Blackbaud EMS has been the devil you know for us, we have a good understanding of the system and so we work with it, and we go outside of Blackbaud EMS to do most of the communication or supplementary work we do for Admissions. Events registration is painful, but it is fine as a database. We like that it has integrations, and that because we use their LMS everything is consistent. Its use is not intuitive. The looks and feel of things, as well as the built-in communication designer for push pages, is very unfortunate - it looks like a 90s website. If we were starting from scratch, I would avoid it.
Pros: It integrates with Blackbaud's other tools, such as Blackbaud LMS, which we use. This means admissions data is in the same place as student data once students enroll, and also means a lot of our other tools are available at the same time. The knowledgebase can help you understand a lot of the process tasks, and there is often an article explaining how to do whatever you are trying to do. There are a lot of training videos and classes that can be helpful for getting a basic understanding.

Pros: Easy to use and to provide instructions to staff and parents. Ease of integration with tuition management.
Cons: Quirks and errors from user side, especially on forms that are difficult to work around.

When used in conjunction with RE, FE and OnCampus, we have a school-wide platform.
Pros: Great software for an admissions office at an Edu. Integrates well with our other BB products and some non-Blackbaud applications. Reports are strong, software is easy to use for our admissions team.
Cons: There are a very few features that we have requested that are not built into the platform yet. The upside is that Blackbaud has a feedback mechanism for these kinds of things and are very responsive when it comes to adding the most popular requests.

Like I mentioned above, I love that I am able to access student information online and don't have to go through endless papers!
Pros: For my needs, I really like the fact that I can access student records, no more paper!
Cons: I find it hard sometimes to create reports myself, but I know that I can go to my colleagues who use this more than I do and get it done.

Pros: I really like Blackbaud since my school adopted it as our management system last year. It is very easy to take attendance (one click for "all students present") and easy to add information. The staff/student directory is user-friendly and I can organize the resources tiles in any order - those often used first.
Cons: nothing really - it's much better than Veracross.

Pros: this software is soo much useful for higher educations. and it is used in biggest universities. and and you can pay your fee from this online.
Cons: i used it but i dont find any problems from this software. tharefor i advise you that u can also use it
