pros: The ease of documentation with SPRY as well as the outstanding customer support have made our lives much easier! Highly recommend SPRY!
Cons: We are still navigating through all of the available tools so we have not had a chance to cover everything yet. No cons noted at this time.
Marco J. · Physical Therapist · Hospital & Health Care · May 20, 2026
Rough start, however, getting smoother as we go. Still ironing out the bumps but overall significantly improved from the start.
Pros: The attentiveness of staff has been great while we work through the initial bumps. The AI is very helpful and has streamlined our documentation.
Cons: The software and team did not appear prepared for clinical rules, such as certain documentation guidelines. Once speaking with their on-staff Physical Therapist, she was able to clear up some of these concerns and teach the team what is appropriate. However, we still run into challenges to today.

Overall, my experience with Spry has been very supportive. They have been very focused on ensuring that the platform is effectively customized to my practice. And having the support of the credentialing/billing team has been such a relief.
Pros: The Spry team has been extremely supportive and efficient. They truly care about finding workable solutions and make themselves available to troubleshoot any issues that arise. They are extremely responsive to any request that I have had.
Cons: There were some team members that I did not mesh well with, but it could have just been a personality issue.

Spry is solving several key challenges we faced with previous EMR systems, particularly inefficiency, poor usability, and lack of meaningful support. Its intuitive design and streamlined workflows have made daily operations much more efficient, while the hands-on onboarding and ongoing support ensure issues are quickly resolved without disrupting clinic flow. Additionally, Spry addresses gaps in billing and business visibility by providing dedicated billing support and robust reporting tools, allowing us to better manage insurance versus cash-pay services and clearly understand our clinic’s financial performance. As a result, we’re operating more efficiently, collecting revenue more effectively, and making more confident, informed business decisions.
Pros: Spry has been a game-changer for our clinic, primarily due to its intuitive design, seamless onboarding, and exceptional ongoing support. The platform is easy to learn and navigate, allowing our team to become efficient quickly, while Spry’s team handled our migration and continues to provide hands-on guidance through dedicated clinical and billing account managers. Their support has improved both our workflows and revenue processes, especially by optimizing insurance and cash-pay systems. Additionally, the robust reporting tools give us clear insight into profitability and operations, helping us make smarter business decisions. Overall, Spry has not only increased our efficiency but also strengthened my confidence as a clinic owner.
Cons: One downside of Spry is the occasional system glitches. While they aren’t frequent, they can be frustrating when they occur—particularly when the HEP program doesn’t sync with the note as expected, requiring extra time to correct.

My experience with the EHR has been really great. They are quick to respond via slack when I need help.
Pros: The ease of use. I can get anywhere in the system easily. They customized everything for me as well.
Cons: The reports are somewhat difficult to understand. But they are working on making this better and taking advice.

Overall, our clinic has been satisfied with the switch to Spry. It is very user friendly and we are able to complete our daily tasks quickly and efficiently.
Pros: The system is easy to use and is very customizable to the needs of our clinic. Customer service is very responsive and quick to complete requests.
Cons: Sometimes we are not able to find uploads that a patient has provided from their home computer or mobile device, so we need to have the patient provide documents and/or information again.

Pleased and glad to be receiving the benefits of a perpetually improving EMR that has been updating performance of their AI Scribe feature.
Pros: $7c
Cons: There is some redundancy in information being requested of patients at the intake portion. Occasionally, like any EMR/tech platform, there are rare glitches, which usually can be easily rectified via a Slack message. At times, the response to requests for corrections/modifications is less than idea and requires follow-up requests; this is rare but does occur.

The customer service is phenomenal. There is great attention to detail and prompt resolution of any problems.
Pros: The system is simple and easy to use. The documentation interface is clean. I like the integration of billing and EMR with a two interface.
Cons: Nothing at the moment. I do not have anything negative to say. I believe the company is doing an exceptional job.

Excellent. Very impressed with the software and the team. I feel so grateful to have met the team with special considerations to [sensitive content hidden] that have helped our business tremendously. They have a great work ethic and they are even better human beings that treat our happiness and well being seriously.
Pros: The team including [sensitive content hidden] that have been so important to the beginnings and growth of our business.
Cons: I like that they are ready and quick to fix any issues that do occur. There have been a few times where I've asked them to look at certain things and not expected a quick return - but there the team is with quickly addressing small issues - which makes me feel cared about as a provider with a new startup business.
Cliff S. · Physical Therapist, Business Owner · Health, Wellness and Fitness · November 18, 2025
Pros: Spry has been the best EMR experience I’ve had as a physical therapist. The platform is clean, intuitive, and flexible enough to handle the unique needs of a cash-based practice. What really sets Spry apart is the level of attention and detail their team brings. Any time I’ve needed help with customization or workflow changes, they’ve been incredibly responsive and willing to work with me to get things exactly how I need them. Snehal, my customer success manager, has been phenomenal from day one. She listens, communicates clearly, follows up consistently, and truly goes above and beyond to make sure everything runs smoothly. Having someone that reliable and invested in my success has made a massive difference. If you're considering an EMR that actually supports the way you practice, Spry is the one. Highly recommend.
Cons: It would be nice to be able to make changes to the EMR structure myself like some other EMR companies, but I believe this update is in the works.
Alex W. · Physical Therapist - Owner · Health, Wellness and Fitness · November 15, 2025
Very positive experience in which I experience support and assistance at every turn. Have helped my company become much more profitable with minimal added time for admin tasks within a very short time.
Pros: I utilize Spry for my Physical Therapy practice and have found the platform and the customer support to be some of the best I've ever experienced. They are consistently updating the user interface based on user feedback to make use more streamlined, they make custom adjustments in a timely manner for my practice, and respond to queries within 24 hours most of the time and get to work on the things that need work. They handle all my billing needs in a timely manner and have helped me get credentialed with other insurances. As a small practice working 2 days a week in the my clinic, they make use of their full suite of AI and Documntation options affordable and worthwhile. This has helped me scale my business, increase profits with less admin time from me.
Cons: There isn't much that I don't like about Spry, to be honest. Some of the AI features of the documentation have bugs but they have mostly worked them out, as it is an evolving product.
Christopher V. · Physical Thearpist · Health, Wellness and Fitness · November 12, 2025
We loved our previous EMR (Prompt) except the price. SPRY has given us all of the same features for a fraction of the price!
Pros: The AI-assisted documentation is a game changer! Our documentation time has been dramatically reduced!
Cons: Onboarding was a bit unstructured for my liking. It would have been nice to have a more hands-on experience.
Michelle S. · Owner · Hospital & Health Care · November 11, 2025
Overall, there have been minimal hiccups that are expected with any EMR system. The overall service has been excellent and the team has worked hard to make my role as the owner as efficient as possible. They have gone above and beyond for me when facing challenges dealing with prior authorization or understanding billing nuances.
Pros: I opened my first clinic about 4 months ago. I chose SPRY because they had good reviews and a responsive team, as well as great value for money when it came to billing and insurance support and included credentialling support with their billing at no extra cost. Thus far, I have found the EMR itself to be quick, clean and intuitive and feel that it works better than any other EMR I used in past jobs. I have had very few tech issues compared to past EMRs and no downtime occurrences thus far. On the occasion that I have had some small workflow issue, the customer service team was generally quite helpful and responsive. There is a substantial time difference between my town and their office locations, but they have still responded quickly.
Cons: Some parts of the SOAP notes are in different places than are typical (e.g. goals are under assessment instead of plan for example) but this may be customizable, and has not cause me any issues. It is sometimes difficult to know who to contact about a given issue, but messaging the support team via my direct chat channel has always gotten me to the right person in a reasonable amount of time. Time differences and background noise (on some calls) makes communication on the phone or video chat mildly challenging, but they seem to have quiet, private rooms for staff to use if noise becomes too big a barrier.
Justin L. · Owner and Operator · Medical Practice · October 7, 2025
Pros: The integration of documentation and billing, along with the option for them to handle billing, has been very convenient. Customer support has been excellent, consistently providing helpful assistance. The weekly billing meeting help with communication on challenging claims. The new Customer success manager gives us a point person to reach out to with questions regarding software changes and follow up on other issues. They are always making improvements and releasing updates. The thoroughness and user-friendly design of the documentation process, especially with the use of AI Scribe, has made completing clinical notes much faster and easier. The efax AI reader make creating and scheduling new patients quick and easy. Therapists are easily able to schedule their clients for future appointments right from their treatment rooms.
Cons: When reviewing the AR and Patient collection reports, it is not straightforward to access the Charge ID in order to view the ERA or claim history, or to navigate to the billing section of the patient account. Currently, I have to exit the report, go to the patient tab, search for the patient, then open the billing tab within the patient account, and finally click on the Charge ID to find the information I need.

Dedicated team. Through their actions & interactions I have no doubt that Spry exceeds exceptional! My team lead [sensitive content hidden] is thorough and follows through with great dedication. He looks at all communication even messages not direct to him that involves my company just to be knowledgeable and prepared. Just high quality in many aspects from a human aspect also. Appreciate the care and realness of everyone who helps in this well run company with great leadership of many intelligent teams but also with great character of the people who they hire.
Pros: The customer service reaction time, attention & accuracy. It's like someone else working for and with me. They are knowledgeable and aim to assist or create ideas to improve any area before being asked to do so. They provide the spark if you want to take their ideas and put to action or meet you where you want to be.
Cons: Although the AI section is exceptional for the note I'd like the entire SOAP note including interventions to accept AI vs freehand.
Lonni S. · Physical Therapist · Medical Practice · September 17, 2025
Neutral; I like that it is a more modern system but definitely has some improvement needed
Pros: Easy scheduling and automatic emails to patients
Cons: Frequent glitches and system crashes have occurred
Kelly B. · Physical therapist · Hospital & Health Care · December 4, 2024
Extremely pleased with the quality of SPRY. Has contributed to my quality of life, as I am now spending far less time documenting, and more time interacting with my patients.
Pros: Efficiency. I feel like I can document efficiency, thoroughly. Also gives my patients the ability to adjust their own schedule and drop themselves in where they see fit. Coming from a different EMR, I am telling all of my colleagues how exceptional SPRY has been thus far.
Cons: General bugs that are still getting ironed out, but that will come in time. Payment trouble for some patients. Not sure if it is just my browser, but I have to refresh the page a lot with SPRY, as my schedule will not repopulate after I finish documenting for a patient.
Brandon V. · Physical Therapist · Health, Wellness and Fitness · November 21, 2024
Pros: everything is in one place allowing for ease of moving through documentation
Cons: system gets glitchy and patients can create multiple profiles
Kelley M. · physical therapist · Health, Wellness and Fitness · November 20, 2024
Overall, good. Easy to learn and get used to with time
Pros: Ease of templates, plenty of free-text typing, not click-boxes
Cons: Has some glitches like creating a new case when you type a patients name in to schedule them
Morgan V. · Physical Therapist · Hospital & Health Care · November 20, 2024
Overall, Spry is one of the easiest programs with the most access to patients overall information that I have ever worked on. It is user friendly and has many ways to provide and view the most information for our patients while saving us time.
Pros: Spry is great as I can access my schedule online even when not in the office, I have access to the billing portion if patients have questions. It makes scheduling easy as patients can schedule online. They have updated authorization tracking and insurance verification tabs which greatly help with the admin aspects of the job. The documentation is easy to use and straight forward with navigation
Cons: I would like a way for patients to be warned regarding expiring authorizations and not be able to schedule out past their current auth in their chart to prevent any missed tasks. I wish I could add blocks via my phone if I am out of the office.
Noelle F. · Physical Therapy · Hospital & Health Care · November 19, 2024
Overall positive - whenever there are any issues, Spry is quick to acknowledge the issue and then address it.
Pros: Ease of use; ability to document, collect copayment and verify insurance in one system
Cons: Poor loading speed requiring consistent refreshing of page to make schedule appear.
Brianna M. · Physical Therapist · Medical Practice · November 19, 2024
Easy and efficient! I am able to get my documentation done faster, have everything I need for one patient all in their profile.
Pros: Makes documentation more efficient and less time consuming.
Cons: Some billing errors. Spry team is currently diligently working to improve the billing and authorization process for insurances.
Claudia C. · Doctor of Physical Therapy · Hospital & Health Care · November 18, 2024
I just started using it a couple months ago and it is the most efficient system I have used for documentation in my 4 year career. My work/life balance has drastically improved!
Pros: I enjoy the ability to easily communicate, schedule, and manage a POC with the patient being able to independently do this as well.
Cons: For scheduling, there should be more options and abilities to view. Also an appointment card should be able to be texted or emailed.
Maggie W. · Physical Therapist · Health, Wellness and Fitness · November 15, 2024
Mostly very positive experience that has helped simplify many day to day tasks.
Pros: Automated many of the day to day processes of my job
Cons: Crashes occasionally and take a while to load.
Damien O. · Physical therapist · Medical Practice · November 15, 2024
Good! A few kinks here and there but they have been so willing to help fix those issues. It has helped with my notes a lot.
Pros: The ease of writing notes has been wonderful. Really enjoy the authorization notifications when a patient is about to need more.
Cons: The patient emails are too wordy. And the patients seem to have trouble logging in for scheduling.
