Benchmark Gensuite EHS

Pros: Implementing this system is quick. Technical go-live for some basic modules can be as short as three months ! Benchmark ESG is a full suite with all one would need for EHS and ESG management, allowing for phased imlementation of modules at the speed and scope that is needed. The ESG modules are fully CSRD ready . The EHS modules will provide you with functionalities to support your EHS program, covering compliance, SIF and HOP strategies. The use of embedded AI, like describe-itAI and the PSIF-AI are state of the art. Also there are options to link up external vendor AI tools. For example, the 3MotionAI ergnomic tools can be integrated into the Ergonomic Risk Assessment module.

Cons: The permission model structures are kept intentionally as simple as possible. Understandable for out-of-the-box. However in some areas permission structures requirements are more complicated. Example around ESG reporting. The need for "Limited Assurance" in CSRD regulations requires a double sign off on the reported data and therefor requires more complexity, clarity and differentiation of permission levels for access, review, reporting and verification. That should probably become an out-of-the-box feature instead of a custom.

Pros: The tool is accessible with a low user threshold. Interaction between modules is great and contributes to building continuous improvement of programs and frameworks. The mobile app is highly appreciated by the users, and the option for externals to access the system with a QR code is a very useful function since we are only 50 employees and use external workers for maintenance and other critical functions. ESG Benchmark allows the EHSQ function to work smarter, and gives the Corporate function immediate insight of incidents, audits, inspections and the risk management.

Cons: ESG Benchmark is expensive to implement with high annual cost for a small organisation.

Pros: I love the compliance calendar. It allows a person to spread their requirements out through the year and ensure everything is accomplished. It also allows for notice ahead of time instead of when it is due, which allows enough time to complete the task on time rather than in a hurry.

Cons: The LOTO module could use some more feature. For instance, I would love for it to track users that are trained to the authorization level along with their next due date. I also hope that the audit that is completed for the yearly check has some basic questions to lead an individual as to what is required.

Pros: Action Tracking System – It holds everyone accountable and escalates to ensure everything gets done. The ability to customize the system.Looking forward to purchasing and utilizing other modules.

Cons: I would love to see the ability to see Benchmark and TapRoot to talk to each other for Root Cause Analysis or another tool that can help with configuring for root cause analysis.

Pros: Refrigerant tracking for our stores is made simple.

Cons: User interface is a bit lackluster for inconsistent users.

Pros: The functionality, the ease of use, and the innovation and expansion of the technology. Since 2015 it’s only gotten better and better! From an application standpoint, I really like the Concern Reporting - great for everyday use and engagement. Instant Insights is also great for reporting both up and down

Cons: Training Tracker deployment has been a bit more challenging than anticipated.

Pros: The software is intuitive, easy to use, and when I introduced it to Supervisors for use, even they agreed and love it!

Pros: You can write, customize, and deploy easily, many different types of surveys, quality control quizzes, questionnaires and the like for your business. Easily monitor if benchmarks are being met by assigning tasks to individuals or a team.

Cons: Although you can customize, there is a feeling of clutter on the landing page where you start. It is overwhelming to an individual and many times you can get lost in the software because it isn’t intuitive. Updates have helped, but it could be improved for efficiency and user experience.

Pros: Implementation of various Gensuite Benchmark Digital modules has allowed the city to move from a paper based operation to digital process delivery. It has also allowed the organization to track its risk metrics in a very effective and efficient manner, as it has not had the ability to do this prior to this system launch.

Cons: The system can be customized, but comes with a price. We subscribed to the ready launch instance, and it works well for our needs. It would be nice to be able to 'customize' drop down fields to populate detail specific to our business operations.

Pros: The software is designed for its intended use so they have already considered elements that I could never have imagined. It works extremely well for its purpose.

Cons: Doing mass uploads via Excel workbooks requires certain security settings that our company's I.T. environment cannot handle. I had to upload from my personal computer.

Pros: The customisation of the subcontractor management module, was a key deliverable for us and Gensuite did not disappoint.

Cons: As we work through implementation we have identified opportunities to do things better, such as better integration between plant and inspections forms and search ability of serial numbers for plant and equipment.

Pros: This team has been amazing in processing requests and providing guidance when a new feature is needed or a current feature needs to be altered.

Cons: I do not have any cons at this time for this team.

Pros: The modular nature of the platform means the solution can be tailored to suit the business’ needs and this can be expanded over time. It also provides a cost effective step into the digital system space without investing in elements that the business is not yet ready for. The simple user interface, the dedicated App and the ability to configure the platform have provided us with an easy transition to the platform.

Cons: The initial configuration can be overwhelming as the back end of some modules have such an immense capability, whilst this is not inherently a bad thing, it can be daunting at first and can create a need for further development work once the organisations understanding of the application catches up with the capabilities of the platform.

Pros: Our 2019 restructures have been the smoothest we've seen this year. There is a significant increase in the level of service pre and post reorg & execution. The communications are clear and consistent and the team extremely responsive to our needs. I've been part of the BA team for 4 years, it's great to see these types of results! Great job everyone! What a wonderful improvement - thank you for all you do!

Cons: I'd like to see more granular permission levels as we're project specific. I'd like to have more options within the permissions to 'multi site selection' I'd also like to be able to streamline archive of departments and make that functionality easier for all.

Pros: I have been using Gensuite for around 7+ years and sharing a couple of USP’s  New trend is positive  Always ahead of technology and constantly innovating For us during Audits, the data retrieval feature with storage and Tableau Analytics is very beneficial since these features helps me in day to day activities as a frontline EHS leader. Also, convenient for our Senior management to use it during the review meetings since this gives us a leverage to show and filter as per our need.

Cons: I do not have cons for this software. It is very easy to use.

Pros: Intuitive, powerful, easy to explain and manipulate.

Cons: Needed additional engineering for what should of been out of the box, color coding scheme and printing functions.

Pros: The support team is very helpful and does a great job of responding quickly when assistance is needed. Gensuite replaced several different stand-alone systems we previously used and allows for a one-stop shop where employees can enter or get all of the information they’re after.

Cons: For large data sets, the report pulls are very limited in some cases. For example: pulling all observations globally for a monthly period can be time consuming.

Pros: Multy capabilities, and ability to mix data from different sources and processes

Cons: Navigate between tools, and privileges distributing and very limited ability to solve your own problems

Pros: Super fast deployment that is easily scalable across the organization. Apps are initiative making the transition from paper or static databases quick.

Cons: Some of the standard reporting options are limited to a few data points.
